Hello Team,I am trying to integrate the CANOpen protocol Emergency error codes (EMCY) based on CiA 301, 418(battery module) and 419(battery charger) standards in the STM32L496VG controller. I could see the standard error codes in CiA 301, but I would like to know how to include custom error codes within the standard error codes mentioned below.Error codesDescription0000hError reset or no error1000hGeneric error2000hCurrent – generic error2100hCurrent, CANopen device input side – generic2200hCurrent inside the CANopen device – generic2300hCurrent, CANopen device output side – generic3000hVoltage – generic error3100hMains voltage – generic3200hVoltage inside the CANopen device – generic3300hOutput voltage – generic4000hTemperature – generic error4100hAmbient temperature – generic4200hDevice temperature – generic5000hCANopen device hardware – generic error6000hCANopen device software – generic error6100hInternal software – generic6200hUser software – generic6300hData set – generic7000hAdd

Hi, I have an evaluation board STEVAL-MKI168V1 with the sensor IIS2DH. I was hoping to plug it into the DIL24 connector of the SensorTile.Box PRO and be able to see the sensor's output using the MEMS Studio. This does not seem to be the case. Can somebody provide me some guidance on how to access the sensor data using the SensorTile Box? Currently I am running the firmware FP-SNS-Datalog2 v 3.0.0. I saw that the Git repository https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/fp-sns-datalog2 includes drivers for the the sensor IIS2DH, so it looks like it should be possible to access the sensor somehow.  Thanks,Michal

STMCubeMX version: 6.14.0Mcu Reference: STM32H757XIHxFirmware package name and version: STM32Cube FW_H7 V1.12.1Openamp version: v2018.10We had an old project where openamp worked perfectly with the same version (of openamp), what was diffrent was the custom configuration for a specific display(from TGFX 4.25.0) and the version of the ioc file. The actual user configuration in the ioc is the same as is the code. Now we have to make a new project based on touchgfx Custom board configuration 70STM32H7 v4.1.0. The old one was based on 70STM32H7 v3.2.0 (STMCubeMX version: v6.10.0 and FW_H7 V1.11.1) and worked fine without such errors. Openamp versions match on both IOCs. I checked the errno.h file for the definitions.I am currently working on the M4 core. I setup openamp in the ioc then converted main.c to main.cpp. When I try building I get the following errors:C:/Users/Uporabnik/Documents/Riverdi7NewConfig/Middlewares/Third_Party/OpenAMP/libmetal/lib/include/metal/syst

Hello i Have a question about the STM32WL5MOC.I need to be able to use the bootlader of the WL and in the same UART line use the AT Command. But it seems that LPUART1 that is the only way to use AT Command Application is not used in the bootloader.Do you have any idea to have both functionality Thanks

I created a project based on PLL+Profile,  when compile the project, I get a ERROR, about include path. I search the file and add the path(../../Drivers/CMSIS/DSP/Include) into project manaully, compile success. Is this a bug?

Hello- I am working on simulating a resonant converter based on stgwa50ih65. Can you please share its PLECS model? I am unable to find it on its website. Thanks!

CubeMx v6.14, cmake project, stm32h573ritx. Hi, I am developing a project using threadx and usbx on a h573ritx mcu in cmake using cubemx generator, I have encountered where all but usbx_stm32_device_controllers folder files are included in the CMakeLists.txt. Adding them does seem to fix the issue.

Hello,We are currently developing a couple of devices with USB-C DAM support and have chosen to use the STUSB4500 as the power sink on the device side.We would like to understand whether the following behavior is expected, and if there are any options for managing or configuring it:Using a custom debug board, we pull both CC pins high and then apply 5V power to the CC bus. Once this setup is in place, PD negotiation begins. However, we consistently observe a sequence of three Hard Resets initiated by the STUSB4500. This would not be a concern on its own, but during each Hard Reset, the STUSB4500 also toggles the nVBUSENSNK pin, which in turn enables downstream power for approximately half a second. We’ve attached a screenshot from a CC protocol analyzer illustrating this behavior.Could you please clarify:Is this behavior expected from the STUSB4500?Is there a way to configure the delay on the nVBUSENSNK signal? Can the number of Hard Reset attempts be changed? Is there anything we c

Hello everyone,I'm currently working on driving a 24V, 1.5A BLDC motor using a Nucleo-F070RB board along with the X-NUCLEO-IHM16M1 motor driver shield. For testing purposes, I'm running the motor in open-loop mode.I've configured Timer 1 to generate PWM with complementary signals. However, when I check the outputs with an oscilloscope, I don’t see any PWM signal. Additionally, the status LEDs (D8, D9, D10) on the driver board are not lighting up.I've attached the connection diagram below for reference.Has anyone faced a similar issue or have suggestions on what might be going wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Hello, today I received a stm32f746-disco board and I immediately coded with the external flash memory that I used on my stm32f750-disco, the problem is that the code doesn't work and I can't debug (before this was easy to do on the f750), after testing I found out that I flashed to its external chip and they are different: n25q128 for the f750 and w25q128 for the f746. My question is whether their external flash memory configuration is the same or do I have to create another project for the stm32f746-disco?Here is the video tutorial I used

Hello,i've set the PRODUCT_STATE of my STM32H7S78-DK in the STM32CubeProgrammer from Open (39) to Revisioning (17):When trying to reset the state to Open again I get following error:Is there a way to reset to the product state to Open again? I've read that there should be the possibility to do a full regression in PRODUCT_STATE Provisioning but how do I do that? Thank you an best regards,rk_iot

Hi, I want to send data and receive commands through BLE. For that, I followed some tutorials where I learned how to generate code using STM32CubeIDE. I can now see my device name in the BLE scanner, but I also want to send data and receive commands.  I need to write some code for this. Can someone help me with where to write the code? For now, I just want to send some random data like 0x9944. I am using stm32wb55cgu6 board

I use MCSDK6.3.2 to generate code, when use TIM1 to generate pwm wave, everything is ok. But, when I use TIM8 to generate pwm wave, the code is still TIM1, which is fixed in the code, not according to the pwmc_handle. What is wrong?  Is this a bug?

Seems like transparent background is ignored in final blending, any suggestions will be wellcome. If key-coloring is changed on L2, background color will be shown, so I expect the key-coloring is actually working.L1 has a background picture, and is not updated.Changing L2 alpha from 0xFF to 0x80, normal blending showns both L1 and L2 in correct format, so data seems to be correct picked up.L2 is updated pr. frame, double buffered, and is shown flawlessly but L1 is not visible, when L2-alpha is 255. All Frame-buffers are in internal RAM and each in it's own RAM-bank alligned to 32 byte boundery.

Im using the following code that is part of a metal detector I'm building. Im trying to trigger the ADC based on TRGO of TIM2 (I need dma / adc readings every 10us after the of each TX pulse). I expect the TIM2_IRQHandler interrupt to enter 10us (ADC_DELAY_US) after the TX pulse ends (TIM1_CC_IRQHandler). I added a buffer (buffer variable) to keep track of the milliseconds of the events but when I print it on gdb (print buffer) and then subtract tx_end_micros to adc_start_micros, I dont have 10us, as expected:This is a print of the gdb: {{tx_end_micros = 2573435545, adc_start_micros = 2573437222, num_pulses = 2624525, num_pulses_tim2 = 2624526}, {tx_end_micros = 2573436545, adc_start_micros = 2573436542, num_pulses = 2624526, num_pulses_tim2 = 2624527}}Below is the full code:#include <stdio.h> #include "stm32f4xx.h" #include <math.h> // Function Prototypes void SystemClock_Config(void); void GPIO_Init(void); void TIM1_PWM_Init(void); void TIM5_Init(void); void LED_I

Hi all,I'm working on an STM32F411 project using STM32CubeIDE (bare-metal, no HAL). I'm setting up a 1ms tick using SysTick_Config() and defining my own SysTick_Handler() to keep a millisecond counter. Here's the issue:When I increment a static volatile global counter inside the handler using '++', the system crashes and ends up in Default_Handler. But strangely, if I assign a constant (e.g. millis = 123;), it works perfectly fine. Moreover, if I increment a local temp variable and increment millis, it'll take it just fine. Here's my code snippet. I'm not using the HAL library for this. Would you know why this would be? I'm using an STM32F411CE6 black pill. Thanks! static volatile uint32_t millis = 0; void SysTick_Handler(void) { // This works: // millis = 123; // This works as well: uint32_t tmp = millis; tmp++; millis = tmp; // This causes a crash into a forever loop in default handler: millis++; (void)(SysTick->CTRL); // Clear COUNTFLAG } // SysTick is initialized like

Hello ST Community,I am developing a custom board based on the MB1389 development board and have encountered some obsolete components used in the reference design. Specifically:NX3L1T3157GM,115 is now obsolete. I plan to use NX3L1T3157GMZ as a direct substitute.BGS13S4N9E6327XTSA1 is also obsolete, and I am considering BGS13SN8E6327XTSA1 as a replacement.I’ve reviewed the datasheets for both substitutes and noted minor differences in parameters such as on-state resistance and channel matching in the NX3L1T3157 variant, and potential RF characteristics in the BGS13S4 replacement.Could anyone from ST or the community advise if these substitutions are fully compatible with the MB1389 design, or if there are specific implications (e.g., signal integrity, RF performance, PCB footprint) that I should be aware of before finalizing the hardware?

I am currently working on a project where I'm designing a keypad to send HID commands over USB. Now, I want the keys to register as if a keyboard was connected and a a rotary encoder to control mouse scroll wheel operations. To confirm, is this possible with a composite class such that it enumerates as a keyboard+mouse? Also, if anyone has experience with HID, is it possible to send power commands from the STM to the computer if a key is pressed?

I am trying to configure the HS OTG port on the STM32H747I-DISCO dev board, but setting "Use external vbus" seems to be not enough. I can measure 0.8V on the CPEN line (measured from R11) but I don't see anything on the OUT line of the voltage switch (measured from the positive terminal of C7) and LD7 does not turn on. Is 0.8V the expected output voltage for CPEN? I do not see a value for TYP on the USB3320C-EZK datasheet. Is there more configuration I am missing?

Hi,we're working with the ST25R3918-AQWT in a design that's powered by a CR2054 coin cell. We're trying to minimize the peak current draw through the NFC coil since right now we're seeing about a 500mV droop on VBAT during our NFC read. We've already configured the output resistance to the highest setting but we're still seeing peak current spikes that are higher than we’d like. Our main concern is an effective reduction in battery life if the voltage droops enough to brown out the ST25R3918 whenever the field turns on. Are there any other settings or hardware design choices we can make to reduce the total energy used during an NFC read? Additional information:Our overall field-on time is 10msec. We believe this is about as fast as we can make an NFC transactionOn our application, the NFC tag is a fixed distance from the ST25R3918. Currently we have about 2-3x more range than we need. We already have about 1200uF of capacitance on VBAT to help with this voltage droop iss

I was reading this conversation and found the comment about an example showing support of Audio Class with USBX and ThreadXhttps://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-embedded-software/has-anyone-managed-to-get-a-usbx-audio-device-working-on-stm32/m-p/112225/highlight/true#M5290For some reason, the example is disappearedIs there a reason on why it has been deleted? Is there a way to get it?
