Hello,I am trying to test a deployed application for object detection.I have tested out of the box object detection application code.I can successfully build the project and I can run the code on my board.Unfortunately it doesn't detect any objects. It is supposed to detect person but it never detected.I have tried to use different pre-trained models and built and run them successfully but none of them work. The screen shows the live camera image, shows inference value and detected object number is always zero.Is there anything that I miss? By the way, the factory demo AI application works perfectly, it successfully detects people. So the hardware is OK.

Hello everyone,I'd like to report some issues I encountered while using NetXDuo to create a UDP server with a Nucleo-N657X0-Q board:There's no option to select a network interface other than the custom one — I had to manually add all the libraries related to the Ethernet interface and the LAN8742 driver. The folder ../../Drivers/CMSIS/Device/ST/STM32N6xx/Include/Templates needs to be added manually.Enabling NX_ENABLE_VLAN has no effect in the nx_user.h file. The linker script STM32N657X0HXQ_AXISRAM2_fsbl.ld is missing the tcp_sec and nx_data sections. After addressing all the issues above, I was finally able to get the UDP server working correctly!

Hi,I want to use the Trace Interface on the STS32PING4, but I can't seem to find the correct Pins for it. I have found a general Overview of where the Pins would be located in the STM32G431 here (PE2-PE6):https://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/training/technical/product_training/group0/c9/b9/a2/df/3e/80/45/59/STM32G4-System-Debug_DBG/files/STM32G4-System-Debug_DBG.pdf/_jcr_content/translations/en.STM32G4-System-Debug_DBG.pdfBut since the STM32G431 is integrated in the STSPING4, I don't know the mapping. Also in the Datasheet in the STSPING4, I can't find the Pin names TRACECK and TRACED0-TRACED3.Greetingsdmuth

Hello ST Community, I am currently working on an in-house NFC anti-counterfeiting authentication platform for my clothing brand. The system is being built using the ST25TV02KC tag, and we are now in the stage where access to AN5580 – “TruST25 digital signature for ST25TV512C and ST25TV02KC devices” is required to complete our provisioning and backend integration. I have already submitted a request via ols.st.com, but after checking the forums I noticed that many users were informed that access to AN5580 must be coordinated through a local ST sales representative. However, the official contact listed for Mexico appears to be outdated (phone number no longer active, and the physical office shows as permanently closed on Google Maps). Because of this, I am unsure how to proceed or who to contact for this restricted document. Thank you very much for your support.

Hello  Can someone help with locating software documentation for the implementation of Anti Cloning Verification using the TruST Digital Signature with STTV25-02KC chips. I've found plenty of sales & marketing materials describing it on the ST website. However there seems to be nothing that is Specifically Code Related existing that can assist our developers in actually employing it.  ( I am told that documentation for this is absent within both Apple and Android SDKs.) Additionally, we may be retaining an experienced advisory, so please say "Hello" if you're a match.  Regards ,Andrew Rae   @shuvrak

I have been developing code between TouchGFX 4.25.0 Designer and STM32Cube IDE 1.12.1, with the STM32H750DB-DK development kit.I initially generated the code firstly using TouchGFX, created from the Blank UI using the STM32H750B-DK board setup. I have been successfully been able to create an interface with TouchGFX and then develop the functions within STM32Cube IDE. I have been debugging successfully within the STM32Cube IDE and have created a nice GUI so far. However, using the generated IOC, that was created using TouchGFX. If I generate the code from the IOC, with minimal changes such as adding TIMER7, it causes the LCD to go to a white screen. After I generate the code from the IOC, I regenerate the code on the TouchGFX.I require to edit the IOC as I need to add a Timer to control the backlight brightness, but I can't seem to get that far due to generating the IOC causing the white LCD screen problem. I have had to revert my code back at every attempt, to prevent the pro

Hi,I am working on some screen transitions. I need to make my "page" transitions move and fade in/out together in the process.Below are the issues I found=========================For screen tranisition=========================I can start the screen fade animation on its own.But if I start the screen transition together, this fade animation is not working for some reason.==========================For container mix-in animation==========================I can start both fade/move animation together with the container. But this way all my "pages" would need to be inside a "custom container" and I will only have 1 "screen"All my hw key event will be jammed inside my MainScreenView, and introduce a mess in code structure. Both of the methods require me to start fade animation MANUALLY for each object in the "page" which is very inconvenient. But I can't find a way to do it with a for loop using the forEachChild() function.Since the function gets a "Drawable" object, instead of "

Hello ST Community,I’m currently working with the STM32H750B-DK development board and I’m facing an issue with UART communication through external pins.My goal is to communicate between the STM32H750B-DK and another external controller using UART (not via the Virtual COM Port over USB).Here’s what I have done so far:I have configured USART3 (TX = PB10, RX = PB11) in STM32CubeMX for asynchronous communication.I also tried USART2 (TX = PD5, RX = PD6), which are available on the STMod+ connector. The code builds and runs successfully.I can transmit data successfully via VCP (USB) and see it on the PC serial monitor. However, when I connect a TTL-to-USB converter or logic analyzer to PB10/PB11 or PD5/PD6, I do not see any UART activity.I have verified the pin configuration in CubeMX and ensured no alternate functions are conflicting. It seems like the USART2/USART3 pins might not be physically routed to the external connectors on the STM32H750B-DK board, or they may be multiplexed with other

Hi everyone,I am having trouble with the Teoseo VIC3DA GNSS module:My project is using the Teoseo VIC3DA to obtain information about GPS, gyroscope, and accelerometer, but in the default mode, I cannot see any data from the gyroscope or accelerometer. Therefore, I have tried sending the following commands:Tried to read Gyro data$PSTMDRSENMSG,31*<checksum>$PSTMDRSENMSG,30*<checksum>I even tried enabling/disabling the PSTMDRGPS message according to table CDB-ID 228 - NMEA message List 0 with the following commands:$PSTMSETPAR,1228,800000,1 (enable message PSTMDRGPS in current config)$PSTMSETPAR,1228,800000,2 (disable message PSTMDRGPS in current config)=> The Teoseo VIC3DA still does not change (I have also tried enabling/disabling other messages according to table CDB-ID 228).Only the $PSTMGETSWVER command receives a corresponding response.Additionally, I would like to provide you with the log from the GNSS module starting from the moment the Reset was triggered at attach

Hi,I am facing a strange reset-related issue on my STM32WLE LoRa boards involving the SUBGHZ radio and the RF switch. My application sometimes needs to trigger an NVIC_SystemReset() or I reset the board through the NRST pin. However, a reliable reset only occurs when the SUBGHZ radio is explicitly placed into Standby mode and both TX and RX lines of the external RF switch are turned off before the reset. Here is what I observe:Working sequencePut SUBGHZ radio into Standby modeDisable the RF switch (TX = OFF, RX = OFF)Call NVIC_SystemReset()→ After reset, execution always starts correctly at flash address 0x08000000 (line 0 of my application).Non-working sequenceCall NVIC_SystemReset() while the SUBGHZ radio or RF switch is still active→ The system reset seems to occur only partially:• the CPU resets (peripheral turns visibly off), but• execution does not jump to the reset vector at 0x08000000 For the NRST-Pin. According to the reference manual, this pin needs to be pulled down for at

Hi,The memory address of the AH1B is being referenced on the memory block as 0x4000 0000 (page 67) but further in the documentation it is referenced as 0x4002 0000 (page 69) Please open an internal ticket for doublecheking and possible fix on the nex Rev. Best,Alessandro

Post spread from STM32H745: No device found on target on a custom board Hi, and thank you for your previous answer and for pointing me to RM0399 / figure 22. I am quite new to the STM32H7 power configuration, so I may have misunderstood the datasheet and reference manual. I am using an STM32H745BI with only an external 3.3 V LDO (no SMPS components on my board). In CubeMX I have changed the power configuration from PWR_DIRECT_SMPS_SUPPLY to PWR_EXTERNAL_SOURCE_SUPPLY Right now my board is wired like this: VDDx: 3.3 V, each with 100 nF decoupling VSSx, VSSA: GND VBAT: not connected VSSSMPS: GND VLXSMPS: not connected VDDSMPS: not connected VFBSMPS: not connected VCAP1 / VCAP2 / VCAP3: 2.2 µF to GND VDDLDO_1 / VDDLDO_2 / VDDLDO_3: not connected PDR_ON: 0 Ω to GND SWD is not working reliably and I suspect my power-pin connections are wrong. For a pure LDO-only supply (no SMPS hardware) could you please tell me how these pins should be connected? VBAT VDDSMPS

Hello, I am trying to make a write into flash driver but I am having some issues.I know that the only way to write a 1 to the memory is by clearing the whole page, but I am having issues writing 0s.By reading the manual I encountered: Bit 2 PGERR: Programming error Set by hardware when an address to be programmed contains a value different from '0xFFFF' before programming. Does that mean I can only write 0s once to each addres per page clear? If this is the case, why is that? Wouldn't I be capable of writinng indefinetly when I am not trying to write any 1 in the memory?

Hello, we have a system that consists of 12 VL53L7CX sensors each, on 4 different I2C busses and we are using an I2C address translators (LTC4316CDD) to address them all without needing to change their address dynamically. We are using ST's ULD (ultra-light driver) to interface with them. One challenge we are running into during application development, is that after we initialize all 12 sensors and start ranging, if we restart the microcontroller application we are sometimes unable to re-initialize the sensors - the `vl53l7cx_init()` call fails somewhere. Our current test setup makes it difficult to power cycle just the sensors because doing so also power cycles the host computer. My questions are:Is there an I2C register (or set of registers) that I can access to check if the sensor has been previously configured and if it's actively ranging? This would be helpful to avoid spending time re-initializing if we don't need to.Also, is there an I2C register that I can write to "reset" the se

I'm using an STM32U5A9J-DK and I've followed this guide step-by-step https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/how-to-redirect-the-printf-function-to-a-uart-for-debug-messages/ta-p/49865From the docs https://www.st.com/resource/en/user_manual/um2967-discovery-kits-with-stm32u5x9nj-mcus-stmicroelectronics.pdf I'm seeing that the virtual port is set to USART1, so I've set it up with CubeMX which generated/** * @brief USART1 Initialization Function * @PAram None * @retval None */ static void MX_USART1_UART_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN USART1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END USART1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE BEGIN USART1_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END USART1_Init 1 */ huart1.Instance = USART1; huart1.Init.BaudRate = 115200; huart1.Init.WordLength = UART_WORDLENGTH_7B; huart1.Init.StopBits = UART_STOPBITS_1; huart1.Init.Parity = UART_PARITY_NONE; huart1.Init.Mode = UART_MODE_TX_RX; huart1.Init.HwFlowCtl = UART_HWCONTROL_NONE; huart1.Init.OverSampling = UART_OV

Hi everyone,I am currently running the DCMIPP_Continuous mode example from STM32N6Cube firmware v1.2.0. Earlier, this code was working fine,

Can someone explain how to build own custom yocto linux ?I have experience with raspberry pi, but stm32mp2 have none normal explanation.I have cloned from git scarthgap branch of poky, meta-openembedded, meta-st-stm32mp and meta-st-openlinux. Also, I have downloaded stm32mp SDK.I can't understand if cubemx project for the board is needed ?if needed how to add it if I have generated it ? I have many years of embedded programming of stm32I can't find any build machine for bitbake for stm32mp257f-ev1 ?Overall, trying to build default machine="stm32mp2" gives plenty errors, which I cannot understand.Maybe someone can provide very direct explanation for building image ?

You flipped the power on and… nothing. USB won’t enumerate. The device resets intermittently. Or ADC samples at the wrong rate. Before blaming the hardware, check the clock tree and flash latency. CubeMX gives a helpful UI, but you must interpret the numbers — PLL inputs/outputs, AHB/APB prescalers, timer clock doubling, and flash wait states or subtle configuration mismatches will bite you. The big pictureSYSCLK (system clock) drives the CPU and the AHB bus.AHB/APB prescalers split SYSCLK into peripheral bus clocks (APB1, APB2). Peripherals (UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, timers) use these derived clocks.PLLs are used to multiply/divide crystal or internal oscillator frequencies to reach the target SYSCLK and special 48 MHz domain for USB, RNG, etc.Flash latency (wait states) must be configured so the CPU can read Flash at the chosen SYSCLK. If flash latency is too low the CPU will fetch wrong instructions → crashes or strange behavior.Voltage scaling / power range often limits maximu

The project is a TouchGFX demo running on the STM32H735G-DK.Building works (vscode+plugin+cmake+clang). Flashing works with STM32CubeProgrammer.Debug/flashing doesn't work with STM32Cube plugin, it does work with cortex-debug plugin with a custom launch.json file. Since that is incompatible with the plugin it will require using VSCode profiles and switch between them constantly. If I try to debug using the plugin I get this:STMicroelectronics ST-LINK GDB server.
