In your middle-ware for the usbpd i can't find any of the definition for the functions in usbpd_core.h.https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32-mw-usbpd-core  Example* USBPD_PE_SVDM_RequestMode* USBPD_PE_SVDM_RequestModeEnter* USBPD_PE_SVDM_RequestModeExit Can't be found anywhere in the repo.  It looks like you compiled them all down to assembly files.  Is there a reason for this or am i missing something?

Hello, STM employees,I have bought the NUCLEO-N657X0 board with the intentions of using its USB on the go module. I have previous experience with USB with STM32f401, where I had to employ a single function CDC_Transmit(), and STM32CubeIde and Hal did the rest. It was simple and easy to implement. Currently Im struggling with doing the same with the N6 MCU, but proved impossible. I've tried all tutorials found on your site and community available ones, but could not find a single example that would send "Hello World!" to my PC. I'm sure my board works as I've run a basic blink sketch from the external ROM.Please, if you could add the same middleware for f401 to n657, that would be great.

Hi, I have an STM32C092RCT6U development board and I am trying to perform UART-based bootloading. My board has a B3 button for selecting the boot mode. I am using the Flash Loader Demonstrator to flash the application, but I keep getting the following error:“No response from the target, the bootloader cannot be started.” I also tried using STM32CubeProgrammer. I configured it for UART and attempted to connect, but the connection fails with the error: “Activating device: KO. Please verify the boot mode configuration and check the serial port configuration. Reset your device and try again.” I am using a USB-to-UART module connected to PA10 (RX) and PA9 (TX) with the lines crossed (TX→RX, RX→TX).I also tested using inbuilt Virtual COM port, However, the device is unable to communicate and does not enter the bootloader. Could you please help me resolve this issue?

Hi there, I'm using Nucleo-G474RE to send a bit stream over Simulink, instead of receiving 24 bits on the oscilloscope i can read only 8 bits, which are supposed to be the 8 bits in the middle that have the address of the peripheral and the status of the I2C block gives me 516 which is not on the documentation from matlab.

I'm currently trying to boot STM32MP257 DK board.I managed to do it in the past with starter and developer package. I recently got back to it and tried to boot it again but without success.I tried to upload starter package to SD card and EMMC, both ways are not working.I followed guide on https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32MP25_Discovery_kits_-_Starter_PackageSTM32 programmer is able to see the device:❯ STM32_Programmer_CLI -l usb ------------------------------------------------------------------- STM32CubeProgrammer v2.20.0 ------------------------------------------------------------------- ===== DFU Interface ===== Total number of available STM32 device in DFU mode: 1 Device Index : USB1 USB Bus Number : 001 USB Address Number : 006 Product ID : USB download gadget@Device ID /0x505, @Revision ID /0x0011, /STM32MP257FAK Rev.Y, Serial number : 003B002E4136500C00373653 Firmware version : 0x0110 Device ID : 0x0505However, each time I try to upload image to the SD card I get follow

Dear  STMicroelectronics TeamI am currently developing a wearable board (WB) that integrates NFC communication and wireless charging features. For this design, I am considering using the ST25DV64KC as the NFC Dynamic Tag and the ST25R3916B as the NFC Reader/Transmitter.I work for a design company based in Colombia, with mass production planned in China and Taiwan. I have reviewed the document AN5918, which appears to be focused on NFC-based wireless charging designs.I would like to request kindly:Access to the full AN5918 application note, andDetailed guidelines or parameters for implementing the DC rectification stage from the NFC antenna in a WLC configuration.Your support in providing technical documentation, design recommendations, or reference schematics would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all,I’m working on a custom bootloader for STM32F7, which performs OTA updates using TCP/IP (Ethernet and/or WINC3400 WiFi). The bootloader writes the new firmware to flash, then attempts to jump to the application using the standard sequence: cleaning and disabling caches, setting VTOR, setting MSP, and jumping to the application's reset handler. The Problem:If the application binary is small, everything works: the bootloader jumps and the app runs as expected. If the application binary is larger (for example, over X KB/MB), the bootloader appears to complete the OTA and jump, but the application does not start (no output, no main runs, or immediate lockup/hard fault). What I Have Tried:Verified that the full image is written to flash (checked total bytes and flash content matches binary).Cleaned and disabled D/I caches before jump.Set VTOR and MSP to the application address.Disabled all interrupts, deinitialized all peripherals, shut down the WINC3400, and reset all related GPIOs/SPI

I am currently trying to follow the Designer Generated Code tutorial with `button1Clicked`. However, whenever I try to Run Target it says the function is not declared in the scope. I declared it in the MyView class as a public virtual function. Not sure if I am just missing something simple. If you think it is more complicated and I should add all the details for the situation, feel free to let me know. I am just thinking it is something very simple. Edit:Thank you for your reply Alexandre, I can definitely provide more information: The board I am using is the STM32F469 Discovery Kit. I am trying to implement a function called `user_button_clicked()` that is called when `button1` is clicked. Necessary code is below. Include file startup_screenView.hpp:#ifndef STARTUP_SCREENVIEW_HPP #define STARTUP_SCREENVIEW_HPP   #include <gui_generated/startup_screen_screen/startup_screenViewBase.hpp> #include <gui/startup_screen_screen/startup_screenPresenter.hpp>   class start

Hi,I can't find any information about this diode. What is the actual name of this diode on ST?DEGP025

I am working on a NUCLEO-H753ZI board and want to set up Ethernet communication using LwIP in STM32CubeIDE. I am looking for step-by-step guidance from the IOC file configuration to the generated code, including: Pinout configuration for RMII (TX/RX, MDC/MDIO, REF_CLK) LwIP middleware settings (heap size, pbuf pool, MEM_SIZE, etc.) Memory layout for D2 SRAM / AXI SRAM for LwIP heap, DMA descriptors, RX/TX buffers MPU region configuration for Ethernet and LwIP memory Generating code and linker settings Any tips to ensure that ping from PC works reliably Could someone provide a complete, detailed guide or example project showing how to configure CubeIDE and LwIP for NUCLEO-H753ZI?

I am using stellar studio 8.0.0.in Debug perspective, I can only find the Expression view, but cannot find the Live Expression view in "Window--show view". With Expression view, the monitored variable will be refreshed only when pause the debug session,if it has Live Expression view, I can watch the variable value without need to pause. So I want to know if stellar studio have made the Live Expression function or similar functions now?

I have exported X509 certificate from STM32H573I-DK board, and checked how it is organised. The certificate was issued by "ST CA 01 for STM32 Initial Attestation".I would like to verify whether it is truely signed by ST's upper-level certificate.Where can I find the upper-level certificate?

My target is a 144 pin version of the STM32H5.I would like to implement both a JTAG and a FMC interface.More specifically, a 24-bit muxed-PSRAM.And I would like to output the Byte enable signals. However on this package size, there is only one possible pin for NBL1, PA15.Which is also the DEBUG_JDI pin.Is there any way to route the value of NBL1 to another GPIO pin?

Hi ST team,I am using STM32U5G9 in my project. It would need simple firmware update feature and the image would be received by UART from a zigbee module.I have read UM2851 and AN5447 application notes and check the SBSFU example in STM32CubeU5 package (v1.8.0) in github. I believe this is what my project needs:1. MCUBOOT (Secure area)2. NS Application (non-secure primary slot)3. Nonsecure image secondary slot (for firmware update)4. Authentication and integrity check5. SWAP mode with scratch region I want to maximize the flash usage, so it doesn't need:1. Secure application2. Secure data3. Non-secure data4. Loader5. Encryption The bootloader would verify the signature in primary slot and execute the NS application. NS application would write the new image into Nonsecure image secondary slot when firmware update is needed.I would like to ask:1. How to modify the SBSFU example to meet above requirement? How should I modify below config file?- mcubo

Hello,I am designing a Matter/Zigbee Gateway using an STM32U5 as the host. My planned architecture includes:ST67W: Handling Wi-Fi and Thread (Matter over Wi-Fi/Thread).STM32WBA (or similar): Handling Zigbee (Matter Bridge logic).I have two specific questions regarding the ST67W's coexistence capabilities:Internal Coexistence: Does the ST67W natively support concurrent operation of Wi-Fi and Thread simultaneously without external hardware arbitration?External PTA Support: Does the ST67W expose 3-wire PTA pins (Request/Priority/Grant) to manage coexistence with an external 802.15.4 radio (e.g., the STM32WBA running Zigbee)?Basically, I need to confirm if it supports a "Hybrid Coexistence" setup where it manages internal Wi-Fi/Thread traffic while acting as a PTA Arbiter for an external Zigbee MCU.Thanks in advance.

STM32F429ZI Ethernet @180MHzRM0090 33.8.1 page 1197, ETH_MACMIIAR CR: max value is 100 150-168MHz HCLK/102Is this a print error (other micros in the family can only reach 168MHz) or the controller is not specified to work at 180MHz ?Thx

Hello ST Community,I'm currently developing a project on STM32H743 using TouchGFX 4.25.0 (RGB LTDC interface, framebuffer in external 16MB SDRAM) and LWIP + FreeRTOS (TCP client mode over Ethernet RMII). Everything works fine when TouchGFX is not included. However, after adding TouchGFX to the project, I'm facing strange Ethernet instability.:magnifying_glass_tilted_left: Observations:Without TouchGFX:TCP Client connects to the server reliably. No reconnection or data loss observed.Using recv() with flags = 0 works flawlessly for long durations. With TouchGFX + LTDC + DMA2D:Frequent TCP reconnections start occurring.Happens especially when using lwip_select() + recv() mechanism. If I skip lwip_select() and use direct recv() with flags = 0, reconnections stop, but after some time communication lags or stalls.:light_bulb: Hypothesis:I suspect the problem lies in AXI bus contention between:LTDC/DMA2D accessing external SDRAM (for framebuffer)Ethernet DMA accessing DTCM/SRAM or other AXI slav

Hello, I want to design a PCB with STM32H743VIT6 MCU. But I am not sure how can I choose crystal and capacitors properly. In STM32H743VIT6 datasheet there is one section about this topic;according to this information should I take the Cstray value as a10? (Many other documents suggesting 3-5 pf)so if I choose 16MHz 12pf Capacitor my values are gonna be like this;CL = 12pFCstray = 10pFC1 and C2 load caps,Formula : CL(crystal)=( (CL1 * CL2) / (CL1 + CL2) )+CstrayCL1 = CL2 --> C12 = ( C / 2 ) + 10pFC values are should be 4 pF instead of 12pf in the circuit ?

hi everyone, can anyone steer me to a Datasheet for this, or an identification please? thanks, elts

Hello everyone,I’m working on diagnosing and rewiring the control system for an Ingrem Veyron J20 gaming chair. The chair uses a servo module with an RJ45 connection to the handheld remote, and I’ve been tracing signals back to the main board (marked ST‑H801S‑V1.1 and ST‑H8‑CORE‑V2.1).Here’s what I’ve established so far:RJ45 pinout from the remote:Pin 1 → Green (likely RX)Pin 2 → Black (Ground)Pin 3 → Yellow (TX??Pin 4 → White (logic/handshake line, not VCC)The board itself has a separate AC power feed. With RJ45 disconnected, the board powers up fine (red LED lights). When RJ45 is wired incorrectly, the board fails to boot.I believe the connections come from UART1 and COM20, but I don’t know how they should map to the RJ45 connector:question_mark:What I NeedIf anyone here owns an Ingrem Veyron J20 chair, could you please:Photograph the main board (ST‑H801S / ST‑H8‑CORE) with the connectors attached.Show the RJ45 wiring harness and how the colored wires (green, black, yellow, whit

I am running Linux Mint And I have had STMCubeIDE 1.7 and 1.9 and just installed 2.0. It gave me an error the first time which I forgiot to write down, but it was in the window that normally lets me edit the .ioc file to assign my pins and activate the peripherals. I looked in the community and someone said unclick CDT in the Available Software Sites. Now it does not even ask to create/edit the .ioc file. I am wondering if things are getting confused because I have 3 versions of the STM32CubeIDE installed. How do I uninstall them, so I can try to install a clean copy? I looked at one of my older projects and the .ioc file looks like a text file. #MicroXplorer Configuration settings - do not modify ADC1.Channel-0\#ChannelRegularConversion=ADC_CHANNEL_5 ADC1.Channel-1\#ChannelRegularConversion=ADC_CHANNEL_6 ADC1.Channel-2\#ChannelRegularConversion=ADC_CHANNEL_7 ADC1.Channel-3\#ChannelRegularConversion=ADC_CHANNEL_8 ADC1.Channel-4\#ChannelRegularConversion=ADC_CHA

Hello,I'm new to this STM32 products. We designed custom module with STM32F103CBT6TR. We are facing issue with serial boot loader.I'm using CH340 UART to USB converter module. CH340 MOD TX --> Our Module's RXCH340 MOD RX --> Our Module's TXCH340 MOD GND --> Our Module's GNDAnd our module is powered by USB connector.Boot mode configurationBoot 0 is HIGHBoot 1 is LOWI'm using STM32cube programmer tool. When I try to connect our module, I'm seeing the above error. Just to confirm CH340 module, I tried that with Nucleo board. With Nucleo board I can see it is able to connect without throwing any error.I tried other reccomondations which are mentioned in this community post like hold reset button and plug USB and then try pressing connect in the STM32cube programmer. But that also, didn't help. Any help will be really appreciated.Thank you.

I have an I2C device that only operates with 1.8V logic (Pins are not 3.3V tolerant) that I want to connect to the STM32N6.  I don't want to add an I2C redriver if I can avoid it.  I want to keep as many of my I/O pins on the STM32N6 powered from 3.3V as I can. Which power rail on the STM32N6 determines the logic high voltage for the I2C bus? I want to use the 1.8V rail on my design for the I2C SDA and SCL pull-up resistors. Thanks

How can I activate CSI i STM32CubeIDE for STM32MP257?As you can see, I'm missing something.Any special clock I need to activate?I have activated CSI from DCMIPP. But still the CSI cannot get its pinns green.
