Hi,I am using NUCLEO-L476RG for artificial intelligence purpose. I made my model in STM32CUBEMX.AI and generated my code. Now i want to download it in micro controller.But i am student and unfortunately, KEIL IDE is not support codes more than 32kb.Could you please let me know what the solution is for me? and how can i download my code in micro controller?regards

Posted on August 03, 2017 at 22:55Hi guys, total newb question here: A few weeks back I got a STM32F429.  Immediately when I received it, I plugged it in and played with the demo software which seemed to work fine.  Busy with other things, I stored it away safely for the last few weeks.Just today I go to work with it, plug it back in and all I get is a white LCD screen, the COM LED is flashing periodically and the power LED is continuously on as shown in the image below.Despite having the ST-Link/V2 drivers installed, Windows does not acknowledge the board as a plugged in USB device.Searching this forum and Google have not provided me with any leads.  Anyone have any ideas? #white-screen #stm32f429

Hello,Is it possible to use STM32F746 based application with STM32H743 board ?What we actually need is to use SAFERTOS with stm32h743.The problem is that HighIntegritySystems seems to provide safeRTOS demos only with STM32H7 (according to their web site), and so for example I see:startup_stm32F746xx.c system_stm32f7xx.cIAR_STM32F7_SAFERTOS_LIB.aHAL source (probably for STM32H7)Do you think it can work with STM32H7 ?Thank you,ranran

Hello,I downloaded STM32CubeExpansion_NFC3_V1.4.0.I use the example projectCR95HF_TagDetect with the board X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1 and the board NUCLEO-F103RB.I use smartphone Sony Xperia L1 (TT4B) an Samsung Galaxy S7 (TT4A).I want test the function NDEF_WriteURI(&url);the sub-function ISO7816_SendReceiveAPDU don't return the right argument.I have always the same result .APDUresponse.SW1 = 0x6A and APDUresponse.SW2= 0x82 instead of APDUresponse.SW1 = 0x90 and APDUresponse.SW2= 0x00.Is this mistak cause by the smartphones or by the CR95HF or by software ?Can you help me to solve this mistak ?Best regards

Hi there,I have an FTDI USB-Serial cable connected to a NUCLEO F413ZH. I am running the UART_Printf example from STM32CUBE_FW_F4_V1.18.0 in Keil but am not getting any output in my serial terminal (PuTTy).I have connected the USB-Serial cable to the NUCLEO as follows:USB-Serial Cable NUCLEOGND GNDTXD pin D9RXD pin D8(I have left VCC disconnected as there is 5V USB power already on the board)I have configured PuTTy as follows:Serial line: COM5 (verified)Baud rate: 9600Data bits: 7Stop bits: 1Parity: OddFlow Control: NoneI have also verified that the USB-Serial Converter has the same configuration.Can anyone help me with this?Cheers,Tony

Hello everyone,I am working on RTC of STM32F042C6. But I have a calibration problem. This is my measurement mechanism:For example: I’m measuring a +23,2 ppm error. I’m writing the value 24 (+23,2 ppm / 0,954 = 24 clocks) for the CALM bits of the CALR register. However, I observe that it masked 18 clocks instead of 24 clocks for 32 seconds period.The measurement unit can be count 10M for every second and 32 x 10000000 = 320000000 for 32 seconds period.32 seconds = 2^20 RTCCLK = 1048576 RTCCLK = 320000000 This is equal to 305 for 1 clock.The value of +23,2 ppm error is 9999768. The value of 1 clock masked is 9999768 + 305 = 10000073. The value of 2 clock masked is 9999768 + (2 x 305) = 10000378. The following table shows masked measurements marked in yellow. Here it is seen that 14 x 1 clock + 2 x 2 clock = 18 clock masked. But 24 clock should have been masked.I observe that the CALM value is written correctly:This is my code: RCC_APB1PeriphClockCmd(RCC_APB1Periph_PWR, ENABLE); PWR

Hi,I'm trying to use the mailbox of the ST25DV64K on an android application.The Fast Read is ok. But the Fast Write is crashing with an exception.... And the mailbox is correctly written...When I execute the function "mNfcTag.FastWriteMailboxMessage(Msg.Count, Msg.ToArray());" , An excption is generated with the code "CMD_FAILED" and the Error Data is "0x03".On the debugger output, I have following lines :Send fastWriteMsg command: 22 ca 02 bb 5b 3a 0f 00 26 02 e0 1b 2c 30 2c 31 32 2c 32 30 35 2c 30 2c 30 2c 30 2c 30 2c 30 2c 30 2c 35 34 31 31 34 2cResponse: 03On the ST25DV, the mailbox has received the message, and the RF OUT flag is set. What is the problem ?

I am getting pixel data to the stm32. I am reaching the "end of frame flag clearing" at:stm32l4xx_hal_dcmi.c ----> HAL_DCMI_IRQHandler() ----> (line 811)__HAL_DCMI_CLEAR_FLAG(hdcmi, DCMI_FLAG_FRAMERI);I am simply checking cameraBuffer[] pixel array using SNAPSHOT and CONTINUOUS modes without success.I am working on a DCMI camera interface between the NUCLEO-L496ZG board and a MT9V024 10-bit monochrome camera sensor used in 8-bit configuration. I have successfully been able to set the MT9V024 sensor to "capture mode" to retrieve a single pulse and give me 8 bits of data (using MT9V024 D2 through D10 and skipping two LSB pins B0 and B1). This will omit the two LSB data, but keep the upper eight bits. The MT9V024 is using 752x480 8-bit parallel frames, which use the HAL_DCMI_ConfigCROP() function in order to reduce the size of the image to 376x240. I set HAL_DCMI_Start_DMA(WIDTH*HEIGHT/4) since there are 32-bit words for DMA and 8-bits per pixel, so 4 pixels per word. I included the

Hello:I seemingly have the LPUART now configured correctly. For sure the transmit (without DMA) functions OK. I only have receive DMA configured. As usual, it was done in Cube.uint8_t rxBuff[40];#define RX_DMA_SZ 10The start is the same as I am using in another program that does work:   HAL_UART_Receive_DMA(&hlpuart1, (uint8_t*)rxBuff, RX_DMA_SZ);I also have both half/complete callback defined.When Teraterm sends characters I can see them on the receive line from the 485 transceiver to the L433. I have a breakpoint in the interrupt under the IRQ interrupt and the DMA interrupt. The breakpoint is never hit.I have an ADC DMA that works just fine, this one doesn't feel quite the same. What would cause the UART DMA not to function?

Hi, I use CLT01-38SQ7. In datasheet (DocID028182 Rev 1) is not clear to me how to use Vcs pin (24V sensor power supply sensing input) for UVA purpose.In Figure 7. “Logic status of the SCLT3-8BQ7 power supply? voltage ranges of Vcc and Vc are shown, but I do not understand how these values are determined, since they depend on the values of the voltage divider in the circuit Vcs (pin 14) and his input current.                                   NOTE: This question and answer originated from a customer support case which was handled by us. I have a problem with triac BTA06-600B, when I try to power off some LED lamps they start flickering. I use triac to manage the main power (220V 50Hz), if the load is a traditional, halogen or cfl lamp all works fine. I tried to unmount the snubber circuit and the led stops flickering, but I'm worried about the lifetime of triac in case of inductive load. Is snubberless triac a solution? Are there any other components to manage main voltage?       NOTE: This question and answer originated from a customer support case which was handled by us. We are using USBUF01W6 as EMI filter for STM32F207VCT6 in USB D+ and D- lines in Full speed mode and we have connected VBUS (5V) at pin 3.3V pin of USBUF01W6. Does this make sense to you?NOTE: This question and answer originated from a customer support case which was handled by us. Dear forum,I am using ST STM32F103R8T6 MCU for my medical project, i referred the hardware design guide to design the MCU schematics, now i have question in my mind that how do i deal with unused pins?should i connect 10K resistor to ground? or should i directly connect unused pins to ground? i am attaching the guide which i used to design the schematics. in this guide i did not find any statement which says how to deal with unused pins.please help me out.

I am working on project in which we are using STM32F103C8T6 and I have one development board called blue pill and also have st link V2.But I don’t know where to start which are the softwares are required for STM32 development. I have searched on the web but still not getting proper information.So Please anybody can help me with this....

Hello everyone.I program the MCU for the first time.I got the "NUCLEO-L496ZG".Next, I downloaded "STM32CubeL4" from ST homepage.I run the "\Projects\NUCLEO-L496ZG\Example\ ADC\ADC_DMA_Transfer" for the downloaded file.I want to change the input pin of the ADC.But I don't know what files to change.Please teach me the file to set the register first.Best regards,Toru

Hello.I use the S2-LP DK_1.2.1 project example "SDK_Chat.c" as the base for two Steval-FKI433V2 PCBs.The 1st Steval with unchanged SDK_Chat.c program is used as a base device, connected to COM-port, the 2nd Steval without connection to COM-port should send the data on request of the 1st Steval.Question: how to switch S2LP-Rx/S2LP-Tx modes correctly without the cycle of waiting the COM-port's chars sequence?May be there is Echo example for two Steval PCBs?A target part of the program SDK_Chat.c is placed in infinite loop of main().The start line 347 (line count for original SDK_Chat.c): tx_data_size=0;the end line 378: tx_data[tx_data_size] = '\0';(All this part of original SDK_Chat.c is placed in the end of this question.The file SDK_Chat.c with my changes is attached, the added lines are signed with '//my' comment).I try to replace the target part with the next one: /* infinite loop */ //- line345isRxCmd=0; //this is added while (1){   while(!isRxCmd) { /

There is a packing mode check in Drivers/STM32H7xx_HAL_Driver/Src/stm32h7xx_hal_spi.c, function HAL_SPI_Transmit_DMA around line 1464, that is referencing RX side DMA handle:1464 /* Packing mode management is enabled by the DMA settings */ 1465 if (((hspi->Init.DataSize > SPI_DATASIZE_16BIT) && (hspi->hdmarx->Init.MemDataAlignment != DMA_MDATAALIGN_WORD)) || \ 1466 ((hspi->Init.DataSize > SPI_DATASIZE_8BIT) && ((hspi->hdmarx->Init.MemDataAlignment != DMA_MDATAALIGN_HALFWORD) && \ 1467 (hspi->hdmarx->Init.MemDataAlignmen t != DMA_MDATAALIGN_WORD)))) 1468 { 1469 /* Restriction the DMA data received is not allowed in this mode */ 1470 errorcode = HAL_ERROR; 1471 __HAL_UNLOCK(hspi); 1472 return errorcode; 1473 }I believe all references to hdmarx should be hdmatx in this context. The hdmarx may not even be initialized properly.Thoughts?

Unlike STM32F7 (and presumably other STM32 families) which defines IS_SDMMC_ALL_INSTANCE in the CMSIS header file stm32f7**xx.h, the STM32H7 does not define this macro which is required for proper compilation of stm32h7xx_hal_sd.c and stm32h7xx_ll_sdmmc.cThis was observed on package version 1.3.2 Can this get fixed so that we dont need to modify the non-user code section of these files?

In example code in library STM32CubeExpansion_NFC5_V1.3.0 for STM32L476RG-Nucleo, after pressing user BUTTON, it enters in low power mode. When it should be wake up, after again pressing user BUTTON or After detecting RFID tag? What is the program flow?

Hello,is it possible to know when will the 1.4 software version of STM32CubeH7 be released?Thanks in advance.

Hi,I am using NUCLEO -F722ZE board for testing the STM32F7 and their peripheral features. Other peripherals I tested works fine, but I have encountered a problem with I2C2 in slave mode, that doesn't send ACK when the master calls it (status flags keeps idle too).STM32 core and AHB/APB buses are working at maximum speed (216MHz, 108MHz, etc...).Here is the code:// 1st configuring RCC, GPIO, and reset for enable I2C2:RCC->APB1ENR=0x3040000B;      // I2C2 (and others) clockedRCC->APB1RSTR=0xE2F7CBFF;   // Reset I2C2RCC->APB1RSTR&=0xCFBFFFF4; // Free reset of I2C2GPIOB->MODER=0x55A55555;     // PB10 PB11 in alternate functionGPIOB->OTYPER=0x00000C00;    // PB10 PB11 open drainGPIOB->ODR=0x00001C00;           // PB10=Higo PB11=High preventivelyGPIOB->PUPDR=0x00000000;      // No pullups (
