Hi, ST expertsI added component 'SPC5 FreeRTOS Component RLA' to the applicaion of ‘SPC560BCxx_RLA DSPI Test Application’.Found that MCU can not run, the attachment is the source code, experts help to see, what is the problem?I tried to solve this problem many days and failed.Thank you very much.Detail of the attachment information:Board: SPC560BCXX_EVBProduct line: B/C-lineDevice: SPC560B50L1Applicaiton name: SPC560BCxx_RLA DSPI Test Application.

Hello,I would like to start new design with STM32MP157A in next weeks, but various AppNotes topics, usual for STM32 MCUs was not published, but are mentioned in other AppNotes, exactly:AN5275 - STM32MP1 Series: USB DFU/USART protocols used in bootloadersAN5089 - STM32MP1 Series and STPMIC1 hardware and software integrationAN5256 - STM32MP1 Series discrete power supply hardware integrationBesides this, exact description of default boot pins mapping for respective peripherals and their conditions in embedded bootloader, something equal to"AN2606 - STM32 microcontroller system memory boot mode" just for STM32MP1, etc.In what timeframe will be remaining documentation published ?The only remaining issue is still missing STPMIC1 datasheet. Many thanks.

Hi,I am thinking if it is possible to connect a low power I2C sensor to ST25DC, and use a reader to read out the values through the ST25DV(Powered by the Veh from ST25DC), or do I need extra MCU between the ST25DV and the I2C sensor to done the communication?

Hello All,I received my MP157C-DK2 kit. How do I download the image on it?Thanks,Gil

I have a 32F412GDISCOVERY and I'm interested by the things happening in the demo of the board but I'm not able to find any code. So does anyone have it or have an idea how to get it? I appreciate any help.

I am currently working on the LIS2DE12 accelerometer. I've been reading the datasheet and I was a little confused with the interrupt configuration. The datasheet says the device provides 2 interupt pins (INT1 and INT2). 1. My understanding is that you can use either the INT1 pin or the INT2 pin. Is this correct? What's the reccommended practice?2. In the CTRL_REG6 register, there are two bits I2_IA1 and I2_IA2 for configuring interrupts. Specifically what does "interrupt 1 function", interrupt 2 function" and "activity interrupt" mean? Thanks

I have the following code to perform a serial transaction. The idea is that RX DMA is configured first to catch bytes as soon as they are transmitted in response from the other device. TX works great, but RX does not. Interestingly enough, if I use a different UART with its corresponding DMA, both RX and TX work great (UART5, DMA1 Stream 7, DMA1 Stream 0). This exact code with these settings does not through. Shouldn't it all be exactly the same? This code bails out in the RX timeout.bool UartInit(void) { GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct;   // Enable clocks __GPIOB_CLK_ENABLE(); __USART1_CLK_ENABLE(); __DMA2_CLK_ENABLE(); // Configure GPIO GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_AF_PP; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL; GPIO_InitStruct.Speed = GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_HIGH; // TX GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_14; GPIO_InitStruct.Alternate = GPIO_AF4_USART1; HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOB, &GPIO_InitStruct); // RX GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_15; GPIO_InitStruct.Alternate = GPIO

Hi, I want to create custom SD card for STM32MP157A-DK1board but I did not find any script for it in SDK available. Could you please let me know the procedure to create SD card and how to flash images in it?Thanks,Deshvir Malik

Hi, my custom board has OTG interface. So I reference the dk2 board to configure usbotg_hs as otg mode. But now, the otg interface only recognise on system starting up. It's can not recoginse the hotplug devices. Below is my dts code. My board use ID line to switch the OTG_VBUS.696 &usbh_ehci { 697 phys = <&usbphyc_port0>; 698 phy-names = "usb"; 699 status = "okay"; 700 }; 701 702 &usbotg_hs { 703 pinctrl-names = "default"; 704 pinctrl-0 = <&usbotg_hs_pins_a>; 705 dr_mode = "otg"; 706 phys = <&usbphyc_port1 0>; 707 phy-names = "usb2-phy"; 708 status = "okay"; 709 }; 710 711 &usbphyc { 712 vdd3v3-supply = <&vdd_usb>; 713 status = "okay"; 714 }; 715 716 &usbphyc_port0 { 717 st,phy-tuning = <&usb_phy_tuning>; 718 }; 719 720 &usbphyc_port1 { 721 st,phy-tuning = <&usb_phy_tuning>; 722 };Now, on my some test cases. The system only recognise after I manual rmmod and insmod the dwc2 driver module, then usb device c

The clock and data lines on SPI seem to go tri-state off when not in use even though the SPI channel is left open. Is this expected behaviour? It causes issues with some connected chips as they see the re-establishment of the driven clock signal as a clock pulseCode is:HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive(&hspi3, mybufft.cTxBuffer, mybuffr.cRxBuffer, 1, 5000);

It seems parallel RGB on the MP151 is supported on the TFBGA361 and 448 package.  Is there any manufacturer of SOM modules (preferably DIMM socket based) with a parallel RGB header ?

Hi, Is it possible to use multiple models in touchgfx. I have designed six screens for my application and all the screens are interacting with a single model. I would like to use separate model for each of the screens. Is it possible to do that. If yes, give me an idea to implement that.

Is there any way to change font of an application? I have a button that change the application style( buttons image ecc) but i need (graphic guy want) also to change the font, size and colout of the text. Is it that possible?

Hello,I used the following "Target Software Startup Script" in the debug configuration in Atollic TrueStudio (this is necessary since we're using a bootloader and our application binary which I would like to debug is not placed at the beginning of the STM32 flash):How to enter this in STM32CubeIDE?I would really need to debug my firmware, but can't figure out how to do the required settings...Any ideas?Kind regards,Markus

We are building a customized board with processor STM32MP157AAD3 and DDR3 of 1GB. I am able to download the source for STM32MP157 from the STM website, and I am not sure with what DDR configuration it has been done.So how to set ddr configuration of 1 GB in the BSP ?Regards, Nitish

Hi guys,I program an application with a STM32LO-LRWAN1 module who does the connection with a sensor by I2C and i would like to integer my application in the "Ping Pong" example for proving to my boss that the connection between two modules is possible. I tried to do that manually but my method look hard and i have problem with multiples define.Do you have any advices for simply put the project who only use the stm32 in the "Ping-Pong" projet on Keil uvision 5. Because i don't think that we have the possibility to modifiy the project with CUBEMx.Is someone has yet done this kind of think or know an other possibility to do that. I appreciate your help. Thanks

I am looking for an accelerometer we can use for motor condition monitoring. Which one would you recommend ?NOTE: This question and answer originated from a customer support case which was handled by us. We regularly review support cases and add any helpful ones here for all to benefit from.

I am using the CCMRAM to store some large array which should be zero-initialized.My definition for the arrays is similar to:__attribute__ ((section (".ccmram"))) uint32_t large_array[4096];Obviously, there is no constructor for these and there should not be a need to store the initial value of this array in flash. However, that is what the linker is doing. The relevant portion of my linker script is as follows:CCMRAM (rwx) : ORIGIN = 0x10000000, LENGTH = 64K   ...   /* uninitialized data in CCMRAM */ .ccmram : { . = ALIGN(4); _sccmram = .; /* create a global symbol at ccmram start */ *(.ccmram) *(.ccmram*) . = ALIGN(4); _eccmram = .; /* create a global symbol at ccmram end */ } >CCMRAM AT >FLASHHow do I get the linker to not store these in flash?I tried removing the ">FLASH" from the previous line, however the binary file produced grew fro ~200kB to 200MB, which is not desired. If I move these arrays to RAM and remove the __attribute__ line, it works as

Hello everyone!I using STM8L050J3 and I wana read UID of DYNAMIC Tag ST25DV04K by I2C. I've read in datasheet of ST25DV04K and saw that: Address I2C of ST25DV04K = 0xA6 or 0xAE.I used those address in my program but I get this bug. Please, Can you explain it for me?Thanks,

Hello everybody,I'm currently using CubeMX + Touchgfx with my Stm32f469i-disco board.Everything works fine, but whenever the board needs to update something that is one first quarter of the screen (e.g updating a text) the whole quarter of the screen reblinks. This doesn't happen when i'm updating something that is otherwhere on the screen. The only strange thing I did was setting manually the hltdc.Init.AccumulatedActiveW and TotalWidth to 202 and 203 (instead of the 802 and 803 created by CubeMX), otherwise the lcd doesn't work properly. Thanks,Mariano

The official release of STM32G4 was scheduled for the 20th week of 2019, but now we are in the 21st week and there is still nothing. Any problems?Andrea

I am using a STM32L476. I am using the counter mode on the low power timer to generate an interrupt after a given period. When I am in run mode, this interrupt works just fine. However, when I use the interrupt to try and wake the MCU from Stop2, I get stuck in the interrupt handler. It seems like the routine to clear the interrupt flags is not working properly. I tried to manually clear the interrupt flags in the IRQHandler instead of calling HAL_LPTIM_IRQHandler but this did not seem to work either. Is this a known issue? Are there any workarounds? I really would like to make use of the LPTIM and Stop modes.

Posted on February 03, 2018 at 07:45I want to calculate CRC for large file, the large file have been added the CRC value in the end of the whole .bin file(Get this CRC data via IAR tool). I read the file and calculate CRC of it in part(HAL_CRC_Calculate(&CrcHandle,  (uint32_t *)data, len).  So I will get lots of crc data because I read it in part.1. How can I deal with these crc data then the final crc vlue will be equal to the one calculated in the IAR?2. Will it be any prolem if the last file part is not divided to 4 bytes(Considered the Byte alignment), then cause the final CRC data is not equal to the one calculated in the IAR? How to deal with this problem?

Hi.I am trying to compile the SBSFU project for STM32L, more exact i am using b-l475e-iot01a.I have put together the following makefile, trying to compile SECoreBin, but i cannot work out how to link it together without getting /usr/lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/8.2.0/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld: /usr/lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/8.2.0/../../../../arm-none-eabi/lib/thumb/v7e-m+fp/softfp/crt0.o: in function `_start': (.text+0x44): undefined reference to `main'Makefile.###################################### # Makefile by CubeMX2Makefile.py ######################################   ###################################### # target ###################################### TARGET = SECoreBin   ###################################### # building variables ###################################### # debug build?
