Hi STNow I am using ST25R3916B evaluation board, it works well with the project code you provided. My final target is using 3920B on automotive for demostrating NFC card detection as well as digital car access to customer. But we will finally change to other platform's MCU, not use ST's hsot MCU.Due to our MCU has limited Fash / RAM size, we are considering to build our own middleware code to drive NFC frond end. but it looks like it's hard to understand the protocol through I2C waveform, and no any protocol document is avaiable on your website. Is migating RFAL the only way I can do for realizing NFC function with 3916B / 3920B? ThanksLeo

Hi,I can't seem to find the launch configuration setting to specify a device in the JTAG chain by its position and IRpre length. I'm using a J-link programmer and I can usually do this from the command line by passing the -jtagconf x,y argument to the J-link executable. However, the debug console in VScode shows that the debug launch config called the Segger J-link GDB server without this argument. I can't seem to find how to make the debug config to append this to the J-link server call Is this supported by the STM32Cube extension? Thanks

Hey guys, can you help me find the datasheet for the L9790 chip? It's in the automatic transmission control unit. Thanks.

Experimenting with STM32F427 and STM32F446 I found out, that the RCC_CR.HSEBYP bit is *not* reset by Software reset. It is reset only by NRST and Power-On reset. While applications where this could lead to problems (i.e. where HSE clock source is changed on-the-fly and software after performing Software reset relies on reset state of this bit) are probably very rare, it may result in an "interesting" surprise if one stumbles upon it, and deserves to be documented. Can ST please confirm/explain and document? Thanks,JW

When i give varying PWM signal at high frequency under range, the motor sometimes produces noise and gets stuck (0 speed even though pwm signal is valid). What is the issue? I feel its due to PID tuning. Kindly share PID tuning method. Thanks

Hi, i have bought a Nucleo-U575ZI-Q coupled with a X-Nucleo-67W61M1 i have upload the exemple ST67W6X_MQTT, after reading the doc i have complete the configuration and i run well.  I use it with mosquitto or nanomq brokers (same results) but on both the broker inform me than the QoS=0 (with publish and subscribe) The documentation of the AT-command of ST67W indicate that i can use 0,1 or 2 for the Qos. In the exemple the drivers don't use the Qos and force it to zero. I have modify it but the result is always the same. I would like to use QoS=1 to be sure the message arrived. Have you an idea ? I have verify than the broker accept all levels in the conf. I have also publish with MQTTX(with Qos=1) and the broker notify the good level of Qos

Hello Community,We are currently evaluating the STM32H562IGT6 microcontroller for our development project. During our review of the device’s pinout, we observed that several GPIO pins are designated as FT (5‑V tolerant). We would like to request clarification regarding the electrical behavior and long‑term reliability of these pins when subjected to a continuous 5 V digital input.Specifically, we would like to understand whether applying a constant 5 V signal to the FT‑labeled pins may have any impact on product lifetime, derating considerations, or long‑term performance degradation. The following pins are of particular interest for this inquiry:PC0FT_aPC1FT_ahPA0FT_atPA6FT_ahPA7FT_ahPC4FT_aPC5FT_ahPB1FT_ahThank you.Regards,Rajesh Matere

Hi ST Team,I am working with STM32MP257F-EV1 board and facing an issue while trying to connect the ST-Link interface using STM32CubeProgrammer.Connection setup:An external ST-LINK/V2 programmer is connected to the CN22 (ST-LINK header) on the STM32MP257F-EV1 board.Behaviour:1) Tried connecting with both SWD and JTAG modes, but the connection fails in both the cases.2) The board is detected only when connecting USB to connector CN15(USB_DRD) in DFU Mode. For your reference ,I have attached the STM32CubeProgrammer configuration screenshots and connection logs.Additionally, while reviewing the ST Community forum, I found the following discussion related to this issue.link: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mpus-software-development/debug-authentication-on-the-stm32mp2257f-ev1-for-st-link/td-p/708255Could you please confirm whether this behavior is expected for the STM32MP257F-EV1 and any configuration or steps to enable and validate CN22 (ST-LINK header) on STM32MP257F-EV1 board ?Thanks an

STM32CubeIDE is creating a new folder inside ".stm32cubeide\.jxbrowser-7.41.4" everytime STM32CubeIDE launches. It would be nice if the application cleaned up its junk, at least deleting old profile subfolders, as each one eats up 75MB.I just manually deleted over 75 of them dating back to October.

hi i re-downloaded STM32 Cube IDE but i cannot find <create STM32 Project> I downloaded this sw over and over but nothing changed :(please help me with this

Hello,I searched on Google but I don't know if anyone has encountered this problem before. As we know, CubeMx and Cube IDE were recently released as two separate programs. I think this error might be related to that. The error is this: I open a project I created in CubeMx in the IDE and upload it to the chip; there's no problem up to this point. However, whenever I make an update in CubeMx, the entire update isn't reflected in the IDE (or rather, in main.c). If there were no updates at all, I would look for the problem elsewhere, but some of the configuration settings are transferred to the IDE while others are not. The most recent example I experienced was that changes to the ARR and Prescaler registers of the TIMER module were transferred to the IDE, but the changes to the PWM (CCR1) register remained the same. In this case, I had to manually change the relevant value in main.c (and it was quite difficult to notice).Look, the main problem here is that we developers ultimately trust ST

According to the STM32 datasheet, the maximum clock frequency of TIM6 and TIM17 is shown as 64 MHz, while that of TIM1 to TIM8 is shown as 200 MHz. There is a conflict in the documentation, so please confirm which one is correct. (DS14258 Rev6,page 132)The datasheet indicates that the maximum supported clock frequency of SPI is 100 MHz, but no errors are displayed when configuring 200 MHz in CubeMX. Please confirm the actual maximum clock frequency of SPI.

So on the page https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/stm32-mcu-product-selector.html i cannoy filter out STM32 products which have higher resolution ADC converters built in, i need high resolution input (>16bits or eq SD) and there is no way to select for that.I had more luck on Digikey parametric selector which is odd (and not as good as manufacturer parametric filter/selector)...Also for web designers, some grayscale shading change between sections, rows, columns would be helpful, dark mode (even Digikey and Wikipedia has that option now)!Any advice in case I'm missing something.

Hi, I'm a circuit engineer in korea.I want to make really small BLDC FOC controller with STM32G491KE, because It has the smallest pin counts compare to other G491 family. For FOC Control, I have to use three TIM channel. For use external ociliator, I have to use TIM1_CH1_CH1N, TIM_CH2_CH2N, TIM8_CH1_CH1NIf I use TIM channel with that combination, Will FOC controller work well? Is there any differences with TIM1 and TIM8?I want to use 491KE Series for smallest FOC Controller. Thank you.

So I have a board which I'm correctly using with threadX and TouchGFX.I want to implement a function that calculates the FFT of a signal, but I'm having a hard time finding the CMSIS-DSP libraries.I need to include the classic math library for ARM#include "arm_math.h" #include "arm_const_structs.h"But in cubeMX I'm finding various DSP librarieswhat should I use?

When I used the MMT tool in STM32CubeMX to configure a 256MB NAND FLASH based on FMC, an error appeared. I am using the STM32H743IIT6 chip and have configured NAND FLASH in the FMC. I want to know how to solve this problem.

Hello all,Anyone successfully implemented the Standby Mode for STM32WBA52/55?  I am struggling going thru the examples and I wouldn't be able to enter the standby mode level.  My board still consume about 70mA when I enter the standby mode.  From the datasheet, it should be under 1uA with SRAM.Thank you.

Requesting ST to kindly provide a working example for STM32U545 using stand-alone USB HOST MSC to interface with a USB Pen drive. A Tech-Note explaining the code to be added to the various CUBEMX generated files would help.I have been logging to the USB Pen Drive for years using the F105 and F405 series. For battery operated devices I planned to move to U545 expecting a simple code migration but the USB interface has changed from the familiar and simple FATFS.I tried to refer to the available USBX/FILEX samples of various other devices but could not get them to work as many refer OTG types while U545 has DRD types.I referred to various threads on the community.st.com but they trail off without answers.Thanks.

I am working with the STM32U585RIT6 and need to implement a secure firmware update. In my application code, I don’t want to handle flash management or low-level update logic. I only want to generate a secure binary file and perform the update.I reviewed the SBSFU and X-CUBE-SFI examples. The X-CUBE-SFI solution requires a license and an HSM card, which I do not want to use. The SBSFU example available under B-U585I-IOT02A/Projects/Application/SBSFU involves multiple procedures and is somewhat difficult to understand.Given these constraints, how should I approach implementing a secure firmware update?

I'd like to know about the write cycle for the m95p16i EEPROM.I'm using "Page write (02h)" to write 32 bytes to page 0.The first write is to address 00h, the second to address 21h.I continue to write 32 bytes at a time, writing 16 times until the last address on the page.Does the write cycle increase by 1 in reverse order? Or does it increase by 16 cycles because of the 16 writes? If it's 16 cycles, can you recommend a way to improve the write cycle?

Hi,when generating a project for the STM32G484 using STM32CubeMX (6.16.1) and create a project and code for this. I cannot seem to get it to build (and/or debug) in STM32CubeIDE (2.0.0).What am I missing here? Thanks,ErX.
