I have a generic parallel LCD screen. 24 bits RGB, vsync, hsync, pclk, data_enable, disp_on,..The examples I see on the wiki only shows the HDMI connection and DSI. How do you configure this for DPI?Is this a good start? (In the device tree)panel_backlight: panel-backlight { compatible = "gpio-backlight"; gpios = <&gpiob 0 GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH>, <&gpioc 4 GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH>; default-on; status = "okay"; };   lcd0: display@0 { compatible ="panel-dpi"; label = "lcd"; enable-gpios = <&gpioh 15 GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH>; backlight = <&panel_backlight>;   port { lcd_in: endpoint { remote-endpoint = <&ltdc_out_rgb>; }; };   panel-timing { clock-frequency = <33000000>; hactive = <800>; vactive = <480>; hfront-porch = <40>; hback-porch = <40>; hsync-len = <24>; vback-porch = <29>; vfront-porch = <13>; vsync-len = <3>;   hsync-active = <0>; vsync-active

Hi.. Geeks From few days I'm playing with SBSFU. I'm using default application SBSFU files (STM32L496G-Discovery_AWS) with custom user application with STM32L496ZG The default code was ported on STM32L496AG which is x-cube AWS I have simply adopted it's default BootloaderOSC files To get synchronized with the original application, I have been change linker script of the user application as per the default app As per the default app,I've been linked out all applications with SBSFU script file and I'm able to generate the .sfb files Now my problem is, when I upload the .sfb file using teraterm YMODEM then SBSU files starts executing and I'm getting logs accordinglyhere is the logs ====================================================================== = (C) COPYRIGHT 2017 STMicroelectronics = = = = Secure Boot and Secure Firmware Update = ======================================================================     = [SBOOT] SECURE ENGINE INITIALIZATION SUCCESSFUL = [SBOOT] STATE:

Hello everyone,I've just realized a PCB using STM32H7A3 micro. But at second step I already fell.I've my system powered up at 3.3V from an external circuit. The quality seems to be good.I've tried to program the micro using STlink through a SWD port. The result is "No device found on target ".I'm sure the setup works as I used it for programming the devlopement board STM32H745I-DISCO. In that case I've had no problem.I've checked the signals on the PCB as far as reachable:Reset is pulled highBoot0 is pulled lowVCC is stable at 3.3V and appears at all desired pins of the boardGND is connected to all the necessary pinsVDDA and VDDS are connected to 2,5V and GNDPDR_ON is connected 3.3VI suppose could be a matter of power supply so I started checking my configuration. Here's my condition. I use an external regulator and I want to use only the internal LDO:What's strange to me is that I expect to read something around 1,2V across the capacitorsconnected to VCAP while actually there's nothing

I am currently trying as follows:HAL_FLASH_Unlock();HAL_FLASH_Program(FLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_HALFWORD,0x40023BFD,10);HAL_FLASH_Lock();However, no data is recorded.

Ive also tried reading the linker documentation but didnt understand much.

Hi everyone，Now it is very difficult to find the learning materials about cudemonitor, so can we download the project（cudeIDE prj, cudemonitor_orj，cudeMX prj） of the online embedded event webinar？

Hi,I'm working on a project with STM32F746 and touchGFX. When I move (use move mixing) some widget witch its alpha value isn't 255 or change screen, the screen is flickering. I'm using an external frame buffer(SDRAM) and I did LTDC layer settings as shown LCD's reference Manuel. I don't know where the problem is.Here is a video that shows the problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrhtPq7dJXs And if you want my code's config part I can share.ın first screen 800x480 (alpha = 0) flex button with a box coming screen. So I think the problem in here with alpha blending.I also had same issue a mount ago and I fixed it by changing LCD's frequency but now it doesn't help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0T0yGYekXSE

Hi,I have used STM32l562-edk evk hardware and stm32cubeide for software. I have enable freertos in the project. For debug print message purpose I have created one function named as logPrint. char g_msg_buf[100];void logPrint(const char *format, ...){ int DataIdx = 0; int len = 0; va_list args; va_start(args, format); vsprintf(g_msg_buf,format, args); len = strlen(g_msg_buf); for (DataIdx = 0; DataIdx < len; DataIdx++) { ITM_SendChar( g_msg_buf[DataIdx] ); } va_end (args);}When I have run the program and invoke the logPrint function at that time OS stuck at vsprintf. Observation: When I have disable the freeRTOS then function is working properly and i get the data on console. When I have enable the freeRTOS then OS stuck at vsprintf. Please help me to figure out this issue.

Hi everyone, I have problem when i try to change GPIO inform then i push "generate code". But it replace my old code.can you let me know how to only update inform for code not replace old code?thanks you and sory about my poor english!

Hi all, how are you?. Yesterday I was unable to make the RTC work on my STM32F103C6, miraculously I've noted that the program was giving an error condition (until that moment I wasn't using the error handler function, now I'm using it) then I found that the error was that the function HAL_RCCEx_GetPeriphCLKFreq(uint32_t PeriphClk) used by HAL_RTC_Init() was returning zero as the frequency for the RTC was consecuently had a result or error initializing the RTC.The line of HAL_RCCEx_GetPeriphCLKFreq(uint32_t PeriphClk) where the frequency was returned is the 584 ant the code is the followingreturn (frequency); The line of HAL_RTC_Init() where the assigning was happening is the 364 and the code is the followingprescaler = HAL_RCCEx_GetPeriphCLKFreq(RCC_PERIPHCLK_RTC);to solve the problem I had to change the line 584 of HAL_RCCEx_GetPeriphCLKFreq(uint32_t PeriphClk) to the followingreturn (uint32_t) frequency; Now the definitions:The definition of the function to get the frequency on line 38

Posted on May 31, 2017 at 19:33I am using an stm32f030x8. I am using the HAL. Normal operation I can use I2C reads/writes with no problems; however, I can occasionally have errors in the receive data when more activity is taking place on the MCU. I scoped the lines and the bytes on the line are correct/as expected. While step debugging, I can see that the data seemingly gets shifted by a byte when this occurs (i.e. byte 0 in the receive array is some garbage value that was not actually on the bus (verified from scoping the lines), byte 1, 2 etc are the expected data. Things to note: using synchronous reads here, interrupts are not in play. this system uses single priority interrupts (no nesting)Things I have verified:The actual data on the physical line is correct (scope + logic analyzer verifies this)I verified that the pointer address for the buffer being passed in does not get changed (rules out memory corruption of that pointer)Verified that the bad d

HiI`m trying to read temperature from a Sensirion STS3X sensor using I2C3 with PB13 and PB14 configuredMy problem is , during tranmission I2C_WaitOnTXISFlagUntilTimeout returns HAL_ERROR and I can`t talk to sensor.I have used Cube project to generate filesI2C Initstatic void MX_I2C3_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN I2C3_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END I2C3_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE BEGIN I2C3_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END I2C3_Init 1 */ hi2c3.Instance = I2C3; hi2c3.Init.Timing = 0x20502B38; hi2c3.Init.OwnAddress1 = 0; hi2c3.Init.AddressingMode = I2C_ADDRESSINGMODE_7BIT; hi2c3.Init.DualAddressMode = I2C_DUALADDRESS_DISABLE; hi2c3.Init.OwnAddress2 = 0; hi2c3.Init.OwnAddress2Masks = I2C_OA2_NOMASK; hi2c3.Init.GeneralCallMode = I2C_GENERALCALL_DISABLE; hi2c3.Init.NoStretchMode = I2C_NOSTRETCH_DISABLE; if (HAL_I2C_Init(&hi2c3) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } /** Configure Analogue filter */ if (HAL_I2CEx_ConfigAnalogFilter(&hi2c3, I2C_ANALOGFILTE

I am using the GUI on the top layer above live video and i must insert some box behind the widgets otherwise i got noise in the background on the top layer

Please fix.Thanks.

I am using board P-L496G-CELL0x and STM32CubeExpansion_Cloud_AZURE_V1.2.1 software. When I use a SIM card without a Pin Code, the program works fine and I can connect to Microsoft Azure. But the problem is that when the SIM card has a Pin Code, the program does not run and does not ask me for a Pin Code in the terminal. What should I do to use the SIM card with Pin code? There is a function in the program called:at_status_t called fCmdBuild_CPIN (atparser_context_t * p_atp_ctxt, atcustom_modem_context_t * p_modem_ctxt) That is related to the PIN code, but I do not know how to use it and what other functions may should use.

Hi I'm trying to read the OTP bits on the discovery board STM32MP157C-DK2 using the STM32CubeProgrammer v2.4.0. The GUI version can't read the OTP bits, but I tried with the Command Line Interface and it gave me the following error:C:\Program Files (x86)\STMicroelectronics\STM32Cube\STM32CubeProgrammer\bin>stm32_programmer_cli.exe --connect port=usb1 -otp displ ------------------------------------------------------------------- STM32CubeProgrammer v2.4.0 -------------------------------------------------------------------       USB speed : High Speed (480MBit/s) Manuf. I've been debugging a custom designed board that has an FT4232 USB IC on it with a JTAG interface. STM32Cube IDE up to 1.3.1 could successfully debug this through openocd. Version 1.4.0 wants to force firmware verification so I can no longer program and debug my board. How can I disable the ST-Link firmware check?

When generating code on an existing Makefile project any existing C_DEFS are corruptedC_DEFS = \ -DUSE_HAL_DRIVER \ -DSTM32F301x8 becomes-DC_DEFS = USE_HAL_DRIVER \ -DSTM32F301x8 so the definition of C_DEFS is lost and random errors result from the dangling defines. This is on version 5.6.1 but is has been an issue for a long time (at least a year).I've also seen other strange behaviour on Makefile - like "# compile gcc flags" gets repeated every time the code is generated - one makefile now has the string 15 times on one line!!Another is -isystem for system include file path, CubemX insists on prefixing it with -I so it fails with -Iisystem ....I'll save all the other bugs I've found for another day! - the above are the most annoying!

Hello,I'm working with the NUCLEO-F722ZE EVB on STM32CubeIDE.My design has a DAC output connected via a jumper wire to an ADC input (see the red wire in the attached picture. The DAC is successfully generating a sawtooth wave - verified via an oscilloscope. However the ADC isn't working properly. I'm using a break point to stop the code and I see "semi constant" values.By "semi constant" I mean that the reading is changes between compilations but is constant during runtime and seems to be unaffected by the DAC that's driving it.What am I doing wrong ?This is my code:#include "main.h"   ADC_HandleTypeDef hadc3; DAC_HandleTypeDef hdac; UART_HandleTypeDef huart3; uint32_t voltage_in = 0 ; uint32_t voltage_out = 0 ;   void SystemClock_Config(void); static void MX_GPIO_Init(void); static void MX_USART3_UART_Init(void); static void MX_DAC_Init(void); static void MX_ADC3_Init(void); int main(void) { HAL_Init(); SystemClock_Config(); MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_USART3_UART_Init(); MX_DAC_I

Hello!I created a project for NUCLEO-F429ZI with two ethernet interfaces. The first interface is the card's own ethernet connection. The second is a USB-RNDIS virtual ethernet port. The two ethernet interfaces work, but only if I enable software checksum generation on both interfaces. Is there a way for the physical ethernet interface to use hardware checksum generation and the virtual one to use software checksum?

I'm currently using a STM32F030CC and i need a Bootloader and Main App structure. The problem is that i can't find in system_stm32f0xx.c constant VECT_TAB_OFFSET to change. Also SCB->VTOR is missing. I'm currently using SMT32CUBEIDE v1.4.1. Any ideeas ?
