I did saw the example from BlueNRG-1_2 DK 3.2.1 Project\BLE_Examples\BLE_Power_Consumption but I am confused on setting registers. Is there any hal library for this?

Hi,I am trying to access the On-demand Webinar: ToF Sensors for Multi-Object Ranging however I am stuck in a loop. I filled in my email address to get access to the webinar and I did receive an email with a Download button, but when I click on the Download button it takes me back to the page to signup for the Webinar. I can not seem to get access to this.Is this still available?Link Ref:https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/premium-content/premium-content-AME20-on-demand-webinar-ToF.htmlCheers,Jon

Hi,This is a question to the folks @ ST, or to whomever release the Cube packages.(Maybe someone involved in that process, be the best to answer)Are contributions, or fixes to the packages welcome by ST for the packages ?If contributions are accepted, how would ST like to receive the contributions ?(I mean the process, the format etc etc and so on)Is there a formal defined procedure, documented someplace on the same topic ?Thanks,Manu

Hi guys,I am having a problem with the configurations for a PWM on an timer channel. I am working on a STM32L552ZE with LL library. I am tring to configure a PWM on pin PB9 (TIM17 CH1). I have first configuret as a PWM with interrupts (TIM17 update interrupt and in interrupt toggle pin) it works ok. But when I trie to configure it with OC I get nothing just the pin in 1.3V. To the pin I have connected only the base of an NPN transistor. Below you will find the code used to configure the PWM:void Config_125kHzPWM(void){   LL_TIM_InitTypeDef TIM_InitStruct={0};   LL_TIM_OC_InitTypeDef TIM_OC_InitStruct={0};   LL_GPIO_InitTypeDef   GPIO_InitStruct={0};   /*Enable registers CLK*/   RCCCLK_ENABLE_DISABLE((uint32_t *)&RCC->AHB2ENR,RCC_AHB2ENR_GPIOBEN,ENABLE);   GPIO_InitStruct.Pin             = LL_GPIO_PIN_9; &nb

In my code i try to delete a flash mem page using if(HAL_FLASHEx_Erase(&FlashErase,&PageError) != HAL_OK)but always got an HAL_ERROR because in this function (which is called in HAL_FLASHEx_Erase...)HAL_StatusTypeDef FLASH_WaitForLastOperation(uint32_t Timeout) { uint32_t error; uint32_t tickstart = HAL_GetTick();   /* Wait for the FLASH operation to complete by polling on BUSY flag to be reset. Even if the FLASH operation fails, the BUSY flag will be reset and an error flag will be set */ while (__HAL_FLASH_GET_FLAG(FLASH_FLAG_BSY)) { if ((HAL_GetTick() - tickstart) >= Timeout) { return HAL_TIMEOUT; } }   /* check flash errors. Only ECC correction can be checeked here as ECCD generates NMI */ error = FLASH->SR;   /* Check FLASH End of Operation flag */ if ((error & FLASH_FLAG_EOP) != 0U) { /* Clear FLASH End of Operation pending bit */ __HAL_FLASH_CLEAR_FLAG(FLASH_FLAG_EOP); }   /* Now update error variable to only error val

Hello,I'm following this tutorial to "play" with ADC.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLsAhJ8umJk&list=PLnMKNibPkDnFCosVVv98U5dCulE6T3Iy8&index=10At the end (27:30), it is using a LL function for the ADC driver, while during all the video it is using the HAL driver. There is no problem because both stm32g0xx_hal_adc.h/c and stm32g0xx_ll_adc.h/c files are included in the projet.In my project (i'm using L073RZ mcu) I have to select HAL or LL for the ADC driver in the ProjectManager->Advanced Settings of STM32CubeMX. So I cannot select both, and only HAL or LL files are included in STM32CubeIDE project.As a consequence I cannot use the __LL_ADC_CALC_TEMPERATURE macro.So how to add both HAL and LL files in the project?I'm working with STMCubeIDE 1.4.0.Thank you

Hi..I have soldered a Teseo-LIV3 on a PCB with acces to power and RX/TX and nothing more. I read the NMEA strings, but no satellite data is present.Is it correct understood that Teseo-LIV3 can not operate without an external antenna? If so.....what does "stand alone module" mean?RegardsKenneth

Hello,When generating code from ioc editor with "STM32_WPAN": "BLE" and "BLE Application Type": "Router profile", but "Rounter Mode": "Disabled", the app_conf.h file is generated with error in line 303: enum not completed: /**< Add in that list all tasks that may send a ACI/HCI command */typedef enum{/**< Add in that list all tasks that never send a ACI/HCI command */typedef enum{BRPaul

I've realised that the GPO doesn't drive the PIN low, after I published a Message. I've read in your Datasheet that it Needs a  "UpdateBinary command execution" (GPO is driven low after a delay (1) following the beginning of the correspondent UpdateBinary command execution.) So what does that mean? I used the Android Plugin.NFC which sends a StopPublishing command, but the M24SR doesn't recognize that.Best Regards,Jonny

I am experiencing strange behavior with the following setup: Custom hardware, STM32G070CBT6 @ 3.6V with/without software present4.7k resistor from PD0 to 3.6VThere is no electrical connection between PD0/PD1 (checked resistance with multimeter)If I apply a square wave of 0V/3.6V to PD1, a similar signal can be observed on PD0. It seems like there is an internal pull-down resistor switching on/off. It does not make a difference whether software configures the pins as inputs, or no software at all is present on the microcontroller.How can this behavior be explained? Is there an internal mechanism that can cause this? As far as I can tell, these I/O pins should not influence each other at all. Besides using different pins, can anything be done about this using software?

Hi, I had added include paths for some header files, but they are not being found as shown in the image. I went to Properties > C/C++ General > Paths and Symbols > Includes to add the include paths. I confirmed that these paths exist in Properties > C/C++ Build > Settings > Tool Settings > MCU GCC Compiler > Include paths. Additionally the paths and header files seem to be resolved in the Project Explorer under Includes. The image specifically shows that qf_port.h is triggering a No file or directory error when included from qk_port.c even though qf_port.h is resolved under Includes. This is my first full project using STM32CubeIDE because I'm coming from TI MCUs and Code Composer Studio where I never had this kind of problem.EDIT:I've started looking through the makefiles and now understand why this error is occurring, but I'm not sure what to do about it.Here is the structure of my debug folderWithin Drivers\STM32F3xx_HAL_Driver\Src the subdir.mk file includes

I have CubeMX installed and when selecting SMT32WL family I get three BGA devices to select, but when I want to start a project based on these,I get the error: "STM32CubeMX cannot load this Mcu"I have CubeMX 6.0.1 and all packages installed.I would also prefer to have the QFN package in the tool, because that is the device I want to use on my boards.

Hi guys,I'm playing around with the board in the question and I'm struggling with it even though I'm fairly familiar with the F767 Nucleo. What I want: to reprogram the demo that came on to the board for now, as I haven't managed to get the display on the board working at all since before then. I've downloaded the stm32f769 disco demo that includes the appropriate .HEXWhat I've done:I've upgraded st-link using the upgrade utility. Within STM32 Cube programmer, I've selected the appropriate External Loader for my disco board. My board is connected via st-link and is recognised by cube programmer.On the erasing and Programming tab I've selected the correct .HEX file and the device begins to program. The file is about 120MB and so takes a good while to program. Once the programming has complete, cube programmer tells me that it was successful. However the screen is corrupted, as per the image. Any suggestions with this would be great, it's probably something that I'm doing wrong

I'm working with the STM32-base template for F4 located here:https://github.com/STM32-base/STM32-base-F4-templateTo compile with gcc toolchain and loading the binary with STLink Utility. The binaries work fine on the board, but I cannot figure out how to enable Serial Wire Output (SWO) in the STLink Utility interface or get a serial output to show up. I've added IE:#include <stdio.h> // up topprintf("hello world"); // in main()ITM_SendChar('s'); // alternatively, in main()All of which seems to compile fine, I can get a blinky LED On the port fine, but no serial output. STLink Utility is v. 4.5.0.0

I'm curious about the delay time between the title mentioned, I toggled an IO when I wrote data into UART->DR, the delay time varies from 3 micro seconds to 10x micro secondsint main(void) { /* initial code generated by STMCubeMX */ HAL_Init(); SystemClock_Config(); MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_USART1_UART_Init();   while (1) { HAL_Delay(50);   if (USART_GetFlagStatus(&huart1, USART_SR_TXE) == SET) { USART_SendData(&huart1, 'F'); } } }     void USART_SendData(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart, uint16_t Data) { assert_param(IS_USART_ALL_PERIPH(USARTx));   assert_param(IS_USART_DATA(Data));   GPIOB->BSRR = GPIO_PIN_1; // Tick an IO pin for debugging GPIOB->BSRR = (uint32_t)GPIO_PIN_1 << 16u; // reset pin   huart->Instance->DR = (uint8_t)(Data & (uint8_t)0x00FF); // send data (write DR) }I'm not sure whether the time jitters is related with BAUD rate 9600(104 micro seconds/bit),Isn't the data should be showed immediately w

Dear all,I have a STEVAL-SPIN3020 board. Is it possible to read the parameters stored in the board and backup them on my PC? I have caooneccted the board to my PC via USB and I'm using MCSDK_v5.4.4 software.Thank you very much for your help and cooperation,RegardsLuigi Ferrari

I am using STM32L072RB MCU is in while loop of main function. with Timer6(for Blinking and LED every 2sec) and systick timer is running.Now i call function : adc_spi_chip().I am waiting for PA2 pin to become low but i found that waiting for it using a while loop stops everything like systick timerIn below code , i am reading a adc chip ,first i write to start conversion and then wait for end of conversion.Sometimes EOC signal doesn't comes and my code stucks #define SPI2_CS_HIGH GPIOB->BSRR = GPIO_PIN_12 ; #define SPI2_CS_LOW GPIOB->BRR = GPIO_PIN_12 ; #define EOC_N HAL_GPIO_ReadPin(GPIOA,GPIO_PIN_2)   uint8_t data_received[26]; void spi_chip() { uint8_t *data_received_pointer; data_received_pointer = &data_received[0]; SPI2_CS_LOW if((HAL_SPI_Transmit(&hspi2,(uint8_t *)&conversion_register_buffer,sizeof(conversion_register_buffer),500))!=HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } SPI2_CS_HIGH flag_eoc_check = 1; while((EOC_N)==1) { if(flag_eoc_check == 0) { bre

Hi, ST team!My customer uses STM32WB55 in their development and recently he faced with following issue.When the WB into the standby - OK. After out from standby mode all peripherals need repetitive initialization (processes, clocks, memory etc.), but CPU2 is already in work mode (C2DS=0 and CRPF=1) and doesn't completely communicate with CPU1 (into the interrupt IPCC_C1_RX_IRQHandler doesn't in).We have been found the solution of this issue on ST community. There is a soft reset as I mentioned.Could you please to advice how to avoid soft reset?Thanks in advance!

For my master thesis I am trying to receive data over DCMI with the STM32H742. As an image sensor I am using the NOIV2SN1300A. It sends data over 10 data lines, this data differs (so not always `0xA603A603`). To reduce data size I have activated binning and subsampling.I am using DMA to transfer the data received by DCMI into the internal SRAM at address `0x24000000`. After I receive the whole data, so the whole datalength which i set (of `0xA603A603` data), the uC goes into hard fault and infinite loop. I am not sure why this error occurs. Here is my config for DMA and DCMI:``` hdcmi.Instance = DCMI; hdcmi.Init.SynchroMode = DCMI_SYNCHRO_HARDWARE; hdcmi.Init.PCKPolarity = DCMI_PCKPOLARITY_RISING; hdcmi.Init.VSPolarity = DCMI_VSPOLARITY_HIGH; hdcmi.Init.HSPolarity = DCMI_HSPOLARITY_HIGH; hdcmi.Init.CaptureRate = DCMI_CR_ALL_FRAME; hdcmi.Init.ExtendedDataMode = DCMI_EXTEND_DATA_10B; hdcmi.Init.JPEGMode = DCMI_JPEG_DISABLE; hdcmi.Init.ByteSele

Hey there,since a few weeks i am setting up a USB-PD sink with the Nuc-USBPDM1 and Nuc-G474.In this special case i want to:1. Read out charger PDOs2. Set up Fixed PDOs (e.g. 15V@3A) and switching during runtime3. Set up APDOs according to PPS (variable voltage and current) and switching during runtimeMy project files are generated by CubeMX with firmware package 1.2.0 for the G4 series (with 1.3.0 i couldn't get this work). I am using non RTOS mode.For now it is possible for me to select fixed PDOs and switching them during runtime (by USBPD_DPM_RequestMessageRequest). But when i want to set up an APDO (by requesting continuously every 100ms) i can't get this work. Only the first request is sent by the stack (proved with Cypres USB-PD protocol analyser) and after this i only get a "USBPD_BUSY" or "USBPD_ERROR" by the request function and the stack goes crazy (hard resetting every few seconds). The whole board has to be reset, that USB-PD stack works stable again.Is there any possibilit

Suppose I use an oscillator instead of the suggested resonator for LSE. Will that even work, i.e., will the internal RTC continue to function when in battery mode? I assume that I'd have to power both oszillator and STM32 (using Vbat)?
