The max ADC clock is 50MHz but the source can be divided by up to 256 so there is no need to limit the source frequency@Khouloud ZEMMELI

If you have an example, please help.

Hello,I am trying to optimize the current consumption in tag detection mode for my battery reader (based on ST25R95).I have followed the application note for keeping current at minimum with tag detection as suggestred below:https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000BsxIdSAJ/approach-for-low-power-design1)In the AN (section 2.4 "Using LFO frequency settings to reduce power consumption") says the the LFO at 4kHz will reduce energy, but I have tested and energy is not reduced. As far as I know the LFO clk is the same for different frequencies, the change is for the presecaler. My question: ¿Does a lower LFO freqquency really save energy?2)I know the tuning for the antenna is very important for reaching good performances at reading level, but I would like to know how a good tuning impact on the current consumption.3)Other option I am assessing is to decrease the OSC and DAC start time (recommended to be 3 ms). How risky is to decrease this time under 3ms?----FYI:I am currently using RF

Hi,I am using LIS2DW12 Accelerometer for tilt angle detectionIs it possible to detect the tilt angle(A and B) in both directions as shown in figure and trigger the interrupt event in wakeup interrupt mode?It is possible in 6d orientation mode, but I need wakeup interrupt mode since I have to detect the tilt angles from 10 degrees. Please suggest a suitable solution.

I'm using the STM32H735G DK eval board. Was able to load my code and use the FDCAN ok, when I went on to get the SD-Card going, I found that when reading a block the first 12 bytes would not be transferred. Since I have two boards and so tried the second one, and the result was the same. But switching back to the first one could not get ST-Link connect to the target.Message: Error in initializing ST-LINK device. Reason: (4) No device found on target.Going back to the other board the situation is now the same. There were no changes to the hardware or any jumper settings. The boards are powered via ST-Link. Both boards where disconnected with the MCU stopped at a breakpoint and after that didn't work any more.Any ideas?

The code from the 1.16 example builds fine in the EWARM. It writes the source blocks to the terminal, but as I see in the debugger, it fails to encrypt the input block. That times out as it fails to return a HAL_OK status. /* Start decrypting aCyphertext, the decrypted data is available in aDecryptedtext */  if (HAL_CRYPEx_AES(&CrypHandle, aCyphertext, AES_TEXT_SIZE, aDecryptedtext, TIMEOUT_VALUE) == HAL_OK)  {   /* Display decrypted Data */   Display_DecryptedData(CBC, 128, AES_TEXT_SIZE);  }  else    {   /* Processing Error */   Error_Handler();  }I have read all the how-to info in the examples. Has anyone else run into this issue and found a solution?

I have used STM32L151xE in a board and drove a glass LCD with it and it works without any problem. But in its datasheet, in two sections, it is mentioned that, STM32L151xE is not support LCD and just STM32L152xE can support it. Is there any explanation for this?I am sure that the IC is original.

Can ST25R3911B write on tags? Or it is only a reader?Regards.

My stm32l4 discovery kit iot node b-l475e-iot01 stopped the connection via connector 8, I couldn't do it at all, so I used ST-LINK V2, I got communication, but I can't use the USB again, I didn't touch the hardware, absolutely nothing.

I am using STM32F429 in my project which connects to an ATmega2560 thru UART. In arduino, there is a function Serial.Available() to check if the serial buffer is empty or not.Is there a function in STM32 that is similar to Serial.Available() in Arduino?BTW, I am using HAL libraries in STM32CubeIDE and HAL_UART_Receive(huart, pData, Size, Timeout) to read the contents of UART buffer. Please help. Thanks!PS. I've read the documentation in HAL library but I'm not sure if there is one. I've looked into HAL_UART_GetState but Im not sure.

I am using STM32H745ZI for a personal project. Page 60 of the attached datasheet from ST says there are I/Os that are floating unless otherwise specified. I want to use an I/O that I can guarantee will be in either low or high state on a reset or if the processor stops working. My goal is to find an I/O that I can be certain will be in a particular state (high or low) at reset or if the processor is not working but has power.Any help is appreciated.

Deer electronicians,I was following the video "STM32 – Creating a File System on a SD card" from the ST Youtube channel.I done stricty the same things as in the video but an error occurs.../Core/Src/main.c:22:10: fatal error: fatfs.h: No such file or directory 22 | #include "fatfs.h" | ^~~~~~~~~ compilation terminated.I tried to enter manually the include path for all the files concened but many new errors are rising. My config :STM32F746-DISCO (the same as in the video)STM32CubeIDE 1.6.0Firmware F7 1.16.1Windows 10 64 bitsI stay reachable for any questions or precisions.Cordialement,François

Are additional external circuit components needed to reliably connect USB voltage to an ADC input, besides a voltage divider that brings 5V down to 3.3V?

Hello,so I am trying to set up a INA3221 current/voltage/power sensor with my STM32F469I-Disoc board. The I2C_adress ist 0x43 (or 0x86 if shifted left). I set up my I2C with CubeMX in 400kHz mode and already used to interact with a BME280 sensor. The interaction with this sensor works without a problem, however it uses 8 bit registers. The INA3221 sensor has 16 bit registers. I am just getting startet and wanted to check/read the value of the configuration register (0x00) after writing my own config to it (config value: 0x7FFF).I guess I am doing the write operation wrong but I dont quite now what to change:extern I2C_HandleTypeDef hi2c1;   typedef struct { uint16_t checkv; }INA_DATA;   INA_DATA INA;   //Initialization of the INA3221 void INA3221_Init(void) { HAL_StatusTypeDef status=HAL_OK;   uint16_t mycfg=0x7FFF; //All channels enabled, 1024 averaging samples, 8.2ms BV CT, 8.2ms SV CT, and all continuous measuring //uint16_t mycfg=0x7927; //All channels enable

Hello @Khouloud ZEMMELI ,I am observing download issues:When trying to go to example related windowWhen trying to start a new project via option "Start my project from MCU"Please help with fixing the issue. Thanks,Rajeev

We are using STM32L5 Nucleo board and TZEN is enabled and DBANK mode is enabled too..!How to switch dual bank mode to single bank mode in option bytes(if any h/w or s/w changes)??Please explain the procedure to understand what are the changes needed to be done before I uncheck DBANK option byte in Cube programmer...?

Hello,I've confirmed my registration on feb 25th, but today i got an email stating my registration can't be confirmed. Is this an error?

Hello,I just received an email from ST; I registered for the 30 March workshop but due to reached capacity my registration was not confirmed. I would like to ask if there is the possibility to join the workshop on another day.Thank youAlessandro

I'm considering changing from STM32F723ZEI6 to STM32F723ZET6.[Question]・Is there a problem when I run the same program?・Does they have the same functionality?

Hi, so basically I am looking to source the IMU LSM6DSM. I see that it is out of stock almost everywhere. Is this device being discontinued? Why is it so hard to purchase? If you have a more in-stock variant, with the same pinout, please let me know. I see that there are a bunch of LSM6DSxxxxxx variants but I'm not clear on what the differences are. They do have separate datasheets which worries me.My overall design criteria is:Very low power (must operate on coin cell)Vsupply = must stay alive below 2.2VI2C interfaceWakeup on movement interruptNeeds to be physically very smallLow costI may be willing to change to a different / more recent part if there is a compelling reason (such as stock shortages...)

Is there a way to use the HAL library to read the variable specified in the address?
