Hello everyone,I am quite well set up on my project using an STM32F469I-Disco and TouchGFX. Everything is working very well. However, I would like to display data using a dynamic graph. If I choose a mode different from the Scroll mode, everything is updating very well. But when the dynamic graph is in scroll mode it is lagging quite a bit (~1fps) and the touch is almost not responding. How can I improve the performance in my project?Thank you everyone !

In the data sheet and reference manual of STM32L073, LCD_VLCD1 is 42pin and LCD_VLCD2 is 37pin, but in STM32CubeMX, the instructions are reversed.Also, at 1/3 bias, the reference manual is supposed to use LCD_VLCD1 and LCD_VLCD2, but STM32CubeMX will now use LCD_VLCD2 and LCD_VLCD3.Which is correct, the data sheet and reference manual or the STM32CubeMX 6.1.0?

Hello,I am trying to use USB-HS DMA in my program... It works good with other endpoints except EP0For EP0, the enumeration phase is done successfully, But when I start sending my USB class specific messages one after the other continuously on EP0, after some successful transmissions, it suddenly gets stuck and EP0 Nack status is set ... I also check that DMA address be 4byte-alignNote that there is no problem when DMA is disabledWhat could be the probable mistake?Thanks in advnace

Hi,I have got confused in knowing how to actually register a User call back function for Transfer complete event in UART. I am using DMA. To give an idea on what I am doing, below re the lines that I have added in my code.void TxComplete_Callback(struct __UART_HandleTypeDef *huart); //declaration of user callback fun   huart1.TxCpltCallback = TxComplete_Callback; // assigning it to transfer complete event callback of the uart instance   void TxComplete_Callback(struct __UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) {   } // function definition which is currently not fullMy question is whether the argument for the callback function has to be compulsorily (struct __UART_HandleTypeDef *huart)? because in UART_DMATransmitCplt() function it knows that the event received is DMA Transfer Complete and so it checks if huart->TxCpltCallback is populated or else it executes the weak function as can be see below#if (USE_HAL_UART_REGISTER_CALLBACKS == 1) /*Call registered Tx complete callback*/ h

Hello,I have ran two examples of Zigbee applications on Nucleo STM32WB.One with end device device type and the other one with router device type (both with FFD stack).I have registered the node on my existing Zigbee network.I can see that the device type of the node is changing but when I look at the code, I could not find any difference (in app_zigbee.c).Can you point at to me where the device type is set in the code?Thank you for your answer,Best regards,LéoPS: is there a complete documentation of the API/stack available where I can find that kind of information?

I've never noticed this problem before. I am using v9.3.0 which has always worked previously, I have not knowingly changed anything. I have tried running as administrator, tried at home and work. Is there anything else I can try?

I just opened up my brand new STM32F407G board, checked that JP1 was on and Both CN3 jumpers were on, and plugged it into a USB port and nothing happens. No lights, no nothin.can someone help.

Hi, I want to make a bridge between 2 CAN BUSes with STM32F4. I am trying to listen of interrupts of both CAN on HAL_CAN_RxFifo0MsgPendingCallback and receive a message and send it to another CAN, but it seems that I only receive CAN1 interrupt. CAN2 does not trigger interupt.I use same filter configurations for both BUSes://hcan - CAN1 and CAN2   CAN_FilterTypeDef sFilterConfig; sFilterConfig.FilterBank = 0; sFilterConfig.FilterMode = CAN_FILTERMODE_IDMASK; sFilterConfig.FilterScale = CAN_FILTERSCALE_32BIT; sFilterConfig.FilterIdHigh = 0x0000; sFilterConfig.FilterIdLow = 0x0000; sFilterConfig.FilterMaskIdHigh = 0x0000; sFilterConfig.FilterMaskIdLow = 0x0000; sFilterConfig.FilterFIFOAssignment = CAN_RX_FIFO0; sFilterConfig.FilterActivation = ENABLE; sFilterConfig.SlaveStartFilterBank = 14;   if (HAL_CAN_ConfigFilter(hcan, &sFilterConfig) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } if (HAL_CAN_Start(hcan) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } if (HAL_CAN_ActivateNotif

Is it possible to use ST25R3916 capacitive wake-up outdoors? The reading area can be wet, frozen or snow covered.

I have a problem with operating the traffic light from the class method - every time the program crashes at that point.Here is a simplified example for understanding what I'm writing about:Class:class IO_control { int num;   public: osSemaphoreId semaphoreHandle; int *outputs; IO_control(int num,int outputs,osSemaphoreId semaphoreHandle); virtual ~IO_control();   void SetOutputs(); void UnsetOutputs(); };     /***********************************************/     IO_control::IO_control(int num, int *outputs,osSemaphoreId semaphoreHandle) { this->num = num; this->outputs = outputs; this->semaphoreHandle = semaphoreHandle; }   IO_control::~IO_control(){}   void IO_control::SetOutputs() { osSemaphoreWait(semaphoreHandle, osWaitForever); *outputs |= num; osSemaphoreRelease(semaphoreHandle); }   void IO_control::UnsetOutputs() { osSemaphoreWait(semaphoreHandle, osWaitForever); *outputs &= ~(num); osSemaphoreRelease(sem

Hello,I have a board that use STM32F072C8T6TR reference. After severel weeks of normal use, the STM32 on some boards are not responding anymore. I tried to access the STM32 with STlink Probe, ore by using internal Bootlaoder, without success. After investigations, I can see that the NRST pin (which is internally pulled up, and not connected to any other component on my board) never goes high, and thus I suspect that the MCU is dead. The STM32 only use some GPIOs for SPI communication with components that share the same VDD Power supply.The only idea I have, is that the VDDDIO2 that power the USB PHY and some GPIOs is only powered when a USB cable is connected to my board. I understood in the datasheet that the VDD and VDDIO2 domais are completly independant, and thus the VDDIO2 can be shut off even if the STM32 is running. Is it correct ? If not, could it explain the behaviour I have ?Thanks,

Hello,All I / Os are CMOS and TTL compliant (no software configuration required).For example, as shown in the attached document, the VOH in Table 57 has a different Min value depending on whether it is a CMOS port(a side) or a TTL port(b side).When and which one should I choose?Goto

I am newbie getting lost in the HAL functions/features to use. I use STM32CubeMx to generate the code and use Keil uvision5 for development. I use STM32G071 Nucleo-64 development kit.  I wish to measure a ‘start’ pulse of a proprietary protocol. The pulse, if low for 55 microseconds is considered start pulse.A port pin has been configured as input. Idea is to poll the line and when a low level is detected, measure the time for how long pulse remains low.I have used timer 3 with no prescalar, in up counting mode. The ARR count is 3520@64MHz. So far, I have not used any interrupt.After a low level is detected, the timer is started byHAL_TIM_Base_Start(&htim3);As a next step, I wish to poll the UIF flag to check whether the time has elapsed.I do not know which HAL function or what should I use to check the status of the flag.Once detected I will need to clear it as well

abbreviations are extremely poorly described throughout the documentation. you have to turn on the fortune-teller mode to understand what is happening. in particular, the UG bit has not been "reliably" deciphered. all documentation is "raw" and made for formality, obviously not for ease of use.

Hi, I am trying to communicate on CAN BUS, I have previously succeeded in doing so with STM32F103C8 and STM32F091RC, but I cant make it work on STM32F407VET It does not trigger its interrupt on message receive. What could be the difference on this MCU? Do I need to enable something different?MCU clock 168Mhz, APB1 42Mhz, CAN BUS speed is 100000bit/s, enabled "CAN1 RX0 interrupts" in NVIC, code:hcan1.Instance = CAN1; hcan1.Init.Prescaler = 28; hcan1.Init.Mode = CAN_MODE_NORMAL; hcan1.Init.SyncJumpWidth = CAN_SJW_1TQ; hcan1.Init.TimeSeg1 = CAN_BS1_12TQ; hcan1.Init.TimeSeg2 = CAN_BS2_2TQ; hcan1.Init.TimeTriggeredMode = DISABLE; hcan1.Init.AutoBusOff = ENABLE; hcan1.Init.AutoWakeUp = DISABLE; hcan1.Init.AutoRetransmission = DISABLE; hcan1.Init.ReceiveFifoLocked = DISABLE; hcan1.Init.TransmitFifoPriority = DISABLE; if (HAL_CAN_Init(&hcan1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }   CAN_FilterTypeDef sFilterConfig; sFilterConfig.FilterBank = 0; sFilterConfig.FilterMode = CAN_FILTERMODE_IDMA

I am trying to configure the ADC of STM32L476RGTx to scan three channels, but STM32CubeMX only shows Disabled as an option to select for Scan Conversion Mode. I have also tried this with STM32L471VETx and the same problem exists.Am I missing a prerequisite setting that needs to be enabled before Scan Conversion Mode can be enabled, or is this a problem with the device definition?

Hi,have a question, i don't understand the difference in holding register from low register (address 0) and high register(address 1). I used QmodBus 0.2.1 and if i set degree in low register i have no problem.. But in a High register if set a value >0 the motor start with casual rpm..Second question, i want generate the FW binary.. i Used MCworkbench and set in speed mode. Push on Generate but i have no binary but only the project. Can you help me pls?Thx

As we are using CAN 2.0 A (11 bit ID STANDARD FORMAT) in STM32L431RBTx MCU & it is working fine. Now we want to go for the CAN open protocol. Is there any sample code or document available or any algorithm to initiate CAN open code development for STM32L431RBTx MCU.

For PWM channels to be disabled during a trip instant we use the break input circuit and the function worked well in the Nucleo board. But while using the same in the real circuit having half-bridge, cross conduction occurs every time the break input gets active.we observed that the complementary waveform degrades to zero instead of immediately being pulled down to zeroIs there any option to use the break as an interrupt?Is there any other option to force the output and its complementary channel to zero while using the break functionality?

I have an intermittent issue with a USB composite device on STM32F745 where an endpoint is failing to send data back to the PC and then the PC resets the connection.I've applied the interrupt disabling from https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009XkhXw/usb-cdc-device-receive-fails-on-transmit and that did improve things somewhat, however it isn't fixed.My code is derived from ST's example codes.In normal operation, the MSC is queried by the PC periodically with a "Test Unit Ready" command. The CDC is in full flow at about 150 useful data packets per second.After a random time period (between a few minutes and multiple hours) the USB send function is unable to add data to the IN FIFO.This line fails:  if ( ((USBx_INEP(ep)->DIEPCTL & USB_OTG_DIEPCTL_EPENA) == 0)        && ((USBx_INEP(ep)->DTXFSTS & USB_OTG_DTXFSTS_INEPTFSAV) >= len32b) ) {because EPENA is set.My code was previously just ignoring this an

I'm running into the Cortex M7 r0p0, r0p1 bug where single-stepping is impossible due to the processor handling an interrupt instead.i.e.http://www.keil.com/support/docs/3778.htmI'm using OpenOCD and it is reporting:Warn : Silicon bug: single stepping will enter pending exception handler!As per title, this is with an STM32F746Z on a Nucleo 144 which has the bug. STM32F769N worked as expected.Are there any plans from ST to release a fixed ARM core in the 746 or 745?regardsJames

I'm trying to understand the span of accuracy I can achieve in terms of movement detection, in different Lis2dw12 setups.From my understanding, the LIS samples the axis acceleration values once every ODR (so if ODR corresponds to 1.6HZ, once every ~0.6 seconds. If ODR corresponds to 12.5Hz, once every 0.08 seconds etc), and if the threshold is exceeded for a set duration, the interrupt is asserted. We set the wake_up_dur to 0x00, so that should mean- wake up on a single sample over the threshold.How much time can I expect between the movement starting (assuming its starting past the movement threshold) and when a logical '1' can be measured on the interrupt lines?Thanks!

We are sorry to announce that the refresh data feature is temporarily unavailable for STM32CubeMX, STM32CubeIDE and STMCUFinder. We are working on a solution for this issue. Please note that the FW download stay available. RegardsNawres
