The ADC in stm32cubemx will throw a warning in All three ADC's while using a USB_OTG_HS. No matter what i try the error won't go away? Has anyone experienced this?? Will it cause any trouble in functioning of ADC?

As i am new to building my own Microcontroller shield , i want some help ! I want to achieve a high speed USB connection with PC to transfer data from micro controller to PC . Now Do i need a external peripheral with the micro to get the HS connection? HS connection seems to have a lot of pins. The micro controller i am using is STM32H755BIT3 ! Thanks

Hello!I using X-CUBE NFC-6 library on X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1 board in Card Emulation mode and writing on "tag" (board) 300 bytes of data and it causes hard fault during next read or write "tag". I think it's a bug in library, can you help me with that problem?Best regards, Vladimir

Hello,I want to integrate my STM32F746 discovery board in his final destination, to do this I am researching a way to put the board into a enclosure.I know that I could create my own box with 3D conception but I'm not very good with this kind of conception...Does anybody have already integrate an STM32F746 discovery board into an enclosure ? There is specific enclosure on sale for the board on the web?I've found nothing on internet about these questions...Thanks for you help,PS: Sorry for my bad English

Hello, I was trying to set option bytes (BOR) with the ST-Link CLI (v3.6.0.0) for STM32G431, but it prompts that this feature is not available. With the ST-LINK Utility (v4.6.0.0) it is possible to set the BOR Level.I guess the ST-Link CLI is no longer maintained and you have to switch to the new one (Cube Programmer CLI), is that correct?Thank you for your information!

What is happening on vibration data output in time-domain if the low pass filter (LPF2) of iis3dwb was set to 1333 Hz? Does the vibration data output in time-domain cannot show any vibration data of 6.3 kHz frequency? Please advise. Thanks!

I have a NUCLEO-F207ZG board and STM32CubeProgrammer v2.7.0. I would like to use the embedded bootloader located in system memory. So, first I activate bootloader mode pulling-up pin 138 (boot0) of the MCU. Then, in order to verify this first operation, I connect NUCLEO-F207ZG board to STM32CubeProgrammer via ST-LINK/V2-1 interface. The board connect succesfully and if I browse in the MCU Core menu I can see the Program Counter value is in the system memory range address. My next step is to disconnect NUCLEO-F207ZG board from the STM32CubeProgrammer and to select the UART interface (configuration is shown in the attached image) . When I click the Connect button, I get the following message error (see also the attached image):Error: Activating device: KO. Please, verify the boot mode configuration and check the serial port configuration. Reset your device then try again...I tried resetting the board, but it didn't solve the problem. Could you tell me please how to solve this proble

Does somebody know whats the schedule for Porting Azure RTOS (Specially ThreadX) to cortex M4 family?

HelloA new version 1.2.0 of STM32CubeMonitor has been released on www.st.com.The new version integrates some fixes and updates to address some points raised by users and keep the tool up to date. The detailed change list is described in the release note, but I would like to list few ones :New version of node-Red is used : UI has been improved, there is a possibility to see the nodes in a tree view. When a flow is imported, if some nodes are already present, user is warned and user can decide to replace the nodes or not.The problem to load some symbol files from c++ projects is fixed. Copy paste is working on macOS STM32cubeMonitor is compatible with the new mac with M1 processors. The minimum dashboard size is reduced, so user can see small windows while doing other activity on the computer (debugging, …)The single value sub flow has been slightly improved to prevent mistake. The improved version has blue color , like other ST nodes. To update the tool, you just need to download

Hi, I'm trying to use CubeMonitor to access public variables of a base class, and CubeMonitor doesn't see them. The general structure I have is:class Base { public: int var_1; int var_2;}class Derived: public Base { public: int var_3; int var_4;}When I load the corresponding *.elf file into CubeMonitor....I can see:instanceDerived.var_3,instanceDerived.var_4but I can't see:instanceDerived.var_1,instanceDerived.var_2I expect that "public" variables in the base class should be "public" variables in the derived class. Why can't I see them? Is there something I'm doing wrong? Best,Nat

The same board was created based on the stm32f469i_Discovery board. The stm32f469i_Discovery board operates st-link/v2 using the stm32f103.Please let me know if you know which program to put in the stm32f103 and how to put it in order to operate the st-link/v2.

I have a project with LIS2DH accelerometer and I want to measure values each 20 seconds, turning LIS2DH off between measurements. So, I tried to turn power on, wait 5ms, write 0x10 to CTRL_REG3 (turn on DRDY on INT1), then 0x1F to CTRL_REG1.Then I wait for pulse in INT1 (and getting it almost immediately) and read data from OUT_X_L to OUT_Z_H. But - all data is zeroes. Writing registers in different direction, i.e. from REG1 to REG6 gives same result.Datasheet for LIS2DH gives no information about how DRDY works (and, for example, which is minimum time allowed between two SPI reads/writes, but I read in datasheet for LIS2DH12 (newer accelerometer), that "In order to be sure to have the first DRDY rising edge synchronous with the selected ODR (avoid condition in Figure 2: "DRDY signal synchronization") set the I1_ ZYXDA bit to ‘1’ before enabling the ODR."No luck. Can you give me an advice how to read valid data from LIS2DH in a minimum time from powering it up?Thank you in advance!

I am looking for STM32F072RB part no but currently it is out of stock and not available anywhere. Can somebody provide alternative part no which is available easily. Please share the source details .Any help would be helpful. Thank you.

Hi all,I'm currently working on a STM32H743. The idea is to use a SAI peripherals to read an Audio stream:The SAI is set to be a Master receive with a circular buffer and a DMAThe issue is that as soon as the HAL_SAI_Receive_DMA is called, then the code enters into the error callback HAL_SAI_ErrorCallback with an error of type HAL_SAI_ERROR_DMA, HAL_DMA_ERROR_TE.The SAI clock is set at 4 MHzI tried the HAL_SAI_Receive without DMA and all works fine.So for sure i'm doing something wrong with the DMA configuration . static uint8_t buf_rx[2] = { 0, 0 };   int main(void) { HAL_Init();   SystemClock_Config();   PeriphCommonClock_Config();   MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_DMA_Init(); MX_SAI2_Init();   HAL_SAI_Receive_DMA(&hsai_BlockA2, buf_rx, 2);   while (1) { HAL_Delay(1); } }static void MX_SAI2_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN SAI2_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END SAI2_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE BEGIN SAI2_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END SAI2_Init

I need to take 10 samples (10 Hz) per second. How can I set ADC configurations on CubeMX. I use the lowest sampling time (2.5 cycles), but the values I convert and use in ADC change very quickly. Thanks for helps.

Hi. The only example of software that drives the ST25R3911B's capacitive sensor function I've found is the Discovery GUI. But there's evidently no source code available for the GUI. Is there any available code demonstrating the capacitive sensor Wake-up, configuration and/or use? I want to vary the capacitance measurement gain and have no idea how to begin.

I was working with the two ANT-1-6-ST25DV boards. But I could not find the schematics of these boards. Does any one have it??

Hello,I'm trying to use the VL53L1X on my nRF52DK, but I experience some problems.Previously, I've successfully used the VL53L1X with an Arduino UNO using the pololu Arduino library (link below). For my project I need to use this sensor on the nRF52, so I've rewritten the vl53l1_platform.cpp and main .ino code to C (the other files are from ST's VL53L1 API, which are already in C).When the sensor is not connected, the nRF52 is writing the correct data to the SCL and SDA lines, but if I connect the sensor, these lines give incorrect data. Instead of sending to address 0x29, it sends to address 0x7F or 0x00. And instead of sending the data 0x01 and 0x0F, it sends 0xFF and 0xFF (or 0x00 and 0x00).I have correctly connected and initialized the INT and XSHUT lines.I'm not sure what the problem can be, because it worked with the Arduino UNO, but not with the nRF52 (even though the I2C is working correctly without the sensor). My setup:nrf52DKVL53L1X Time of Flight sensorLogic analyser to read

I apologize in advance as the question is really a basic and obvious one ... My custom board is using an STM32MP151 SoC.Is it possible to re-write programmed OTP bits (namely, OTP Word 3 for boot modes). My feeling is that, this is not possible (One Time Programming). A complementary question: I try to do a soft selection of the boot source (instead of dealing with hardware pins), so I thought about fusing the OTP word so that it'd start from SPI NAND by default, then force the Serial boot using the TAMP backup register 20 if needed.Does it makes sense ?Thanks,Jacques

Hi everyone!Quick question: this is my platform.STM32F4 main controllerexternal QSPI flashI'm currently using FreeRTOS with TouchGFX so the external flash stores the graphical resources. In case I run out of memory, could I run some of the code (the "excess" code) in external memory by modifying the linker file appropriately? Obviously I'll have performance issues because I would have to fetch code from the QSPI, but would it be feasible in a theoretical way at least? Many thanks to all! :)

I am using a custom board with STM32F4 micro and I want to use the Cube libraries. I need a simple example of application of a USB Device configured as Custom HID. I need to know not only how to configure the USB, but also how to transmit data to the PC. On the PC I have a working custom driver software. I really don't know where to start.... Thank you very much.
