Hello.I am using SPC5Studio and UDE 5.2 to program and debug my SPC58. The whole process is pretty annoying. After having SPC5Studio compile, I have to wait for UDE to notice the new binary, wait for the new window to open, clock program, wait again, click close, and click run application? Is there a better way to do that, like a plugin that creates a new button in SPC5Studio that does all of the above automaticially? After writing some code, hit compile, and then either program oder debug? Why isn't something like that integrated into SPC5Studio in the first place? Thanks & best regards

Hi all,I wish to perform PWM for certain leds connected to STM32MP1 pins.I wish to do it from the user space application. I got it working via sysfs interface , but I am more interested in controlling it via a user space application based on some logic. How can I do this ? Is there API documentation for it?TIA

Hello guys, how are u? Hope you're all fine =)I had my application developed using V.10.1 version firmware pack . It was requested to me to update firmware to use V1.11.1 firmware pack. As i upgraded, several things messed up, including CustomHID. Here's what is happening:In CUSTOM_HID_OutEvent_FS function, my device acknowlegde the received package using USBD_CUSTOM_HID_SendReport. This was working perfectly with V1.10.1. Now that i upgraded, my whole USB comm gets messed up after the first sent ACK. After the first sent package, my application can't received neither send data via USB . If i remove the ACK send, i'm able to continuous receiving data. What i noticed after updating:PCB and USB LL libraries got changed. After plenty debugging, i notice that this specific function was messing all up: PCD_EP_ISR_Handler. This function changed from V1.10.1 update to V1.11.1. I studied this function and USB code flow and discovered a change that made my USB comm back to work. This are the las

Hi, I want to display bootup animation in our project. I used Animated Image widget to display continues images to get the animation. since we need to use many images to get proper animation, the flash storage size is increased heavily. To overcome the size issue, is there any way to play video using touchgfx designer. Thanks and Regards,Bala

Hi all,I'm trying to use flexbutton having three layers (text, image, box with borders).Everything looks fine on the designer (4.17.0) but when i flash the target device (stm32h735disco) the images aren't shown. This happens flashing both from designer 4.17.0 or IDE 1.6.1Any advice ?Thanks!

Sample usage:I want to have different settings when working in hardware vs working on simulator

Hello everyone,I am currently working on a project with GUI. Some time ago, I was able to launch a project from the forum:https://github.com/Scubaboy/SMT32F7LCDDisco/tree/master/STMF4DISCOCubeIDEI currently have the latest versions of CubeIDE, CubeMX and TouchGFX 4.13 installed. I'm trying to configure F469DISCO similar to the following:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o42r4xXOnboThe project is generated, TGFX files also. However, after uploading everything to the board, the screen is black. Can ST not provide one, ready CUBE IDE project for each Dev board? I see how many people have a configuration problem, many people do not work properly. When a team choosing a platform for a new project, most of the time loses to "fight" with IDE and configuration, they will finally choose a different solution. After that, the example of TouchGFX from CubeIDE, after importing to workspace, compiles correctly, but displays artifacts ....Of course, examples from TGFX Designer work fine, but without prop

Hello,STM32Cube FW_L4 V1.17.0When changing the timebase of the systick, the HAL_Init() function no longer returns and it goes off to system memory in a loop.To replicate, start a new project with for the NUCLEO-L4R5ZI, initialise all pins to the default state, and just change the "Timebase source" to TIM6 (also tried TIM7). Execution does not get past HAL_Init().Am I missing something with this?Thank you

Hello ST Teams! We're testing another one stm32MP1 custom board (battery powered), and i've issue with poweroff command line function:Each time i use this function, board is rebooting instead of poweroffing (...)With these info from tfa:INFO:   Reset reason (0x814):INFO:     Pad Reset from NRSTI've see a similar post on ST Forum, but it doesn't help me!We are using a STM32MP1 from your Octavo partner, and i will post on their forum too.Octavo have encapslulated STM32MP1+PMIC+DDR on a single chip, so PMIC should be correctly wired. We have a PONKEY wired on the board, witch works perfectly, i can shutdown and wakeup by an action on "power" button.I've tried lot of distribution configuration, looked at PMIC internal registry, but i've no hints on what cause this.I've tried to use a "generic" Octavo Distribution (BRK one), stopped booting at uboot, to avoid unnecessary software issue, but i've the same behaviour.I'm feeling that there is an hardware i

Hello All,I am using stm32g030f6 mcu.I have done this project before with stm32f0 mcu and now i am porting it to stm32g0 mcu.flash size of each is 32kB.The project is filling up all the processor's memory. So I used option bytes to keep some values in memory with stm32f0 mcu.2 bytes is needed to store only.I want to do the same with this stm32g0 mcu.But I cant find the user option byes in the option bytes.I found the option bytes but I don't have info about where is user option byte that doesn't effect operation of the processor.I know how to write and read to option bytes.Or if you know another locatiıon to store 2 bytes except flash memory it would be also helpfull. Thanks.Regards.EMRE

Hi! I’m using the ‎LSM6DSLTR‎, and really just need to trigger an interrupt whenever the device rotates at a speed greater or equal to a given threshold. Do I need to set up any FIFO data, or is there a way to only generate an interrupt based on a rotation threshold? I’ve set the gyro to a full scale selection of +/- 500 dps assuming this would be the threshold setting? (CTRL2_G register)Curious if anyone else has used this chip to detect a threshold event in a rotation axis?

Hi there! Is there a way to permanently disable the resolve clock issues feature of STM32CubeIDE-1.7.0? I've tried saying "No" and remember my options, but the interface just completely ignores me and does it anyway. It's utterly infuriating. Is there a preferences option somewhere I can set?Is there a setting somewhere to disable this feature? It's frustrating as it keeps trashing my settings before I can fix them manually. As it stands, it basically makes the .ioc view editor unusable. Since sometimes it just gets stuck updating clock frequencies even when you explicitly ask it not to, and it can very quickly ruin a configuration.Regards,Luke

I am trying to build custom boards using LSM9DS1, I shot through the data sheet, but the information on these two pins is not clear enough? What is the purpose of these pins(DRDY_M & DEN_A/G)?

I need to confirm what the ODR represents - the default ODR is 26667Hz. But what is the actual internal sample rate pre anti-aliasing filter (which must be implemented internally)?Assuming the actual Fsample is at least 26667, then ODR simply represents the output data rate with respect to additional bandwidth filtering - correct? To calculate the data parameters for implementation of an FFT, which figure do I use - 26667 or ODR? For example:Is Delta-F (spectral resolution) = 26667 / N pts always, regardless of ODR?Similarly, is sample period (Ts) = 1/26667 always, regardless of ODR?

Dear ST community, I am new developing firmware for stm32s. I am trying to enable the interrupt for RTC wakeup for a nucleoL476RG board using STM32CubeIDE 1.7.0 (which is using STM32CubeMX 6.3.0-RC5). I am selecting WakeUp: Internal WakeUp. I am also enabling RTC wake-up interrupt through EXTI line 20 and selecting Generate IRQ handler and Call HAL handler. However, the  HAL_RTCEx_SetWakeUpTimer_IT call is not been created in MX_RTC_Init. Interestingly,  the alternate HAL_RTCEx_SetWakeUpTimer does get generated if I select Internal WakeUp but without enabling the interrupt.Am I missing something in my configuration or is there a bug in STM32Cube? Help would be appreciated!
