I'm trying to do a simple read/write on the MT25TL01G flash that's present on the STM32H757I-EVAL evaluation board. However, when I'm using BSP_QSPI_Read, I'm missing the first 6 bytes of data. Reading via memory mapped mode works as expected.Here's my initialization code. The QSPI clock should be running at 200MHz, according to CubeMX. /* QUADSPI parameter configuration*/ hqspi.Instance = QUADSPI; hqspi.Init.ClockPrescaler = 3; hqspi.Init.FifoThreshold = 1; hqspi.Init.SampleShifting = QSPI_SAMPLE_SHIFTING_NONE; hqspi.Init.FlashSize = 26; hqspi.Init.ChipSelectHighTime = QSPI_CS_HIGH_TIME_4_CYCLE; hqspi.Init.ClockMode = QSPI_CLOCK_MODE_0; hqspi.Init.DualFlash = QSPI_DUALFLASH_ENABLE; if (HAL_QSPI_Init(&hqspi) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } /* USER CODE BEGIN QUADSPI_Init 2 */   BSP_QSPI_DeInit(0);   BSP_QSPI_Init_t init ; init.InterfaceMode = MT25TL01G_QPI_MODE; init.TransferRate = MT25TL01G_DTR_TRANSFER; init.DualFlashMode = MT25TL01G_DUALFLASH_ENABLE;

Hi folks,STM32CubeIde /eclipse comes with a code style checker. I just ran it. The default settings do not cover ST's code style. Is it possible to get a config file so CubeIde automatically checks for STM32s coding guidelines? Is ST development team using any code style checker? Thanks

I used motor profiler .Saved the paramters and then while using the examples Imported those paramters.I used following as user code in main.c in while(1): if( MCI_GetSTMState() == RUN ) {   MCI_ExecSpeedRamp(MCI_EXECSPEEDRAMP,1000,2000);  MCI_StartMotor(MCI_EXECSPEEDRAMP); } else; MCI_StopMotor()How to start motor with user code in example from MC WB?

Hello, Selecting the NUCLEO WL55JC2 board, then initialized with the peripherals.Enabled both SUBGHZ and SUBGHZ_PHY mode.(in older SUBGHZ_Phy_PingPong stm32cubewl software there was predefined RF SW CTRL pins and other board resources)How can i define RF SW CTRL in SUBGHZ_PHY Platform settings in new template without depending on SUBGHZ_Phy_PingPong ioc template file?

Can someone confirm us that the board as advertised here https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/steval-mki092v2.html#overview, includes soldered pins as shown for the board on the figure in attachment? We need this confirmation before buying the boards, since we require them to be immediately ready to use on a breadboard, without any additional soldering required from our side. Thanks!Kind regards,Mathias

Hello.I've tried to test sdcard with fatfs on STM32F103RCT6.I don't have a compleat 100% sure hardware or software, so I'm struggling to debug if its a software or hardware issue.I've read trough some topics hear, one with issue with https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009XkWceSAF/stm32f411re-stm32cube-fatfs-sdio-sdcard-always-returns-frdiskerrI tried to set DMA along the link, but SDIO_RX and SDIO_TX were not found. Also, I couldn't find the 'Use dma template' item in FATFS settings.I've generated the code from Stm32CubeIDE, and added a custom code:int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ FRESULT res; /* FatFs function common result code */ /* USER CODE END 1 */   /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/   /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init();   /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */   /* USER CODE END Init */   /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Co

Hello,I’m a student at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and am using one of your products for my team’s senior design project. The goal of the project is to develop accurate activity recognition (standing, sitting, walking, etc.) and relative position (dead reckoning) algorithms that can be implemented on a single sensor package. Our selected parts are below - corresponding development/breakout boards were purchased for all parts.ST LSM6DSOX (6-axis IMU)Bosch BMI270 (6-axis IMU)Kionix KX132-1211 (3-axis accelerometer)SAM R34 Xplained PRO (MCU)I found a Git Repository with driver and example files for the LSM6DSOX. Other than this repo, are there other code bases or resources available for this device? Additionally, what are the best practices for using this device, especially with regards to eliminating noise, determining accurate position, and activity recognition?

Hi,I'd like to know what is the difference between the icon of the button and the image of the button. What is the difference? they seem to do exactly the same thing...thank you

When I measured the temperature and himidity using Arduino board and the HTS221 sensor, the temperature was 16 degrees and the relative humidity was about 55%. However, when I measured the thermometer, it measured about 23 degrees, and I want to know why there is such a difference.Do I need to calibrate the HTS221 sensor before driving it?The HTS221 library in Arduino was used.If there is a reason, please explain.

How to calculate capacitor value for 32.768 kHz cystal (RTC for STM32F030R8T6)

Hi,I’m trying to implement OTA using the example software and hardware below. But it seems very unreliable.STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.7.0\Projects\P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo\Applications\BLEBLE_OtaBLE_p2pServer_otaCompiled with IAR  for ARM 8.50STM32CubeProgrammer API v2.4.0STM32CubeMonitor-RF Version 2.5.0STM32WB55 Nucleo PackNucleo board PNWB55$CU3USB DongleI programmed BLE_Ota.out and BLE_p2pServer_ota.out into the P-NUCLEO-WB55 using the STM32CubeProgrammer and verified the green LED is flashing indicating RF messages.I then used the STM32CubeMonitor-RF with the USB dongle and Nucleo board about 5 cm apart. And then I tried to perform an OTA update. I found mostly it worked, but sometimes it failed. When it failed, the flash memory at 0x08007000 was all FFs (which is where the new application should be located). I added a break point to BLE_Ota and verified this was due to an invalid magic number (0x94448A29).When you create a build the address of the last word in your image is stored a

Hi,I'm trying to calibrate my RTC by writing on the RTCCR register on an STM32F103 MCU. However, it seems like this is not taken into account as the 512Hz signal is still slightly out.I'm using the following code:PWR-> CR |= PWR_CR_DBP; // Allow access to the Backup areaBKP-> RTCCR = 120; // calibrate RTCAFIO->EVCR =0xAD; //PC13-calibration clock output enableBKP->RTCCR &= ~BKP_RTCCR_ASOE;BKP->RTCCR &= ~BKP_RTCCR_ASOS;BKP->RTCCR |= BKP_RTCCR_CCO; //Setting this bit outputs thePWR-> CR &=~ PWR_CR_DBP; // deny access to the Backup areaI'm using the MBED framework so I was wondering if something was messing with the RTC but I tried with STM32CubeIDE with nothing activated and it's still not doing anything.Any idea? Am I missing something?Louis

Hello, does anybody know where to get a list of MCUs that are able to be updated over the air ? If there is not such a list, what features should I look for on the datasheet ?

Since I do not want to use MCSDK but embedd the motor control in my own firmware I would like to have a firmware example for EVALSTRDRIVE101. Unfortunately the firmware example from ST does not seem to be available at this link https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-drive101.htmlDo you have any idea where I can find a firmware example for this Board? Thanks for your support!

If I set the color of a box widget with setColor and the touchgfx::colortype is 0xFF494949, the color on the LCD is blue but not grey. This problem happens after the updates. The color value is produced by Color::getColorFromRGB() from the 3 base colors set to 0x49. As I understand from the description of getColorFromRGB, it should return a display specific value for the color? I have read that there was a change in the color functions. How can I correct set the color from the 3 RGB-Values (0..255)?

When preparing to set the option byte, it is found that the read protection setting is at level 1 and cannot be changed to level 0. Then, it cannot be applied when preparing to apply, as shown in figures 5

The pins with red boxes are supposed to be OUT pins as indicated on the datasheet. (see picture). However, the actual layout looks like the GROUND pins. I am not sure if i am seeing it right, someone pls help! Thank you.

After flashing the compiled binary the touchscreen in the demo is not responsive. The rest of the demo is working as expected.

I'm using the ST32F4 discovery board, and would glad if someone could explain the relationship between the PLLI2S Clock setup in CubeIDE and the actual I2S2_CK (PB10) to the mems mic.  I my case I use PLLN=192 and PLLR=3 giving 64MHz I2S Clocks. So my question is: how is the I2S2_CK on pin PB10 derived from the main 64 MHz I2S clocks? Is the 64 MHz I2S Clocks the same as the optional I2S2 Master Clock output on pin PC6.

To read the frequency I am using a timer to output frequency then I am reading the value using a frequence counter. I am using the stm32l083rz chip. I have a gate time of 32 seconds on my frequence counter.I am trying to compensate the drift due to the temperature of a 32.768kHz quartz.I have tried to use the hal function but I don't see any difference on my frequence counter.if (HAL_RTCEx_SetSmoothCalib(timeMgr.rtcHandle, RTC_SMOOTHCALIB_PERIOD_8SEC, RTC_SMOOTHCALIB_PLUSPULSES_SET, 0x00000FF ) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } I also tried to use the code exemple given in the STM32L0x3 REFERENCE MANUEL. But same result, the frequency doesn't seem to be recalibrated.Any thoughts ?The configuration I use to measure frequency. (TIM22 with LSE)

I want to use TIM1_CH1 to measure pulse width. TIM1 works under slave reset mode. The input trigger is TI1FP1. Ideally, TIM1 resets upon rising input, then TIM1_CH1 captures the falling edge. The CCR1 value would be the pulse width. The problem is that there is no option to set TriggerPolarity. In the code generated by cubeMX, TriggerPolarity is the same as ICPolarity. I manually set TriggerPolarity to RISING. The code compiles, but the measured pulse width does not seem right. I must have missed something here.sSlaveConfig.SlaveMode = TIM_SLAVEMODE_RESET; sSlaveConfig.InputTrigger = TIM_TS_TI1FP1; sSlaveConfig.TriggerPolarity = TIM_INPUTCHANNELPOLARITY_FALLING; sSlaveConfig.TriggerFilter = 0; if (HAL_TIM_SlaveConfigSynchro(&htim1, &sSlaveConfig) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } sMasterConfig.MasterOutputTrigger = TIM_TRGO_RESET; sMasterConfig.MasterSlaveMode = TIM_MASTERSLAVEMODE_DISABLE; if (HAL_TIMEx_MasterConfigSynchronization(&htim1, &sMasterConfig) != HAL

RM0090, SAI chapter:Each FIFO word contains one audio frame. This is incorrect. The correct formulation can be found e.g. in RM0410:Each FIFO word contains one audio slot. Thanks,JW

Hi. I'm trying to send a message to a non-existing slave via I2C on SPC58EE84E7.Is this possible?I get a NACK error message in response. Are there any examples of such an implementation?Thank you!

Hi ST community,we were unfortunate enough to get some magic smoke from an old Hitachi IDE hard drive. It was possible to identify that the 12V and GND rails are shorted together and it's because of a diode (at least it is labelled with a "D") which basically broke in half. The marking on the part is "ST GP717" - you can find a photograph attached.Does anybody have a datasheet or some information on this part? I was not able to find anything. The hard drive is from around 2007.Thanks!Dennis

Hi,I am working on a project that requires three SensorTiles (STEVAL-STLKT01V1). I am using Raspberry Pi 3B but I am open to use a different device if needed. I am a newbie and need guidance to learn how to do it. Where can I find instructions/documentation to work with multiple SensorTiles connected via bluetooth to the data receiver (RPi)?
