Hi!I use two I2C device on two different bus (I2C1 and I2C2) on a STM32G07B1 MCU.The two bus works very well, if I use only one in my code.But if I would like to use all of two, then it will go to HardFault from "__HAL_I2C_GET_FLAG".I use the polling functions in the code.I checked the signals with oscilloscope and logic analizator, too. The signal is very nice, no problem.In the logic analizator I see, that the first i2c device works fine until I would like to switch on the second device on the other bus. The second device sends NOTHING.This is my pinout:My I2C config: Do you have idea, what could I make?Thank you!Balazs

Hello GuysI'm using a157-EV1 board and my custom board.Both board have sd card slot and emmc. And possible of linux install to sd card and emmc.Anyway if built images using STM32_Programmer_CLI in Ubuntu environment can be install on the board according to Flashlayout_emmc.tsv, Similarly, when booting from a sd card, can i the built images be install in emmc according to Flashlayout_emmc.tsv using command? Among the results of complete Image build, if I look at create_sdcard_from_flashlayout.sh and FlashLayout_sdcard_stm32mp157.how_to_update.txt in the script directory, it seems possible with a command, but I don't know how to change and use that fit for emmc.I need a lot of help as I have no professional knowledge in BSP.How can I install Linux on EMMC using commands after booting from SD card?Thanks

In RM0440 R6 6.2.3 there is "Each of the four PVMx (x=1, 2)". So 4 or 2 PVM ?In the PWR_CR2 register 6.4.2:Bit 7 PVMEN2: Peripheral voltage monitoring 4 enableBit 6 PVMEN1: Peripheral voltage monitoring 3 enable=> PVMEN1 is for PVM1 or PVM3?=> Only 2 PWM specifiedIn the file stm32G431xx.h:There is bits définitions for 4 PVM.Example for PVM1:#define PWR_CR2_PVME1_Pos (4U) #define PWR_CR2_PVME1_Msk (0x1UL << PWR_CR2_PVME1_Pos) /*!< 0x00000010 */ #define PWR_CR2_PVME1 PWR_CR2_PVME1_Msk This define PVME1 (Not PVMEN1 as in the RF) as bit 4. The bit 4 is not specified in the RM.So my question: how many PVMs and what bits to use in PWR_CR2 ?

hello,i am trying i2c to communicate two stm32f103c8t6 . It is not working. logic analyzer output is shown in picture.what can be done for i2c to communicate two stm32f103c8t6 address 0x00

(Environment)MC_SDK 5.Y.3 + STM32CubeMX 6.3.0 + IAR EWARM 8.5(Hardware)NUCLEO-F446RE + X-NUCLEO-IHM08M1 + Low Voltage BLDC motor(What I found)By CubeMX, SysTick NVIC priority is configured as Priority Group=3bit+1bit, PreemptPriority=4, SubPriority=0At main(), HAL_Init() and SystemClock_Config() implement the above configuration, then I can read the same values for their registers.Right after the above code, however, MX_MotorControl_Init() calls HAL_SYSTICK_Config(), where SysTick priority is set to 15, PreemptPriority=7, SubPriority=1(Question)Is that a defect or am I doing something wrong in configuration & code generation?If a defect, is it good enough to add HAL_NVIC_SetPriority() for SysTick in MX_MotorContorl_Init()? Or removing NVIC_SetPriority() in SysTick_Config() would be better? SysTick initialization code looks a little messy.

I want to drive an RGB 222 screen using LTDC, however the only stm32 chip I found that support LTDC RGB222 mode is stm32l4p/stm32l4q series. I can not find the RGB 222 option in other chips(only RGB 888, RGB 565, ETC). Is stm32l4 the only series that support LTDC RGB 222 mode? Can I use the RGB888 mode to drive a RGB 222 screen? Is there any method to convert?

Assuming that the MCU has the Secure Services feature (Secure Boot), does the BOOT0 pin have any use? My understanding is that the application in the secure bootloader would decide its entry point rather than using the addresses specified by the BOOT0 pin.

Hi guys! I have a trouble about STMCubeIDE, I installed and created a project, Later, I received this two error ; c:\st\stm32cubeide_1.8.0\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.9-2020-q2-update.win32_2.0.0.202105311346\tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: cannot open linker script file C:\Users\B??nyamin Terzi\stm\mcu\001MCU\STM32F407VGTX_FLASH.ld: No such file or directorymake: *** [makefile:63: 001MCU.elf] Error 1If you can help me, I will be pleased.

I'm using the STM32F469I-DISCO board with TouchGFX. In portrait mode, I set the swipe threshold to 400 because I want the user to swipe almost all the way across the screen to switch pages. When I swipe slowly, it seems to work. However, a fast swipe changes pages with a swipe distance of only 1/2" or so. Is there a way to not make this speed-dependent?

I have a project on an STM32F4 that consists of a Bootloader and Main application. Both of these apps read an external Flash to retrieve configuration data. The Bootloader is looking to see if Main had previously uploaded new FW to the Flash and if so, it re-flashes the STM flash with the new application. It then modifies the flag in the external flash so we don't try to re-flash the STM flash again. At this point it then jumps to the Main application (whether it reflashed or not).The issue is that the Config data read during the bootloader is shown in the debugger correctly, but once the application jumps to the Main application and it reads the configuration data again, it shows as all zeros in the debugger. However, the code executes as if the configuration data is correct (all zeros is not valid so it would normally set them to valid values but it doesn't execute that code indicating that they were valid).Both of the Config structures end up in the same RAM location according to th

I've been using a Microchip I2C eeprom in a commercial product that uses an F730 for a bit over a year. I've been using the same code to flash hundreds of units and have never had any issues.I've opened up my project recently and got prompted for an update by STM32CubeIDE, after which I've migrated my project to the latest fw package. I don't know if my issue is related to the update or if it's simply a coincidence.My code now hangs during HAL_I2C_IsDeviceReady() and the I2C device never gets initialized and timeout eventually happens. I tried launching a new barebones project with just I2C configured and I get the same results. This is all I'm trying to do:while (HAL_I2C_IsDeviceReady(&hi2c1, 0xA0, 2, 100)!=HAL_OK);Here's the init code from Cube:/** * @brief I2C1 Initialization Function * @param None * @retval None */ static void MX_I2C1_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN I2C1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END I2C1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE BEGIN I2C1_Init 1 */ &nbs

I have a bunch of Blue Pill boards I'm re-animating (ye olde chippe shortage, y'know). Attacking them with stm32flash reports a flash size of 128 kBytes. On the other hand, 0x1FFFF7E0 contains 0x40, indicating 64 kBytes of flash.Now, which of these is correct? if it's the former, how can the code running on the board discover that fact?

I want to know if i open acc or gyro odr twice in diffrent time,how will mems work. (twice odr is the same)Question: Whether the MEMS will reset? Or if the last state is the same as now, nothing will be done?

I buy some chips marked STM32F446RCT6 which flash size should be 256KB.But when I connect it use STLINK, I found the real flash size is 512KB.I have save some data after the address 256KB successfully. And I can read out these data.Am I buy fake chips?

ie, what drove the choice of PA12, specifically ?Using PA12 means that you have to power-up the VDD_USB domain - which, I think, adds some extra current consumption. See:https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00001Fncm7SAB/stm32l072-vddusb-supply-current-for-pa11-pa12So why do that?

I want to send and receive data using DMA but HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA this function not sending any data returns HAL_BUSY error.while uart in interrupt mode both send & receive data works fine.how can i send data using DMA ?/* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body ****************************************************************************** * @attention * * Copyright (c) 2021 STMicroelectronics. * All rights reserved. * * This software is licensed under terms that can be found in the LICENSE file * in the root directory of this software component. * If no LICENSE file comes with this software, it is provided AS-IS. * ****************************************************************************** */ /* USER CODE END Header */ /* Includes ------------------------------------------------------------------*/ #include "main.h" #include "dma.h" #include "i2c.h

I don't find any options to change the font color for some files like linker scripts (for C/C++ Files it's ok). It's very difficult to read the file and i would like to use the dark theme.Same thing for not included code : Maybe one of you is aware of the STM32CUBEIDE font options possibilities ?

Hello everyone,I am developing a custom board with STM32L4 , and looking to include a "ready-to-use" BLE module, such as BlueNRG-2 series. I have in my possession X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 and tested it thoroughly. In a previous question ( https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00001DNzSVSA1/preloaded-firmware-of-bluenrgm2sp ) found out that BlueNRG-M2SP comes "empty" and need flashing with specific firmware before actual use. After searching, I ended up between BlueNRG-2N and BlueNRG-LP processors.Could you confirm that BlueNRG-2N doesnt need external flashing with firmware (or at least isnt necessary) and can work out of the box ? Is that also the case with BlueNRG-LP ?

HelloWe use the lps27hhw in our devices. When temperature is positive - all right. But when temperature is negative - the sensor sends the temperature less than it actually is (example -40* instead -20*). I put the appliance in the freezer, the temperature is -19*, and show data from the sensor via BLE app.0 byte - status reg1-3 bytes - pressure reg4-5 bytes - temperature regThe sensor send -38 degrees of celsius.After that I put the device in the oven, the temperature is +50*. All right.  What is the problem?
