I am using STM32L4S9AII6 MCU.I am exploring options to ensure that certain outputs are forced to a known safe state during power up. I want to be able to take advantage of the MCU's built in GPO pull-up and pull-down configuration features, but I am worried about the interval of time between when the MCU receives supply power at startup to when the MCU gets to initializing the GPO pins as pull-ups or pull-downs at the beginning of the program. If I configure a GPO pin as a pull-up or a pull-down, does that hardware configuration remain physically in place through the power cycle process?

Hi,I want an application where my device works both Broadcast Role and Observer Role, but y don't know if it is possible. My device shall send Non-connectable and non-scannable undirected events (Broadcaster beacons) and also receive them from other devices (Passive Scanning).I can use this two functionalities in the same BlueNRG-LP or I need two, one with Broadcaster Role and other for Observer Role? Thanks,Daniel

Hi everyone,I'm developing a device based on a STM32WB55 which has a USB interface. Using CubeMX I created a project with a Custom HID device, FreeRTOS + CMSIS v2.I need to send frames of a proprietary protocol which content usually don't exceed 64 bytes, but sometimes these frames could be up to 255 bytes. For some reason, I can only send interrupt reports (bulk is not possible), so I made a function that splits the frames into several 64 bytes packets and then send them successively. On the first try, I did it by blocking the CUSTOM_HID_SendReport() call with a while(USBD_BUSY == CUSTOM_HID_SendReport(...)); It works, but this is not a good way as the microcontroler ressources are blocked until the bus becomes USBD_OK.I then tried using a semaphore, so that I try to get the semaphore using osSemaporeAcquire() before calling CUSTOM_HID_SendReport().The problem I'm facing is that I can't find the best place in the USB Stack to release the Semaphore when the report has been sent, to unlo

CPU hangs when calling I2C_WaitOnFlagUntilTimeout because I2C DMA interrupt handler has higher priority than system handle, so that tickcount cannot hit the Timeout. How can I resolve this trouble without consuming too much CPU ? I saw some topics about STM32 I2C bug they reject that make I2C interrupted by others, so I wonder to know is it really okay when I set I2C RxTx interrupt with lower priority than system handle? I has freertos in my project.

hey thereI have set a pin in CubeMX as EXTI, namely PA1. the thing is when I use HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback(),for performing interrupt actions, it does not enter to HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback() but if I use EXTI0_1_IRQHandler() which is in stm32g0xx_it.c, it enters and works... why? whats the difference?another question is that does anyone have a library for RF remote controllers for stm32? any links or help are appreciated

On one side I have a slave MCU and other side smart phone. I have an nfc tag connected to slave MCU via I2C. Is there any way I can flash the software from smart phone to the slave MCU using NFC? Given I have some 500 Bytes EEPROM on the NFC tag.

Hi all,I'm using for evaluating purpose two NucleoL4 boards w/ X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1:the first one is running the standard firmware working w/ BlueNRG GUI 4.2.0 (v1.2e - DTM SPI v3.3.0). I setup this board as peripheral;the seconds one is running NimBLE stack on the NucleoL4 and DTM SPI basic firmware compiled w/ LL_ONLY option (in order to use HCI commands).Everything is working as expected: NimBLE is able to scan the peripheral / connect to it / execute pairing. The problem is that after bonding succeed, if I check bonded devices list (on the board running the peripheral role), this is always empty, as shown in the image. As result, if I try to reconnect w/ LTK key just exchanged I got pairing error due to encryption failed.Am I missing something? Similar question was already asked but no answer to the problemhttps://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009XkWrdSAF/bonding-problemThanks for the support.Alessandro Morniroli

Is there a reason why I'm not able to choose the NUCLEO-F303RE as my control board in the latest version of the motor control workbench ?

The title says it all. I can't find the info on any of the three documents i read (Datasheet/Api/ULD Api).Thank youMirco

Hi everyone,I'm implementing the USART Bootloader Protocol that is described in the AN3155 document and also using the AN2606 document to get all the information needed. As described in the section 4.6 (Programming Constraints) and in the Table 7 (see image attached) of AN2606, the memory alignment for STM32G03xxx/04xxx device should be 4 bytes but for some reason when I try to do the Write Memory command on the example memory address of 4 bytes alignment (0x08000014) the data is not getting written into that memory address. I even received back an ACK byte but when reading to that address to check if the data is there I see that the memory data has not changed. However, when I write data at the example memory address of 8 bytes alignment (0x08000010) I'm able to successfully write data to that address and confirm it by reading that address. I have double checked the product ID (0x466) by the running the GET ID command, also checked the bootloader version (0x31), I have tried write to

I am trying to create a simple guitar tuner using FFT but currently I am stuck at getting the correct ADC value. When I tried passing 10Hz sine wave into my MCU, this is what I got from CubeMonitor which looks fine to me. This is the graph from the value I got from IDE after pausing in debug which looks nothing like result from CubeMonitor. I am currently using the STM32F411E-DISCOVERY and my current ADC setting is as below I can't figure out where went wrong.I'm still new to MCU and stuff so any help is much appreciated :)

Hi ST,I am unable to establish UART communication between ST MotorPilot and STEVAL-SPIN3202.I am uploading one of the two STEVAL-SPIN3202 examples.Setting up 9600 baud rate (same as in Cube MX settings). Using correct COM port.Hardware setup: Power 24VDC connected.USB connected.J9: OPEN (BOOT0). (closing does not do any change)J7: OPEN.If I debug it:and resume,I observe green/red USB LEDs blinking.I am trying to connect with ST MotorPilot - result:  If I run it:it does not blink red/green USB LEDS and result is the same, no matter whether If close J9 or not and reset the MCU.Result is the same, : What am I doing wrong?Should I Run or Debug?Regards,Edward.

I am using the stm32h745-Discovery board.I am getting the data using the interrupt method and polling method but am not able to get the Data using the uart_receive_DMA. …What are the further configurations needed for the DMA and What else to do get in M7.Could you please help me out to get the data using the DMA.(HAL Function.).Thank you.

Dear community,I once again need your help. :)I'm using a TAS5760L on a custom board with STM32MP157 MPU and Yocto-Linux, Dunfell.Since the codec is not part of the available Linux kernel audio codecs, a simple spdif-codec (inux,spdif-dit) with I2S signal is used to send data to the TAS5760L.Audio is working quite well when playing wav-files with aplay. But I recognised, that the Frame Sync (FS, or LRCLK) is always at 48kHz, no matter what is configured in the device tree or in /etc/alsa.conf.Background:For aplay this doesn't matter much, but if audio is streamed via Bluetooth (at 44.1kHz) there is a difference in sample rates, which results in the following error:"An underrun has occurred". This error occurs cyclically about every 7 seconds and a glitch/stutter can be heard then in the audio.I use bluez-alsa (bluealsa/bluealsa-aplay) to send audio stream from for example a smartphone to the board. Here is some more information:Bluetooth module has CYW4343W chipset (same as the STM32MP

I want to use ST link to flash the firmware of on-board mcu on ST25RU3993-HPEV and read the tags. Please assist me in completing this task in STMCube IDE.

Using ST25RU3993 RFID with Rpi 4 and it work fine with STUHFL demo code. with debian linux Arm Cortex-A9, Is it compatible as I am getting only empty tags. please guide me.

In my application I want to use timer to turn on LED for around 300ms and simultaneously generate PWM signal of freq 2.7kHz (for buzzer) on PA10 pin. Is there any way I can achieve this?(NOTE: I have already used TIM2 and TIM21 timers. TIM21 is also running at the same time as I trun on LED and buzzer)No matter what configurations I set on channel 1, I always get around 400us wave as shown in screenshot below.

I am following the instructions of a video on ST's official Youtube page:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9KDN1o6924picture: https://imgur.com/a/bN5oR3p

Hi,I am using stm32f1 and HUT21D sensor (Temperature and humidity sensor). The sensor use i2c for communication. I am using IAR and cubeMX.For cube: I used default setting for i2c.For IAR: I shared the main.c below. Can anyone help on why only get 0.#I2C #[STM32 MCUs]

HI i got a problèm on an stm32f0.after a reset the µC is at 8mhz but i'm only able to climb to 16mhz when i want to go to 48MHZ , did someone have idea of where does the problem come from.the µc are not new because i work on protoboard and i cant change it.void Setup_Init_Clocks() {   RCC_DeInit(); RCC_HSICmd(ENABLE); RCC_PLLConfig(RCC_PLLSource_HSI,6);//with that pll mult i must have 48mhz? //RCC_PREDIV1Config(1); RCC_PLLCmd(ENABLE);   //RCC_PREDIV1Config(1); RCC_SYSCLKConfig(RCC_SYSCLKSource_PLLCLK); //RCC_USARTCLKConfig();definir si utile RCC_ClocksTypeDef value; RCC_GetClocksFreq(&value);   } int main(void) { Elevator_Data test_cab; Setup_Init_Clocks(); F_Init_IO(); F_InitTimers(); u8_F_CrepINIT(); F_InitUSART1(); F_InputsRead(&test_cab); F_LedsWrite(&test_cab);thanks by advance
