Hi,I am attempting to jump to system memory to be able to update the firmware via UART. Due to design constraints, BOOT0 pin will not an option for accessing the bootloader thus jumping to system memory within the application is needed.I'm using the following code to jump to system memory: __enable_irq(); HAL_RCC_DeInit(); HAL_DeInit(); SysTick->CTRL = 0; SysTick->LOAD = 0; SysTick->VAL = 0;   __HAL_SYSCFG_REMAPMEMORY_SYSTEMFLASH();   const uint32_t p = (*((uint32_t*) 0x1FFF0000)); __set_MSP( p );   void (*SysMemBootJump)(void); SysMemBootJump = (void (*)(void)) (*((uint32_t *) 0x1FFF0004)); SysMemBootJump();In AN2606 there is a note for MCUs that use the dual bank feature, I believe this is the part that is preventing the system from bootloading correctly. I jump to system memory in main() and using STM32CubeProgrammer attempt to connect via UART. However, it timeouts since there is no response from the ST chip.I've tried this code both on my dev kit and custom

STM32CubeIDEVersion: 1.9.0Build: 12015_20220302_0855 (UTC)Processor: STM32H7My issue is when i start debugging my project, it crashes while configuring my System Clock Config, but there is no real error. The debug just says "Target Lost" and tries to reconnect but cannot. It always crashes at lineMODIFY_REG(RCC->CFGR, RCC_CFGR_SW, RCC_ClkInitStruct->SYSCLKSource);What is interesting is it works fine on my nucleo (STM32H743) but not on my board I layed out. So that would seem to point to a hardware issue on my side, but what could that be? I tried pulling the crystal (x3) off the nucleo just to see if it would cause the same problem, it still runs (granted the application part doesnt but thats to be expected). Anyone seen this issue before?

Hi team,I am developing our PCB referring to the "STM32MP157 EVAL"(MB1263-C04 Board schematic).https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/stm32mp157f-ev1.html#cad-resourcesIn the datasheet, VREF+ looks like a voltage output pin, but why is power supply connected to VREF+ in STM32MP157 EVAL?Best regard,

Hi team,I'm developing a our PCB equipped with STM32MP151AAA3.Are the following pins named "Unused" okay to remain open?VDD_UnusedVDD1V2_UnusedVDDA1V8_UnusedBest regard,

Hi team,I am developing the board referring to the "STM32MP157 EVAL"(MB1263-C04 Board schematic).https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/stm32mp157f-ev1.html#cad-resourcesSTM32MP157 EVAL has an SD card slot and eMMC as storage media.I think the sample Linux environment (demo environment) is stored in the SD card, but is eMMC necessary?(If an SD card is installed, is it not necessary to install eMMC?)Best regard,

Hi,I'm working on a design with a STPM33. The application only needs to measure current on a single phase but, as STPM33 seems cheaper than STPM32, this was the chosen IC.  Could I remove C27 and C28 if the second channel is not used? If yes, could I let the VREF2 floating or should I do something with it?Thanks for your help.

Hi,I am using TouchGFX with a STM32F4 MCU that is working pretty great and is quite awesome :)!I am running into an issue where when transitioning (cover transition) from one screen to the other, the upper part of the screen is flickering the lower part seems ok.When displaying a static screen, everything is perfect.I am not sure that comes from TouchGFX though... (maybe it is a screen issue)Here is my setup :The screen is connected using the RGB interface 16 bit at 6.35MHzThe screen is a DT028CTFT The frame buffer is internal in a dedicated 164KB memory bank inside the STM32F4I am using the DMA2D with the LTDC built in controllersI do not use double frame buffer nor animation storage (maybe here is the issue?)I don't really know what kind of other information I could provide that can be useful here, please feel free to ask for more information. Thanks in advance for the help,AM.

It is doing exactly what I want, It is ramping up the frequency at the start, staying steady for some period of time, and then ramping down. In my case, I need up to 38400 steps. And I want to count steps, not time. My first thought was to have a big array (my STM32L443 has 64k RAM) and just load each step time in it so it ramps up at the start, keeps loading the same data through the middle and then ramps down at the end with one array. I was having problems trying to figure out how they kept the clock symmetrical. (I am not really familiar with TIM2.) After wading through the code, I found the output was toggled, and they had 2 identical data points for each cycle. One for the low part and one for the high part. So now my data set just doubled in size. That will not work. I do not have enough memory with 64k. I am driving the STCK pin on the L6474 and it can go to 2 MHz max, The datasheet does not say anything about whether it has to be symmetric (whether the high time must be the sa

For the USBX ACM class, the ux_device_descriptor files are generated by CubeMX in USBX/App folder. When trying out the RNDIS class type, no files are generated here. Is this a bug or not implemented? If not are there any examples of this to read? Being as there is no ECM driver for Windows, it would be useful to have RNDIS as an option here.

Hello,I'm working on STM32U5. We integrated the USB lib without AzureRTOS using the stm32_mw_usb_device (from STM github) as example.I use my STM32U5 as a USB device CDC, using the USB_OTG_FS. Everything seems to be working fine (Linux can mount it and send/receive data to/from it). Now, I want to test the eye diagram required by the USB 2.0 specification but I could not find any example code for this.I saw in the code a function called "USBD_RunTestMode()" but unfortunately, it is empty.Do you have an example of this ?If not, could you give me some hints on how I should do this ?Thank you.Best regards,Stephane

I'm really loving the high level of integration offered in the STM32CubeIDE application.Does STM32CubeIDE offer a serial terminal? This functionality was available in the Atollic TrueSTUDIO product.Maybe it's already in there (somewhere?) and I just can't find it...?I'm using this software to teach a class on the STM32 devices. Having one less external program to install and verify in the lab (i.e., Tera Term) and associated drivers (i.e., CH340G) would makes things a LOT simpler. Thanks for any insight you can share on this topic.Dale Wheat

Hi,I have a touchGFX project that requires many images that use about 20MB of QSPI.So flash the project on the card from CubeIDE take about 2-3min each time.I wan't to know if it's possible to avoid rewrite assets if it's not needed ?Thanks

C0 and C1 are both stated as "Set Default". Do I need to send both or can it be either, and if it either, why are there 2? The same question can be asked about C2 & C3 as well. And does any know what RFU means in the ST3916 datasheet?

I have two projects:  ·                both on microcontroller STM32H730VB; ·                both created in STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.10.1 with HAL library STM32Cube FW_H7 V1.10.0; ·                HAL version in file stm32h7xx_hal.c: STM32H7xx HAL Driver version number V1.11.0 I want to set Vector Table offset, but one project comment claims “Vector Table base offset field. This value must be a multiple of 0x200.? when in the other, “Vector Table base offset field. This value must be a multiple of 0x300.? I also find information that the “0x300? version is incorrect: https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeH7/issues/246 but with no confirmation. I suspect an error at the level of file generation by the Cube, but I need to know which o

Hello,I am using STM32L011G4U7 and wants to get the adc value where it showed once and not it is giving 0 for the adc raw values. Also please let me know that in order to read the vcc that is 3.3 volts do I need to select VREFINT channel as well along with ADC pin? Here's my code: void ReadVCC(byte ATR[]) {  HAL_ADC_Start_IT(&hadc);  HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc, HAL_MAX_DELAY);  adcval = HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc);  HAL_Delay(1);  VDDA = VREF * (VREFINT_CAL / adcval);  ATR[6] = (uint8_t) (VDDA>>8); // MSB  ATR[7] = (uint8_t) (VDDA & 0x00FF); // LSB  }result: adcval 0VDDA 1

Hello @Romain DIELEMAN , @Martin KJELDSEN, I see that you have a lot of replies on the TouchGFX so I hope it's ok that I address you directly. I am running a low-power application with a DSI display and TouchGFX 13 (will update to latest eventually). The problem that I have is that I cannot bring the display out of power off mode without deleting and re-creating the TouchGFX task. My ideal approach would be to simply stop the tick (seem like the suggestion for this is to stop LTDC interrupt via __HAL_LTDC_DISABLE(&hltdc); / __HAL_LTDC_ENABLE(&hltdc). I've also tried touchgfx::HAL::getInstance()->disableInterrupts(); / touchgfx::HAL::getInstance()->enableInterrupts();. But it seems like whenever the interrupts are stopped, I am unable to get the tick running again - DSI_IRQHandler stoppes triggering. My display power-off consists simply of issuing required DSI commands, then pulling power to the supply. Upon power-on I can tell that the display is active, but is not

I only have a DK2 development board, I want to use the Android firmware program, is there a way to make the Android system work? Can someone provide a patch for me to bringup on DK2, I don't care about performance, just learn android related knowledge, hope someone can help me, my email is tangtaoqaq@gmail.com thanks a lottao

Hi, We are trying to configure device keys using AT commands. We are able to change the App EUI and Device EUI using AT commands. But we are facing issues when modifying the App key and NWK key using AT commands. We referred the AT commands configuration examples of STM32WLE5 . But there is no reference for configuring App key and NWK key. Is it possible to change App key and NWK key using AT commands ? Please guide us with any references or ideas :).RAK Module Details:https://docs.rakwireless.com/Product-Categories/WisDuo/RAK3172-Module/Overview/#product-descriptionThanks!

Hello, I have dual core STM32MP157F-EV evaluation kit. I can connect via ST-link and install an application (This is installing on M4). And when I press the reset button, the application is deleted because the M4 core is RAM. I want it to work again every time I reset it. How can I do that ? How can I create an application-specific yocto project?

Hi all, I am working on a custom data logging board using STM32L4 and an SD NAND (uSD card in form of an IC). Since the SD chip is a surface-mounted IC (https://www.adafruit.com/product/4899) on the board using SPI and FATfs so I want to implement USB MSC to plug and play with the files when finish logging.I have seen a few examples and the closest is this STM32 USB MSC (Mass Storage Class) » ControllersTech but the example used SDIO mode and I am using SPI mode with FATfs to write content to SD card (based on this SD card using SPI in STM32 » ControllersTech). Can anyone with experience combine the FATfs SPI SD card with USB MSC to give me a hint for the implementation?
