Hi,Could anyone help us find the right NFC IC for our application? Our team is developing a FIDO2 authenticator that should support the CTAP 2.0 NFC transport binding found in the CTAP 2.0 January 30 specification (I'm not allowed to post links as a new member to this forum).Out current hardware has the M24SR IC and we're in doubt that this IC works for our product. We need an IC that has support for data transport over NFC. We need to be able to take commands in the ISO7816 APDU format as well as Java Applet installation commands and pipeline that data through our MCU to a secure element. We also need to send data over NFC from our MCU.Kind regards,Benjamin

I am having trouble with the ClickListener. I am trying to debounce the click event somehow. My first instinct is to delay and then check to see if the click is still present, but I am not sure it will work with this function because it seems that the click is an event that is triggered. For example, here is one of my click hander calls:void MainView::circleClickHandler(const touchgfx::Circle& c, const ClickEvent& evt) {Any suggestions on what the proper way to debounce a ClickListener object is? The buttons that are built-in widgets seem to do this with no additional code. Thanks in advance!P.S. - programming with the STM32F469I-DISCO board.

Hello,I'm trying to send data to STM32 from NodeMCU. My project is simply controlling WS2812B LEDs by using SPI from STM32 and receiving commands by using UART to STM32 from NodeMCU. LED's working fine by SPI but I can only receive data once at start. Then UART stops. I can still send commands to nodeMCU but it doesn't transmit to STM32 after first command.What might cause this problem? Here is my SPI and UART settinghspi1.Instance = SPI1; hspi1.Init.Mode = SPI_MODE_MASTER; hspi1.Init.Direction = SPI_DIRECTION_2LINES; hspi1.Init.DataSize = SPI_DATASIZE_8BIT; hspi1.Init.CLKPolarity = SPI_POLARITY_LOW; hspi1.Init.CLKPhase = SPI_PHASE_1EDGE; hspi1.Init.NSS = SPI_NSS_SOFT; hspi1.Init.BaudRatePrescaler = SPI_BAUDRATEPRESCALER_16; hspi1.Init.FirstBit = SPI_FIRSTBIT_MSB; hspi1.Init.TIMode = SPI_TIMODE_DISABLE; hspi1.Init.CRCCalculation = SPI_CRCCALCULATION_DISABLE; hspi1.Init.CRCPolynomial = 7; hspi1.Init.CRCLength = SPI_CRC_LENGTH_DATASIZE; hspi1.Init.NSSPMode = SPI_NSS_PULSE_DI

Dear STMicroelectronics,The attached file is a product circuit diagram applying STM32F401VET6 as the main CPU.As for the inquiry, there is a problem that the CPU standard output HIGH signal drops to LOW signal at a specific PORT when performing ESD test. The specific PORT is as follows. =>PB2,PB3,PB4,PB5,PB6,PB7,PB8,PB9,PB10,PB12,PB13,PB14,PB15,PC0,PC1,PC2,PC3,PC4,PC5,PC6,PC8,PC9,PC10,PC11. PC12, PC13 => A specific PORT is the input signal (Base) of the PNP Transitor-applied switching circuit, and functions to turn on (High) and turn off (Low) the LED.Please review the attached circuit diagram and PCB.Thank you.

I am using the ST25RU3993-EVAL board and its software GUI to read data from RFID-Tag ( Andy100 more informations in the Data-Sheet below). The tag can communicate with external devices (sensors/ external storage units) via spi. The SPI-Commands can be sent from the reader via rfid-waves. I am struggling to send commands to read/write data from/on an EEPROM (which is connected to the Tag via spi), because of lack of documentation on the structure of the commands sent by the reader. All i have from the user manual of ST25RU3993 evaluation board software GUI is an example of generic command about reading the first word in TID memory from address 0. I have tried to modify this command to access the memory address I am aiming to read (I have written some numbers in these addresses) but I am still getting some random numbers every time. I hope somebody could help me with it.Here are datasheets of the RFID-Tag ( IC and PCB) and the EEPROM (M95010-RDW6TP) I am using.

Hello everyone,I work on a project with STM32L072CBT6.I want to use a DMA RX on LPUART1, after reading differents ressources i have setup my LPUART and my DMA.I want to receive an interrupt from my DMA when transmit IDLE (end of transmit). My problem is the following, when i download my firmware and check my debug, no interrupt are flaged. When i power down/up my card, my interrupt work only once.I have try differents things but i have obtain no result.I would like to know if you have advice that can help me about this problem ?Thanks for your help,Best regards,MLamDMA ConfigurationLPUART1 ConfigurationNVIC Configuration

I am trying to set up a sourcing power delivery port on an STM32G0 system. I have set up switching of VBUS, and when I connect up a sinking device my system detects it, sets up VBUS and starts sending source capacity messages.Log:<Connect source to port 0> USBPD_DPM_Notification - USBPD stack started USBPD_DPM_UserCableDetection - Cable attached to port 0; role=sink USBPD_DPM_Notification - USBPD stack started USBPD_DPM_SetDataInfo - Reset sink PDO on port 0 (data=0) USBPD_DPM_SetDataInfo - Received sink request of size 1 on port 0 USBPD_DPM_SetDataInfo - Received 5 Source PDOs on port 0 USBPD_DPM_SNK_EvaluateCapabilities - Selecting PDO offer 0 USBPD_DPM_Notification - Power state changed on port 0 USBPD_DPM_Notification - Request accepted on port 0 USBPD_DPM_Notification - Power state changed on port 0 USBPD_DPM_Notification - Explicit contract on port 0 USBPD_DPM_Notification - Sink ready on port 0   <Connect sink to port 1> BSP_USBPD_PWR_VBUSOff on port 1 USBPD_DPM

I have set up the USBPD lib on my system to manage USB power delivery messages and set up power contracts in both the source and sink directions. Now that this seems to work well, I also want the system to work with a USB-C only power source (non-PD). I have a power source that is capable of supplying 3A at 5V, and have connected a 10K Rp resistor between a CC line and VBUS.On connecting the source I expected (hoped) the USBPD stack to trigger a connection event, sample the CC lines and conclude that after a while of no CC responses end up in the USBPD_POWER_IMPLICITCONTRACT state based on the Rp resistor value. Instead it triggers a connect event and goes to the USBPD_POWER_DEFAULT5V state. Then after a while of no CC response it tries to hard-reset the bus and panics because the requested voltage (0V) does not match the bus voltage (5V).So my question is how is this normally handled? Is is possible to have the USBPD stack be happy with a fixed Rp resistor, and is it possible for the

I am running STM32CubeIDE ver 1.11.0 and using a Nucleo-F446RE boardI create a new project and just enable FreeRTOS and add 1 task (in addition to the default task. I am using CMSIS_V2. I save and generate the code. The code for the task is there, but there are no calls in the code to create the thread. Watched some youtubes and they dont seem to do anything more than what I did, but their project have all the code there to create the threads and the threads run...any ideas would be appreciated.thanks!

Hello - I am working on a safety critical application using the STM32L431VC that requires the VREF+ voltage rail to be powered off of a different voltage rail than the main VDD and VDDA rail. The VDD and VDDA voltage rails are being generated by a single SMPS that is bucking 12V down to 3.3V. The VREF+ pin of this part is being supplied with a 3.0V rail that is also generated off of the 12V input rail of this design.Since both the 3.3V VDD/VDDA rail and the 3.0V VREF+ rails are being generated off of the 12V rail independently, there is a chance that the 3.0V rail could be present on VREF+ while 3.3V is sequencing up. (Essentially, 3.0V VREF+ can be present before 3.3V VDD/VDDA). In order to avoid this, I am planning on sequencing the 3.0V regulator off of the Power Good for the 3.3V regulator. Once 3.3V is steady the power good will allow 3.0V to begin regulation. The STM32L431VC datasheet is not clear on whether this is OK. The power sequencing Figure 3 only shows VDD and VDDA. &nbsp

I'm trying to use these two functions in STM32CubeIDE within FreeRTOS CMSIS v2:osKernelSuspend()osKernelResume()My goal is to put the microcontroller in STOP MODE.I get an error when compiling the project. The problem seems to be the following: the two functions are only defined in cmsis_os2.h, but they are missing in cmsis_os2.c.Such functions are well described in the documentation:https://www.keil.com/pack/doc/CMSIS/RTOS2/html/group__CMSIS__RTOS__KernelCtrl.html#gae26683e1606ec633354a2876c68f0c1fBut they are missing in the FreeRTOS folder.I'm using STM32L4xx microcontrollerAny suggestion to fix the problem? Thanks in advance!Flavio

I am currently working on a project where I am using the serial communication. I am using an AEK-MCU-C4MLT1, with SPC5 studio on a windows PC. In particular, I am capable to transmit data but not to receive data. I tried also by enabling the interrupt, either for the transmission and the reception, and I found out that the program enters in the interrupt each time I call the function "sd_lld_read", even if I send no data externally (from docklight). By sending data from docklight, and looking at the rx_buffer I am not able to read anything.I attach the relevant part of the code here:int main(void) { /* Initialization of all the imported components in the order specified in the application wizard. The function is generated automatically.*/ componentsInit(); /* Uncomment the below routine to Enable Interrupts. */ irqIsrEnable(); sd_lld_start(&SD1,&serial_config_UART); sd_lld_read(&SD1, (uint8_t*)aux_rx, 1000); memset(aux_rx,0,sizeof(aux_rx)); /* Application main loop.*/ for (

After reading documents, I understand the practical boot sequence of STM32MP1 is BOOTROM->TF-A->U-boot->Kernel->file systemIn my use case, I prefer to use Windows and write code in bare metal, without U-boot and device tree involved. 1 I think the boot sequence will be BOOTROM->TF-A->bare metal binary?2 I tried STM32MP15x starter package in Windows, by using STM32CubeProgrammer, to flash binaries to NVM such as NAND, and NOR etc. If I understand correctly, is FIP section in the tsv file assigning the partitions of NAND flash and NOR flash? If I want to go with the boot sequence I mentioned above, is there a way I can modify FIP bin/access the source code in Windows, and change NAND flash partition?3 Is there an identification header, like the 256 bytes header that TF-A contains, needs to be attached to my bare metal binary? Thanks in advance.dchen

Below is a copy of a warning found within the PID-controller of MC-SDK 5.Y.4.We have a Cortext-M4 based board so I guess the warning text is a copy-paste and I should not care that it mentions Cortex-M3.. /* WARNING: the below instruction is not MISRA compliant, user should verify that Cortex-M3 assembly instruction ASR (arithmetic shift right) is used by the compiler to perform the shifts (instead of LSR logical shift right)*/ //cstat !MISRAC2012-Rule-1.3_n !ATH-shift-neg !MISRAC2012-Rule-10.1_R6How can we check if the compiler uses ASR and not LSR in these situations?

Hi DearI try to build a test setup with AEK-AUD-D903V1 and AEK-MCU-C1MLIT1 follow the user manual um2719, when I modifed the "application.ld" document, an error was generatered.    .sounddb : ALIGN(16)    {        __sounddb_start__ = .;        *(.sounddb)        *(.sounddb.*)        *(.gnu.linkonce.s.*)            KEEP(*(.sounddb))  // the error line        __sounddb_end__ = .;    } > soundI located the error line, if  "KEEP(*(.sounddb))" line was deleted, the project will be compiled competely, or failed. The error indicator was attached. Could you please me to solve this issue, thanks.

I have a STEVAL-IPM05F. My goal is to switch on/off the IGBTs. While I try that, I got many difficulties, like loading the Boots voltage etc. Now I have four questions. Why are all of the bootstrap capacitors carched although I don't switch the LOW-Side on?What is the SD here (Where can I measure when an error is there?). I put it on high or in low and nothing changes.Where does the powerboard gets his 3.3V or 5V? If I look at the circuit, there isn't anything which generates the 3.3V or 5V. I have an +V and HV bus voltage pin on the motor control connector and there isn't any description in the user manuel or in the internet. What do they stand for? Pls a good answer is very important, because in my last question the answer was wrong and I tried to test the board with that answer and lost a lot of time. Thank you!

HiI have the situation, that on one screen several buttons with only one color and rounded corners has to be placed. (see screenshot) But the corners are different on every button. The easiest way would be to generate two images (for released/pressed button) for every button, but this is very ressource intensive (memory) for such simple buttons. If possible I would like to avoid this case. With the flex button i have the option to add a box. Is there an option to specify a radius for every corner?Or are other concepts applicable for this situation? Is such a feature planned for next releases of the designer (maybe in version 4.11)? When will the new release available? I've seen that this will include new text options which are very interesting for me.Best regardsMarco

we have bought a batch of L297/1, and found the appearance has shown very bad surface plating result. we have bulk ID on the outer box, please help to confirm if the parts are authentic from STM.[edit: some information removed by moderator] thank you!

Hi,Currently I have 5 STM32F469I Discovery boards:1 x MB1189 B-02 (Revision that is not mentioned in the User Manual, chapter 6.2 product history).4 x MB1189 B-08 (F469NIH6).Have been using the B-02 for some time without any problems. When I use any B-08 board with a default TouchGFX (4.20) template the display does not turn on. When I check the debugger all the display commands (OTM8009a) commands have a time-out.Even without flashing the B-08 boards when they come straight out of the packaging, the display does not turn on when I connect the usb cable. However, when I try the precompiled demo from 2019 (from this page) the display does turn on, but the program enters some fault handler as it gets stuck. On the B-02 board this demo does run without problems (except that the images are not loaded from the external flash). What is the difference between these boards, which driver do I need to control the display?

What is the difference between parts “STM32F429ZGT6? and "STM32F429ZGT6TR"? W found from the datasheets,"*** = programmed parts,TR=tape and reel" .We think,“programmed parts?should not be the same as "tape and reel".So the “TR? really means？Can they be replaced each other pin to pin?Is the software compatible?
