Hi,I found this in datasheet But we config SDRAM at 120MHz, because we are running at 480MHz.(480MHz / 2 / 2 = 120MHz).I am thinking the datasheet is for STM32H7xx 400MHz, because when I config SDRAM at 120MHz, the system works fine without issue.Does max 100MHz FMC clock apply for STM32H7 480MHz?Thanks.

Hi Everybody,Firstly, I would like to note that I am pretty new to embedded systems, so I am sorry if my terminology is off or if I am not communicating clearly, please forgive the (probably) gaping holes in my knowledge. I will do my best to communicate my problem as clearly as I can. I am working with a STM32L412 on product development, the team I a part of would like to have a section of flash not be erased when the MCU is reprogrammed. The amount of information that we need to be preserved is small, maybe at most 200 bytes, enough space to store some information like a serial number, baud rate, etc.To that end, I currently have sectioned off the last page (page 63) of flash in my L412 in the linker file to separate it from the rest of flash, so I can use it to contain this information. //This is what I have so far in the linker file. RAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 40K RAM2 (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x10000000, LENGTH = 8K FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x8000000, LENGTH = 126K Devic

Hello,Using a custom board loosely based on STM32mp157F-DK2we are using boot0 and boot2 pins.According to documentation,boot mode configuration is as follows;Boot Mode     BOOT2  BOOT0Recov/DFU        0      0Nor              0      1Reserved(DEV)    1      0SD-Card           1      1 Whereas with our board,I get a table like this Boot Mode     BOOT2  BOOT0DFU              0      0DFU              0      1Reserved(DEV)   1  &n

I am not a programmer and beginner in Embedded software, I recieve a keil project from another person. I need to change some parameters in the project. I have STM32cube IDE with debugger. So how to open the keil project with its file to STM32cube IDE and create the project as STM32cube project and download to ucontroller? It would be nice each step explanation , screenshot if needed. Thank you

I am reaching out to seek your expertise regarding a clock setup issue that I encountered while using the STM32H743 microcontroller. My goal is to use up to a maximum of 480MHz system clock using a 25MHz HSE. However, I have encountered some errors in red while setting up the clock in STM32CubeIDE. I am unsure why these issues have occurred, and I would greatly appreciate any insights you may have.My main question is whether it is possible to achieve a 480MHz system clock using a 25MHz HSE. I would be grateful for any advice you may have regarding this matter.

Data is showing properly in Chart node but can't write data with write panel widget. When I try this work after change target board ( before : STM32F407G-DISC1 --> after : EVSPIN32F0601S1) the problem was resolved. I would like to know what is the difference between that two boards for working of "Write panel node". Please help me...

Hello all....New to the STM32WL world and trying to understand some things:Could someone point me to the appropriate applications, within the STM32WL Library package framework, for creating a remote control hub that could send a user defined packet structure to various nodes (network would be either simplex or half duplex (call / response)? (I want to use the LoRa phy but not have the restrictions of the LoRaWan protocol as this is a self contained intranet ---- no internet required)Thank you

stm32G071 UCPD SINK code answers GOODCRC after received SRC_CAPABILITY,but USBPD_PE_SetDataInfo Funtion was not Execute after GOODCRC,why?

I'm new to the Cube toolchain and am attempting my first program. TIM2 is configured for PWM so I put a scope on one of the pins as a test the program runs but saw nothing. I had forgotten to remove the jumper, so I removed it to enable execution, but it didn't do anything. I replaced the jumper, and now the Nucleo's ST-link connection no longer working. I can see the serial number appear, but I get the error "No STM32 target found". Others had similar behavior, but their recovery steps didn't work for me. How can I recover from this state?

Hello all can you please help me find out for what the -E suffix stands for. There is no reference in the datasheet(s) i've stumbled upon. Many thanks in advance

I can get the bootloader to work fine on USART1 but can't seem to get anything from USART2. Is there a trick to making the second USART port work? I have checked the output from my test serial port on the logic analyzer and it seems correct and is sending out the 0x7F to wake the chip up. No response from the chip.

When I attempt to read an 8 character hexadecimal value with sscanf(), I get 0x7FFFFFFF for all values over "80000000". It's as if sscanf() is confusing signed and unsigned numbers. If I read the 8 characters as two sets of 4, there is no problem (this is my workaround). If I try this scaled down to 16 bits, there is no problem. If I put this same code in visual studio (with sscanf deprecation disabled), there is no problem. I'm just using "include <stdio.h>" to get sscanf() as it ships with CubeIDE.The attached code snippet is for illustration. It only take lines 13-15 or 19-21 to recreate the problem.int size32=sizeof(unsigned int); //just to verify data sizes int size16=sizeof(unsigned short); //just to verify data sizes   //need to read in 8 characters as a 32 bit hex value char str1[]="12345678"; unsigned int val1; int res1=sscanf(str1,"%8X",&val1);   char str2[]="7F123456"; unsigned int val2; int res2=sscanf(str2,"%8X",&val2);   char str3[]="

As a newbie user, I tried to do basic code in STM32CubeIde which includes only potentiometer and leds. My goal is that when Potentiometre's value rise, different led will light. The code works but when I rise the potentiometre's value the leds don't switch. However when I push the reset button the leds that I want lights.

See my last post for details on the non-solution.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Original post follows:I've created a simple project that's intended to blink some LEDs every half second. As far as I can tell the SysTick interrupt never runs and the program goes off into the weeds.I'm using Ozone and a J-link to debug the program with a F103EZ devboard as the target. When I single step through the code I see the LEDs behave as expected. I can see the SysTick counter decrementing. I don't have the patience to single step until the counter gets to zero.Everything behaves as expected when I single step. When I just let it run the LEDs never come on and, when I stop it, the PC and stack pointer are out in the weeds. Here's the STM32cubeIDE project:https://www.dropbox.com/s/jpml937l1ls98vd/temp.zip?dl=0EDIT: By disabling the Systick interrupt and turning it into a polled system I am now functional.I have no idea why

Hello,i have a maybe simple question but i did not get it.If i have an array of some unsinged chars, let`s say:value[0] = 0xAAvalue[1] = 0xABvalue[2] = 0x0Band i want to print them together as "AAAB0B" in a textarea, what is the best way?The problem is that i am losing the 0 from "0B" value.Unicode::snprintf(txt1Buffer, TXT1_SIZE, "%X%X%X", 0xAB, 0xCD, 0x0F);That gives me an output of:ABCDFBut i want the leading zero. ABCD0FHow can that be done?Thank you very much.

My project uses stm32h753 and Azure (ThreadX and USBX), I want to have USBFS as CDC and USBHS for DFU. In CubeMX how do I specify which USB interface is for which device class, or it should be done in code?

I need help with an issue regarding STM32L462RE (B-L462E-CELL1).How do you connect the modem to a network?I have been trying to use X-CUBE-CELLULAR.I flashed the binaries and know I can get some info from the modem, however i can't connect to the networkIt keeps sending itself at commands and not connecting to the network.

I am new to STM32 development and I have INCREDIBLE difficulties getting any example to run on any platform. I used to be able to run some very simple examples and even successfully implement changes on a TouchGFX-generated project, but changing the .ioc file was discouraged and quickly messed up things. More recently I have never managed to debug anything on the STMF3348 discovery board, let alone implement a DAC output (triggered from the timer and fed from DMA). If I am lucky if I reach the clock setup before falling over. Now, I have installed a cube F3 patch but none of the examples are visible, probably due to their different format (none was made for STM32CubeIDE but for SW4STM32 instead) and they do not show up in the MX tool. Anyhow, copying over the  SystemClock_Config() did not help as the system fell over evern before the HAL_INIT() ?! There must be a problem with the hardware setup but the board selection should take care of that. Is that board somehow obsolete?

Is there support in the HAL for the power management function on SD cards as per section 5.8.1 of the SD card specification (Physical Layer Simplified Specification Version V9.00)? I am talking specifically about the Power Off Notification feature. My current HAL version does not seem to supportt the extension register space at all.If there is no support yet, is it planned to be implemented?
