Hi there !i'm gonna to 'play' with touchgfx , and after a help from community ii'm going to make my first program. And here i'm first problem. I wanto to change the name of a button after i touch and right now i just try to wrote that :void Screen1View::btn1(){ buttonWithLabel1.setLabelText(touchgfx::TypedText('t')); buttonWithLabel1.invalidate();} and i have a couple of question:1) dosen't work and afther the first touch the button look like continus to be push 2) i want write one phraselike Stop but i don't know how to do I hope some one can help me Have a good day Sergio

Hello, I am a newcomer and want to ask a newbie questionI researched EVB-EVSPIN32G4 and found that there is no example of this. Both Demostrations need list EVB profile. So I can't directly operate them.1. ST Motor profiler2. MC WorkbenchWhat time does ST plan support? If I want to use this EVB, is there a suitable example.Best regards, Eric Hung

Dear STM32 Motor Control community membersWe are very pleased to announce the new release 5.Y.3 of the XCUBE_MCSDK. As usual, you can download XCUBE_MCSDK here: https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/x-cube-mcsdk.html .The Motor Pilot, our monitoring tools have been improved in this version:SimpleApp.qml has been reintroducedlink/unlink control between plot has been addedand double clicking on autoscale plots is now possible. In addition, many bugs have been corrected. Please check the associated release notes to get all details.Best regards

Hello,I was trying to do a basic Ethernet set up to send UDP packets using LWIP stack, STM32f427VG MCU and CubeIDE. For initial testing I have configured the Ethernet module and external PHY - KSZ8041NL and tried sending PING command. But the ethernet module in my PC is not detecting the hardware. Seems like I have configured wrongly because the hardware is perfectly sending data over ethernet when I load another program. I am not using any OS at present.I have attached my project file here. Please share your valuable comments.Thank you

Hi!I am currently working with the stm32h747, trying to sample current and voltage using the internal ADC with its analog pins. My samples are wrong, the values sampled are coming out with a wierd offset (for example: 0 voltages is samples as ~1.87v). i can see that aplying votage on the pins or shorting them to GND gives some effect but the values are still wrong.the init code is standard and generated by cubeMX, My cube defenitions look like this: Here is an example of how i sample:the following function is called and i configure the specific pin i want to sample.float CAdc::GetAnalogIn(void){ float val, Result;   ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0};   sConfig.Channel = ADC_CHANNEL_18;     //set MNTR_APD_Pin channel sConfig.Rank = ADC_REGULAR_RANK_1; //Work with one channel sConfig.SamplingTime     = ADC_SAMPLETIME_16CYCLES_5; //number of cycles   HAL_ADC_ConfigChannel(&h

Today i lost 4 hours to get UART DMA working, to find out CubeMx put some initialisation code in the wrong order. I would like to tell ST employees about this. This was generated by CubeMx, UART DMA did not work at all MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_SPI2_Init(); MX_USART1_UART_Init(); MX_CRC_Init(); MX_DMA_Init(); MX_TIM16_Init();After moving the DMA init before UART init, everything worked well./* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_SPI2_Init(); MX_DMA_Init(); MX_USART1_UART_Init(); MX_CRC_Init(); MX_TIM16_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */

Hello. I have run into a problem in a MCU project I have. I'll explain the situation. We have a STM32F072RB -based product where we are implementing firmware update functionality. There would be 3 binaries in the MCU:Custom "thick" bootloader selecting application binary 1 or application binary 2 and jumping to run itApplication binary 1 beginning at address AApplication binary 2 beginning at address BOur initial plan was to build different application binaries with explicitly different locations, but my customer is kind of wishing to use only one application binary. Therefore binary 1 would have exactly the same contents as binary 2.Some experts say the way my customer wants the functionality is almost impossible to make. What do you say?If anyone has any pointers what to google, what documents to read, etc, I'm all ears.(My current, possibly stupid, idea is to make the single application binary to contain some kind of functionality to determine where it is run from and if it is run fr

Hello, I searched all the documentation for STM32F4xx MCUs to find the proper source of the clock for each of SPIx peripherals - no result. Please somebody point to a proper document/chapter/page ...All chapters on SPI in the reference manual talk about "peripheral clock" Pclk without specifying which one APBx is used for clocking each SPIx.Also related to the above : the manual talks about prescalers for SPI clocking, yet, CubeMX does not provide option to setup prescaler for SPI2. Looks like some of SPIs do have prescaler but others don't . I can add manually the prescaler value into the MX-generated SPI setup but may be I am missing something in CubeMX SPI or clocks department ?Please help.

Hi,I am looking for the correct pullup/pulldown mode for the joystick on the STM32F412G discovery board. My instinct would say that with the attached board schematic the mode should be "pulldown".But the default project in STM32CubeIDE configures it as "No pullup no pulldown".Which one is correct?

I want to flash my software to STM32 and I want to see the com port.So I went to device manager and I found out thisWhat should I do here?

I have generated minimal code using cubeMX that i enter stop2 mode and never wake up.i added some functions to decrease power consumption and tried to combine between them in order to see how the idd measurements changes.among the functions:killing the debuggerdisable systick interruptdisable RTCdeinit all ios and thier portsdisabling all ios clocksdefine ios as analog pull downdisabling HCLK,PCLK1,PCLK2,HSI CLK,MSI CLK,LSE CLKno matter what, i always see above 150uA while in the datasheet i see that the MCU should support arround 1uA in STOP2 mode.In the board datasheet UM2206 Rev 3 about the IDD measurement it is written:that the IDD measurement is used to measure the STM32 microcontroller, the level shifter and the SMPS consumptions.i would like to know how can i measure only the MCU current consumption and see really arround 1uA when on STOP2 mode?quote from the board datasheet:"The jumper JP6, labeled IDD, is used to measure the STM32 microcontroller, the level shifter and the SMP

Hi,i have written a custom bootloader + end user application for STM32G030K8.When i run the bootloader seperately , then the bootload code works as expectedWhen i run the user application from addres 0x0800000 then the code works fine. But after i make the changes to be able to build and debug bootloader + enduser application, some things go wrong...changes made are 1) in end user applications system_stm32g0xx.c , i have changed the vect tab offset #define VECT_TAB_OFFSET     0x00005800U 2) in end user applications STM32G030K8TX_FLASH.ld , i have changed the origin FLASH  (rx)  : ORIGIN = 0x8005800,  LENGTH = 40K3) in bootloader applications STM32G030K8TX_FLASH.ld , i have changed the lengthFLASH  (rx)  : ORIGIN = 0x8000000,  LENGTH = 22K(2 k is used to write data to flash)in debug settingswhen i run the debugger with above settings , the debugger starts at in main(void) from the end user applicati

Hi,In CUBEMX with LQFP144, there is no configuration for both SRAM and SDRAM? But with other packets (LQFP176, LQFP208) there is a configuration like SDRAM1, SDRAM2, SRAM. Is it not possible with the LQFP144 or if I configure the parameters directly from the code, would it works? Because I believe all packets have the same properties except the pin numbers. Thank you.

I have a STM32G071 nucleo and want to generate an arbitrary waveform on PA0 via TIM2-CH1.I am using the HAL_TIM_DMABurst_MultiWriteStart API: it should do bursts of 3 writes to multiple registers (ARR and CCR1).Problem is, the DMA only updates the ARR (instead of ARR + RCR + CCR1) and only once (instead of two bursts). If I change the base register to CCR1 it only updates the CCR1 once.I see this, because I freeze the timer when the core is halted and I added breakpoints to HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedHalfCpltCallback and HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback (and the output waveform is BS).Normal or circular mode have the same effect. This is the main code:__HAL_DBGMCU_FREEZE_TIM2(); uint32_t buffer32b[6] = {10, 0, 30, 100, 0, 300}; HAL_StatusTypeDef result; result = HAL_TIM_DMABurst_MultiWriteStart(&htim2, TIM_DMABASE_ARR, TIM_DMA_UPDATE, buffer32b, TIM_DMABURSTLENGTH_3TRANSFERS, 6); result = HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim2, TIM_CHANNEL_1);All the registers I checked looked fine to me.Could this be

Does CubeIDE supports HAL+ LL examples? Or it is support only CubeMX? If CubeIDE it is support so, how to activate this or it is activated automatically?

Hi all,I would like to create a STM32CubeIDE project for my H747 discovery board. I've modified the board (rerouting to the ethernet IC) as the guide propose and the it is working (I tried out with MBED OS socket example). But in the ST IDE there isn't any LwIP example for H747I-DISCO. How can I create one? (I tried to port an Nucleo H743ZI example, but it was unsuccessful).Regards, ranciere

Posted on February 13, 2017 at 20:17Hello everyone.I've been working for a long time with SPBTLE-RF modules in our project. I never experienced any problems with these modules. But now we've redesigned our PCB and are going to use BlueNRG-MS chips directly placed on PCB (QFN case, 16MHz ext. oscillator + 32768 Hz ext. low freq. oscillator, step-down converter active). And it doesn't work... Interestingly that FW upgrades without any problems (we are embedding fw image into our software and uptate chip softwarte if it's version is lower than 0x723). IFR (generated by me especially for my hardware design) is updated and verified also without any issues (as I understand both of the mentioned actions are done by BlueNRG-MS bootloader).But  when it comes to configuring chip - it hangs. First of all I'm trying to configure DIV, ER and IR keys. DIV programming passes (BlueNRG-MS returns 0 status), but all subsequent operations (ER, IR programming, gap/gatt initializing, etc.) fa

Hey, i would like to have a BLE device that can send and receive data from other BLE devices. Any idea how to implement this, since CubeMX only allows to be a server or a client? Thanks in advance

I am trying to use INT2 pin for FIFO overrun in stream mode because I am dumb and have ONLY connected INT2 to my MCU. INT1 is NC. Trying to avoid a new board. The datasheet seems to contradict itself but I expect I am missing something. I have tried all combinations of these three register bits:CTRL_REG3[I1_OVERRUN] enables FIFO overrun on INT1CTRL_REG6[I2_INT1] states "Interrupt 1 function enable on INT2 pin."FIFO_CTRL_REG[TR] "1: trigger event allows triggering signal on INT2"I would have thought setting these bits would achieve my goal but it doesn't seem to. Is this component able to trigger FIFO overrun interrupt on pin INT2?Many thanks.

I am using the STM32L072CBT and wish to use PB15 as PWM output. I have created the project in CubeMx but selecting PB15 offers no timer channels at all. I have double checked the data sheet which shows PB15 with AF1 as TIM15_CH2. I have created a new empty project and tried the same just to make sure that there is no clash but I see the same. Am I missing something obvious here?Any comments, much appreciated
