I saw the VL53L1X used as a people counter video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c91Ve-g0J2UIs the source code used in that video available?TIA,

Hi,I am facing some issues related with VL6180x offset calibration (I am not using cover glass, and I have tested many sensors on breakout boards from Adafruit and Pololu).First, with default SYSRANGE__PART_TO_PART_RANGE_OFFSET value, range measurement is 150:350mm instead of 0:100mm. (With target at 160mm I get 10mm from sensor, etc). So first 0-150 mm I get 0 as range measure. If applying calibration procedure :  https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/dm00122600-vl6180x-basic-ranging-application-note-stmicroelectronics.pdf I get:Initial measurement with default factory offset when target is at 50mm is 0Changing 0x24 to 0 and collecting more than 10 measurements ( All measurements = 0 mm range)Offset = 50 - 0 = 50AppLying offset = 50 into 0x24 in C2s format --> Now measured range when target is at 50 mm is 25 (target from 0 to 50mm I get 25mm as range measurement), and maximum length measured is 225Applying offset = 60 -> Range measurement from 35 to 235Applyin

Hello,My company is using since more than one year the HTS221 component, in several thousands of units. On really few parts, we observe that the HTS221 sensor is stuck in a not ready state: we request its status before reading its output data registers to make sure the sensor has new measured values to send. We have not identified any specific environmental pattern that would produce such a bug. Here is the configuration:CTRL_REG1: BDU =1 and ODR1,ODR2 = 11 (12.5Hz)All other configuration registers are in default configuration state (we do not configure them, only CTRL_REG1 is initialized). We measure thanks to an interruption the output registers every second (yes, than why a 12.5Hz outpute data rate ? I will change it to 1Hz but this shouldn't be the reason of the stuck issue, shouldn't it ?)And if the sensor has not any data ready (status register H_DA and T_DAT are equals to 0), we send every millisecond a new reading command to its status register. After 800 iterations (about 800ms),

For example, the HTS221 sensor responds correctly to the "WhoAmI" query. It then responds with a NAN when trying to read the temperature or the humidity. Some of the other drivers do not even respond to the "WhoAmI" command correctly. Would using these drivers be the correct approach, or is there some other preferred method?

Is there a number / measure for the linearity of the LSM9DS1 gyro across the 0-360deg range ?I mean, how much 1deg measured at 0deg orientation is the same as 1deg measured at 90deg orientation ?Thanks

Hi,I'm using the IKS01A3 board on a P-NUCLEO-WB55 board with the example application IKS01A3 DataLogTerminal. Some questions:where is the mapping from GPIO numbers (0 through 15) to pin names on the micro (STM32WB55 in QFN68 package)? I have the board schematic which shows port names e.g. PA0, etc. but the example code refers to GPIO numbers. I can't find the mapping from GPIO numbers to pin/port names.I'm trying to see all of the LIS2DW12 sensor data, not just a 1s sample as done in the MX_IKS01A3_DataLogTerminal_Process function in the app_mems.ca file. I can't see where the interrupt service routine reads the sensor and writes it into the IKS01A3_MOTION_SENSOR_Axes_t data structure. Thanks for helping a newbie!Jim TompkinsHalifax, Canada

Hi,Is it possible to use MotionTL2 library with a 3rd party MCU? if yes, are there examples available? My setup is STM accelerometer sensor connected to a Nordic MCU board via I2C.Thanks.

This pedometer function can count steps after the first ten steps.  The first ten steps is defalt and the application note said it can be change other value. I have found I should set up ****_DEB_STEPS_CONF register. But I don't know how to do that. I just found the register address in the code but there is no value for change. How can I set it?

I'm working for LIS2DW12 sensor, I want to implement Pedometer so in this sensor there is no pedometer embedded option. I am using MEMS library but we are using BMD300 board (NRF52832),is it supported for NRF52832 ?

I checked the Application note "AN5561", VL53L3CX maximum ranging performance improvements. I had a question about "1.3 Maximum ranging distance".The performance of Medium distance mode seems to be better than the one of Long distance mode. I thought these tables were exchanged .Is it correct the spec of Table 1? The distance of Medium distance mode is longer than the one of Long distance mode? Thanks at advance

Hi guys!I'm trying to use X-CUBE-AI with Application template, but I got "template code should be updated to support a model with multiple IO".I have accelerometer LSM6DS0 data as input (3 axis) and 4 output classes ('Up','Down','Left','Right'). What should I change to feed up the model? Thank you in advance!

Currently, we are using I2C from userspace to poll the LSM9DS1. However, this increases the CPU load on our device. This is why we would like to use the Industrial IO driver to reduce this impact. We have already patched our kernel v4.14.78 with https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STMems_Linux_IIO_drivers/tree/linux-4.14.y-gh and are able to use the IIO devices to read out the raw channels. Now we would like to use the triggers and buffers to read out the data to be able to read out the sensor on a higher frequency. The problem is that these files/folders are missing from our sysfs. We think this might be because we do not have a hardware interrupt available in our device tree:&i2c1 { lsm9ds1@6b { compatible = "st,lsm9ds1"; reg = <0x6b>; status = "okay"; };   lsm9ds1_magn@1e { compatible = "st,lsm9ds1_magn"; reg = <0x1e>; status = "okay"; }; };Our defconfig contains the following config for IIO:CONFIG_IIO=y CONFIG_IIO_BUFFER_CB=y CONFIG_IIO_SW_DEVIC

Single click interrupt works fine, Double click interrupt works fine. When trying to enable both at the same time only the double clicks work. I have searched, and there are 3 old topics with this exact question, all are closed with no answer. Could you just provide an answer instead of just closing this one too? Is it a silicon bug? Or some error in the datasheet or appnote AN3308?

We have designed custom board which has STM32F446RE MCU and ISM330DLC vibration sensor. We are able to send FFT data with 512 sample to Unicleo-GUI and able to observe the FFT data for X,Y,Z axis on graph. But when we send FFT data with 1024 samples to Unicleo-GUI, FFT graph for only Z-axis is visible. Please let us know what is the limiting factor in Unicleo-GUI to represent [1024] more samples.Awaiting for quick response.Regards,Rajesh K.

Hi, I am Emily Ha.For more than 1 month, I've try to use M41ST85W RTC Module. However, I couldnt :(Finially, I ask my problem to this web community site.My Board : STM32F446REMy RTC Module : M41ST85WMy deburging UI : Keil5I made my code based on AN3060 Application note, and device's datasheet.Based on this information, I wrote this.First, I activated the I2C. (Below the line, you can find 'hi2c1'.)And, I enabled the ST bit and halt bit.(Each bit is setted to 0.)But,,,... there's nothing happened.I cant even imagine what to do and how to do.Plz, help me to use this RTC Module.Which line is incorrect??? Which line should I rewrite??#include "main.h" #include "i2c.h" #include "usart.h" #include "gpio.h"   /* Private includes ----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */ uint8_t I2C_Add_D0 = 0xd0; uint8_t Sec_Value = 0;   uint8_t Clock_Addr_Halt_bit = 0x0c; uint8_t clokck_haltbit_disalbe = 0x01<<6; uint8_t clokck_haltbit_enalbe

Our project compiled and linked with no issues when set to HW floating point support. (i.e. The Properties -> C/C ++ Build -> Settings -< Tool Settings -> MCU Settings -> Floating-point ABI is set to "Hardware implementation ...".). However, some math calculations were (very) incorrect when I ran the program. I switched from "Hardware implementation ..." to "Mix HW/SW implementation..." as this worked before we upgraded all our STMicro software (i.e. libraries and tools). But now I see these errors when I try to compile the project:c:\st\stm32cubeide_1.3.0\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.7-2018-q2-update.win32_1.5.0.202011040924\tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: error: ../Middlewares/ST/STM32_MotionEC_Library/Lib\MotionEC_CM4F_wc32_ot_hard.a(motion_ec.o) uses VFP register arguments, LynQ Host.elf does not c:\st\stm32cubeide_1.3.0\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.7-2018-q2-update.

HI, I would like to use the LIS2DE12 to detect displacement (if someone moves my product from it starting place). As i should not be disturbed by vibration (workers, kick,…) I would like to do the detection in two steps :1)     Use INT2 to detect small movement (with custom threshold and duration)2)     Use STREAM to FIFO based on this ISR in order to soft process data in order to discard or not the event => I want to use INT1 to warm me when the FIFO is fullINT2 works fine but the STREAM to FIFO always generate interrupt (At the end of 32 frames reading, the interrupt INT1 rise UP even though INT2 don’t move…).Can you help me to configure the device ?My configuration is :CTRL_REG1 = 0x4FCTRL_REG2 = 0x07CTRL_REG3 = 0x04CTRL_REG4 = 0x00CTRL_REG5 = 0x4BCTRL_REG6 = 0x60INT1_CFG = 0x7FINT2_CFG = 0x6AINT2_THS = 0x05INT2_DURATION = 0x68After I clear Interrupt by reading both INT1_SRC and INT2_SRC.Finally I set FIFO_CTRL

We are experiencing big pressure variations with respect to 3/4 degrees of temp change. Is this normal? We are seeing up to half a millibar (2000 raw count) of difference changing the temp of the product by taking it in the hand. For our application this is not really manageable. Please let us know what are the compensation specs (time constants, error, etc...) Thanks in advance!

Hello, I am trying to set up a custom PCB with multiple sensors, including the VL53L3CX. As MCU, we are using the STM32G441KBU6, which seems to be too small for the bare driver API, and we did not find any acceptable alternative to the MCU. Is it possible to use the much smaller API from the VL53L1X with the VL53L3CX?
