Hi!I'm starting a hostless BlueNRG-M2 application (this application runs directly on BlueNRG-M2's Cortex-M0, not on an external MCU).I was able to find and run the example projects using the "STSW-BLUENRG1-DK" package, but I did not find a way to configure the pins and build a base project using CubeMX.I was wondering if there is support for this MCU on CubeMX or not. Because right now I'm using the examples to build my own application, and I'm not sure if that's the right approach.Thanks!

I want to use a STUSB4500LBJR for USB-C power delivery. On the datasheet stands that connecting the I2C lines is optional and in another datasheed of the STUSB4500 stands that I don't have to use a microcontroller. But I cannot find information about choosing a voltage output I want from the STUSB4500 on the internet.
Hello,I am using L9663 PSI5 transceiver for the development of a steering drive project. I have a doubt regarding the SPI communication. If I want to read a register content will I be able to get it in the same MISO data?For example, I am sending a 32-bit SPI data (MOSI) to read the content in register "SR1". Can I get the data in the received SPI frame (MISO)?Please clarify.Best RegardsVarun R
Hi!Can somebody help, what is the SPI command for triggering sync pulse on PSI5 channel? Auto generated sync pulse mode works fine but i can not find the corresponding SPI command for sync pulse triggering in datasheet.I would like to use the following:L9663 datasheet - page 36."Triggering via SPI without upstream data buffer. The microcontroller sends the corresponding SPI command for a sync pulse. The sync pulse trigger generator then internally generates the appropriate sync pulses, based on the specific SPI command sent."
Hello,As the title suggests, I would like to connect a maximum of 4 BlueNRG chips and a smartphone via Bluetooth. Unfortunately, I can't find any examples of this application and this chip on the internet. Am I just missing them or is there nothing there yet?
Hi,I would like to ask about possibilities to implement USB and I2C communication via USB cable, interchangeably, depending on the needs.I have STM32F401RCT6 in my project and currently I use USB OTG interface to connect data traveler but now I need to use this USB connector to connect other PCB with IC controlled via I2C.Is it possible to connect Data+ to SDA line and Data- to SCL line in the MCU and initialize only one interface e.g USB (I2C lines will stay not initialized and in Hi-Z state) in one time? And initialize I2C (USB lines will stay not initialized and in Hi-Z state) in another time?Is there anyone who has done something similar?Best Regards,Michael
When i use WISE Studio Build the demo project, Then Run;There comes the problem.My computer can recognize the board.Also The BlueNRG GUI Tools can read DK Serial port .But can not Successfully connected.There also the BlueNRG-LP Navigator tools.I don't know why this problem occurs.anybody have any idea?
For some reason I need to rewrite I2C functions from HAL to LL. As I aim to achieve good power consumption results, I decided to use DMA and IT in order to save as much resources as I can. There is all ok with writing data (HAL1 and LL1 pictures) but I'm struggling to receive data from slave using DMA and LL drivers. My observation - after read commands there is no STOP condition (HAL1 vs LL1 again) after transmission and instead 6 bytes I'm receving only 2 (HAL3 vs LL3). I'd appreciate any suggestions to solve the issue. I base on I2C DMA LL example.I know, there is not much details to take into consideration at this moment but maybe some of you have already faced the problem and point me to the right direction, what I'd appreciate.HAL1:LL1HAL2LL2HAL3LL3
Hi everyone,I'm confused in regars of BOM for SMPS for BlueNRG-LP. In the Reference Manual we can see the following recommandation: and in the document for the evaluation board there is another solution: Would it be possible to get an answer if both are correct and which of them is better to use and why?Regards,Grzegorz
I am using BLE_MeshLightingPRFNode example code.I am able to control the blue led LED1 in the P-Nucleo-WB55 board by pressing the toggle button on the ST BLE MESH android app. i want to use the SW2 or SW3 Push button on the nucleo board to turn ON and OFF the blue led. but at the same time the Blue Led Pin State should be reflected on the Android app toggle button. Example:if i turn OFF the Blue LED using manual Push button then Toggle button on the mobile app should be OFF.if i turn ON the Blue LED using manual Push button then Toggle button on the mobile app should be ON.Kindly suggest me which function and which page i have to do the modification.or if any of the ble mesh example code is supporting this feature please let me know.Also do i need to change anything in the Android / IOS App code ?
Hello,I have a high power consumption during deepstop. The goal is less than 5µA (announced less than 1 in the datasheet).I removed every other chips on my custom board to found the solution. It's a small board.When I enter in deepstop mode (without RTC, without any wake-up to test), the current starts at 2-3µA and slowly increases to +-50µA in around 20 seconds. Then the current is stable. We think that it's related with the temperature, if the board is "hot", the starting current is higher.If I freeze the board, the current change (increase or decrease, it's "random").I setup PWRC_PUCRx and PWRC_PDCRx according to my board.Do you know where this issue could come from?Thank you
I have modified the BlueNRG sensor demo adding a new characteristic to turn on/off a LED. I want to be notified when the client (the smartphone) sends data so I can check the written value to change the LED status accordinly. I have tried many options but I am not being notified for writes, only for reads.This is the characteristic added (just bellow de humidity characteristic):COPY_LED_CHAR_UUID(uuid); ret = aci_gatt_add_char(envSensServHandle, UUID_TYPE_128, uuid, 2, CHAR_PROP_WRITE | CHAR_PROP_WRITE_WITHOUT_RESP, ATTR_PERMISSION_NONE, GATT_NOTIFY_WRITE_REQ_AND_WAIT_FOR_APPL_RESP | GATT_NOTIFY_ATTRIBUTE_WRITE, 16, 0, &ledCharHandle); if (ret != BLE_STATUS_SUCCESS) goto fail; charFormat.format = FORMAT_UINT16; charFormat.exp = -1; charFormat.unit = UNIT_UNITLESS; charFormat.name_space = 0; charFormat.desc = 0; uuid16 = CHAR_FORMAT_DESC_UUID; ret = aci_gatt_add_char_desc(envSensServHandle, ledCharHandle, UUID_TYPE_16, (u
@@Hello, I am trying to run the sensor demo ble with Nucleo H7 and BRNG2A1 Nucleo board but I am getting error -3 always inside the HCI_TL_SPI_Send.Attached is my ioc file. Can you please tell me what's wrong with this? I have followed the documentation inside the x-cube-ble2 for Nucleo 144 board. (STMicroelectronics.X-CUBE-BLE2_GettingStarted.pdf)Best Regards,P
Hello, Which one is the official and the only utility to flash the BlueNRG2 ( IDB00BV2, X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 as well as modules) https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-bnrg1stlink.htmlorhttps://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-bnrgflasher.htmlorBlueNRG1-2 flasher Utility? ( Though I didn't find its link now, earlier I used to use this)Thanks to answer this.Best !
The 54AC2525 IBIS Model does not have worst-case corners set up in the model. The model is instead set to run at TYP (3.3V), MIN (2.5V), and MAX (5V). Typically, MIN and MAX are process corners are 3.0V and 3.6V covering the min/max supply. Is there a way to get an ibis model with the actual worst-case/best-case corners at 3.3V? Thanks!
is there anyway to get the latest version source code of BLE Sensor APP?currently, I can get is 4.9.0 from github, but cannot build successfully.the newest Android BLE Sensor APK is 4.16.4, where can I get the source code?thank you.
I'm working with (still) IDB011V1. There is an issue with using SWD connection to BlueNRG-LP. I can connect to the device via SWD, when the device is erased via UART, but after I flash the BlueNRG-LP, I can't connect it via SWD anymore.Any solution for it?******MASS ERASE OPERATION******Mass Erase Boards: COM8 (ST DK)10:01:56.838: Device COM8 (ST DK) -> Mass Erase: Started10:01:58.548: Device COM8 (ST DK) -> Mass Erase: Finished10:01:58.548: Device COM8 (ST DK) -> Mass Erase: Flash memory successfully erased.******START FLASH OPERATION******Flash Boards: COM8 (ST DK)10:02:33.064: Device COM8 (ST DK) -> Device Identification10:02:34.406: Device COM8 (ST DK) -> Flash Programming...10:02:36.414: Device COM8 (ST DK) -> Flash Programming: SUCCESS.10:02:36.438: Device COM8 (ST DK) -> Flash Memory Verifying...10:02:39.422: Device COM8 (ST DK) -> Flash Memory Verifying: SUCCESS.******END FLASH OPERATION************FLASH READ OPERATION******Read of n.1 device connected b
For estimating the MTBF value (hours or FIT) of the ST7540 powerline communication IC I would like to know it's complexity. How many transistors are used in this device?

@Winfred LU Hello i have been using bluenrg-2 module for quite some time and i have noticed that after working well for the 2-4 days continuously sometimes the module does not show up in scan request i.e. it does not advertises. I'm sure the while there is an advertisement issue the device is working well because that i can verify via the device logs which are generated by the device application code. Has anyone else faced this issue if so please help me out.Thanks and Regards
