Hi,I'm using the RTC in clock watch mode to wakeup after a long period.I've tested the RTC_ClockWatch project into my dev kit, that works OK, but the RTC values are always lost after a reset. In my case the main power is always ON, so I espect the RTC values was mantained. Anyone can help to figure out if this is possible or not in this BlueNRG?Thanks!
Hello,I'm playing a little bit with your BLUETILE eval kit and with my own board using a BLUENRG-M2SA. both are running at 32Mhz.Using the SensorDemo firmware from the BLUETILE DK, I noticed that the battery voltage sent by both modules were slowly decreasing, whereas both boards were plugged to my PC (so it is not a battery voltage that is discharging, voltage is constant).I checked the device limitation here : https://www.st.com/resource/en/errata_sheet/dm00511358-the-bluenrg2-device-limitations-stmicroelectronics.pdf and I found that ADC is not working properly on 32Mhz so you patched it with the ADC_2411_WORKAROUND by switching clock to 16Mhz and then back to 32Mhz during ADC reading. So it is intended to work properly, isn't it ?(EDIT) Workaround in BlueNRG1_ADC.c:/* x = 1: Workaround for running ADC with 32 MHz clock - Run the APB bus @ 16 MHz; x = 0: Restore the APB bus @ 32 MHz */ #define AHBUPCONV_STATUS ((volatile uint32_t *)0x40C00004) static inline void ADC_2
Hello, please how can I connect a STEVAL-IDB012V1 board with an arduino (if it is possible of course), if not is there a mobile application with which I can connect to this board and retrieve the pressure and acceleration values?
Hi community,in the example code BLE_SensorDemo_BlueMSapp there are two places where the device name is set, this one looks reasonable for the device name, but I tried to change it, actually this does not affect the device name, which is shown in the mobile, at all. and the other one, this does really affect the device name in the mobile phone.***************************************************************I want to make the code clean and use only one global variable to set the device name, how shall I reorganise the code?

Dear Team,we are going to develop an IO module series with digital Inputs/Outputs. We have developed previous all products using STM32F407VET6,100pins controller and for IO modules series we will be using ST controller only but rest components are yet to be finalized. for digital output series, we required provision of both dry contact and wet contacts with over current protection. so, could you share schematic or circuit diagram to achieving this ?Kindly check this and let me know.Hoping to hear from you soon. Thanks & Regards,Prajwal Bhusedesign@avyannatech.com
Hi, we were looking at eval board STEVAL-USBC2D to help with designing a USB-C to eDP bridge, but we need this with a USB-C receptacle, is this possible, and how would it be possible?
Hello everyone!I have succesfully connected my p2pRouter (it is a STM32WB5x) to a p2pServer (always STM32WB5x). On the Server there is an IMU and I want to send data from server to router via bluetooth. If I connect my phone to the server with STBLESensorAPP and select accelerometer feature it works and I can see accelerometer data on my phone. But it doesn't happen the same when I do this with router.Specifically, on server side, accelerometer data are stored in a service called My_P2PServer using the following functions: ret = aci_gatt_add_service(UUID_TYPE_128, (Service_UUID_t *) &uuid, PRIMARY_SERVICE, &
I want a project to be done urgently using STM32F103C8T6 controller using CUBEMX. This project has a requirement of sending some measured data to cell phone using mobile's hotspot (and not using internet. Basically I need to send it through TCP/IP). I tried using ESP8266 but couldnot find the proper libraray implementation for the same that I can use easily. Can you guys recommend a best wifi module that I can use with this controller and get the project ready soon. Appreciate the library links in the answer description. Cost of the module does not matter.
A BLE Project for developed on steval-mksbox1v1 which had SPBTLE-1s.Since it became NRND we switched to BlueNRG-M2SA Module which has same footprint.Using the BlueNRG-1_2 DK 3.2.3 I have tried to get build the project with following pin changes as per mksbox connections - in hw_config.h#define SPI_CS_PIN GPIO_Pin_1#define SPI_OUT_PIN GPIO_Pin_2#define SPI_IN_PIN GPIO_Pin_3#define SPI_CLCK_PIN GPIO_Pin_0 But to my despair the in the built project binaries flashed into the module, the IRQ pin never becomes high in this firmware and the HCI code does not progress as IRQ low. In short the module does not initialize.I have used projects from following paths.BlueNRG-1_2 DK 3.2.3\Project\BLE_Examples\DTM\MDK-ARM\STEVAL-IDB008V1MBlueNRG-1_2 DK 3.2.3\Project\BLE_Examples\DTM\MDK-ARM\STEVAL-IDB007V1MAfter nothing of above worked, we had previous removed the ble firmware from the mksbox ble module and this particular firmware works fine on both the SPBTLE-1S and BlueNRG-M2SA with a issue tha
According to the STM AN5366, a filter has to be interposed b/ween the PSI1 pin of the L9663 IC and the line to the sensor. In my application, the sensor has an IDATA pin and a VDD pin as well, so my customer has developed a working demo circuit which has got a fork after the PSI1 pin: one line, unfiltered, reaches the sensor IDATA pin, while the other line of the fork gets filtered and reached the VDD pin. Now, since I have to design an engineering board for that, I need to know whether the fork is actually needed or it is a mistake of my customer, and to know all pros and cons.May I reach an STM expert please?Thank you.Regards,Marco
Hi,Based on AN4872, I managed to get the id, version, erase, read and write memory commands working. I'm able to erase the entire flash of a BRNG-M2SA or BNRG-M2SP and write a pre-built example bin file to the flash and read it back, without errors. However, none of the applications seem to run, which makes me think that I'm missing something in this process. I had a look at the 'go' command, but could not understand if it it is mandatory to call it after flashing. A reset, with the boot pin pulled down to ground should be enough to reboot the module for normal start-up, or am I wrong? Thanks
Hi team, Kindly assist us the below mentioned queries. For the some ST microelectronics part data sheet, can not specify the thermal parameter such as junction to case thermal resistance and junction to board thermal resistance. we need those values for the thermal simulation.so, can you please provide these data as soon as possible.the part series number, I mentioned below: 1) ST890DTR2) BCP56-163) SMAJ5.0A-TR4) SMAJ15A-TR5) STL13N60DM26) TS924AIPT7) STTH4R02U8) SM6T200CALooking for your soonest response.
Hi,Could you please help me find the reliability MTBF/FIT data for STM ESDCAN24-2BLY. Thank You !
Hello,Background: Since BlueNRG-M2 co-processor comes without a FW image from the factory I need to flash the FW at our location. We do not have space to add J-link header on our custom board. So we are looking to update BlueNRG-M2 FW image via our main controller (STM32F429NI). The main controller and the BlueNRG-M2 are connected via SPI lines. I used the example code IFRStackUpdater that comes with the software package X-CUBE_BLE2 and updated one of the custom board(Board 1) BlueNRG-M2 successfully. Problem Statement: When I tried to do the same for Board 2, the update was not successful. I need to have an understanding of how this works. Question: What is the procedure or steps involved in updating the FW for BlueNRG-M2? Is there a writeup that I can read about somewhere? In the IFRStackUpdater code I can see that your using the MOSI pin of SPI to activate the internal bootloader. RegardsDhaksha

Ive been trying out the different examples on the navigator, and have noticed when using my ble scanner, my device cannot discover the beacon example. I have compared the code with the sensor example which is discoverable and they are very similar apart from the gat server, Does anyone know if this is a bug or if there is something I am missing. I know the BLE sensor is not connectable compared to the sensor, but I don't think this is the reason for it not being discoverableThanks.
My BLE (BlueNRG-MS) application has to offer the following functions and I'm not sure what's the correct approachI need to have a pairing mode where a central device can connect. I think this is achieved by using aci_gap_set_discoverable() with NO_WHITE_LIST_USE, this seems to workWhen the application is not in the pairing mode, only devices which have been paired already should be able to connect. This is where I thought I can use whitelist by change the aci_gap_set_discoverable() with WHITE_LIST_FOR_ALL. Is this assumption correct and can I switch between the two discoverability modes without losing an already established connection? To be able to use the WHITE_LIST_FOR_ALL, I add devices which connect while in pairing mode to the whitelist using hci_le_add_device_to_white_list(0x01, cc->peer_bdaddr) - is this how it should be done? If yes, what do I have to do in order to save the whitelist persistently, because it seems that after a reboot, I don't see the BLE device anymore when
Hello,i need to configure the same device as Server, Client and observer simultaneouslyis it right to initialise like this ?//GAP Inituint8_t bluetooth_role = 0;bluetooth_role |= GAP_PERIPHERAL_ROLE;bluetooth_role |= GAP_CENTRAL_ROLE;bluetooth_role |= GAP_OBSERVER_ROLE;ret = aci_gap_init(bluetooth_role, 0x00, sizeof(device_name), &generic_service_handle, &dev_name_char_handle, &appearance_char_handle); and what is the rule to manage scanning and advertising intervals ? Thank you,Sincerely.
Hello,My BlueNRG-2 disconnect automatically during the data transfer for OTA.otherwise (on normal use) the connection is maintain for more than hour. how can i know the disconnection reason of my BlueNRG device ?Or if i is a common problem, how can i resolve it ?Than you,Sincerely.
Doesn't anyone here know if StMicro partner with Echelon? The die says "STmicro" but part is Echelon?
Hi Everyone,I'm using BlueNRG LPS as a network co-processor with STM32L4 Nucleo Board. I'm sending 30 bytes data in every 10ms from stm32 to bluenrg LPS in Non-Block manner, and after 3000 bytes I have to send to packet end command (blocked). So there are 2 problems I'm facing -1) In my mobile app I'm not able to receive any data,2) When I put the breakpoint in my code then able to receive data in mobile app, but not able to receive full data, in that also able to receive packet end. NOTE - To verify the code logic, I have run the same program flow in Bluenrg-MS and using that able to receive full data without any problem. Function I'm using to send - if( aci_gatt_srv_notify(connection_handle, notifyhandle+1, GATT_NOTIFICATION, 20, buffer) == BLE_STATUS_INSUFFICIENT_RESOURCES) { busy_count++ } else { pass++ } If not able to send as per above logic then it'll send same data again in next iteration(after 10ms). connection parameter -1) in
Dear Sir / Madam, I am reaching out to ask about CE RED certified evaluation kits that include an NFC reader, as I am starting a project based on NFC technology. Could you kindly provide me with a comprehensive list of available evaluation kits meeting these specifications? Thank you in advance for your assistance. Kindly,Luigi
Hello.I have a problem with S2-LP. I can’t switch S2-LP on a custom board to the TX state. I get the error 0x14 "Error state due to a failure in LOCK operation". The same firmware with the module RC-S2LP-868 works without errors. As an example for the custom board, I used X-NUCLEO-S2868A2 circuit schematic: https://www.st.com/en/ecosystems/x-nucleo-s2868a2.html#cad-resources. This circuit uses BALF-SPI2-01D3, and the module RC-S2LP-868 without BALF-SPI2-01D3. Is it possible that this is causing the error?Thank youBest regards
When writing through a translator, I apologize in advance for any awkward sentences.I am a developer who started working with STM32 less than a year ago.I'm currently working on a project at my company using the STM32F767.What I set up was simply Transmit Only Slave, and I set SPI 1, 2, and 3 channels to DMA respectivelyto send values whenever the other party requests data. SPI1 = DMA2 Stream3 SPI2 = DMA1 Stream6 SPI3 = DMA1 Stream5 It was set up in a circular manner. The problem occurred when the other party's SPI request came at a frequency of approximately 10kHz.The data of SPI2 and SPI3 were displayed normally, but the data of SPI1 was displayed as different datathan the data I sent. For example, if you sent 10, 5 and 20 were displayed on the receiving end. Please advise on why the above problem occurred.
