I am looking at using the STUSB4710 in a specific application where when the device is installed, it can be configured to support different maximum power output levels. So I really have a few questions.Q1. The data sheet says "The STUSB4710 has a set of user-defined parameters that can be customized by NVM re-programming and/or by software through I2C interface." I can see some registers, SRC_PDO1-5, with zero information of what to write to these. Where is the information about how to program these registers?Q2. Ideally, I'd like to write to NVM the appropriate configuration chosen. The data sheet says "The NVM re-programming is possible few times with a customer password." Though there is no information about how to write back to the NVM, or how many times this is supported. Where can I get this information?Q3. If I go with dynamic writing of the SRC_PDO registers, can I use a separate 5V supply to the VDD pin, rather than what will be VBUS power output? Why, well if t
I am currently working on a PCB for a low energy Bluetooth application and we decided to use the BlueNRG-332ac QFN32 package. Now I want to know if there is any difference between the BlueNRG-LPS and BlueNRG-332ac.Also I am looking for a BOM for the schematic, especialy a value for VCAP. Thanks in advance.
Dear ST Community Support,We are currently evaluating the ST4SIM-200M eSIM module for integration into our IoT devices and would like to clarify some details regarding its activation and compatibility.Specifically, we would like to confirm whether the ST4SIM-200M is exclusively activated through Truphone, or if there are alternative connectivity management platforms or MNOs (Mobile Network Operators) that support activation of this eSIM.Could you please provide a list of other compatible platforms or partners, if any, who can provision and activate the ST4SIM-200M eSIM?Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated as it will help us with network planning and deployment decisions.Thank you in advance for your support.Best regards, manoj
When looking at the datasheet for the ST67W611M1, it seems that pins CHIP_EN, SPI_CS, and SPI_RDY are all High active. Is this really correct, or are some signals simply missing the bar on top? Also, the description for pin BOOT doesn't indicate which value is for SPI and which one is for UART. Could you please clarify? Finally, are RESERVED pins simply NC, or should I do something else with them? (The forum labels apparently haven't been updated yet to include "Wifi".) Thanks,Lars
Hi Team, Do you support USB type C PD 3.1 supporting 240W for sink applicat? If yes, please suggest a suitable part number with the datasheet. If you do not support 240W, please let us know the maximum power supported by STM for USBPD 3.1 application. Warm Regards,Mythili B
Hello everyone.I'm currently building a controller for this energy measurement chip.So far, I've built my controller and can perform a remote reset and read data, but when I want to configure a register, I send my desired configuration, but when I read it, it remains at zero.I've already reviewed and applied all the suggestions in the application note. I'm using "SPI" (some type) to send the data. The chip is powered at 3.3V, a 4.194MHz crystal, and the signals are configured according to the AN3254 application note.My configuration sequence is:- Remote reset.- Wait for 120ms.- Send the RD register at 1 to retrieve the temporary shadow registers.- Send my desired configuration.- Read all registers.I don't know why I'm not seeing the configurations reflected in the registers.Attached are screenshots of RRR signals, readings and writings.
Hello,Could you please provide a simple example source code to operate an S2-LP transceiver under the following conditions? My MCU is an STM32F103 connected via SPI1.A 25 MHz crystal is fitted to the S2-LP.External SMPS (1.8 V) is used.I want to transmit at 420 MHz with 0 dBm output power.Data rate is 10 kbps, using 2-GFSK modulation with 20 kHz frequency deviation.Payload is any 20 bytes of data.Thank you!
Hello everyone, I’m trying to control an S2-LP QTR via SPI1 on an STM32F103VCT. I completed the initial setup and configured the radio to 420 MHz. I then wrote a routine to transmit periodically, but I’m not seeing any RF output on the antenna pin. Below is the code I’m using for the S2-LP QTR. Any ideas what might be going wrong? void S2LP_Init(void) { // 1 : SDN pin LOW -> Enter operating mode S2LP_SDN_LOW(); // SDN LOW → 동작모드 HAL_Delay(10); // 2 : soft reset (SRES) // S2LP_SoftReset(); S2LP_SetCommand(CMD_SRES); // 3 : Setting XO/ RCO // Disable digital clock divider -> digital clock = fxo S2LP_WriteReg(XO_RCO_CONF1_ADDR, PD_CLKDIV_REGMASK); S2LP_WriteReg(XO_RCO_CONF0_ADDR, EXT_REF_REGMASK | GM_CONF_REGMASK); // 4 : SMPS power management configuration // 4-1 : internal smps // S2LP_WriteReg(PM_CONF4_ADDR, 0x00); // PM_CONF0: SET_SMPS_LVL = 011b → 1.4V (HPM), SLEEP_MODE_SEL=0 // S2LP_WriteReg(PM_CONF0_ADDR, SET_SMPS_LVL_REGMASK
Hello,I'm trying to make a low power device with ST BlueNRG-LP (455M). I have an incomprehensible error with the BLE.I set BLE advertising with advertising data and scan response every 10 seconds (adv_interval=10000). ret = aci_gap_set_advertising_configuration(0, GAP_MODE_GENERAL_DISCOVERABLE, ADV_PROP_CONNECTABLE|ADV_PROP_SCANNABLE|ADV_PROP_LEGACY, (adv_interval*1000)/625,(adv_interval*1000)/625, ADV_CH_ALL, NON_RESOLVABLE_PRIVATE_ADDR,NULL, ADV_NO_WHITE_LIST_USE, 0, /* 0 dBm */ LE_1M_PHY, /* Primary advertising PHY */ 0, /* 0 skips */ LE_1M_PHY, /* Secondary advertising PHY. Not used with legacy advertising. */ 0, /* SID */ 0 /* No scan request notifications */);After this I set advertisement data and scan response ret = aci_gap_set_advertising_data(0, ADV_COMPLETE_DATA, sizeof(BLE_AdvertisementData), BLE_AdvertisementData); ret =
我的 L9663 SPI 无法正常工作,我想通过寄存器读取L9663的设备ID,但接收回来都是0XFFFF。我现在使用的MCU是STM32F103C8T6,以下是我的计划,希望大佬们帮我看一下有没有问题。
I'm experiencing a problem with the ST IO-Link Sensorkit and Master (STEVAL-IDP003V1/STEVAL-IDP004V2). I've connected the Master device via USB and used the TEConcept Control Tool as described in the ST instructions. Everything went smoothly up to step 6/7 according to document UM2232. However, from this point onward, I'm not receiving the expected data from the sensor. Instead, I'm getting the message "Invalid Data," preventing me from plotting any data. Could it be that the sensor needs further configuration? Or is there perhaps a write protection or similar feature that needs to be deactivated? Could there be a malfunction with the Sensorkit? I've checked the setup: The Master communicates via USB. I've ruled out a cable breakage by testing with multiple cables. Errors with the sensor daughter board have been ruled out as I've tested with both a temperature and inclination sensor. The IODD files are correctly integrated. The daughter board is correctly inserted. I would appreciate

Dear Manager.Hello, I am a student studying at a Korean university.I am developing a two-channel small ultrasound system.1. Try to use STHV748, a 4-channel pulser, as a pulsar, and don't use the other 2 channels. Should I connect to GND for channels I'm not currently using?2. If I want to use it as a three-levels pulser instead of a five-level pulser, should I supply the same high voltage to HVP0_X and HVP1_X? Or should I connect HVP1_X to GND?Thank you. From hwijin.
Hi to everybody and thank you in advance. I'm planning tu use the STISO620 as a function replacement for old-school optocouplers. STISO620 matches in every metric. My plan is use the part to interface an STM32 MCU.My application will detect falling edge pulses by interrupt, so I need a pullup on the MCU side to hold the high level on RX of the STISO620 while there is no excitation on the TX side.My question is: Will the adequate pullup hold the RX line high when TX states are X and power supplies well stablished?Best wishes,
hi all, i want to configure the L9963e Bms Ic from externel mcu and i need to implement the communication to the BMS so that i can read read and write the register values i.e, vcells values etc .Thank you
Hi all,I am designing a 48 volt to 12 volt 3 amp DCDC asynchronous buck converter (with frequency > 200kHz) and I found the L7987. Although it says asynchronous in the datasheet, it looks like synchronous in the block diagram. I am confused, can someone explain?
I need to interface Digital input sensors of PNP & NPN type both in one of my product. Can I use SCLT3-8BT8 to interface both the type of sensors? Ho should we detect high side & low side through SPI lines on microcontroller? Thanks for your help in advance!
Trace code for M41T81SM6FOn label trace code mentioned is CZ441 but on part it is MZ441Our IQC team wish to know why it is different.
Hi, I would like to explore the possibility of using the sub1GHz product solution from ST, particularly, the part number S2-LPTX.Here are the requirements1. We need One Receiver and 4 Transmitter (as shown in the image) which are operating at 433MHz ISM bands.2. Need to send data from all 4 transmitters to the one receiver simultaneouslyQ1: Is it possible to pair 4 no's transmitters to the receiver by the help of the MCU on board?Q2. Is there any co-existence issue occur when we operate more than one unit if it is placed close by (1 Unit = 4 Tx + 1Rx) Q3. If simultaneous data transmission mentioned in point 2 not possible, will time multiplexed mode of operation possible?Q4. Do we need to implement any SW based protocol to avoid co-existence issues?Q5. Is there any particular procedure to take care during pairing of Tx and Rx?Q6. What could be the possible coverage distance if we use these modules?
Hello,I recently purchased the STEVAL-IDP004V2 board, and I'm encountering an issue when connecting it with the GUI V2 ST and the TE Concept IO-Link application. The same error repeatedly appears: "master application 6148 Appears and Disappears."Could anyone provide guidance on how to resolve this issue?Thank you in advance for your help.
Hello,I have questions about the STUSB1600:1. Mouser marks the device as "obsolete". What is the EOL of the STUSB1600 and what alternative is recommended (STUSB1700?)?2. The STUSB1600 is connected to the MP1 via I2C. I need to program the NVM "in system" with custom values but did not find / missed the information (in the datasheet) on how to do so. Any Idea (apart from the external programming with this NUCLEO board)?
Hi,I'm trying to configure DIO1 and DIO0 as outputs in my custom board, but I can't get them to work. I'm using this basic code to test:SysCtrl_PeripheralClockCmd(CLOCK_PERIPH_GPIO, ENABLE); GPIO_InitOutputPinx(GPIO_Pin_6); GPIO_SetBits(GPIO_Pin_6); // Sets DIO6 high correctlyHoweverSysCtrl_PeripheralClockCmd(CLOCK_PERIPH_GPIO, ENABLE); GPIO_InitOutputPinx(GPIO_Pin_1); GPIO_SetBits(GPIO_Pin_1); // Does nothingSame thing happens with GPIO_Pin_0, but just with 0 & 1 (module pins 15 & 18). No high load that could tie to ground or draw a lot of current on these pins.Could you please help? Thanks.
I am looking for ST60A3 (B2309+B2310 or B1214+B2310 etc...)discovery kit in Taiwan.I try to find it on the official STMicroelectronics store, but I could not find any related information. How to buy ST60A3 discovery kit in Taiwan?
Hello, I'm using STEVAL-IDB011V2. From the BlueNRG-LP Navigator, I can load the examples on the board. But when I'm using the Keil, it says "SWD/JTAG Communication Failure".On the options for target in the tab "Device" the device is BlueNRG-355, and the Software Pack is "Keil.STBlueNRG-LP_DFP.2.0.0". In the tab "Debug" it uses "CMSIS-DAP Debugger".Cannot erase the code either. Jumpers J3-J5 are all in place and not faulty.SW device error. Not sure what else to try. Thanks heaps
Dear Support,Good day. What is the meaning of the suffix that indicated on the label itself for the second line part no.?Is it because of the COO that makes the suffix different? Or it’s just the internal code for STMIC?
