Posted on December 23, 2012 at 23:17Good night,I'm using a TDA2822M to drive headphones in a breadboard prototype, but the problem is the amplifier that captures every RF interference such that of power switches and electric engines.Could this be a consequence of the high gain of the amplifier and the high input resistance, the circuit used was the same as suggest in the datasheet of the device.Thank you very much for your atention,Best regards,Daniel Almeida
Posted on January 02, 2013 at 19:50I'm using the TSC888A current sensing amplifier in BLDC (brushless DC) motor controller current limit circuit. I'm seeing a gain of about 10 from the amplifier instead of the published typical value of 20. The data sheet does not specify a min or max gain but does state an output accuracy of 6%. With a 0.05 ohm series resistor and 1.2A current I am seeing an output voltage of 650mV. According to my calculations I should be seeing 1.2V (1.2*0.05*20).Vcc and Vp are both connected to same 12V power bus.Has anyone else seen this problem? #tsc888
Posted on August 01, 2012 at 21:19Hi,I am working on an instrumentation amplifier circuit. I would like to perform a noise analysis on the circuit and would like to get a SPICE model for the TS9224 opamp. I am using LTSpice. I could also use some help in understanding the output I get from the noise analysis.ThanksScott Gauche #ts9224-noise-spice

Posted on June 06, 2012 at 17:17I am adopting the TS922 family and I have a 16Volt rail on my PCB board. I am thinking to use a rail splitter (+/- 8Volts) or I can always step down the supply voltage if needed. The supply voltage of TS922 listed in the datasheet appears at 2.7Volts to 12Volts. Is this ±12Volts or 12Volts total?

Posted on May 04, 2012 at 17:05Hello,In datasheet, sometimes maximum output current is indicated (IsourceMin, Typ, Max), sometimes it is missing. What is the best method to determine if an OpAmp can supply enough current to our load? Thanks for the support,Jean #maximum-isink-isource #maximum-output-current #isource
Posted on April 06, 2012 at 10:05Dear forum members,Perhaps, you wonder what is the difference between single and dual supplies ?Or maybe if the op-amp will have the same behavior with Vcc= 0 -> 5V or Vcc= +/- 2.5V.It is important to keep in mind that all voltages have a reference. It means that we have to think : difference of potential. Most of the time, when we say Vcc=5V, it means a potential difference of 5V referenced to the GND : 0V.As a conclusion, we can deduce that both of the following configuration will have the same behavior : But, there is a point that you should take into consideration. In your application, it is not as simple as it looks like to switch from one configuration to the other one. Actually, you have to take into account all your voltages. Here you can find a simple example in order to illustrate it, if you want to switch from a configuration with Vcc= 0 -> 5V to a configuration with Vcc = +/- 2.5V : Actually, in the 2nd configuration the output vol

Posted on December 05, 2011 at 11:19Hello,I would like to use macromodels to simulate my schematics but I am not able to find them.I think that they are available because in the TSV6239 datasheet it is mentioned :Two accurate macromodels (with or without shutdown feature) of the TSV629x are available on STMicroelectronics web site at www.st.com.Thank you for your support. #macromodels #op-amps-spice-macromodel #op-amps
Posted on November 18, 2011 at 15:17 Dear Forum Members, Id like to share a few tips on the usual process I use to select an Op Amp based on pre-defined technical requirement. The tool I use more often is the product selector, which can be accessed by clicking on the following icon from ST home page: Then select in the product tree: Amplifiers and Comparators > Amplifiers. Here is also direct link to thehttp://www.st.com/stonline/stappl/productcatalog/app?page=productSelector:http://www.st.com/stonline/stappl/productcatalog/app?page=productSelector The next step is then to use the Filter Panel in order to refine the technical requirements. Tip1: use the arrows to see all the filtering parameters. Tip2: use the icon close to the parameter name to toggle the filter type between tick case and slider. In my typical Op Amp selection, I would firstly apply filter on the more obvious (and restrictive) parameters, like voltage rating Vcc, number of channel or automotive gr
