MacOS not supported, can't participate (Oct 8th)

I did expect this to be development platform neutral but had to find out that I will not be able to participate since I don't use Windows.

Dear Mr Korber,

The hands-on security worshop material doesn't support MacOS but you can still attend to get the theoretical part and see the hands-on running as demo

( presenter will execute all the hands-on). You will also have possibility to exchange with us about security topics on STM32.

Of course, it's up to you.

We haven't validate this workshop in MacOS environment but find below some info which could be interesting for you.

CubeIDE/CubeProgrammer version exist in MacOS version ( to be downloaded from the site)

TFM/SBSFU package support Linux/MacOS.

Some tips here :

To compile the SBSFU/TFM package in Linux/MacOS env :

      Insure about right of file

Some conversion of DOS format file to Linux ( mainly on .sh file)

You need to use the python version of the script embedded

There is an issue for the embedded loader of the package that is using Y-Modem interface ( thanks Tera-Term software)..

Under Linux/MacOS mini com with Y-modem should be used, there is flag (MINICOM_YMODEM) for this in The SBSFU config but not yet in the TFM delivery.

Adding insult to injury the Microsoft platform does not accept Safari, one of the most widespread browsers and I am now in a login limbo with the stupid Microsoft platform.

Please use platform neutral tools, this is a total waste of my time. There is absolutely no reason to use this mediocre stuff from Microsoft, it just antagonzies users who do not want to use their software.

I have given up on the workshop.

Next time please specify that only Windows users can participate.
