PA9 - USART1 TX evaluation board STM3210E-EVAL

Hello
I'm using the CN12 connector of the evaluation board STM3210E-EVAL to print out some traces. It works very well. But now I want to use the pin 7 (PA9 - USART1 TX) from the connector CN10 and connect it directly to the serial cable in order to leave the connector CN12 free (it's a kind of test) But it doesn't work. I have some output but its not readable, just garbage like: '[5=7IE¿åëRggÖ6VýY5' In the document UM0488 I cannot see any electronic component used in the connection of the PA9 to CN12 or CN10. So I just used a simple wire to connect the PA9 to the RX entry on my cable. How can I do to get my traces? Sorry, I don't know if I am clear enough. Thanks!2011-05-17 04:02 AM
In fact I missed the convertor ST3232ECTR when I look into the manual UM0488 :o
