Hi ksm0100100,
I have seen on STR7 forums a design connecting 1G and 2Gbytes NAND Flash with STR710 ( ST ARM7 device with External Memory interface) for Mass Storage application and it seems the connection is not complex using only the External Memory Interface Bus and so GPIO for control signal. I believe that it would be the same with STM32 coming this Year from ST as said by STOne-32 and in ST Datasheets in Future Family enhancement section. Another Idea, is to use some of the STM32 GPIOs and using DMA we can make the connection easy with minimum CPU loading, Look at Section ''4.3 GPIO fast data transfer with DMA'' :) MagigimixOptions
