Hello Everyone,
I'm struggling to setup communications between two 868 MHz sub-GHz modules. The first module is the STEVAL-IDS001V4M (USB dongle with SPSGRF-868) and the second module is the STEVAL-SP1ML868 (USB dongle with SP1ML-868). I'm using the Windows application 'SPIRIT1 DK Application v2.2.1' to configure the radio and packet settings of the STEVAL-IDS001V4M module, then using the 'Transmission Test' window to send the text 'Hello World'.The radio and packet settings for the STEVAL-IDS001V4M are as follows (configured via the GUI):
Frequency Base: 867.999967 MHzData Rate: 38.433 kbpsFrequency Deviation: 19.836 kHzChannel Filter: 102.115 kHzModulation: 2-FSKOutput Power: 0 dBmPacket Format: BASIC
Preamble Length: 4Sync Length: 4Sync Value: 0x88888888CRC: No CRCFEC: DisabledData Whitening: EnabledThe radio and packet settings for the STEVAL-SP1ML868 are as follows:S00:BAUD_RATE=115200S01:FREQUENCY=868000000S02:DATA_RATE=38400S03:MODULATION=0S04:OUTPUT_POWER=11.6S05:FREQ_DEVIATION=20S06:RX_FILTER=100S07:CS_MODE=0S08:RSSI_THRESHOLD=-130S09:PREAMBLE_LEN=4S10:SYNC_LENGTH=4S11:SYNC_VALUE=0x88888888S12:CRC_MODE=0S13:WHITENING=1S14:FEC=0S15:SOURCE_ADDR=0x00S16:DESTINATION_ADDR=0xffS17:MULTICAST_ADDR=0xeeS18:BROADCAST_ADDR=0xffS19:FILTER_CRC=0S20:FILTER_SOURCE=0S21:FILTER_DESTINATION=0S22:FILTER_MULTICAST=0S23:FILTER_BROADCAST=0S24:TX_RX_LED=1S25:RESERVED=S26:ESCAPE_SEQ=1S27:SOURCE_FILT_MASK=0x00S28:PAYLOAD_SIZE=32The data received from the STEVAL-SP1ML868 is:
ccy»{c#Something is being received but not 'Hello World'.
I assume the two dongles are compatible? They both use the SPIRIT1 module.
I'd be very grateful if anyone can help or provide any suggestions.
Mike.
