Software: X-CUBE-BLE1 (v. 2.5.2) http://www2.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/embedded-software/mcus-embedded-software/stm32-embedded-software/stm32cube-expansion-software/x-cube-ble1.html Example: Sensor Demo Application with DMA and low power mode (Project Name: DMA_LP_SDemo) 1) Equipment: NUCLEO-L053R8 + X-NUCLEO-IDB04A1 - Current consumption in operation mode advertising: about 15 �A - Current consumption in operation mode connections: about 130 �A 2) Equipment: NUCLEO-L053R8 + X-NUCLEO-IDB05A1 - Current consumption in operation mode advertising: about 300 �A !!! - Current consumption in operation mode connections: about 130 �A Power supply voltage 3.3 V. Dear Customer,
The difference in current consumption observed in Advertising mode is due to different default values for Minimum and Maximum Advertising Intervals used by X-NUCLEO-IDB04A1 and X-NUCLEO-IDB05A1 firmware, respectively. You can tune such values when calling the API: “aci_gap_set_discoverable()�.

I set the min and max advertising time. It was just what I needed. Now Current consumption is about 2 µA.
