I've spent some time looking over the STM32MP15x hardware manual but cannot confirm that the FMC levels (in SRAM mode) are 1.8v. Can this be confirmed or corrected please?
I'm trying to develop an application that puts the A7 into a low power mode and only uses the M4 to do some basic processing. I'm starting with the OpenAMP_TTY_echo_wakeup example. In the example it says to issue the following commands:echo "*delay" >/dev/ttyRPMSG0echo mem > /sys/power/stateThen after 20 seconds, the M4 will wake-up the A7. But when I have ANY M4 program running and I issue a:echo mem > /sys/power/stateI get the following error messages;root@stm32mp1:~# [ 1008.496994] PM: suspend entry (s2idle)[ 1008.499292] PM: Syncing filesystems ... done.[ 1008.509780] Freezing user space processes ... Hi,I've been trying to setup a cross compile environment using Docker for Windows, and I've run into a bit of trouble. I've setup the dockerfile so that during the build process of the image, I copy the SDK into the image and execute the .sh script.This is step 4 in the getting started section of the wiki, under "Develop on Arm Cortex-A7"/"Install the SDK":https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Getting_started/STM32MP1_boards/STM32MP157C-DK2/Develop_on_Arm%C2%AE_Cortex%C2%AE-A7/Install_the_SDKThe problem:Executing the SDK installation script does not work due to the following error:ST OpenSTLinux - Weston - (A Yocto Project Based Distro) SDK installer version 2.6-openstlinux-4.19-thud-mp1-19-02-20 ===================================================================================================================== You are about to install the SDK to "/STM32MPU_workspace/STM32MP15-Ecosystem-v1.0.0/Developer-Package/SDK". Hello,I am reading a sensor on m4 side. And debugging in production mode for the target.I have called printf function in main.c but I cant see anything when I run the program.Is it normal that I cant see any console while the program running ?
Just wondering if I can edit the pinctrl.dsi file to change the pins to the Raspberry Pi header, rather than the HDMI encoder, so I can try DPI Raspberry Pi displays. In CubeMX the LTDC and most of the peripherals are locked, just wondering if it is necessary to configure them there or if a device tree configuration is enough.Thanks
Hello,I am reimplementing the example application OpenAMP_TTY_echo in STM32MP157C-DK2.I want to exchange numerical data between M4 and dual A7. How can I do it ? which structure, channel or interface ?thanks in advance

Hi I use GT9147 touch IC on my stm32mp157 board. I found the stm32mp157c-ev1.dts use same chip. But the ev1 use GPIO14 of stmfx GPIO expander chip as TP_INT signal. The GPIO14 of stmfx configure as below code.486 hog_pins: hog { 487 pins = "gpio14"; 488 drive-push-pull; 489 bias-pull-down; 490 };Now, my board use PG7 as TP_INT signal. I also want to configure the pull-down property to PG7.Below is my touch panel code. gt9147@5d { compatible = "goodix,gt9147"; reg = <0x5d>; irq-gpios = <&gpiog 7 GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH>; irq-flags = <IRQ_TYPE_EDGE_RISING>; reset-gpios = <&gpiog 8 GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH>; status = "okay"; };So, my question is how to configure pull-down property of irq-gpio. I try to add "pinctrl-names" and "pinctrl-0" property to gt9147 section, but kernel shows pinctrl errors. In my opinion, other SoC platform support "hog" to config each gpio pins. Does the gpiog or pinctrl suppor this function in stm32mp1 platform?
Hi, I use system workbench to debug example project. The serial port and ethernet over usb are recognized by system workbench. Now, the debuger step is using openocd to connect target board. I follow the below link to setting the debug configuration options.https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Getting_started/STM32MP1_boards/STM32MP157C-DK2/Develop_on_Arm%C2%AE_Cortex%C2%AE-M4/Modify,_rebuild_and_reload_a_firmware
My circuit board USES PE6 to control the backlight, but it cannot be adjusted. How to modify the device tree of TIM15_CH2.EV1 is not regulated.EV1:panel_backlight: panel-backlight {compatible = "gpio-backlight";gpios = <&gpiod 13 GPIO_ACTIVE_LOW>;default-on;status = "okay";};
The software of the company is developed based on QT framework. Due to some limitations of the framework, opengles cannot be better used. Can you use linuxfb to run QT program?I can't find the /dev/fb0 interface:grinning_face:
How long does it take (approx) to rise or lower a GPIO pin fix configured to the M4 in the STM32MP157c, after issuing the command in the M4 code ? On our native STM32F409 board it takes around 10ns. I'm afraid the STM32MP1xx is much slower right ? Regards,Daniel
I note that some executables from an rPi work as is on the STM32MP1 board.
Hey all,I'm having some difficulties compiling the example QT image that's a part of the distribution package. As I get them ironed out, I'd like to start setting up my QT environment etc.I was wondering if there were any available precompiled images of this particular distro, similar to how they're available for the Starter package. Either from ST or from some kind soul with a lot of server bandwidth :)Thanks!
Hello!I'm trying to understand the interaction between CA7 and CM4.I need to acquire some real-time signals in CM4 and show the signal in a display on CA7.What is the easy way and what is the right way to do this?
Hi, We have an reference board for STM32MP157A-DK1 and in the board there is no Bluetooth module and Display in built.So is there any possibility to purchase the Bluetooth and Display modules and interface to the existing reference board.RegardsSrikanth.
Hi. I have an STM32MPU157-DK2 Board in Engeneering mode.i have power connected and the USB to the debug chip.The Connection is successfully established.I use a Terminal Programm to send and receive in hexadecimal numbers.My Connectiondetails are 57600 Baud, 8N1I send the first command 0x7F to establish a communication. it works.all following commands are by hand so there is a little time between the commands.I shorten the following communication a little bit,me is my terminal & me,bl is the bootloaderMe> 0x7FBL> 0x79Me> 0x00 0xFFBL> 0x79 0x07 0x40 0x00 0x01 0x02 0x03 0x11 0x21 0x31 0x79Me> 0x01 0xFEBL> 0x79 0x10 0x00 0x00 0x79Me> 0x02 0xFDBL> 0x79 0x01 0x05 0x00 0x79Me> 0x11 0xEE ( Read Memory)BL> 0x79Me> 0x10 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x10 (From 0x10000000,, SRAM1)BL> 0x79Me> 0x00 0xFF (1 Byte)BL> 0x790xE0 0xE0 0xE0 0x00 0xE0 0xE0 0xE0 0x00 (...)the output doesnt make much sense to me.I tried several lengths (1 byte, 33 Bytes, 256 bytes)and everytime
Hello,I have a STM32MP157C-DK2 board and did the hello world cross compile project with GTK and that work perfectly.Now I am trying to do cross compiling with Qt Creator. I used the same compiler as the GTK project but Qt Creator give me an error: The compiler (arm-linux-generic-elf-32bit) cannot produce code for the Qt version (x86-linux-generic-elf-64bit).Where I get a compatible qmake file for this compiler or how to generate it?Regards Marius
I have just bought an STM32MP157C-DK2 and would like to get started. I found a tool within the wiki which allowed me to select a bunch of the "getting started" sections and create a PDF. However. all the pages of the PDF just said I didn't not have permission to do this, or something like that. Trawling though documentation online is a lot more painful than something I can print, read offline and annotate. Where can I obtain or create PDF documentation?
Hi,I am only a bit familiar with embedded linux. I will develop a demo project with STM32MP157C-DK2 with C language:on M4 side, a sensor(BME280) and a vantilator (5v) are connected. Sensor is to read periodically and three numerical values( temp, humidity, pressure) will be send to A7 sideon A7 side a QT application will receive these three values and display them continuosly. Over this QT application, the user will be able to send on or off command for vantilator to M4.M4 will receive this command and then will start or stop the vantilator. At first, I should say, I played a bit with the board, did all the work which is called getting started with DK2 (https://wiki.st.com). Then I saw an article in bootlin about using BME280 sensor. But this article doesnt help me because it explains how to read the sensor from A7 (linux side). However I will read the sensor from M4 side.Honestly, I don't know how my roadmap will be. I mean where to start and which mechanisms, middlewares, packages, t
