I have stm32mpdk2 board and trying to interface a uart based peripheral ( nfc) .I have connected Tx , RX , Vdd, GND > pin (12,8,1,6) .tty driver is already enabled in the kernel. and the peripheral on powering up shows the init sequence correctly(led pattern is correct)below are the logs for dmesg | grep tty*[ 0.000000] Kernel command line: root=PARTUUID=e91c4e10-16e6-4c0e-bd0e-77becf4a3582 rootwait rw console=ttySTM0,115200[ 1.702933] 4000e000.serial: ttySTM3 at MMIO 0x4000e000 (irq = 53, base_baud = 4000000) is a stm32-usart[ 1.703246] serial serial0: tty port ttySTM3 registered[ 1.704628] 40010000.serial: ttySTM0 at MMIO 0x40010000 (irq = 54, base_baud = 4000000) is a stm32-usart[ 2.915213] printk: console [ttySTM0] enabled[ 7.768477] systemd[1]: Unnecessary job for /dev/ttySTM0 was removed.[ 7.781958] systemd[1]: Created slice system-getty.slice.[ 7.817838] systemd[1]: Created slice system-se
LMint 20 (based on Ubuntu 20) no ttyACM connection show up after the DK2 board is loaded with the Flash firmware using STM32 Programmer. The board boots as the wiki shows but no ttyACM devices show up to use with minicom.I am stuck.
With STM32MP157C-DK2, I like to exercise SPI5 hardware, to use this interface to do talk to FPGA and DSP chips. Hi CommunityIn the DT the TIM1, TIM4 and SPI4 are assigned to the M4 and in the pinmux the RSVD is set (DT attached). Booting A7 generates no ERROR during Kernel boot. I don't want to use a usb to serial adapter because I need the 9th bit available in the UART and this converters are not generally compatible with that
Hi, i wondering if there a way to add some GPIO pin to the DTS config so this pin will act like PONKEY of the STPMIC1 ?actually i need to implement power off button if there a problem with linux app...
Earyl booted M4 firmware via u-boot remoteproc.Synchronizing Blocking method: At the moment we use the blocking method (OpenAMP_Init function through to synchronizing the early booted M4 firmware with Linux A7. Synchronizing Non-blocking method:We would like to change this behevior to an non-blocking method.
Hi,I use stm32mp157a-dk1 board and sdcard boot.Host PC is win10, virtualbox and ubuntu 20.04.1I try this example but have some problem.https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/meta-st-stm32mp/blob/dunfell/recipes-kernel/linux/linux-stm32mp/README.HOW_TO.txtI don`t have folder "/media/$USER/bootfs/" and media/$USER/rootfs/lib/modules/My board complete this step.But error occurs this command . /media/sh/bootfs/ is not directory. (*'sh' is my user name) What is problem? ^^;;
We are using STM32MP157c-DK2 board. Using STM32MP_KeyGen_CLI tool generated public key, private key and publicKeyhash.bin. As mentioned in STM32 webpage, https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/KeyGen_tool Hash public key contains the SHA-256 hash of the public key in binary format which generated by Gen tool.Is there a way or steps to generate same publicKeyhash.bin (without using STM32 key_Gen tool) via openssl or any other crypto utility
Also is there any working tutorial regarding this discovery kit
Hello,I use STM32MP157C-DK2 with the last open st linux distribution (20-11-12). I try to enbale CAN network on microcontroller but I can't send message.I m sure of my code on microcontroller side because it's work fine with an other distribution.I change dts and dtsi file to enable can pin mapping but without success .What can I try ?

Hi,Is there a way to set the QSPI clock on the MP157 to be free running while also using the QSPI? The programming manual mentions that free running mode will prevent the QSPI from being usable.I am working on a project to interface the MP157 to an FPGA via QSPI, however, having the clock start up only when the transaction is active prevents the QSPI clock from being able to drive an IO PLL. If it were free running when no transaction was active, then the FPGA could maintain a synchronous PLL lock on the MP157.
We have product built around STM32MP1157C and boots up with GPT partition table. However, we would like to boot it up with DOS (MBR based) Partition table. As per the documentation - section 4.3 of https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32MP15_ROM_code_overview, it seems GPT is not mandatory for STM32 ROM code to locate FSBL. So, accordingly, I dumped u-boot-spl.stm32-mp1som-pxl7-basic at LBA 34 (at offset 17K), but it fails to boot up.Any help in this regard is highly appreciated.Thanks,Pradeep
the microcontroller receives a total of 4 bytes of data every 50 µs via SPI. each Two bytes form a value, which is represented as a float with 16 bits. how can i join two bytes into a 16-bit float?float v_beta_d_star = 0.0f;float v_beta_q_star = 0.0f;float v_beta_d_star = (spi_values[0] << 8) | (spi_values[0] & 0xFF);float v_beta_d_star = (spi_values[1] << 8) | (spi_values[1] & 0xFF);
Hi,I would like to perform the secureboot on AV96 board. I created a very simple module and placed it in /lib/modules/4.19.94/kernel/drivers.And do depmod -ae.And I confirmed that probe is possible with modprobe <driver name>.I expected this driver to load automatically after a reboot, but it didn't.This driver and device tree have the same compatible node.This can be confirmed by the fact that the port declared in devicetree is being operated correctly by modprobe.Could you tell me what is likely to be wrong?My device tree foo_peripheral_pins: foo_peripheral-0 { pins1 { pinmux = <STM32_PINMUX('F', 2, GPIO)>; output-high; }; }; foo_peripheral { compatible = "factory,fooperipheral"; status = "okay"; pi

Hii,I am using stm32MP157C-DK2 with the default kernel.I am trying to integrate LAN9512 with stm32MP157C-DK2 I need a step to integrate the driver to stm32MP157-DK2 with LAN9512
I'm having trouble setting up a hdmi monitor with a usb touchscreen on the stm32mp157. In the command lsusb it appears, but I can't link it with X11. What is the correct process for configuring the USB touchscreen on this board? I managed to make it work on a raspberry pi4.
I am working on the STM32MP157A. Setting PLL in the STM32CubeIDE does not work as expected. 24 MHz HSE DIVM4 = /5 DIVN4 = X84 DIVQ4 = /5 should = 80,460,000 . The MX program says 80,960,039. I do not understand. If the MX program is right, then what is the equation? I am trying to find the right combination to exactly get 460800 baud to work. The numbers I used should have worked.
Hi Team,Please help on DMA driver part of STM32MP157 DK eval board and also the base address for DMA .RegardsSS
