I just made a pure x-cube-ai project with no user code included, and it is stuck at creating network object... I couldn't analyze this problem because it seems to be related to the network library.(prefix .a). Willing to help me out?

If I build the dts files that come with the developer package, I lose the ethernet. I need to add support for USART3 and UART7, but any new build of the device tree will make the ethernet disappear.
I want to connect a SLC NAND to the FMC controller and boot from itWhat CS* must i use (NCE or NCE2) ?Why i got the "Pin not available for boot step" in CUBEmx when trying to select NCE2 ?
Already I can connect to STM32mp157C-dk2 by USB of DFU using STM32cubeprog. But I can't connect to STM32MP1157C-DK2 by SWD using STM32cubeprog. Is it possible or not? I always thank you for answer.
I want to change the environment with STM32MP151. but I can't find about this information , question 1) How to configure STM32MP151 for uboot ? how to change to single core from dual core ?2) How to configure STM32MP151 for linux kernel?3) Is it possible to test the operation by setting the dual core of the STM32MP157C-DK2 to single core?
Hi all, I would like to know if someone is experiencing the same issue as me. I've got a custom STM32MP157CAC dev board and everything is working fine until I enable the HW crypto in the Linux Kernel and I want to mount a EXT4 FS. (EXT2 is ok but as no CRC/HASH checksum...)My Linux Kernel is based on v4.19-stm32mp branch from ST. The crypto HW accelration is working because I can run some OpenSSL test with cryptodev and AF_ALG. But I've got this issue when I try to mount a perfectly working EXT4 formatted USB Mass Storage: # mount /dev/sda1 /media/[ 391.163006] ------------[ cut here ]------------[ 391.166155] kernel BUG at fs/ext4/ext4.h:2038![ 391.170589] Internal error: Oops - BUG: 0 [#1] PREEMPT SMP ARM[ 391.176413] Modules linked in:[ 391.179463] CPU: 0 PID: 153 Comm: mount Not tainted 4.19.94 #1[ 391.185281] Hardware name: STM32 (Device Tree Support)[ 391.190428] PC is at ext4_superblock_csum+0x84/0x90[ 391.195289] LR is at ext4_fill_super+
In regular kernel and application development, does ST Linux running on the STM32MP15x series MPU allow booting over the network to a remote developer host, i.e. nfs-boot or similar so that "in-place" debugging can be performed?thanks, -pete u.
STM32MP1.Working on an solution that will use OpenAMP between M4 and A7 and then to user space. The M4 will run real time critical code that will send a message to the A7 when data is available, Got the raw and USART samples compiled nder CubeIDE and it''s working as loading the M4 code works. However wish to use a callback (interrupted) solution in a Linux user space application instead of this user space application polling a device or channel endpoint in a thread to check for data , thus to save CPU load. Even better is avoiding to have to use kernel modules for this A7/M4 brigde. I could not find much use cases of OpenAMP even it's quite an established technology. Any guidance would be helpful.
Hi Guys,I just upgraded from STM32MP15-Ecosystem-v1.0.0 to STM32MP15-Ecosystem-v1.2.0 and having issues with several Qt libraries not included in the image “st-example-image-qt? (total of 35 missing out of 60). I have built this a couple times from scratch and no luck. All of the missing are included in the v1.0.0 revision that I built previously.I have diffed the meta-qt5 layer configurations and recipes, plus the create_qt5.py and not seeing any significant differences that would cause this.Oddly, when I build the SDK, all of the missing libraries are included.Has anyone run into this issue, has anyone been successful? I can sort this out for myself if others are not having this issue. Just want to know if it this is an already known problem.I have followed instructions from https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32MP1_Distribution_Package#Creating_your_own_Linux_distributionHere’s a list of what is missing:ibQt53DAnimation.solibQt53DCore.solibQt
I am searching for the simplest way to do that, I think you ST engineers made this chip for this purpose so maybe there are intended ways to that Thanks in advance
Hi all,I'm trying to build an openstlinux image (st-image-core) with yocto and bitbake.I have tried to compile it with a native ubuntu 18.04 and a virtual machine ubuntu 18.04 but the errors are similar.See attached log files. Referring to this community posts:https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000ASoluGSQR/issues-compiling-distribution-package-on-dockerhttps://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000CBmacpSQB/157adk1-hook-updateudevhwdb-failsi have installed all packages from PC_prerequisites which are required.Hope someone can help. Thanks a lot.Kind regards DmnSd
STM32MP1Cube 1.1.0Case: unload /remove the module rpmsg_client_sample check lsmod the module is not loaded.start the M4 with OpenAMP raw example 4. the rpmsg_client_sample is automatically loaded.Questions:what is the mechanism behind how is this module loaded ? How prevent this and manual load rpmsg_client_sample How to replace this module with a custom module to interact with the M4 code?
How do I modify the clock frequency of stm32mp157 peripheral ,eg:HDMI display
SDMMC is on the board, pinout of SD differs from Evaluation board by SDMMC1_D2 pin (PE6 instead of PC10). Using STM32Cube I generated dts files for u-boot and tf-a for new SD pinoutWhat should I do next?Best regards
Hi everyone,I am trying to program CM4 proc using STM32CubeIDE (on Windows), i was following this tutorial:https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Getting_started/STM32MP1_boards/STM32MP157C-DK2/Develop_on_Arm%C2%AE_Cortex%C2%AE-M4/Modify,_rebuild_and_reload_a_firmwareI am stuck at 6th part (connected board with usb to ST-link port), status widget at the right bottom says that connection state is "Idle" and cant find board IP, so i can't use debbuging thru linux core (entering board address from usb interface does't work as well).Serial console works but im not quite sure how to close it, it seems to reopen in background and when it is status says "console in use"This problem seems extremely simple and i am almost sure that i am missing sth obvious but i wasted lot of time and i cant figure it out.I'd really appreciate if sb help
Hi,i created a DT in Cubemx and now everythings works fine, with the exception of the CAN Bus.Here are the Snippets of the Device in DT:/// Clocks section CLK_FDCAN_PLL4R in the Clocks Section /// &m_can1{ pinctrl-names = "default", "sleep"; pinctrl-0 = <&fdcan1_pins_mx>; pinctrl-1 = <&fdcan1_sleep_pins_mx>; status = "okay"; /* USER CODE BEGIN m_can1 */ /* USER CODE END m_can1 */ }; And here are some debugs things from the Console:root@stm32mp1~# ip link set can0 type can bitrate 125000 root@stm32mp1:~# ip link set can0 up [ 2704.826934] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): can0: link is not ready [ 2704.831483] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): can0: link becomes ready root@stm32mp1:~# cansend can0 1337#34.23.44 interface = can0, family = 29, type = 3, proto = 1 [ 2720.472282] m_can 4400e000.can can0: bus-off root@stm32mp1:~# I connected a scope FDCAN_RX / TX. Which setting do i need? right now i try to build u-boot as debian package with follwoing settings:dpkg-buildpackage -a armAt the begining of the compilation i get following error:dpkg-architecture: warning: specified GNU system type arm-linux-gnu does not match CC system type arm-openstlinux_weston-linux-gnueabi, try setting a correct CC environment variableNevertheless it compiles successfully but the problem is that after the comliation the packager fails with follwoing error:Can't exec "arm-linux-gnu-objcopy": No such file or directory at /usr/share/perl5/Debian/Debhelper/Dh_Lib.pm line 475.As you can see it search for arm-linux-gnu-objcopy and not the one i have specifed by openst-weston-compiler!What are the right calling parameters for dpg-buildpackage and "arm-openstlinux_weston-linux-gnueabi"-Compiler ? Thanks
Hi All.I develop M4 Core firmware using a custom board based on STM32MP151C.There is no problem with SPI communication without using DMA. However, when DMA is used, waveforms do not occur the pins or only the NSS pins react, resulting in waveforms.I want to know if I set the DMA wrong.Below is the corresponding code.__IO uint16_t __TEST_BUFFER[3];voidMX_DMA_Init (void){ /* DMA controller clock enable */ __HAL_RCC_DMA2_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_DMAMUX_CLK_ENABLE(); /* DMA2_Stream1_IRQn interrupt configuration */ HAL_NVIC_SetPriority (DMA2_Stream1_IRQn, 0, 0); HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ (DMA2_Stream1_IRQn); return;}voidMX_SPI2_Init (){ LL_SPI_InitTypeDef SPI_InitStruct = { 0 }; LL_GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = { 0 }; if (IS_ENGINEERING_BOOT_MODE()) { LL_RCC_SetSPIClockSource (LL_RCC_SPI23_CLKSOURCE_PLL3Q); } /* Peripheral clock enable */ LL_APB1_GRP1_EnableClock (LL_APB1_GRP1_PERIPH_SPI2); LL_AHB4_GRP1_EnableClock (LL_AHB4_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOB); LL_AHB4_GRP1_EnableClock (LL_AHB4_GRP1_P
Hi: we will debugging the uboot using GDB,but we can't get possible target configuration files for <board.cfg>,how can we get the file?thanks
Hello,I have started to use the OPENAMP framework, especially with the CubeMX generated file openamp.h to communicate between the A7 and M4.The example DK2_TIMER1_OpenAmp_Solution works fine, but unfortunately the CubeMX generates all the initialization of the OPENAMP framework in the main.c . Equivalent to the DK2_Timer1 example is also the following example on github:https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeMP1/tree/master/Projects/STM32MP157C-DK2/Applications/OpenAMP/OpenAMP_TTY_echo )Within my project, I would like to move the OPENAMP stuff into a separate c-file. However, when doing this I experienced a re-initialization of the rpmsg_virtio_device *rvdev e.g. rpmsg_endpoint ept. This resulted into a linux kernel crash on the A7 when too many endpoints are created ...Even though, as I can see in the directory structure, the fileMiddlewares/Third_Party/OpenAMP/virtual_driver/virt_uart.hdoes include the "openamp.h" and respectively uses functions from this CubeMX generated file
Hi, I read more wiki pages and found below command to partition emmc on ubootsetenv emmc_part "name=ssbl,size=2MiB;name=bootfs,type=linux,bootable,size=64MiB;name=rootfs,type=linux,size=512" gpt write mmc 1 ${emmc_part}When my board start up and execute above commands.
