While setting up my STM32MP157F-DK2 discovery kit, I followed the steps through the Populate the SDCard section and the flashing process failed with the following message when attempting to flash with the FlashLayout_sdcard_stm32mp157f-dk2-optee.tsv binary. After failing with the expected flash file I tried flashing again with the FlashLayout_sdcard_stm32mp157c-dk2-optee.tsv binary and the flash process succeeded. Is this expected? I confirmed that my board is a rev F DK-2 and not rev C. I'm not sure what differences there are between the two revisions and if there is any missing functionality with the rev C binary.16:09:26 : STM32CubeProgrammer API v2.12.0 | Linux-64Bits 16:09:37 : USB speed : High Speed (480MBit/s)16:09:37 : Manuf. Hi, Last couple of weeks I am trying to debug a rendering issue between eglfs and what I believe to be a VSYNC/Tearing issue. For testing I am using a bootlin demo build-root image with elgfs support. The image has Qt5.15, EGLFS and EGL support (more detailed description of the image specifications under: st_stm32mp135f_dk_demo.) Most of the QT examples have apparent vsync (tearing) issues like the one in this video. Weirdly enough, the pure opengl examples like hellowindow work perfectly fine. I attempted to gather more information about the issue in a few ways:Experimenting with the QT environment variables:I tried to set QT_QPA_EGLFS_ALWAYS_SET_MODE=1, QT_QPA_EGLFS_KMS_ATOMIC=1 with no results. I also created a KMS config file. What seemed weird to me is that the FORCEVSYNC and SWAPINTERVAL variables they do not seem affect the image, even though I can see on the EGLFS_DEBUG that the the variables have been applied.Testing different displays:I tested 4 different displays with DSI, a

I am using STM32MP157F-DK2 for secure boot. I am using ecosystem release v3.1.1 which has TFA v2.4-stm32mp-r2.1. As per steps given by ST need to fuse publicKeyhash.bin to OTP from u-boot console using "stm32key fuse 0xc00000000".As OTP area can not be used for multiple hash. How test multiple key hash with keys and certificate or with secure boot chain? As developer how to verify different hash keys without fusing to actual otp register (24 to 31).?Thank you.
Hello,I have built a custom image using the Yocto project in the Dunfull branch. However, when I try to upload my code to M4 Core in production mode, it shows me this error message. However, I am able to connect to my board through SSH. So I believe it is not a connection issue, and I have tested on the STM32MP157C-DK2 and it does not work either.I have tested the same procedure on openstlinux Yocto Dunfull, and it worked fine. I am thinking that something is missing in kernel configurations.I am using Linux version 5.10.116 (oe-user@oe-host) (arm-poky-linux-gnueabi-gcc (GCC) 9.3.0 , GNI ld (GNU biutiles) . 2.34.0.020200910 ) #1 SMP PREEMPT sun May 15 18:00:09 UTC 2022
I want to change the pin configuration fonts, I tried with colors and fonts tabs but nothing worked
I'm using latest ST official U-Boot release v2021.10-stm32mp-r1 and I'm trying to get OP-TEE working with ST's official Linux release v5.10-stm32mp-r2.1 and it's stuck after U-Boot:Starting kernel ... I/TC: Secondary CI/TC: Secondary CPU 1 switching to normal world boot E/TC:0 Panic 'Watchdog' at ?:0With ST's official Linux release v5.15-stm32mp-r1 it boots correctly. Can anyone from ST please tell me if v5.10-stm32mp-r2.1 is generally supported? I'm using an STM32MP157C SoC.
Hi team,I am developing our PCB referring to the "STM32MP157 EVAL"(MB1263-C04 Board schematic).https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/stm32mp157f-ev1.html#cad-resourcesIn the datasheet, VREF+ looks like a voltage output pin, but why is power supply connected to VREF+ in STM32MP157 EVAL?Best regard,

Hi team,I am developing the board referring to the "STM32MP157 EVAL"(MB1263-C04 Board schematic).https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/stm32mp157f-ev1.html#cad-resourcesSTM32MP157 EVAL has an SD card slot and eMMC as storage media.I think the sample Linux environment (demo environment) is stored in the SD card, but is eMMC necessary?(If an SD card is installed, is it not necessary to install eMMC?)Best regard,

I only have a DK2 development board, I want to use the Android firmware program, is there a way to make the Android system work? Can someone provide a patch for me to bringup on DK2, I don't care about performance, just learn android related knowledge, hope someone can help me, my email is tangtaoqaq@gmail.com thanks a lottao
Hi there,I'm working with stmmac driver. I understand this driver is integrated with XDP support. On my board I'm running Linux kernel 5.15.32 with preempt_rt enabled, and I'm running a AF_XDP program on user space at high RR priority, on isolated cpu. When running the XDP program on the network interface driven by stmmac on the socket buffer level everything is working fine. When trying to run the same XDP program in native mode, that is, on the network driver level I'm getting a bunch of the following errors:NOHZ tick-stop error: Non-RCU local softirq work is pending, handler #8And from this point the system is not very usable anymore...The AF_XDP program transmits a icmp request that is received on the other side and a reply is transmitted back. The AF_XDP program then poll() the xsk socket, no data is read from the socket, and this error comes out.Have you any idea? Thanks a lot,Nir.
Hello, I have dual core STM32MP157F-EV evaluation kit. I can connect via ST-link and install an application (This is installing on M4). And when I press the reset button, the application is deleted because the M4 core is RAM. I want it to work again every time I reset it. How can I do that ? How can I create an application-specific yocto project?
Hello, I am doing a little bit of cross compiling but I have a problem with the linux interpreter. I am using the openstlinux-weston distro with the ld-linux-armhf.so.3 but the binaries after coming out of my cross compilation are using ld-linux.so.3. I need a little bit of hints here how to make it proper.here's my cmake toolchain and cmake itself it's just stupid example to compile simple hello world print out. Thank everybody in advance :)set(CMAKE_SYSTEM_NAME Linux) set(CMAKE_SYSTEM_PROCESSOR arm) set(CMAKE_C_COMPILER /usr/bin/arm-linux-gnueabi-gcc)

Hi all!I am testing the audio configuration for the stm32mp156C-Dk2, with lastest demo(4.0.1-openstlinux-5.15-yocto-kirkstone-mp1-v22.06.15).I followed the sound card configuration [tutorial](https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Soundcard_configuration) and I can't configurate correctly somes controls.E.g (Analog Playback Volume)root@stm32mp1:~# amixer -c STM32MP15DK cset name='Analog Playback Volume' '204','204' amixer: Control sysdefault:0 element write error: Invalid argument root@stm32mp1:~# amixer -c STM32MP15DK cset name='Analog Playback Volume' '100','100' numid=3,iface=MIXER,name='Analog Playback Volume' ; type=INTEGER,access=rw---R--,values=2,min=0,max=228,step=0 : values=100,100 | dBscale-min=-102.00dB,step=0.50dB,mute=0In this case, the max argument is 228 but when I try it with the value 204, it says: "invalid argument" but with other lower value it works...This also happen with others controls. What is the reason for this to happen?Regards! Thanks!
