Hi, I'm using STM32WB5CGU7 MCU for our BLE related project. STM32WB5CGU7 MCU stoped in MX_RTC_Init(); function.it means MCU holded in rtc error handeler. My cube mx version is 6.3 my rtc setting is below the picture. I am enable LSI2 clock 32khz.the MCU stoping , the picture is given below. Andalso I attached Scematic of the controller Section. verify it. How to resolve the this issue ?
Hey,I have two problems regarding custom clusters and sleepy end devices. I want to create an SED that periodically sends custom long string messages (via attribute reporting) to a coordinator.1.Question:For this I implemented a custom cluster with a custom long string character attribute. For testing I only write to the attribute once the SED starts up.enum ZclStatusCodeT status;uint8_t Custom_str[255] = " PAYLOAD";Custom_str[0] = 68; // length of string (ZCL format) LSBCustom_str[1] = 0; // length of string (ZCL format) MSBstatus = ZbZclAttrStringWriteLong(zigbee_app_info.custom_ls_server, MY_ZCL_DEV_LS, Custom_str);APP_DBG("Attribute write status = %d", status);This works as intended. My motivation to use the custom cluster was the ability to send long custom strings. If I change Custom_str[0] = 68; to Custom_str[0] = 100; the reporting stops and the message does not comes through (attributeWrite still successful). Fragmentation should be enabled by default in custom cluster, but ap
I am designing my PCB in different frequency then specified in AN5457, there were some examples but not in the whole bandwidth of STM32WLE5CBU6 ! I need the impedance for HP in all frequency because im going to use it in many Bands as a COSTOM PCBs. Same thing with receiving if possible. Thanks in advance.
I'm planning on making a 3D printed remote controlled crane and wanted to control it over Bluetooth from my phone with an app. It would simply be a board with some low power h-bridge drivers connected to a bluetooth capable stm32 that would communicate with my phone to control the speed and direction of the motors. I will admit I haven't had a big look into everything yet as I am just getting an idea of what's possible but I found the STBLEToolbox app on iphones that can be used to connect to an stm32 and was wondering if something like that would work where I can send values (basically a duty cycle) to control motor speed. I was also wondering if the layout of the app is customizable (like can I add joysticks to make it more user friendly?). so far I have only seen examples where the app connects to the stm32 and you can send a single character but thats not very useful for my application. I am still looking around to see if I can find more information but thought I could ask here fir
Hi,Requirement: Use LSE pins: PC14/PC15 as GPIO Output.MCU: STM32WBA52CGU6Issue: Output voltage not sustain at 3.3V but getting 3.152V (GPIO connected circuit consumes 300uA only).- For clean firmware, generated firmware based on IOC, configured only these two pins as output, push-pull, High state.- Attached related IOC-file, debug-SFR-states-screenshot and generated-project files.I thinks that this is STM MCU level limitation and STM-Team must provide errata for same with workaround-status.Please guide me in case anyone have known workaround.Thanks

I am using smt32wba52cgu6 MCU in my project. In this project i want to use SD card module but since the module has no FAFTS middleware in STM32Cube Mx as well as in STM32cube IDE. I am using the libraries available in the git hub for fafts (https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32-mw-fatfs) in IAR embedded workbench but there is problem while uploading the code (i.e. run time error). Please guide me how could i do that and properly insert these libraries in my program or if i am wrong please share me how to go properly.
Hi,I am using the example ble_p2pServer_ota with STm32WBA55. I would send a packet between a client and a server with more than 20 bytes.Here is part of the code from p2p_server.c:When i debug the code, the value of Attr_Data_Length is correct until i send up to 20 bytes. If i want to send 25 bytes, the value of Attr_Data_Length remains at 20. case ACI_GATT_ATTRIBUTE_MODIFIED_VSEVT_CODE: { /* USER CODE BEGIN EVT_BLUE_GATT_ATTRIBUTE_MODIFIED_BEGIN */ /* USER CODE END EVT_BLUE_GATT_ATTRIBUTE_MODIFIED_BEGIN */ p_attribute_modified = (aci_gatt_attribute_modified_event_rp0*)p_blecore_evt->data; notification.ConnectionHandle = p_attribute_modified->Connection_Handle; notification.AttributeHandle = p_attribute_modified->Attr_Handle; notification.DataTransfered.Length = p_attribute_modified->Attr_Data_Length; notification.DataTransfered.p_Payload = p_attribute_modified->Attr_Data; Then i cheched the value of ATT_MTU size in file app_config.h.
Hi.I am looking for some info relating to the factory bootloader in the STM32WL33. In a nutshell, I dont need it nor want it. My application will require a custom bootloader that will read program from EEPROM over SPI.I have discovered from a previous post that to protect the chip from external programming, one can disable the SWD pins in the registers.However looking closer, the factory bootloader is still accessible by pulling up PA10 (BOOT0). This means that using openly available tools someone could reprogram my device. Not something anyone wants im sure!So i have been looking for a way to disable it or delete it. Of which i appear to have failed to do. So i looked for some other reasonable measure.The only piece of info i can find useful to me, is that the bootloader has a secure boot element to it, in that a Key can be entered into a OTP area.Validation of the key is then required in order to program the flash and even to run the loaded application on POR.The kicker....These
I am using Wio E5 board for a LoRawan project and running the project FreeRTOS LoRa Wio E5 in STM32CubeIDE. When building the project as it is without changing anything in CubeMX it works fine. I could change the EUI values, region, etc.. in the respective files and no errors after build and my board joins and sends data to TTN successfully.When I try to enable I2C for my sensor communication or anything for the case in Cubemx and build the generated code, all the library references which were previously there just go away and so it throws errors such as no file or directory, macro, structure,etc.. exists. Every library folder path is included for the compiler and in paths and symbols, and also all the source folders are well included in the source locations which is why it worked without changing anything using CubeMX.What might be the issue?
When I use STM Programmer and insert code to WB55CG dongle... Warning 0x495 device unconnected phase keep poping up...I want to know the reason why this phase pop up...
Hello Community,Greetings of the day.I'm using the Nucleo WB55RG board. I want to turn ON the notification and see the notification my st-BLE mobile app as soon as the data of the particular variable changes. I set the service and its characteristics in the project's .ioc file. But my requirement is that I should get the notification on the BLE app as the data in that variable changes. SO HOW DO I ASSIGN a NoTiFiCaTioN TO MY PARTICULAR Variable. @STTwo-32 Could you please help me in this matter. I explored the wb55rg's reference manual, different User Manuals But NOT found helpful. So your Help is appreciated.Thank You. Regards,OS.
Hello there,I'm trying to execute the BLE_HeartRate Service example on WB55rg Nucleo board. Initially I successfully run the code.Later I'm trying to download the same code again BUT I'm getting following message repeatedly in the CONSOLE:Download verified successfully Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying...Target is not responding, retrying.. Also, bi-color LED i.e. LED6 on the board is not turning RED at the end. I tried executing my other projects and all are downloaded properly with last message as:Download verified successfully Shutting down...Exit. BUT Why this BLE_HeartRate is creating an issue, I'm unable to figure out.Your help is very much appreciated.Thank You.
Hello.I have my custom PCB with STM32WB55CEU. This board is tested so I m able to connect and sending data beetween "my PCB" and Smartphone.Now I have new goal. The goal is to start scan process for nearby devices. I would like to hit breakpoint which is illustrated by the red arrow in the photo below. So I created new project, configure as Client profile with all default values. Is this configuration sufficient for the system to fulfill its purpose or should I add extra code to this project?
Hi I am hoping someone might be able to help me with some calculations.I am assessing the STM32WL33 for use in a product.One of the peripherals will be an EEPROM, an M95P32.The EEPROM supports Dual/Quad Output (Read) However the STM32 does not appear to have a hardware QSPI.So i am trying to determine whether to implement a Quad Read in software (bitbanging).Can anyone help me to understand the max data transfer on 4 wire SPI using hardware, Vs that of Quad Read using software. Many thanks
I am adding services to an existing WB55 BLE project with a small number of services.As I increase the number of services, aci_gatt_add_service() eventually returns 0x98, BLE_STATUS_OUT_OF_MEMORY. (I note that 0x98 is not shown as a valid return value in the manual) I have tried adjusting CFG_BLE_NUM_GATT_SERVICES , allowing for the fact that the GAP and GATT services are included automatically, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. I've also tried adjusting CFG_BLE_NUM_GATT_ATTRIBUTES and CFG_BLE_ATT_VALUE_ARRAY_SIZE.Can anyone suggest what to look at next?
Hi,I use the example BLE_p2pServer_ota and want to transfer 20 bytes of data to UART2 within a characteristic. But i only get the value 1 for sizeof(p_Notification->DataTransfered.Length). case P2P_SERVER_UART_C_WRITE_NO_RESP_EVT: /* USER CODE BEGIN Service1Char3_WRITE_NO_RESP_EVT */ sizeOfPayload = sizeof(p_Notification->DataTransfered.p_Payload); if(HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA(&huart2, p_Notification->DataTransfered.p_Payload, sizeof(p_Notification->DataTransfered.Length)) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }
I've enabled STOP2 mode with the below code statement void PWR_EnterStopMode(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN PWR_EnterStopMode_1 */ UART_WakeUpTypeDef WakeUpSelection; WakeUpSelection.WakeUpEvent = UART_WAKEUP_ON_STARTBIT; if (HAL_UARTEx_StopModeWakeUpSourceConfig(&hlpuart1, WakeUpSelection)!= HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } __HAL_UART_ENABLE_IT(&hlpuart1, UART_IT_WUF); HAL_UARTEx_EnableStopMode(&hlpuart1); /* USER CODE END PWR_EnterStopMode_1 */ /** * When HAL_DBGMCU_EnableDBGStopMode() is called to keep the debugger active in Stop Mode, * the systick shall be disabled otherwise the cpu may crash when moving out from stop mode * * When in production, the HAL_DBGMCU_EnableDBGStopMode() is not called so that the device can reach best power consumption * However, the systick should be disabled anyway to avoid the case when it is about to expire at the same time the device enters * stop mode (this will abort the Stop Mode entry). */ HAL_SuspendTick(); /**
I am testing Lora-E5 mini with FreeRTOS from LoRaWan-E5-Node-qian example in STM32CubeIde . All works fine except the clock (MSI) is only 4 MHz. This causes that e.g. osDelay(100) takes 4 s.I have been trying to change MSI to HSE 32 MHz, but no luck. Does someone know, how to change the clock.There is an ioc file, but use of STM32Cube will ruin the project.
Hi,We have developed wireless temperature sensor using STM32WL5MOCH6S module , it is fully battery operated device and Battery is connected directly to supply pin of the module, in this we would want to the read battery voltage , is there any register or command available for reading supply pin to read the battery voltage or any other method to read the battery voltage?Kindly help us in this matter.
I'm trying to import the sample project BLE_Skeleton. On build I get the following error:fatal error: osal.h: No such file or directoryThe same error occurs for other BLE sample projects.The error also happened for BLE_p2pServer but was fixed.When can the problem be fixed for the other sample projects ?
I am currently working with the STM32WB55RGV6 MCU and utilizing the BLE functionality provided in the BLE_p2pserver example (STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.18.0) from ST. However, I am facing a limitation where the data packet size is restricted to 20 bytes, preventing me from sending larger amounts of data.I have come across forums suggesting that the MTU size can be increased to enable higher data throughput. However, I am not very experienced in writing or modifying the software, and I need step-by-step guidance to implement this change correctly.I also found Application Note AN5289 and investigated the section on "How to maximize data throughput". While the document provides suggestions, I am unsure how to apply them to my code.Could you please provide clear, step-by-step instructions on how to:Increase the BLE MTU size,Apply the recommendations from AN5289 to maximize the BLE throughput,Make the necessary modifications to the BLE_p2p
Is support for the nucleo-wb15cc already in Zephyr or does it need to be added? I am new to zephyr and would like to avoid re-inventing the wheel if possible. From a setup I just created today (so should have the latest released code) I didn't see the wb15 listed:(.venv) g:~/zephyrproject/zephyr$ west boards | grep -i -e stm32 -e nucleo | grep -i wbnucleo_wba55cgnucleo_wb05kzstm32wb5mm_dknucleo_wb09kestm32wb5mmgnucleo_wb55rgnucleo_wba52cg
Upon triggering a notify event calling the following function "Custom_STM_App_Update_Char()", the STM32 successfully sends data, which I receive on my iPhone using ST BLE Toolbox. However, after that, the STM32 becomes unresponsive to further BLE requests. I can see that the system hasn't crashed, as it is continusouly calling "UTIL_SEQ_Idle".I am using a BLE application: server profile with a custom profile. I have already seen the other forum post titled "STM32WB55 Stops handling events after sending a notification" which sounds similar to this, but I am not deliberately pausing or stopping the sequencer at any point (as far as I'm aware).Another unusual thing I've noticed, is that every other characteristic has been given a handle for the function "Custom_STM_Event_Handler(void *Event)" in "custom_stm.c", which I am able to use to call other functions to handle thos events, however, for my notify event, I can only see handles for NOTIFY_ENABLED_EVT / NOTIFY_DISABLED_EVT which aren't
Hi, I developed an application using the stm32wb5mm-dk. Everything works until I try to use an external 5V power supply. In fact, I change the position of JP2 on position 7-8 (to select 5V EXT) and I soldered SB4. However, when I supply the board through CN8, LD2 is on, JP1 is at 3.3V but the application on the STM32WB seems not to being run. If I provide power also through the USB STLK, it seems to start running. Is there any other JP or SB to adjust for extenal 5V supply?Thanks.
