Context:I have succesfully implemented a CDC device in a stm32f205 board 6 months ago.Now im trying to implement the exact same thing in my STM32WB5M discovery board.BLE is already activated and working P2P custom serverUsing CUBEMX 6.3.0FW package STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.13.0 ______________________________________________________________________ Problem:Windows doesnt recognise the USB device. ________________________________________________________________ How did i got here:I enabled the USB device mode in cubeMX I enabled the middleware I autogenerate the code....Inside usb_cdc_if.c i add this code everything compiles and runs but windows doesnt recognice the USB deviceFind attached my cubeMX file. The Windows doesnt recognice error appears when the usb is enabled (i dont know if this means anything )The usb handle struc doesnt show any errors after init
Matter software expansion for STM32Cube v1.1.1. When I build 2_Images_SECoreBin on macOS development environment, the build fails probably due to postbuild.sh and prebuild.sh.Please let me know how to fix this.
we are working on STM32WLE5 development. We succeeded to enter Shutdown mode and measured supply current of less then 40nA when operated at 3.0V,but at that time, the VDDRF and VDDPA were not connected (0 volts), meaning we could not test the LoraWan SubGHz comm. Once we connected the VDDRF and VDDPA to 3.0V (in a permanent connection as ST instructed), the current consumption spiked to 10A during operation, not droping when I try to enter shutdown mode.We suspect that we did not define some important parameters or did not turn off some internal circuitry.any ideas?
I'm trying to get a window cover to work, but can't seem to get the communication between attributes to work. I've been able to do this with the on/off cluster but this just doesn't seem to work. Also the examples on github are programmed very differently than the IDE seems to generate. I've bought a CC2531 Zigbee sniffer and can now see what's being communicated between my home assistant and the stm32 chip. When I change the position in the picture below a command is send out which you can see in the other picture.I can see that the status is 'Unsupported Cluster Command' and I dont really know what I'm doing wrong.
I want to add I2C support to a BLE sample project, in particular BLE_Beacon or BLE_Peripheral_Lite.In CubeMX on non-BLE projects I can select PB6-PB7 for SCL-SDA respectively. In a BLE project there is a clash with TIMER and the I2C code is not generated into the project (the same happens when configuring any PB in the range 1-8 as output or input). One can also configure PA0-PB14 for SCL-SDA but requires to set soldering bridges (SBs).I did the following SBs: On 1801: 4=off, 6=off, 12=off, 23=onOn 2032: 2=offThis does not work (I checked with oscilloscope) What is wrong?
I have been using Seeed-LoRa-E5 github repository for my project. I have added code to send I2C sensor data to the LNS and the device joins and sends data successfully and the code works fine as expected. Now I want to add a timer interrupt and so I am using timer 2 to do that. I calculate the ARR value for the timer using the formula Time interval = (ARR + 1)*(PSC + 1)/FCLK. I get the desired time interval when running the timer in a blank project after calculating the ARR and configuring accordingly, but when done in this project for example I get 30 sec time interval for the ARR value calculated for 1 sec. In the project by default only the internal RTC is enabled and used to periodically make the MCU go to sleep and wake up during transmission, and no other timers are enabled. Why do I get this issue?
I want to work with Lora FHSS. Resources on this subject are limited. \STM32Cube_FW_WL_V1.3.0\Projects\NUCLEO-WL55JC\Applications\SubGHz_Phy\SubGHz_Phy_LrFhss. ;I looked at the FHSS example you told me about. This example works in TX mode only. It only sends data using FHSS. I want to listen to this transmitted data with the same model STM32 Nucleo WLE5JC card. Is there an example of this? How can I configure the FHSS configuration to always listen?
Hi there! I'm just starting with the B-WL5M-SUBG1 and would like the source code for the program that runs on a newly purchased development board. The documentation says this code is available https://www.st.com/resource/en/data_brief/b-wl5m-subg1.pdf section 2.3. However, I've searched and cannot find it anywhere. Can someone help? Here's the application output: Many thanks! David
I have two custom STM32WB55 boards that I initially started with the P2P_Client/Server projects. I have the two devices communicating with each other. Once the communication is established, the notification characteristic is enabled from the P2P_Client, and data starts flowing from the server to the client. Next step is to try and disable/enable the notification programmatically from the P2P_Client. I see in the p2p_client_app.c file, there is an event handler for, APP_BLE_ENABLE_NOTIFICATION_DESC and APP_BLE_DISABLE_NOTIFICATION_DESC.Can anyone point me to the correct process for either setting the status somehow so that the event handler is utilized or what is the recommended process for enabling/disabling a notification programmatically from the P2P_Client?Kindest regards.
We purchased the STM32WL55JC Long Range Module board for a project. This board includes the LoRa E5 HF module. We are considering using LoRa FHSS in our project. Can this motherboard support LoRa FHSS? Does it support? I couldn't find much information about this on the internet. Please let me know if LoRa e5 supports FHSS.
What are the differences between LPTIM and TIM, also doesTIM1,TIM2,TIM16,TIM17 work when the device is in STOP2 mode?
I have configured the ADC in DMA mode to read a single pin for measuring external voltages. However, I’m encountering an issue where the ADC value is measured correctly on the first call, but on subsequent calls to the function, the ADC value does not get updated. It remains the same regardless of any external voltage applied. In other words, it only shows the first measured value all the time. Below is the configuration for the ADC: ADC CLK is set to 12MHZ.Below is the ADC reading function. void ADC(void) { uint16_t ADC_Data; HAL_ADCEx_Calibration_Start(&hadc1, ADC_SINGLE_ENDED); HAL_ADC_Start_DMA(&hadc1,(uint32_t*)&ADC_Data ,1); printf("ADC: %d\n",ADC_Data); HAL_ADC_Stop_DMA(&hadc1); } Thank you,
Hi, I want to develop a BLE application on the STM32WB55, but I'm having trouble initializing the BLE stack on CPU2. I call the functions to initialize it (like in the Heart Rate Monitor example), and then I receive an RX_IRQ from the IPCC where incoming data from CPU2 is checked, but currently the list is empty. Where is the problem? I received the IRQ, but there is no data in the list. In that case the init can not be finished.Probably I missed something. FUS and BLE stack are activated via CubeMX. Thank you for help.oid HW_IPCC_SYS_EvtNot( void ) { TL_EvtPacket_t *p_evt; while(LST_is_empty(&SystemEvtQueue) == FALSE) { LST_remove_head (&SystemEvtQueue, (tListNode **)&p_evt); OutputDbgTrace(TL_MB_SYS_ASYNCH_EVT, (uint8_t*)p_evt ); SYS_EVT_IoBusCallBackFunction( p_evt ); } return; }
I'm not able to get it to work. I'm trying the example, added all the necessary files from the Nucleo BSP library, and included some UART debug information. I can set it into standby mode, but I cannot manage to transmit using the example. I'm trying to program the LoRa-E5-HF module; maybe that's the problem, but I cannot identify the issue.this is the debug output=== Start Main ===[Radio] Setting Sleep Mode.[Radio] Setting Standby Mode.[Radio] Retrieving Status.[Radio] Radio is in Standby RC Mode.[Radio] Setting TX Mode.[Radio] Retrieving TX Status.[Error] Radio is not in TX Mode. #include "main.h" #include <stdio.h> #include <stdarg.h> /* Private includes ----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN Includes */ /* USER CODE END Includes */ /* Private typedef -----------------------------------------------------------*/ /* USER CODE BEGIN PTD */ /* USER CODE END PTD */ /* Private define ------------------------------------------
Hello,I am having an issue with programming a custom made board utilizing the STM32WB15CCY6, utilizing the WLCSP49 package. The boards were designed by me, see relevant section attached, and I had the boards manufactured and assembled by a professional third party company. We used the Nucleo-WB15CC to develop a program before I ordered the custom PCB. We attempted to upload a sample program using STMCubeProgrammer with the STLINK-V3SET over the programming header, as well as supplying an external 3.3V.We were able to connect to the MCU, however, when trying to upload the binary, we always received the error "Unable to Get CoreID" despite being able to connect to the device. Eventually, we were able to successfully upload a sample program using the Arduino IDEBefore uploading the code, there is minimal current draw from the external power supply. After uploading any program, the current maxes out at 0.5A, and drops the voltage down to 2.7V, current limited by the power supply, and
I am looking to know where I should write HCI commands. For example I need to write HCI_LE_SET_PHY . Should I use STM32CubeMonitor-RF. If yes, then I don't find BLE_TransparentMode for STM32WB35XX series.please let know
Hello,Did not find the code to read battery level from BLE bas service. Is there any sample code? Thanks
Hi all!I'm having some issues in order to use the AlarmA and AlarmB features of RTC in the STM32WLE5x MCU. I'm using the HAL library functions.I've experienced an ambiguous behavior when debugging the code generated in CubeMX module in STM32CubeIDE. First, without using the masks for subsecond registers in the .ioc file, it runs once, at first debug. Then, by clicking on debug once again, it does not return from MX_RTC_Init() function after startup. I noticed that the code kept in loop on stm32wlxx_hal_rtc.c file (not handled by any error loop). A second point is that the value that I input in the "free running 32 bit value" fields on RTC Alarms A and B parameters are always transcribed in hexa inside the RTC init function. It means, if I write for example 0xFF in the GUI field, it appears as 0x0xff in the main.c file updated. If I select "decimal" value and input a value of 255, it will write 0x255 in the function.A third issue that I found, is that when I do use any mask for th
Hi. I'm developing a custom STM32 circuit board.I'm trying to use an analog-front-end, AD7124-8 ADC chip. However, this chip generates an interrupt signal through the MISO pin when data is ready. As you know, once we set SPI in STM32, we cannot use GPIO interrupt callback.I know somebody already asked about this issue but I want to know if any document solves this problem clearly.
I am implementing a Matter device using the STM32WB5MMG. When attempting to commission the device with a Google Nest Hub, it fails to join the Thread Network.Upon reviewing the logs, it appears that the NOC (Node Operational Certificate) verification is successful, but when trying to connect to the Google Nest Hub using the Thread Network information, there seems to be no response from the Google Nest Hub.Could you suggest any solutions for this issue?
Hello, I have a RAK3172 which is based on STM32WLE5CCU6, and it is being configured for LoRaWAN, and the node transmission is happening based on timer (TX_ON_TIMER), sometimes an External interrupt will be there and the device needs to send the packet immediately (TX_ON_EVENT), now how to switch from TX_ON_TIMER to TX_ON_EVENT
Hello everyone,it was required that my software periodically measures the internal chip temperature for comparison with the externally measured temperature. As the time distances between measurements are several minutes, the ADC is to be completely turned off in between. I mostly copied the code from the LoRaWAN_End_Node example, but the measured temperature is always too low, around 5-6 °C when it should be around 20-21 °C.The ADC code is generally generated by CubeMX.MCU is the STM32WLE5CCU.I've pasted the code here: void MX_ADC_Init(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END ADC_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END ADC_Init 1 */ /** Configure the global features of the ADC (Clock, Resolution, Data Alignment and number of conversion) */ hadc.Instance = ADC; hadc.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_SYNC_PCLK_DIV4; hadc.Init.Resolution = ADC_RESOLUTION_12B; hadc.Init.DataAlign = ADC_DATAALIGN_RIGHT; hadc.Init.ScanConvMode = ADC_SCA
As per .ioc the maximum value length for BLE data transfer can be 512 bytes. but aci_gatt_update_char_value has char_Value_Length and Char_value pointer set for uint8_t . so it means we can update only max 255 bytes .aci_gatt_update_char_value( uint16_t Service_Handle, uint16_t Char_Handle,uint8_t Val_Offset, uint8_t Char_Value_Length, const uint8_t* Char_Value )pls suggest
Hi,Made a prototype board with a STM32WB55RGV. For testing the wake up I reduced to only UART1, incoming SYS WAKEUP PIN 4 (PA2), control LED on PB10, Serial Wire debugging. HSE/LSE present, but not used. BLE is not used, the firmware deleted, etc.If I test by HAL_GPIO_ReadPin I can clearly detect Vcc on the Wake up pin (configured then as input) while pressing the button connected to this pin. Loosening falls down to 0/GND. A multimeter confirms 3.1V while pressing, 0V while loosening the button / in rest.Just a simple code: if (__HAL_PWR_GET_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_SB) != RESET) { __HAL_PWR_CLEAR_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_SB); } HAL_PWR_DisableWakeUpPin(PWR_WAKEUP_PIN4); HAL_Delay(1000); HAL_PWR_EnableWakeUpPin(PWR_WAKEUP_PIN4_HIGH); __HAL_PWR_CLEAR_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_WU); HAL_PWR_EnterSTANDBYMode(); The device reaches standby mode, I notice the debugger lost contact after some seconds, pretty normal I guess. While pressing the button, confirming high level on PA2/SysWakeUp4 nothing happens. If I
Hello,I try to test the BLE on my Nucleo-STM32WB55 board.I use the v1.21.0 ST package for WB boards with BLE_Zigbee_Dyn exemple.I can use Zigbee without problems, but i never be able to use BLE. I can't discover device on ST BLE sensor classic.I upload the stm32wb5x_BLE_Zigbee_FFD_dynamic_fw.bin.Thanks.
