I'm using the P-NUCLEO-WB55 development board, with only USB (CDC Device) and USART1 enabled/configured through the STM IDE.The code is generated, I add my own code, I compile, program, test it, and everything works. However, whenever I close and open the IDE again and try to re-build the project, some STM USB files cannot be found anymore and the build fails. To fix this, I have to re-open the IDE configurator and let it re-generate the code. Then the build doesn't fail anymore (unless I close and re-open the IDE...).I have checked what happens after I re-open the IDE, and for some reason the .mk files of the project are different (they are missing the USB files inclusion). This only happens when I re-open the IDE, and try to build the project (without doing any other change).
Hello everyone,I am working on a project on which i would like to send a notification from a board to another when the firts one crosses a threshold with the built-in comparator. I started from the BLE_p2pServer and BLE_p2pClient examples from STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.0.0 and modified them a bit to fit my needs. Everything was going well until I tried to send a BLE notification from the HAL_COMP_TriggerCallback() in the server. I tried to send the notification with the functions in the server example and then wrote my own functions by drawing my inspiration from the ones in the server example but I had the same problem : the server stopped advertising.I did some researches and found that SCH_SetTask() is responsible, when I comment its line, the server advertises. Do you have any idea on how to solve this problem or just send a simple notification from the server to the client ?Thank you.
Have the STM32WB Dev Kit schematics been published anywhere?
Hi, I'd like to know how to use a STM32WB Dongle as central to interface a PC windows App to communicate with a STM32WB DK. Are there any examples I can use as a starting point?
Just got this Nucleo pack, the Nucleo board flash cannot be erased or programmed with CubeProgrammer or EWIAR app. I followed exactly the STM32CubeWB Getting Started Guide - can someone tell me how to program the flash please? Also the USB Dongle is non-fucntional on Win10 - and there is no "inbox" driver that can understand what it is. Do i need to use Win7 to make the USB dongle work? So far out-of-box experience has been totally horrible, not sure how everyone is getting this to work. Thanks
Firstly I'm very new to all of this so apologies if this is trivial.I have been trying to debug and run a simple blinking led project onto a STM32WB nucleo board using the STM32CubeIDE v1.0 (MacOS). After staring the debugging session, the console displays download verified successfully yet I do not have the option to run the project only pause or terminate.Using breakpoints it seems to be getting hung up at the line, bl SystemInit in the file startup_stm32wb55rgvx.s and never actually gets to the main function. The project was created with the cubeMX inside the IDE. All firmware and software has been updated.Im asking this here because I have had success with the Atollic TrueStudio IDE which makes me think this issue is IDE based?? Or do i just have change some settings?
Is it possible to use STM32WB as NCP (network co-processor device) for border router in Thread network?
The answer from the processor isRSS state is WIRELESS_STACK_UPGRADE_ONGOINGRSS status is RSS_IMAGE_NOT_FOUNDRSS state is RSS_IDLERSS status is RSS_NO_ERRORFirmware Upgrade process started ...Updating firmware ...Firmware update finishedFirmware Upgrade command execution finishedI tryed with all the software (server, client ecc.) but it doesn't work. What I do not understand is that in help description it is said that file name and address are optional in fwupgrade command. How is it possible ? If I do not specify the binary file with the stack, how can it flash inside the micro ? Maybe they are silly questions, but I do not really understand where I am wrong. Thank you very much for helping me.

Hi,the program does not start if I connect a second usb power supply (or external power supply). The MCU runs normally when a st-link is connected. I tried a simple program - LED blink. The voltage on the MCU is good and the power LD6 is on. Any fuse or lock?Thank you

Hi, STM engineers !Using STM32CubeMX 5.1.0, selecting custom template - enabled and all other - disabled, Cube was generate code, but he does not compile.First error is in app_conf.h /**< Add in that list all tasks that may send a ACI/HCI command */ typedef enum { CFG_IdleTask_Update_Parameter, /**< Add in that list all tasks that never send a ACI/HCI command */ typedef enum { CFG_FIRST_TASK_ID_WITH_NO_HCICMD = CFG_LAST_TASK_ID_WITH_HCICMD - 1, /**< Shall be FIRST in the list */ CFG_TASK_SYSTEM_HCI_ASYNCH_EVT_ID, /* USER CODE BEGIN CFG_Task_Id_With_NO_HCI_Cmd_t */ /* USER CODE END CFG_Task_Id_With_NO_HCI_Cmd_t */ CFG_LAST_TASK_ID_WITHO_NO_HCICMD /**< Shall be LAST in the list */ } CFG_Task_Id_With_NO_HCI_Cmd_t;As you see, typedef beginning on line 2 does not end, and on line 7 new typedef began. The reason for the error is in the file "...STM32CubeMX\db\templates\stm32_wpan_app_conf_h.ftl".This is peace of code from that file:[#if (BT_SIG_BEACON = 1) |
Hi,For what and why in the most of BLE examples in STM32CubeWB are use LPUART1, UART1, RTC. What is the function of these peripheries in BLE examples.Thx
Hello! I have the STM32WB55CEU6 chip on my custom board. I try to flash BLE Stack via ST-LINK_CLI (SWD interface), but the following error is returned: Could not update the option bytes!Extended Log is attached. Also I have USB dongle on STM32WB55 (board MB1293C). I've connected SWD to the board and it is successfully flashed (chip from this board has earlier flashed BLE stack). I've soldered chip from MB1293C to my board and it's also successfully flashed. Then I've soldered the chip from my board to MB1293C and the flashing is failed. How to flash BLE stack in my chip?
I'm considering the STM32WB for a new design where I need long range Bluetooth serial connectivity.Ti (CC2640R2F) and Nordic (nrf52840) has demonstrated 1,5km links @ 125Kbps. Ti calls it CODING mode...Can STM32WB be configured to use the approach / protocol to achieve improved range?
Hi,I am using B-L072Z-LRWAN1and AT-Slave project from I-Cube-LORAWAN SDK. I can see the board keeps entering sleep mode and its been set for WFI but not sure which interrupt cause it to exit from sleep mode. How can I check which interrupt cause it to exist from sleep mode and how can I configure the sleep mode to exit only when there is data on UART line??
Hi, I recently acquired a STM32WB55 nucleo board and I would like to read various analog values through the ADC. My initial idea is to use Multi-Channel Scan conversion mode but i'm unable to enable it in the CubeMX. All peripherals are enabled in the default configuration for the board provided by the CubeMX but still, no luck.I attach various screen shots of the ADC configuration screen and the CLK configuration screen.Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I would like to get the traces of the Thread_Coap_MultiBoard Application to read the CoAP-Messages that are transmitted/received. I connected a tested USB-UART adapter to CN10 (35 + 37) and the terminal is running at 115200 8N1N. I already tried to swap RX/TX or use a different UART-adapter (Based on CP2102), but it didn't help. In app_thread.c, line 208 is set to "#define APP_DBF_EN 1". Has anyone tested this successfully?
Hi,I use the I-CUBE-LRWAN code in the B-L072Z-LRWAN1.When I want to read an ADC channel I use to read pin PA5:a = HW_AdcReadChannel(ADC_CHANNEL_5);And to read ADC channel PA4 I use:a = HW_AdcReadChannel(ADC_CHANNEL_4);By using the mlm32l0xx_hw.c.But for some reason only PA4 provides an correct ADC reading. All my other pins don't show the correct reading. Can anyone tell me how this is possible? Thanks in advance.
Hi,I am using B-L072Z-LRWAN1 and I-Cube-LORAWAN SDK specifically AT_Slave project. I am trying to put device in Stop mode but I can see it exist from stop mode immediately. How can I put some condition for device to exit from stop mode or not? Are there any example regarding this. Also is it necessary to connect TCXO to PA12. I have connected TCXO to 3.3V and getting huge current consumption?
Hello to all, Im new here I have two B-L072Z-LRWAN1 discovery board. Installed board support package from https://github.com/GrumpyOldPizza/ArduinoCore-stm32l0 I can able to program 1board using arduino ide but when i try to upload on 2nd Board its gave following errorThis same board is working on Keil IDE mean i can able upload program using keil IDE.So no board issue.I want to upload program Using Arduino IDE only.can any one help me in this? Thanks.
Hello,When running the example code for the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 module STM32CubeExpansion_LRWAN_V1.2.0 i have an extremely high run current. I added some user code running an algorithm which needs some seconds to terminate. The measured current during MCU calculations is 12.15 mA.When I look into the datasheet of the STM32L072 processor the calculation current should be around 7 mA. Why do I have this hight consumption and how do I optimize that?Regards
Hi,I am using B-L072Z-LRWAN1 and AT_Slave project from I-Cube-LRWAN. Can Anyone help me with the setup to measure current consumption like jumper position and across which pins to measure current?Thank You

Hello All,I'm planing to use a STM32WB55C on a design and I have the choice to either use an old-fashioned Pi matching network + Filter or use an integrated MN/Filter (MPLF-WB55-01E3).Knowing that the part have 0 stock (some expected in a few weeks on non-EU distributors), would you recommend to go the hard way (discretes) or the integrated one (with the risk of lacking or bared supply). Thanks in advance for your advises.Remy.
