Current consumption in run mode using B-L072Z-LRWAN1

Hello,

When running the example code for the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 module STM32CubeExpansion_LRWAN_V1.2.0 i have an extremely high run current. I added some user code running an algorithm which needs some seconds to terminate. The measured current during MCU calculations is 12.15 mA.

When I look into the datasheet of the STM32L072 processor the calculation current should be around 7 mA.

Why do I have this hight consumption and how do I optimize that?
