I'm trying to flash the wireless co-processor binaries onto my evaluation board to run one of the Bluetooth test programs. I'm following the procedure provided in the release notes of the wireless co processor binaries directory and it says to run the fwdelete command to clear the BLE stack firmware. However I'm getting the error shown in the attached screenshot. "Error: Could not execute fwdelete command, Security extension not instantiated"Any help in getting around this would be greatly appreciated.
We are working on B-L072Z LRWAN1. We are trying to read ADC. We set pins ADC and make the adjustments on CubeMX than import code to SystemWorkbench. But we got 3 types of error;1- Sometimes when we debug the code we got OpenOCD child process termination error. I search it on internet and I found some codes (like DBGMCU) to add but I dont know where to add this codes.Also I am confused about sometimes it doesnt get error like this even we change nothing.2- Second error there is no error at debug step but we dont see adc values I mean we always see 0 value at adc expression.3-Third error is Examination failed, GDB will be halted. I dont know anything about this.PLEASE HELP US!!!!
"The I-CUBE-LRWAN Expansion Package consists of a set of libraries and application examples for STM32L0, STM32L1 and STM32L4 Series microcontrollers acting as end-devices."Can i use the libraries comming with this package even if i am using a STM32F767ZI and not a STM32Lx?Simon
How to do Programming in cmwx12zzabz-078 Lora module..?Im new for STM32 controller. I purchased cmwx12zzabz-078 Lora module which is integration of STM32L082 and SX1276 module. when i connect this module its showing in device manages as "STM device in DFU mode".I followed some steps from here but its not working... https://www.dronetrest.com/t/zadig-drivers-for-cleanflight-betaflight-stm32-flight-controllers-dfu-mode/2719/13In Zadig software its showing as "STM32 BOOTLOADER"I intalled WINUSB(libusb) dirver in it through Zadig only. installed successfully.then its showing like following in device manager..i unistalled this drivers and upload WINUSB(Microsoft) dirver in it through Zadig only. installed successfully.then its showing like following in device manager..i tried so many things.. but not working.. can have any link to guid me steps by stepscan any one help me in this...?

Is there some kind of example of using stm32WB in the same way as HM-10 BLE. I need to communicate between controller and mobile phone. The simplest solution seems to be serial communication. Maybe someone have any example How to read and write value to custom Characteristick in service mode from code ? I saw an example but I am able to exchange only 2 bytes per transmission
It looks like ST only provides bin file to controls Radio, even reference manual also doesn't mention too much on the Radio system. I am wondering if there is any way to log all PHY payload of a PAN coordinator? Does anybody have experience on this?The reason I want to do so because I want to learn low level knowledge of 802.15.4 protocol.Thank you!
Hi Team,We are using STM32L072 Discovery kit LoRa module for reading CCS811 sensor over I2C peropheral. The Hardware Id (Deivce id) of the sensor is not able to read as the data line does not contain ACK signal at the end. We are using HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit and HAL_I2C_Master_Receive fucntions for I2C communication. Kindly suggest us, how can we proceed to resolve this issueThanking youArun

I am facing a challenge with the System event response codes. Digging into the FW I find the FW is looking for the status in the wrong part of CPU2's SystemCmdBuffer. It seems CPU2 respects the 8 byte header, whereas FW (with comments) says the evtserial starts immediately (and is coded so) (i.e. where the header would be). As a test, I FF'd out the header and the resultant evtcodes are all FF's indicating the FW is indeed looking into the header for status vs the actual packet return. As another test, I intentionally messed up SHCI_C2_BLE_Init to produce and illegal config. Indeed, the status, at the correct spot, changed from 0 to 0x48 (where is that code in a .h btw?). tnxHedleyHere is the detail:First, CPU2's revision info: hci_read_local_version_information(&HCI_Version, 9 &HCI_Revision, 36 &nbs
I'm trying to register a P-L496G-CELL01 Discovery Kit in the Concierge portal at www.stm32-c2c.com. The problem is that the portal doesn't seem to recognise that I click the confirmation email. Each time I try to register the new board, it just asks me to resend/confirm my email address. This is the first time I use the portal and have created a new account. I have tried several times, cleared cookies and restarted my PC. Is there a solution to this?
Has the API for the bluetooth, i.e. the aci_gatt_update_char_value etc etc
Hello, I am facing problems with installing the DFU Driver on my PC, I have followed the steps which are mentioned in UM2237 document which are the following: 1- installing STM32Cube Programmer 2- run STM32Bootloader.bat as administrator 3- put the Nucleo and the dongle on the boot mode 4- when I plug the USB nothing is detected at all in the device drivers !! And I'm using widnows 10.I want also to point out that I'm having a preliminary version of the board. If anyone is facing this problem please answer me !
I follow the instructions here:https://docs.zephyrproject.org/latest/boards/arm/nucleo_wb55rg/doc/nucleowb55rg.htmlI've built the .elf file, how do I flash this to my board? I see my board connected as a drive, I copy the elf file over but when I disconnect and reconnect it has disappeared.I'm on linux.
Hi, In my application i try to use a second nucleo board as Client. In the Android App my Service is shown as temperature value.Now i have Problems with get the specific data in the nucleo Client.Is there any Tutorial or how to for register the characteristics an eventhandler for doing that?Thanks for Help
Hello,I've just bought the STM32WB Nucleo Kit to develop an application. I've programmed with MCUs in the past mainly Arduino but also with the ATMega 168 directly. To learn how to use the STM32 I started watching this playlist from YouTube which is directly from STM (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLnMKNibPkDnGtuIl5v0CvC81Am7SKpj02). When I watched the HAL test program which toggles the led I wanted to test it myself. I know in the videos he uses the STM32F4 but he said it would work with other STM32s too but you maybe had to change some things. So I downloaded the STM32Cube IDE on Ubuntu (and later on Windows to eliminate any os regarding faults). There I created a new project for the nucleo board. I set the pin with the blue led (PB5) to GPIO Output or in another project I used the defaults from the nucleo board (wher it was set as gpio output). After that I generated the code and added to the while loop the code he added but with my pin:HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_5);
Hi, i am trying to use this function but always return me 0uint32_t SysTime2Ms( SysTime_t sysTime ) { SysTime_t DeltaTime; HW_RTC_BKUPRead( &DeltaTime.Seconds, ( uint32_t* )&DeltaTime.SubSeconds ); SysTime_t calendarTime = SysTimeSub( sysTime, DeltaTime ); return calendarTime.Seconds * 1000 + calendarTime.SubSeconds; }this is the argument that the function needs, i dont know if i am making something wrong (probably yes)/*! * \brief Structure holding the system time in seconds and milliseconds. */ typedef struct SysTime_s { uint32_t Seconds; int16_t SubSeconds; }SysTime_t;my code:SysTime_t time_argument[2]; uint32_t time; int main( void ) { time = SysTime2Ms(time_argument[1]); while( 1 ) { PRINTF("system time: %d\n\r", time); } }I am trying to get the system time in the BL072Z end_node example, i always have used Hal_GetTick(); but also returns 0.thanks
I am new to Bluetooth development so maybe the answer is obvious. I would like to use BLE on a wearable for indoor localization with Eddystone beacons, so far so good. At the same time (or in a timeframe) I would like to transmit information via BLE from the wearable to other devices, does Bluetooth protocol contemplate this feature? Should the localized device switch profile in real-time for localizing, and then for data transmission? Data to be transmitted are integer numbers changing sporadically, I don't need speed but robustness (the integer number must be delivered when a change happens). Thanks!
I want to switch between ZIGBEE and BLE online
Sorry for such a newbie question....I can connect and debug in CubeMX, was trying to get a project started in CubeIDE.I can select the CPU, but I don't see the board package. Is there some initialization I might be missing? IDE connects, then pausing debug, it is in the fault loop. Hi All,May i check with you all on the following question, 1. The data needs to be sent to server/cloud, therefore a gateway is required. Does ST have a solution on the BLE gateway?2. If the BLE Module is used, mesh topology will be employed. Does ST provide any support on the mesh firmware? Much thanks.
Hey thereWe are developing LoRa Applications based on I-CUBE-LRWAN Stack. 1.5 Years ago, i ported it into a freertos and it worked great. now i'm trying to port the newer version of the stack and i'm not able to connect to the things network. to my own gateway it isn't a problem at all and the nodes with the old firmware can connect to ttn without a problem. Now i'm running the ATSlave Example on the B-L072z-LRWAN Evaluation kit and i'm not able to connect to TheThingsNetwork either. Does anybody has the same issues? It's really strange because it worked with the old stack and now i'm confused and stuck...
When I use the IDE to configure USART1 in Half-Duplex mode, the GPIO setting is wrong.Indeed, PB7 is set instead of PB6.Also, its mode is set to GPIO_MODE_AF_PP instead of GPIO_MODE_AF_OD.This cannot be changed from the IDE/MX configuration wizard, unfortunately.
