Hi there,I am working on Murata cmwx1zzabz (i.e. STM32L072CZ) and my code is based on the ST en.i-cube_lrwan. For all the basic stuff (joining, sending messages) it runs fine. The Mac commands, that actually manage the network, are OK except the "sticky" ones.As stated in the Semtech library, "The sticky answers were introduced to the specification in order to ensure that critical MAC commands have been understood by the end-device. You can see the sticky answers like an acknowledgement." So these sticky Mac commands require some acknowledge from the device because it is related to critical parameter (sticky Mac commands are SRV_MAC_RX_PARAM_SETUP_REQ, SRV_MAC_RX_TIMING_SETUP_REQ, SRV_MAC_DL_CHANNEL_REQ). So when the device is receiving one of these, the Mac layer notifies the application layer that an uplink is required as soon as possible. The MlmeIndication callback is then executed.But looking at the ST library lora.c (more specially LORA_TxNeeded() ) nothing is implemented. Nothin

I am new to STM32WB, i have written BLE middle-ware application it is working on Scheduler, in main while Loop SCH_Run(~0) is handlling the entire middleware, now i want to wirte the actual application for Cortex-M4 but when i add anything in the While loop my BLE Stack stop working. So kindly guide me how to code in Multi-core controller
Is there a possibility to use the STM32WBxx with wifi? I know it can handle bluetooth or zigbee.Or maybe is there in the near future a firmeware upgarde to use wifi?Thanks!
According to manual I should getFast channels: 0.234 μs for 12-bit resolution (4.27 Ms/s)Slow channels: 0.297 μs for 12-bit resolution (3.37 Ms/s)but I am getting only get 2Ms/s.I am clocking the chip at 64MHz and using P-NUCLEO-WB55 evaluation board and using a fast channel. I can get faster (3Ms/s) by setting timer counter to 1 (smallest), but the timer will trigger at much faster speeds then the sampling rate achieved.I am usind STM32CubeMX to configure the device.
The Gateway uses the Semtech SX1301 / SX1257 Chipsatzdesign, LoRa frequencies 863 - 870 MHz (EU)
Hi everyone,I have built two custom boards (One server and and one node) and my application requires that the server and client communicate with each other and exchange the following parameters.A name in stringDate day and time.The server will send above information to client and client will store it. The client will ring when the time received from sever arrives. That would be through RTC alarm.The questions are1. How to send the information from the server to client?2. How to store use that information on the client side to ring RTC alarm?3. How to retrieve mac address of the node(client) and store it in server?Any help would be highly appreciated.Warm Regards
Hello,I want to make payload with 32 chars in my ble servise, I'm changing it in p2pstm.c like in workshop, but nothing more than 20 chars does't transmits. Also allready tried to change the ATT_MTU value in appConf.h - didn't help. How to do it?
Dear Pro,I currently run a application with B-L072Z-LRWAN1 Discovery kit. I use sample code STM32CubeExpansion_SFOX_V1.1.0/Sgfx_push_button. In this project have:SIGFOX_API_send_frame(ul_msg, ul_size, dl_msg, nbTxRepeatFlag, SFX_FALSE); PRINTF("----Respose----"); for (i=0; i < 8; i ++){ PRINTF("%02X ", dl_msg[i]) ; }Document for this function:sfx_error_t SIGFOX_API_send_frame ( sfx_u8 * customer_data, sfx_u8 customer_data_length, sfx_u8 * customer_response, sfx_u8 tx_repeat, sfx_bool initiate_downlink_flag ) Send a standard SIGFOX frame with customer payload. Customer payload cannot exceed 12 Bytes. If initiate_downlink_flag is set, the frame will be send as many times as (tx_repeat + 1). tx repeat cannot exceed 2. If initiate_downlink_flag is unset, the tx_repeat is forced to 2. In downlink : Send uplink frames (1 to 3) Receive downlink frame Send out of band frame (Voltage, temperature and RSSI) In uplink : Send uplink frames (3) Parameters [in]
I have loaded SE 1.3.0 out of the box (only changed app and dev ids) onto a Nucleo board, and after a few uplinks (data) the loraserver does not send a downlink confirmation, as if the fcnt is incorrect. In fact the fCnt is OK. It could be that the MIC is invalid, but the loraserver does not trace why it does not respond to the uplink.This is a problem with 1.3.0 as if I load a previous version 1.2.x it functions correctly.follows trace21:50:47.8: SEND REQUESTTX on freq 868300000 Hz at DR 021:50:49.5: 151s905: PHY txDone21:50:50.6: RX on freq 868300000 Hz at DR 021:50:51.9: 154s251: PHY rxDone154s253: APP> McpsConfirm STATUS: OK154s254: #= U/L FRAME 2 =# Class A, Port 2, data size 16, pwr 6, Channel Mask 00FF 154s256: APP> McpsInd STATUS: OK154s256: #= D/L FRAME 1 =# RxWin 1, Port 0, data size 0, rssi -45, snr 9 21:50:57.7: SEND REQUEST21:51:07.8: SEND REQUEST21:51:17.7: SEND REQUESTTX on freq 867500000 Hz at DR 021:51:19.6: 181s905: PHY txDoneRX on freq 867500000 Hz at DR 0
Hi). I made a minimal design for STM32WB55 on board. This board has 3 program pads. There ara GND, SWDIO, SWCLK. Сontroller current is 11mA at the factory program. I try to flash the controller using these contacts, but nothing works. I use ST_LINK (STM32F407 discovery) and ST_LINK Utility. How i can flash this controller?
Looking for the either code examples (possibly simplified for understanding), or a guide for Bluetooth server implementation on a Nucleo STM32WB55 board for data reception and transmission.The sample demo for purchased P-Nucleo STM32WB55 pack (board and dongle) with switching LED was tested and works fine. However, it's code does not seem to make it clear at all.
Hello,I had modified the original HandsOn_3 example and it works fine for me based on the UTIL_SEQ_Run() timing mechanism :)However, I'd like to use a different timing mechanism based on freeRTOS !!So I compiled the BLE_HeartRateFreeRTOS project example located at STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.3.0 (CubeMX 5.4) as a CubeIDE (1.1.0) project,Unfortunately the project start running and then stuck inside the procedure osKernelStart();seems, received an WWDG interrupt (see attached snapshot)although the WWDG compile flag is remarked /*#define HAL_WWDG_MODULE_ENABLED */Any Idea?Thanks In Advance,Micha
I've been tasked with figuring out how to get a mobile app to communicate with an MCU then in turn control a stepper motor. Right now I'm trying to get the WiFi module (ESP8266-01) and MCU (NUCLEO-F030R8) to play nice with each other. The catch is I have little to no experience and no education in this field. The closest experience I have is simple Arduino sketches from years ago (IE photo-resistor values driving a stepper motor) and making desktop applications with C#. I am using STM32CubeIDE but if there's a better option I can switch to that. What I would very much like help on is send and receive simple data between a smartphone and the MCU via the WiFi module. I understand this is probably a large topic in its own right and a short blurb on the internet won't do it (and undoubtedly its multiple subcategories) justice. But I might as well ask.Sorry if this is too much and thank you in advance.
Hi,Should I use 100pF capasitor in series after MLPF-WB55-01E3 for the DC blocking?Is there full schematic and reference design for STM32WB55 with MLPF-WB55-01E3?Br, Oleg
I'm trying to program BLE stack on a custom board based on STM32WB55CG. I'm using SWD, CubeProgrammer 2.2, CubeFW_WB 1.1.1.First I've successfully performed -fwdelete. But then I got "Firmware not authentic" error trying to make -fwupgrade. So I've set RDP 0xBB and back to 0xAA folowing this advice . And now I'm just unable to read or download anything except option bytes.STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=swd mode=UR -ob nSWboot0=0 nboot1=1 nboot0=1 -fwupgrade stm32wb5x_FUS_fw.bin 0x080EC000 firstinstall=0 ------------------------------------------------------------------- STM32CubeProgrammer v2.2.0 ------------------------------------------------------------------- ST-LINK SN : 066EFF393738425043094308 ST-LINK FW : V2J33M25 Voltage : 2.38V SWD freq : 4000 KHz Connect mode: Under Reset Reset mode : Hardware reset Device ID : 0x495 Device name : STM32WBxx Flash size : 1 MBytes Device type : MCU Device CPU : Cortex-M0+/M4 UPLOADING OPTION BYTES DATA ... Hello to everyone,I am reading time with RTC on my board but milisecond is downcounter as mention on datasheet. I need to see milisecond to up counter on serial port. How can i do it?Thanks.
Hi,I'm trying to run ping pong example in f411 board with sx12mb2das module but it doens't work and I don't know why (I have b-l072z-lrwan running as receptor). Has anybody ran the program in that board?Thank you.
Hi. I have a brand new STM32 LORA and SIgfox discovery kit. I try to send any AT-command but i Only/always recieve txdone, onrxtimeout,ontxdone what is wrong???Best regardsBjarne
Hello everyone, I am debugging my stm32L073+sx1272 in the pingpong mode. I run the program in debug mode. I know that there is a while loop and the "state" variable should be the variable to implement different functions such as TX RX RX_TIMEOUT and so on. Though I read the manual, I don't know when and where the "state" variable is modified. It is modified in the IRQ Interrupt? Thanks.
I'm trying to flash the FUS and BLE_stack to the co-processor, but the CubeProgrammer drops me the error below. I could not even delete the previous FUS as the release note said. Same error message. The flash was erased by changing the protection byte to 0xBB and then back to 0xAA. Could that be my problem? The MCU is on a custom PCB, and the important parts are the same as on the WB55-Nucleo and I'm using a nucleo with s-link to program through SWD. The application runs perfectly on the M4 (except the bluetooth part).So the error message is: "Error: Could not execute fwupgrade command, Security extension not instantiated".Any help is appreciated.Thanks in advance!
