I am trying to print the debug messages in different c files to check the flow of execution. Debug messages like;BLE_DBG_CRS_STM_MSG("RX Characteristic is added Successfully 0x%02X\n", CRSContext.CRSRXCharHdle); 2. APP_DBG_MSG("-- GAP GENERAL DISCOVERY PROCEDURE_COMPLETED\n");Thanking in advance.....
HI, I have a custom board STMWB55CGU6. I have connected it to a ST-LINK V2 to try to debug it. I have connected the correct pins (GND, NRST, SWDIO and SWCLK) but the STLINK is unable to detect the PCB. It shows the error as shown in the picture below and I have tried the method of connect under reset but to no avail also.Any ideas on this problem? Due to the fact that I am unable to detect the Microcontroller, I am unable to neither program or debug it.
I have checked all the required positions of the jumpers on the STM32 Nucleo board as follows: • JP1 - USB STL • JP2 ON • JP3 ON I have installed Java 8. I have selected ST-Link mode, the device is visible in device manager as STLink Virtual PortI also upgraded the firmware .Next , when I am trying to connect , Its showing an Error: No STM32 target found! Please let me know, what am I missing?Thank You
Stack versions: LRWAN_V1.2.1Hardware: CMWX1ZZABZ-091 Murata moduleHello,I have some devices connected to Orange french lora network. I loose one device and looking on uplink history, i see that the last uplink show a frame counter with the value 65535. I think it is a mater of counter overflow from device or network side. I update my soft to do again a lora_init() after 65000 uplink, but i think this should be handle by the lora stack?Regards,Fabrice.
I'm trying to port simple Keil project (which works on my custom STM32WL board) to CubeIDE and got to a point where it compiles and I can flash the board using stlink+GDB (I patched the stlink to add STM32WL support). However, it seems like when I try to write to some CPU register it is stored in the next register (for example, at the beginning of the startup file I add a line to store some value to R7 but the GDB shows it in R8).The consequence of that is that when the default 0xffffffff value is stored to LR it is written to PC and the CPU tries to (unsuccessfully) jump to that address.Does anyone have any ideas where should I look for the issue?
I found error in STM32Cube_FW_WL_V0.3.0 in stm32wle5xx.h FLASH_TypeDef without ACR2, its lead to problem with lock/unlock
In Group 1 G1_IO4 is a sampling capacitor and G1_IO3 is a sheild and in Group 2 G2_IO2 is sampling capacitor and G2_IO1 is input touch key. In Group 3 G3_IO4 is a sampling capacitor and G3_IO2 is a input touch key. so when i programmed with this configuration it detect touch from the shield not from the touch keys.My touch key code is this if(MyTKeys[0].p_Data->StateId == TSL_STATEID_DEB_RELEASE_DETECT) { HAL_GPIO_WritePin(LED2_GPIO_Port,LED2_Pin,RESET); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(LED1_GPIO_Port,LED1_Pin,SET); } if(MyTKeysB[1].p_Data->StateId == TSL_STATEID_DEB_RELEASE_DETECT) {HAL_GPIO_WritePin(LED2_GPIO_Port,LED2_Pin,SET); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(LED1_GPIO_Port,LED1_Pin,RESET); }Please give me the solution why the touch detect from shield not form Touch keys.
How should a user key be provisioned when only SWD access is possible?I see that while flashing the wireless firmware, Stm32CubeProgrammer first flashes a FUS_Operator binary. Can this FUS_Operator somehow be used to program a user key into the STM32WB?
To access AT command i have USB to UART FTDI adaptor from sparkfun.do i need to put firm ware inside chip for AT command for Lora?do i need to connect crystal osc of 8Mhz to work with AT command. No AT response from module in COM PORT Arduino!
In my STM32CubeIDE version 1.3.1 Build: 6291_20200406_0752 (UTC), the IDE automatically added the "--specs=nano.specs" for the GCC assembler. However, the GCC assembler doesn't recognized the "--specs=nano.specs" option.I want to remove or disable the "--specs=nano.specs" for the GCC assembler as.My STM32 mcu is ARM cortex-m4 STM32WB55.My EVB is STM32WB55 Nucleo Pack. The GCC assembler version is GNU assembler version 2.30.0 (arm-none-eabi) using BFD version (GNU Tools for STM32 7-2018-q2-update.20190328-1800) 2.30.0.20180329The build error message is as following.make all arm-none-eabi-as -mcpu=cortex-m4 -mthumb -g -c --specs=nano.specs -mfloat-abi=soft -mthumb -o "MDK-ARM/startup_stm32wb55xx_cm4.o" "../MDK-ARM/startup_stm32wb55xx_cm4.s"arm-none-eabi-as: unrecognized option `--specs=nano.specs'make: *** [MDK-ARM/subdir.mk:15: MDK-ARM/startup_stm32wb55xx_cm4.o] Error 1"make all" terminated with exit code 2. RE: STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.7.0\Projects\P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo\Applications\BLE\BLE_HeartRateFreeRTOS\Core\Src\stm32_lpm_if.c /** * The switch on HSI before entering Stop Mode is required on Cut2.0 * It is useless from Cut2.1 */ Switch_On_HSI( );Seems like it would be great for efficiency if we could deterministically avoid this work in and out of power off mode.
Say the LoRa device is out of coverage of gateways. Has anyone seen libraries that would allow storage until coverage is regained?
Dear All,We have been working on STM32WB-NUCLEO Board from few days and started with the P2P Server example. We went ahead and tried to implement the P2P Server using only the Custom Template provided in STM Cube IDE (CubeMX). We are facing following issues with it for which we would like to have some guidance to find where the issue might be (The code has been attached for reference)STM32CubeIDE Version 1.3.0STM32WB CubeMX Version 1.7.01. In the generated code, file custom_stm.c (line number 254 and 265) a bug was found where in the function aci_gatt_update_char_value the first parameter should be service handle but the generated code had passed characteristic handle. In the attached code this has been corrected. Before this correction notification on button press wasn’t working and this correction resolved that issue. I am a bit concerned why a released software has such simple issue(s) or is this just a problem in my development system. 2. &nb
Hello! I am trying to save the data that I receive through bluetooth in the 1M flash memory of the Nucleo board(STM32WB55). But when I call HAL_FLASH_Unlock() the program goes to HardFault_Handler function and stands in the while(1). Besides that there are many addresses that have question marks"??" what decreases the available memory for me. The start address to save to is 0x0800A000. Any idea how to make my board save properly?
Hi everyone!I have stm32L072 chip and sx1272 lorachip.I had developed a simple end-node device with stm32 lrwan library and endnode example for nucleo board.Developed by Atollic True Studio.Versions is: MAC_VERSION= 04.04.02.00 and STM32CubeExpansion_LRWAN_V1.3.1options that i had used to: 1)LORAWAN_ADR_ON - true; 2)Global define REGION_EU868; 3)server's chanels list:3.1) FIXED; (servers chanel default);3.2) FIXED;3.3) FIXED;3.4) 867,1 MHz;3.5) 867,3 MHz;3.6) 867,5 MHz;3.7) 867,7 MHz;3.8) 867,9 MHz;Questions: My firmware program is always send data by three chanels: 868,1MHz, 868,3MHz, 868,3MHz. How can I add the missing channels?

Hello,We are a group of students of Polytech Nice in a project using the STEVAL-STRKT01 LoRa tracker for GPS detection in the mountains. We know that this tracker is able to detect the accelerometer and we would like to use it with interruptions if the values change drastically in a short time. That being said, we are having troubles with this board and we'd hope anyone could help us.This LoRa tracker is supposed to be able to send information across many kilometers (could you confirm this please?), but last week we weren't able to send the buffer for over one kilometer. This may be because of the weight of the buffer of the topology of the terrain, as we were in the mountains between 800 and 1200 meters high, and there were many trees between the transmitter and the receiver. So do you know if this board is sensible to the topology or by things in between ?The code for the tracker was given to us and we haven't found a way to change the frequency data send. This code is contained in a

I am using the STM32WB55 Nucleo board and the firmware pack (currently at 1.7.0) includes examples for the standard set of IDEs (EWARM,MDK-ARM & SW4STM32). I can import the SW4 project into the STM32CubeIDE, but it does not retain the link to the CubeMX file (which is in the root folder of the project). Is there any intention to update these firmware packs to the include ST's "preferred" compiler? It seems this should be the priority if they would like to get people to use it!
I have made my own board using the STM32WB55CGU processor (the 48 pin package, as used on the Nucleo Dongle, MB1293C.I am now trying to get the BLE working and tuned. The first step, it seems, is to load the transparent mode firmware into the chip which passes the USART TX & RX through to the BLE stack. It seems the firmware in the title should do this, but it is currently using the VCP, and I don't have the USB broken out on my board, so I can't use this. I do, however, have the USART coming out.Is there a simple way of switching this over to the USART in the sample code? I am using the STM32CubeIDE, and have imported the project, but it does not include the CubeMX file.
Hello - My project is based on the SensorDemoBLESensor application built using using the CubeMX tool version 5.6.1 with the X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 development board attached to a NUCLEO-F303RE. I successfully added 5 custom characteristics to my first custom service. When I attempt to add a 6th characteristic the aci_gatt_add_char() returned 0x48 (BLE_STATUS_OUT_OF_MEMORY) on the STM32F303. I added a 2nd custom service and successfully added the characteristic that failed to add on the first service. So I don't think this a total memory problem. The modified the default DTM settings in DTM_Config.h running on the BlueNRG-M2 as follows:#define DTM_NUM_LINK 2 // Was 8#define DTM_NUM_GATT_SERVICES 5 // Was 8#define DTM_NUM_GATT_ATTRIBUTES 125 // Was 68#define ATT_VALUE_ARRAY_SIZE (3000) // Was 1248I still see the error. There seems to be a limit to the number of characteristics (attributes) per
How can I use frequency hopping application of STM32WLE5? due to I didn't find any information on the website, but this function show on the firmware package. Could you please help us?thanks a lot.
Hi, in the datasheet of the BL072Z board says: (pag 17)"LD5 = Green when communication "But when I connect the board with the UART port to program and see the data in the terminal the LD5 is in red color and everything works ok, but then the LD5 sometimes turn on green and the node stop working, I had to reconnect it to restart the Tx, why?thanks
Hello! I am trying to download the FUS V1.1.0.0 to a STM32WB5xE controller through SWD in CubeProgrammer so as to update the firmware. But I receive Error: --Reserved-- . I ignored it and downloaded the firmware successfuly but my BLE stack doesn't work :( . I have soldered the controller in my board and connected some peripherals to him and everything is working ех?еpt BLE. What can I do?
