I need a good STM32WL module. Can anyone advise me to choosing this?

Hello everyone,I'm trying to build a server application with the STM32WB55 but I can't get the advertising state. I took example on the server example in the STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.0.0 and I think it is pretty similar but it doen't work as intended. I made some researches and I find someone with the same problem here : https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000AhPJcCSQW/trying-to-get-the-advertising-state . However the proposed solution didn't work for me and I still can't get the advertising state. The programm doesn't run APPE_SysUserEvtRx() because I don't receive VS_HCI_C2_Ready I think.Would anyone has any idea on why it behaves this way and how to solve this problem ?Thank you.

Hi all,How can I launch a request to synchronize the date/time at the application level using the LoRa's Stack that the STM32WL uses?I have seen that there is a function to launch that request, but it is not accessible at the application level since it is defined in the .c but not in the .hLmHandler.c <<LmHandlerDeviceTimeReq()>>Is there any way to call this function without modifying the codeBest Regards, Sergio

How may I obtain the P-Nucleo-LRWAN2 pack, my special interrest is the Gateway.

The documentation for STM32WB55 Nucleo states that a 5.2 stack is available ("comes with") but the BT stack provided in STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.11.0 is a 5.0 stack...Regards,AC

Hi,I received my kit and saw that the package was damaged in some place. After powering on NUCLEO-L073RZ, no obvious problem (LED are OK).On NUCLEO-F746ZG, everything seems OK too (LED OK)On LRWAN_GS_HF1, no LED turns ON. If I understand well, at least a PWR LED is supposed to turn on when powered.I tried both Power connector (on the LRWAN_GS_HF1 and on the NUCLEO-F746ZG, with the same result. I suspect that the board is DOA.Can you help please?Thanks.

Hello,We are finalizing the low power modes of our project and can't manage to solve this issue.We are going correctly into Low Power Mode via the UTIL_SEQ_Idle and related functions...But it looks the CPU2 (BLE) doesn't wake up the CPU1.Our application launches a aci_gap_start_general_discovery_proc and then sends the CPU1 to sleep....I'm waiting for the completed scan event ( EVT_BLUE_GAP_PROCEDURE_COMPLETE ) but we don't receive it, sometimes it works because in the main code we have timers that wakeup regularly CPU1 so if the completed event occurs when CPU1 is running everyrhing works.What are we doing wrong?ThanksMassimo

Hello,I'm struggling with BLE scanning on an STM32WB55 based application as GAP_CENTRAL_ROLE.We need to scan for beacons, and can't see any with ADV_NONCONN_IND, if device Advertises as connectable everything works perfectly.Any suggestions welcomed.Massimo

since the board has Lora embed with the kit. i want was set up the rf connectivity to transfer data between two such device.Any one please guide me with setup and code

I want to enable Terminal I/O using SWO for printf() function. I can't figure out why Iit doesn't work on that examples. It work on other examples (FreeRTOS and HAL Template).I follow the instructions from the IAR EW app manual and it doesn't worked. I read that it might be from the clock configuration but I don't know how to set it. :sad_but_relieved_face:

Further investigating I see that the problem seems related to symbols exported for the se_interface, compiled into the 2_Images_SBSFU_CM0PLUS project and exported as .elf and .o file, thus included in the 2_Images_UserA__CM0PLUS project linking phase. Running STM32CubeIDE 1.6.0 on Windows 10 with WL firmware pack 1.0.0. I'm no more able to proceed... Hi ,We have designed the custom PCB based on "MB1720", tried the LORAWAN_end_node example on our custom board. but there is no signal out from RF antenna. do we need to modify anything related to MB1720? We have the NUCLIO-WL55JC devboard, the same is working fine with default code(updated Region parameters to India).Can you please suggest me if i need to make any changes in code with respect to MB1720.just for your info: custom board with MB1720 is working fine with other examples, also Lorawan_end_node running fine without any error's, but i could not see any data on packet forwarder in gateway.Thanks in Advance.Regards,SaiRam.

Hello,I wonder if this exist or will exist in a near future. The wireless firmware for the STM32WB are clearly indicated they are not compatible with Border Router use case. M2SA or M2SP device looks promising. What isn't clear to me is if this module needs to interact with a separate micro for my program? or is there room for my program in this module? I am trying to do an energy analysis.

I created custom pcbs with STM32WB35CC with 256KB flash. If I understand correctly, controller shipped with no ble stack installed. So, i need to program one, but all information i found is only about wb55 and Nucleo boards. I couldn't find addresses to write FUS and stack files.I tried to use cubeprogrammer and connect via SWD and USB to my controller. When I connect via SWD, it cannot read the FUS version. Is it pre-installed? I tried to write BLE_stack file to 0x0800b000 (analogy with wb55 manual), but i-m not shure this is correct.When I connect via USB, cubeprogrammer generates a lot of errors and freezes.

So I am trying to synchronize microphones with a clap board; that works nicely as-is but when I tried to change the N_MS_PER_INTERRUPT to 10 (on both BVOPUS_PER and BVOPUS_CEN), I get clicks in my audio signal.I've changedN_MS_PER_INTERRUPTAUDIO_OUT_MSand the N_MS_PER_INTERRUPT in cca02m2_conf.hBut still clicks... is there somewhere I'm missing? Can BLE handle a 10ms buffer?
