Hello,I tried to open and test a LoRaWAN example for the STM32WL, Nucleo-6344 board but it returned an error message shown in the attachment. Can you advise, please? Thanks,Mohammed
Hello.I have a STM32 Nucleo board and a USB dongle. What Stack and FW should be programmed to use STM32CubeMonitor-RF 802.15.4 RF test mode described in chapter 5 of the UM2288?Thanks.
Hello,I have created mesh by embedded provisioner. Mesh contains, let's say, 5 more nodes. I know where are saved node addresses, number of elements and device keys for all nodes (embedded provisioner has them saved in NVM memory). Is there any function or place in NVM memory, which contains more information about each node? Let's say, type of model (generic on/off, sensor server,...), property ID of sensor server model, publish/subscribe address etc.I am using Nucleo board with STM32WB55RG and SDK version 1.10.0. Vit
Hi there!I added 3 characteristics to the p2p server example, with lengths of 2, 2 and 64 bytes. Event processing occurs directly in the p2p_stm_app_notification (p2p_server_app.c) function. The Client performs 16 iterations a La:{ char1.write(2 byte); char2.write(2 byte); delay(100 ms); char1.read(64 byte); }It takes about 12 seconds, it's too slow. The client application was implemented on flutter(android) and on the script for BLEConsole(Win 10), running on different devices, the execution time is unchanged, so I think that the problem is in my implementation of the application on STM32WB. The first thing I tried to change was Slave_Conn_Interval_Min and Slave_Can_Interval_Max in the aci_gap_set_discoverable function at 6, and 80 (accordingly 7.5 ms min and 100 ms max). In the EVT_LE_COQ_COMPLETE handler, the value connection_complete_event - >Count_Interval = 39 ( accordingly 50 ms). But it didn't increase the speed. Tell me please, what can be the

I would like to turn on the LED on the board with an external switch instead of using the one provided on the board. Which pins do I use and how do I approach this?
As soon as I add a task to the scheduler and schedule it to run once every 5 seconds, when the timer fires and the sequencer tries to run the task the STM32 goes to the hard fault handler.I'm using the latest example BLE_p2pServer from STM32CubeWB 1.5.0, the example is as-is, except for adding "deviceModes.c":#include "deviceModes.h" void StandbyMode(); void QueueStandbyMode(); const int SCH_PRIORITY_STANDBY_MODE = CFG_SCH_PRIO_20; uint8_t standbyTimerId; #define FIVE_S (5 * 1000 * 1000 / CFG_TS_TICK_VAL) void RegisterDeviceModes() { UTIL_SEQ_RegTask(CFG_TASK_STANDBY_MODE, UTIL_SEQ_RFU,StandbyMode); HW_TS_Create(CFG_TIM_PROC_ID_ISR, &standbyTimerId, hw_ts_Repeated, QueueStandbyMode); HW_TS_Start(standbyTimerId, FIVE_S); } void QueueStandbyMode() { UTIL_SEQ_SetTask(1 << CFG_TASK_STANDBY_MODE, SCH_PRIORITY_STANDBY_MODE); } void StandbyMode() { BSP_LED_Toggle(LED_RED); HAL_Delay(5); BSP_LED_Toggl
Hi all,I cannot detect MCU STM32WLE5CC by ST-Link V2.My schematic:Could you show me my mistake? Thank you very much.
Greetings friendsI'm trying to find the workflow to effectively set-up a STM32WB55 to work with a HSE and LSI (no LSE) and just can't seem to be able make this work while others claims it works fine. Everything works perfectly with HSE and LSE using the p2pserver example however as soon as I set the CubeIDE's clock settings to LSI the device refuse to connect.I've read in another thread that you are required to set HSE/1024. How do you achieve this? In CubeIDE or this is a hardcoded function somewhere? Thanks
Hi,I'm working with the new STM32WLE5 MCU. I switched to our custom board recently, and because of that I'm using a Segger debugger. Prior we used a Nucleo board with the STLink debugger and that worked fine. Now I adjusted my debug settings for the segger and the CubeIDE tells me that the target device STM32WLE5JC ist not supported. And when I go through the list of devices (which then poped up) there are in fact none of this type.I have installed IDE version 1.6.0. Then I downloaded the J-Link tools from segger V6.98c and when I'm starting the J-Link commander I can connect and download my program. In their device list the STM32WLE5 devices are there...So my question: Can you fix this? When can we expect, that the IDE supports this MCU? Otherwise we might switch the IDE, so that we are able to debug. But we would rather not...Thanks!Stefan
Hello,I'm working on a project in which I want to connect to a tag that sends a Bluetooth signal with a L072Z-LRWAN1 board having a STM32L072CZYx MCU and the SPBTLE-RF Bluetooth component. There is the X-CUBE-BLE1 software pack that could help me realize that but I don't quite understand which application should I use. I think the eddystone beacon is the most appropriate but there is no tutorial or explanation on how to use the functions related to that. All I want is to connect to my tag and I cannot find this particular function and I really don't understand the settings of the beacon. For example when they ask you to configure a MAC address, is it the MAC address of my module or of my tag?If anyone knows anything regarding the BLE topic please let me know. Thanks,Mohamed
The datasheet for STM32WB5MMG says there are 2× DMA controllers (seven channels each) supporting ADC, SPI, I2C, USART, QSPI, SAI, AES, timers. It also says to reference DS11929 (The datasheet for STM32WB55) on page 2. DS11929 shows there only certain pins dedicated to SPI. Hence, I'm confused.
Hello.I have a task to evaluate RF range and penetration of the STM32WB based module. We plan to migrate from Microchip module to STM32WB5MMG module. The +6dBm output power of the ST module is a bit concerning compared to +20dBm we had from Microchip. What is the best way to make an evaluation and field testing using P-NUCLEO-WB55pack ?I have installed all the STM32WB ecosystem and even managed to brick one of the Nucleo boards. But still have one board and two USB dongles operating.Thanks.
Hello!I'm new to the STM32 tools. I'm trying to use the X-CUBE-EEPROM_V3.0.0 package in the CubeIDE with a uC from the STM32WL series. It seems more difficult than expected.1) In the package, there are example projects for Keil uVision AND CubeIDE for all uC families, except for the STM32WLxx. For this family, only an example project for Keil uVision is provided. Why? Is there a way to use this example in the CubeIDE (kind of project migration)?2) In CubeMX tool, there isn't the option to enable the eeprom emulator library. So my question is: How can properly integrate this library into my project?3) I tried to create a new project with default settings for the NUCLEO-WL55JC1, then copy/paste all the necessary files in my project folder and replacing "user" files, like main, STM32wlxx_hal_msp, and stm32wl_it (.h and .c). Then, I linked new files in my project by using "New\Files...", Advanced, tick "Link to file in the file system" and select the needed files (one by one... yes that wa
..
I am using SAI protocol to get the audio output...For now I am directly using the bin file provided in the sample code...I just wanted to know if we have mp3 file or any other format other then bin file, how it can be dumped to board using STM32CubeProgrammer.
Dear Hosts! I seem to have a problem joining the meeting. The link I recieved is not working. Yesterday I had no problem with joining the help-me session. Could you please resend the link to me?

Hi -- AN5434 refers to using the MB1623 MCU reference design board with several add-on antenna PCBs without specific PCB part numbers, but AN5434 links only to a PDF and it doesn't include either all the needed antenna trace / PCB CAD dimensions or a ZIP with the full drawings / CAD files for the MB1623 + antenna reference design PCBs.Please provide the MB1623 + antenna PCBs gerber CAM manufacturing files and / or the Altium / DXF CAD design data for the PCB and trace patterns in AN5434 / MB1623 related antenna PCB boards.Without the full dimension specifications (e.g. trace diameters, and also full trace shape / length / position data vs. the PCB edges) it is literally impossible to use *any* of the reference design antenna / board shapes in AN5434 for making subsequent simulation or PCB design because of the missing dimensional information.I realize *some* of the the dimensions of the antenna traces and PCB edges are given in AN5434 PDF, however if you look closely many necessar
Hello all,Thanks for your supportI'm using STM32WB55cc MCU and I want to read the LDR and PIR sensor value using ADC. In ADC1, channel 6 (CH6), channel 11(CH11) are using. how to configure and read the data From ADC1. NOTE: STM32WB55cc MCU has a single adc ADC1.Kindly do the needful.Regards,Srikanth
I am using B-L072Z-LRWAN1. I ran the ping pong application ready here. I wanted to set up timer interrupt myself but there is no .ioc file. I opened another project, set up a timer in cubemx, tried and run it, and added it to the ping pong project. but timer interrupt ping pong did not work in the project. I wonder if you have a solution.
We figure that the STM32WB55 support only sending audio data through opus codec and doesn't have an A2DP behavior like other traditional BL. Could integrate an audio profile to the STM32WB for MP3, AAC, WAV
Hi, I am using STM32WB55RG as the MCU and LSM6DSO32 as the ACCELEROMETER in my project. In order to get my project CE certified, I require the Certificate Of Conformity for the both components.Hope you guide me to the right path.Thank You and Warm Regards,Pavan Kumar PerapuEmbedded Firmware DeveloperNext Step Dynamics
