I tried to debug the code by changing the "CFG_DEBUGGER_SUPPORTED" to 1 , but still we are facing the issues, RTOS tasks are not executing as expected. We found some task in ble_app.c with priority of "osPriorityNone" which is 0. Does this example code has any issue?
In the video workshop, it changes the led blinking frequency after the ble connection with mobile app. But I am still confused with how to send the data to PC. For example, if I want to send "Hello word" to my computer, where should I put this code and how can I receive this on PC? I saw the software cube monitor RF, can I use this software to receive the message I send? Or should I download other terminal to receive the data?

Dear Community! After my unsuccessful question and updating the library, I managed to quite quickly and simply transfer the "123 ..." data and see it on the gateway. The gateway has the ability to send packets in response. It contains parameters port number and message text. However, when I tried to receive it, I received the same incomprehensible data in the buffer, similar to the one originally written in the example. The gateway application configures the parameters:Open the receiving window after 1 second.Delay 1 to confirm the connection to the network 5 second. The number of repetitions of the packet - 3.I found the rest of the connection parameters in the file lora_app.h.I was trying to find the file where receive parameters are set. However, I found MBMUXIF_RadioSendNotif(); /* waiting for event */ /* once event is received and semaphore released: */ /* Notice: current needs don't require to copy back data from aRadioMbWrapRxBuffer to payload this migh
hi community, i'm getting trouble in updating firmware over the air via BLE, i followed the AN5247 for updating firmware via ST BLE SENSOR APP but it didn't work properly. I'm not able to load the new firmware in my nucleo, the board doesn't seems to be visbile in the new phase of discovering on my phone.I looked at almost everything on internet but i didn't mange to make it works, any help would be appreciate, thanks.
We are trying to load the stm32wb5x_Zigbee_FFD_fw.bin on STM32WB55RC, but the address table in the release note show as 0x00 for FFD stack and STMCube Programmer gives error as bad address. What is the actual address for Zigbee stack for 256K Flash devices ?
Hello,I was just wondering whether it was possible to form a 2M PHY connection with a Windows BLE App?I have developed firmware for my STM32WB nucleo board, along with a C#.NET Windows application to connect with it.I am trying to maximise throughput for file transfer however using the "hci_le_set_phy" and "hci_le_read_phy" functions to attempt to set and read the PHY of the connections shows that despite trying to set the PHY to 2M, it remains at 1M. Is this a limitation with the board, the fact the app is running on Windows (can't change phy from app side), or some other factor which I'm not seeing?Any information would be much appreciated!Oliver.
I am trying to transmit a single int using LoRa and the SUBGHZ_PHY middleware. However, I am unsure as to why UART has to be configured under 'Platform Settings', and how I can setup the STM project for this purpose. I am using STM32CubeIDE, and a Nucleo-WL55JC development board. Any help would be appreciated. Other info:Protocol: LoRaFrequency: EU 868MHz
I am using ble advertising example beacon project. I have initiated util scheduler/sequencer. I have registered inside scheduler exti buttom task that is used to standby whole device but it does not stop, device wakup imediately after standby. I am trying to stop all software timers, pause all tasks, deinit rtc wakup counter, deinit gpios, suspend hal systick etc. I have suspecion that scheduler is wakingup device. Is there any clear way do deinit scheduler. I found deinit function of it but it is empty when generating using cubeide 1.7.
In Table 150 ("STM32WLE5xx/55xx configuration in system memory boot mode") on page 380.In the section "USART2 bootloader", "USART1" must be replaced by " USART2".Thank you.JL
Hi,I have a custom PCB using the STM32WB55 running at 32MHZ. For some reason my board is drawing high current ~40mA. I’m trying to rule out anything I may have missed connection wise on the WB. Would anyone have any ideas if this high current draw is related to anything with the WB setup? My program is working properly so it isn’t a fatal problem, but the current draw is not going to work.thanks for any tips
I have a new design based on STM32WB55CGU6 Microcontroller. I wanted to use the MLPF-WB55-1E03 IPD Device for Maching Network. However, the device seems to be out of stock world wide. Can I replace it with MLPF-WB55-02E3?
I'm new at STM32. I have a STM3255WBRGV which i want to aquire data from sensors with, then send the data with BLE. Kinda like the p2pexamle project. I have seen almost all youtube videos and googled a lot about setting up BLE, without using an example project. Where do i go from here?
My questions are as follows, based on the use of the SUBGHZ_Tx_Mode Example project for the NUCLEO-WL55JC board. (1) Can I use it to transmit LoRa radio on 868MHz? It doesn't specify in the readme file. (2) When editing the .ioc file in STM32CubeIDE, I am unable to change the HSE clock frequency to 32MHz from 8MHz (even though it says that the range allows for it) in the clock configuration panel. (3) The interrupt handler is not called for some reason. I have tried configuring the pushbuttons to trigger interrupts, and enabling it in the NVIC tab, but it doesn't call the handler. I've done exactly the same for other projects and it worked perfectly each time, so I suspect that it's a project-specific issue. Thanks for the help. :)
Hi...I am using STM32WB5MMG MCU..to optimize the power consumption I am using HAL_PWREx_EnterSTOP2Mode() to put the controller in sleep mode.. But after power cycling the board multiple times the power consumption increases and not stable always...What can be done to achieve the lowest power and it should not have any fluctuation in power once the device is reset for multiple time....
i am using STM32 Nucleo Pack LoRa HF band sensor and gateways. The Gateway has STM32L073RZT6 low power MCU with ST LoRaWAN_GS. I am trying to connect the LoRaWAN gateway with LORIOT network server and after following all the procedures, i.e configuring the region and selecting the channel plans, I tried refreshing the page to see if my gateway was connected or not. But it wasn't: it was still showing disconnected. Also i am attaching a screenshot of what configurations i have done. Please help me.
Hi there,We purchased STM32WB5M-DK for our project. In STM32WB5M, We have only one SAI Interface. We connected PDM Microphone (MP34DT01-M) on SAI1 A. I want to play the audio signal with speaker through speaker amplifier. I'm using TAS2770 speaker amplifier having I2S interface. Can I configure SAI1B for transmit the sound to amplifier(TAS2770) ? Is it possible & correct way? Thanks & Regards,Sneha.KEmbedded Hardware Engineer Trainee.
Hi,I am using the STM32WB55 Nucleo Board and am trying to characterize the current consumption of the board using the BLE HeartRate example. For this, I want to send 20 bytes in the advertisement data packet. How do I set the length of the advertisement data? Or how should I go about changing the advertisement data length? Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks,Josh
Hi,Bluetooth 5.0 introduced a feature - LE Advertising Extensions - by which Channels 0 - 36 can also be used for advertisements i.e. secondary advertising channels. How can this feature be enabled in STM32 WPAN. We are running WPAN v1.10 on STM32WB55.BR,Irfan
Hi,I want to set a publish address in node-1 in BLE mesh without using the mobile app. This address can be either unicast address of other node or group address. Node-2 should be able to receive messages from this node without setting its subscribe address. In the node-1, I have tried using :AppliConfigClient_SelfPublicationSet -> ConfigClient_PublicationSet -> ConfigModel_SelfPublishConfigHere, publish address (unicast address of node-2) is successfully set (checked the return value of the APIs) but publication error occurs on the sw1 press and the node-2 does not receive any message.I don't want any mobile app intervention after provisioning the nodes.Which API can be used for my use case ? What am I doing wrong ?Can I get 'configuration server' code files ? If yes, then how ?Kindly help me out.
Hello,I am trying to understand the datasheet regarding current draw of the STM32WB55 during BLE transmission. I see TX maximum output power consumption (SMPS Bypass) 12.7mA but what I don't understand is... does this include the Cortex M4 processing along with the M0? Could I assume in this configuration a program transmitting a BLE stream (running at 64MHz) I would read ~12.7mA (MAX) from the power supply? Thanks
