I have a STM32WB35CEU7A. Vref doesn't provide a pin out, it's tied to Vdda internally. On my PCB Vdda is connected to Vdd. The question is: The ADC will take into account the internal Vref or Vdda ? I suppose the latter please verify. If that is the case can the internal Vref (Vrefbuf) still be read to offset the error from Vdda ?Thanks in advance
I'm working with STM32WL (Nucleo board). I connect it to a sensor via I2C and everything goes fine until I try to call the communication function via Sequencer. Using the Sequencer I get an error from HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit. The error is a timeout from I2C_WaitOnTXISFlagUntilTimeout.
Hello,In SUBGHZ generic pack FSK, how can I configure CRC to ITU-T CRC8 : X8+X2+X+1the only information I have find was in the datasheet of Semtech SX1261/2, and it was just about IBM CRC and CCIT CRC.What about other configurations ?
During debugging of a dual core application everything works fine for the CM4 core debug config and afterwards starting the program. As soon as I try to add the debug config for CM0+ the following error occurs: STMicroelectronics ST-LINK GDB server. Version 6.1.0 Copyright (c) 2022, STMicroelectronics. All rights reserved. Starting server with the following options: Persistent Mode : Disabled Logging Level : 1 Listen Port Number : 61235 Status Refresh Delay : 15s Verbose Mode : Disabled SWD Debug : Enabled Error in initializing ST-LINK device. Reason: ST-LINK: Could not verify ST device! Abort connection.I can reproduce the error using Nucleo-WL55JC1 with example dual core projects, so it is at least not my code. Tried onboard ST-link v3 and external STLINK V3SET.I verified my config following this tutorial.CubeMonitor and CubeProgrammer can connect without any issues.
I took an example code from the CubeWL packet, specifically PingPong, and it works fine out of the box. After than I starded to work on the code to adapt it to my need. Specifically I opened CubeMX and added the I2C periferal. After the code generator finished I noted that the folder arrangement was changed and that I had to redo the coding done before. In this process also code from the example was lost and I had to fix that too.At this point I was able to upload the code to the boards but they showed bad signal transmission.I can't figure out what difference is causing the different performance results, the lora parameters a re basically identical.
I recently bought a NUCLEO-WL55JC1 to try. I ran a very simple Mbed OS6 program (with serial output and an LED flashing), I had previously been running on an F411, which ran fine. I then changed a single variable (ms for LED flashing), and when I attempted to redeploy the modified code, it won't run. I have tried vanilla "blinky" code, and the "mbed-os-example-lorawan", but nothing runs. The STLINK flasher LED flickers green/red, as expected, to indicate a programme flash, but no activity thereafter. I have tried upgrading the firmware to V3.J9.M3, but still no luck. Debugging also will not connect and it "actively refused".Any ideas why this might be happening? Thanks in advance.
Hello,Does anybody know how I can implement SUBGHZ_Phy library:without: HAL library, sequencer, advance trace and debuggerthank you,Sincerely.
Hi, I am using STM32WB55RG microcontroller for my project. I am using BLE as part of my application. I want to disable ( turn off) RF sub system when I am not using. I cant use any low power mode because I have to use 64MHz as CPU1 frequency. I would appreciate any help on this matter.
Hi, in custom_app.c file, my event WRITE_NO_RESP_EVT is not call in the function Custom_STM_App_Notification. Where are the BLE notification in custom app ?
Hello, I am having a P-NUCELO-WB55 board and the Bluetooth does not work. I have verified the jumper cables and all the jumper connection are exactly as in the image on the embed website. I tried firmware update using Cube programmer. I loaded the ble_ota example and checked whether there is an advertisement. But it doesn't show any. I tried other examples but there is no sign of Bluetooth working. Please help me to get this sorted. Thanks
I have the following code:while (1) { HAL_SuspendTick(); HAL_PWR_EnterSLEEPMode(PWR_LOWPOWERREGULATOR_ON, PWR_SLEEPENTRY_WFI);After this and within the while loop are a bunch of if statements that check flags that are set in IRQ Handlers. These handlers exist OUTSIDE the while loop. My CPU1 is running at 16MHz and CPU2 (radio) is running at 32MHz (both using HSE). I see indications that for the above to work I must move the clock to < 2MHz. Can someone tell me how / where to do this? Is there a good app note for this? ....finally only thru watching videos on youtube would I have known to suspend ticks do I need to then restart these? Thanks

HelloAnalyzing the source code of some BLE LLD examples for nucleo stm32wb55 I could see that broadcast is used in Proximity example and unicast in Chat example, for instance. However, I could not understand how to choose between unicast or broadcast. Only calling an LLD function without ack will do this or there are some special addresses for broadcast ? Is there any additional documentation about BLE LLD besides UM2804 document ?Thanks a lot.
HelloI would like to dynamically concurrent for BLE and Mac protocols with STM32WB?The protocol stack uses stm32wb5x_BLE_Mac_802_15_4_fw.bin.If you call SHCI_C2_BLE_Init() / SHCI_C2_MAC_802_15_4_Init(), there is no response of the previously called protocol.SHCI_C2_CONCURRENT_SetMode(BLE_ENABLE)SHCI_C2_CONCURRENT_SetMode(MAC_ENABLE)SHCI_C2_BLE_Init() / SHCI_C2_MAC_802_15_4_Init() has been called before and after the situation. Is shci_c2_concurrent_setmode () not a function to set simultaneous mode? And SHCI_SUB_EVT_CODE_CONCURRENT_802154_EVT is defined by shci_sub_evt_code_t.What is this SHCI_SUB_EVT_CODE_CONCURRENT_802154_EVT?
Hi,I have a program running on the M4 core of the STM32WB55 and would like to pass a data buffer to the M0 for transmission over BLE (notification). I'm having a really hard time understanding how to pass the data between the cores and was hoping for a simple example that would outline the best way to do this. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Hi, I want to application with STM32WB55 mcus. One mcu will be a server with the hrstm application, and the other mcu will be a client and listen to the data and print listening data with uart to the screen. But I couldn't find any sample code as client. Can anyone help me? I can't run the APP_DBG_MSG command at the same time. You can find the screenshot attached my confuguration.
Hi, I'm trying to adapt ST LORA poing pong example to my own need. To do thaht I'd like to update the code to use specific address for master and slave. For example I'd like to set in source code the address 12000 to master and addresse 13000 to slave is it possible ? I want to have only one master and one slave each one with a specific address.Like RFM95 module andsendtoWait(uint8_t* buf, uint8_t len, uint16_t address)method
I want to change the tx-duty cycle when my application is running (from a scheduled downlink for example), I guess i just could replace the define with my own variable, but that would be overwritten as it is outside the user code sections. What is the recommended way of doing this?
HelloI'm using the NUCLEO-L073RZ board and the I-NUCLEO-LRWAN1 shield. I am trying to register with ChirpStack, but there is a problem. After connecting power, I can check JoinRequest and JoinAccept messages from ChirpStack Application Server. However, the uplink message sent by the End device was not received, and the End device was not activated. Can't this board connect to ChirpStack?
Hi everyone,I am trying to create a windows pc app to talk to the STM32WB board using the dongle.I want to run some scripts, e.g., write to characteristic, connect, read an etc.I saw that STM32CubeMonitor-RF can already run scripts via some text files. I wonder if it is possible to run the script text file from the CLI, or better talk to the dongle via some sort of .dll interface. The second would the preferable way .Thanks
Re-post as bug report of my previous topic at https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00001JBypZSAT/stm32wb55-ble-full-stack-1130-breaks-reftable-after-pin-entryWe are experiencing difficulties with the BLE Full Stack 1.13.0 on our STM32WB55.Switching from 1.12.1 where the following scenario works flawlessly, 1.13.0 manages to corrupt part of the RefTable that is located in SRAM2 after doing the following:- Try pairing with invalid PIN "0000" (pairing is rejected, connection is terminated)- Pair again with valid PINNow the ref table is corrupt (see the attached screenshots) and leads to an access in the address space of the CPU where no RAM is mapped to. I'm using nucleo l073rz and I'm trying to connect to Chirpstack. But it doesn't have an uplink. When I checked the JoinRequestMessage, all contents of App_eui were zero. I set it to the original App_eui using the serial port, but it returned to zero in a day.Why is this happening repeatedly?
On STM32WL55, i have made a skeleton for an app including subghz in fsk, with mx config tool. When building i get an error on one core and warning on the other about MX_IPCC_Init(),wich is declared static in main.c and used in main so i can thing the init is done.from ipcc_if.c :void IPCC_IF_Init(void (*IPCC_IF_CommandRcv_cb)(uint32_t channelIdx), void (*IPCC_IF_AcknowledgeRcv_cb)(uint32_t channelIdx)){ /* USER CODE BEGIN IPCC_IF_Init_1 */ /* USER CODE END IPCC_IF_Init_1 */ /*Initialise the ipcc, initialises MSP*/ MX_IPCC_Init(); <- ERROR undeclared /* Enable C2AHB3 peripherals clock. */ LL_C2_AHB3_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_C2_AHB3_GRP1_PERIPH_IPCC); /* IPCC EXTI (AIEC) line foRegardsJP Lathuile
