HiI'm trying to connect I-NUCLEO-LRWAN1 with Nucleo-L073RZ to gateway bt it's not getting connected.
Hi I am sending a AT command through USART2 -char CGSN[] = "AT+CGSN\r\n";HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2,(uint8_t *)CGSN, sizeof(CGSN),100);HAL_Delay(500); HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&huart2,(uint8_t *)&ch,1);I am receiving ch in callback and storing each byte in a buffer the response stored in buffer is - \r\n9876543212345\r\n\r\nOK\r\nhow do i filter out n" 9876543212345 "and "OK" and store in separately array Thanks & Regards
The option bytes WRP1A_STRT = 0xFF, WRP1A_END = 0xFF, WRP1B_STRT = 0xFF and WRP1B_END = 0xFFwere programmed initially, then it got changed to WRP1A_STRT = 0xFF, WRP1A_END = 0xFF, WRP1B_STRT = 0xFF and WRP1B_END = 0xFF. I don't know when and why it got changed.Do you guys know what's the root cause behind this?
Is it possible to run the Matter stack on STM32WB55VGY7TR with an external 1Mbit QSPI flash and no other companion chip?
I am finding that I cannot run the debugger on this example application and that after programming I must reset the device for it to start working. I get "Target is not responding..." and am using the P-NUCLEO-WB55. This problem is unique to only the BLE_FreeRTOSHeartRate project from the firmware package.Furthermore, I was wondering if anyone knows if you can use CubeMX with this example or if you should not. Thanks
Hi,I am developing a LoRaWAN project using the ST code (LoRaWAN_End_Node). int main(void){HAL_Init();SystemClock_Config();MX_LoRaWAN_Init();MX_GPIO_Init();MX_I2C1_Init();MX_TIM16_Init();HAL_TIM_Base_Start_IT(&htim16);while (1){MX_LoRaWAN_Process();}I was able to connect to the network server by performing the following software sequence:SystemApp_Init() --> LoRaWAN_Init() --> APP_LOG(TS_OFF, VLEVEL_M, "\r\n###### = JOINED = ") Now I would like some help to know which correct sequence I should follow to carry out the uplink procedure to the network server.I tried calling the SendTxData() function to send the battery level and temperature, but it didn't work. The final idea of the project will be to send the temperature, battery and position of my valve to the network server from time to time, or when I press a button.Could anyone help me with this sequence, please? Thank you! Regards,Tiago Fernandes
We're working with the STM32WB developer board and we've encountered "slow BLE writes" with android. While trying to make our BLE writes faster, we determined that if we remove the "GATT_NOTIFY_WRITE_REQ_AND_WAIT_FOR_APPL_RESP | GATT_NOTIFY_READ_REQ_AND_WAIT_FOR_APPL_RESP" event flags-- when we add a service characteristic, the BLE write speeds increases from approximately 10KB to 120KB per second. Can anyone provide any insight into the link between sequencer latencies and expected throughput? like, most importantly, I think: what sort of latencies stop Android from writing several packets during a connection interval because we really need to reenable those events to get at the incoming data. Our EVT_BLUE_GATT_WRITE_PERMIT_REQ handler seems to be really simple; it's just memcpy plus some basic C data processing plus the code from STM's framework. Perhaps we shouldn't be using the ST sequencer?New Note Added: Please note, we came across these community posts and they seem to indicate tha
Here at the university we have some projects using STM32WB for BLE applications, but we only have succeeded after messing around with teh BLE_CUSTOM example and overwriting some info into the ioc via notepad (it was used to be able to change the file name and such thing), and after that we were able to configure the BLE in the STM32CubeMX normally, but when made from scratch, even following this ST tutorial, the server wouldn't show up neither on the ST BLE Toolbox nor LightBlue apps, but when i use the example it works fine. If i was going to use the STM32WB55 it would be fine, but as we are changing to the STM32WB35, which has no examples avaible on the STM32CubeMX, i have stumbled upon a big trouble making it work. Is there any setting or step that i am probably missing that is not indicated on the tutorial?Edit: STM32CubeIDE not STM32CubeMX*
Using the NUCLEO board with STM32WB.Device is currently configured as server to act as a peripheral. (one of the examples)I am interested in connecting it to multiple central. Is it possible?Any example will be great.
I developed a software to collect LC sensor measurement and upload the data to TTN via LoRaWAN. The software is working well in NUCLEO-WL55JC1 but failed to run on my own board with STM32WLE5 MCU. My program is written for single core only so it should be no problem to run on STM32WLE5. Unfortunately, it is failed. I would be grateful if any expert can give me some hints to solve the problem.Kind regards,WK Tam
We developed our software in our STM32WLE5 board for LoRaWAN applications. It is working well to connect the TTN with OTAA in the NUCLEO-WL55JC1. When we migrated the software to our board with modification of the RF switch control GPIO pins, the software switches to ABP and sends the data out although it is actually not connected to the TTN server. Is any expert be able to help in solving this issue ? Many thanks.Kind regards,W.K. Tam
Hi,we've been testing STOP2 modes and faced random core2 crashes.We use radio stack 1.15.0 LightCrash data at 0x20030000: 0x1170fd0f 0x00000000 0x00000939 0x2003fa20Any ideas?
Hello, Thank you for any feedback on this issue.i am using the Freertos Heartrate example shipped with the SDK as a starting point.i have noticed that the float type is not getting printed in the debug messages, so i enabled the "use float with printf from newlib-nano" opting in the MCU settings.now i can see that float type numbers are printed correctly but i am no longer able to connect through BLE, it is simply undetectable, even though the debug messages show success on aci_gap_set_discoverable and the advertisement manager is working properly.Any insights on how to fix this issue are welcome. and have a nice day.
Hi,I am currently using the package version 1.6.0 on a STM32WB55.When i configure the STM32WB55 on CubeIDE, it seems that select RTOS with CMSIS_V2 and the BLE Application Type "Server profile" configuration is possible, in fact the code is generated. Instead if i select the BLE Application Type "Client profile", the code cannot be generated anymore. Why is there this limitation? Is it possible to work-around it via code bypassing the MXCube Generator? Will it be resolved in next firmware package releases?I have also noticed that in "Server profile" configuration, using RTOS there are a lot of Server Modes not available, but they are available using the sequencer. Will these be developed in next firmware releases?Thank you in advance!Lorenzo
I made a PCB board with STM32WB5MMG, which receives the data of max30112 through external falling edge interrupt and sends it through BLE notify. However, once I add the execution task UTIL_SEQ_SetTask(1<<CFG_TASK_SPO2_EVT_ID,CFG_SCH_PRIO_0); in HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback;My program just fails. The interrupt callback function is shown in the figure below:If you comment UTIL_SEQ_SetTask( 1<<CFG_TASK_SPO2_EVT_ID,CFG_SCH_PRIO_0), the program runs normally. The task (CFG TASK SPO2 EVT_ID) just notify two uint8_t data with a value of 0.And I use a timer to trigger tasks regularly to verify that the characteristic of BLE notify is normal.(It's ok.)At present, I guess that the EXTI and BLE notify features will conflict, or there is some problem between EXTI and UTIL_SEQ_SetTask. How can I verify it?Thanks in advance.
Hi, I am working on STM32WB5MMG controller and now I want to see bluetooth receiving message. How do I check message received at board level?
Using the NUCLEO-WBA52CG I have been trying to get debug logs to be set over SWO(PB3). Using a logic analyzer I can see the logging getting to CN4:10(PB3/SWO). The signal does not make it to the embedded STLINK-V3MODS pin 6. There are notes in the development board reference manual (UM3103) that say modifications to solder bridges are necessary. These modifications are not documented in the manual and I have been unable the proper arraingment with continuity testing. A copy of the carrier boards schematic would be a big help.
Hi, I need NUCLEO-WBA52CG boards schematics and Bill of materials. So it will be useful for me to replicate/use/create circuits as far my concern.
I am going to order a NUCLEO-WB55RG kit but I can not find user manual under https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/nucleo-wb55rg.html#documentationAnd I also want to know is there an USB dongle come with this board? Thanks!
Hello,I am trying to develop app based on BLE_MeshLightingProvisioner example. From the readme file, I know that the node can be self provisioned and configured when the ENABLE_PROVISIONER_FEATURE is defined. This is a great feature and I want to use it. So I uncommented ENABLE_PROVISIONER_FEATURE define. In this example, there is a problem with FLASH access. As can you see on the screenshot AppliPrvnNvm_Process tries to save data but it is always HAL_TIMEOUT. After more tests I can see when microcontroller is fully cleared (RDP -> 0xBB -> 0xAA) this function works properly and returns HAL_OK.But after reset there is always HAL_TIMEOUT returned. The next problem with FLASH access is that I can not write my data to FLASH.In the cube version 1.6.0 there is provided an example BLE_RfWithFlash with flash_driver.c.The new flash driver should provide correct synchronization between the two cores during flash access.I made the following changes based on this example.Inside my mesh app I c
Hi,I am using comp2 for our project ( STM32WB5MM )were we use INP Plus and INP Min Pins for the comperator, for INP plus I Use the PB4 and For INP Min i want to use the Pin PB3 or PB7 but unfortunately I am not getting interrupt at disered voltage, but if I just change INP Min Pin to PA4 everything works properly and i don't understand why its working for only PA4 pin and not for others...
Hi everyone,I am actually working on a project based on a custom STM32WB55 platform with a LIS2DTW12 (accelerometer) embedded.I am having an issue with a code based on the BLE_p2pserver example code. I am using the LIS2DTW12 dataready interruption as a "virtual button" in order to update the alarm which is readable through the ST BLE Sensor smartphone application. The example code is running "as is" without any issue, the device is discoverable and i am able to read the services and characteristics.Adding the LIS2DTW12 (12,5 Hz ODR) interruption (through EXT1) seems to be blocking the connection between my custom board and the ST BLE Sensor application (but still discoverable)./*Configure GPIO pin Output Level */ HAL_GPIO_WritePin(LIS2DTW12_CS_GPIO_Port, LIS2DTW12_CS_Pin, GPIO_PIN_SET); /*Configure GPIO pin : LIS2DTW12_CS_Pin */ GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = LIS2DTW12_CS_Pin; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_OUTPUT_PP; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL; GPIO_InitStruct.Speed = GPI
Hello, Could you please tell me what equipment I need to buy to transmit data from STEVAL-STWINBX1 via the LoraWan protocol?Thank you in advance for your answer
Hi All!I have some doubts about possible connection STEVAL-L99615C with for example X-Nucleo-IDB05A1. As far as I understand it should works, but I am not sure if it will be possible to get data send by bluetooth to computer and then read them in dedicated software (STSW-L99615CSW / STSW-L9961BMS). Could anyone help me with this problem?
Hi there,I am wondering what the probe line settings in the LoraWan software pack are for (End node skeleton). My guess is they are used to signal the occurance of some events while SWD debugging is disabled, but I couldn't find any usage of them in the Lora(-Wan) drivers.
