Evaluating the STM32F070RBT6 for a project, and using STM32CubeMX V6.10 I am unable to connect the PLL to the HSI RC. It all works ok if I use HSE.I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong.

I opened a ticket in the ST online support system and was pointed to this forum for support.I have a device that uses the ST25DV64K and I'm talking to it using the ST25R3911B-DISCO board and the corresponding Discovery GUI from ST. The documentation for the tag chip says that any addressed request will not be executed if the UID does not match the tag's UID. When I send an addressed GPO interrupt request (looks like 22A902[uid]80), all tags that receive the request - not just the matching UID - send an interrupt. I have confirmed that the GPO configuration registers are set correctly (0x84, RF_INTERRUPT_EN and GPO_EN enabled, all other bits disabled), so - as far as I'm able to determine - this appears to be an issue with the chip, as I can't see any indication that the DISCO board could be causing this behavior. This misbehavior is causing failures in our testing, so if anyone from ST could advise on how to correct the issue, we would appreciate any available information.

Hi,          I am MURALI SELVAM I need one solution for STM32F103RCT6TR. Which is CAN pins in STM32F103RCT6TR IC. Kindly tell me. Thank you.

Hello,We are designing a PCB based on the Nucleo-H723ZG board. We need the complete project files (schematic, fab, assembly, and PCB layout with Gerber) in Altium if available.RegardsHai

Hello, everytime I try to download a file (in STM32CubeProgrammer) that was generated using STM32CubeIDE I get a data mismatch error at address 0x08000004.  Interestingly, if I write a simple blink sketch using the arduino IDE and upload that it works fine (And arduino is set to use STM32CubeProgrammer to upload - when in boot mode of course).  So I can take either the .elf or .bin that the Arduino IDE generates and upload just fine with STM32CubeProgrammer but NOT a .elf file that I create using STM32CubeIDE.I'm completely new to STM32 so any ideas on where I should look would be appreciated.

I want  to run MCU with VDD 1.8V (in order to have all I/O-signals as 1.8V). I changed to use a LQFP64 package which provides a dedicated pin for VDDUSB.I power VDDUSB with 3.3V (for sure not below 2.7V) but all other VDDs on MCU are 1.8V:USB function (FS PHY) FAILS if VDD drops below 1.8VMCU seems to run with VDD a bit below 1.8V, e.g. 1.794V. But USB is not working anymore! For USB I need at least 1.804V: then boot is OK, USB comes up and later VDD can drop to 1.793V and still working (but not booting up properly with USB on 1.793V: no USB enumeration anymore). All my 1.8V ordered and soldered LDOs do not work - because they provide just 1.79xV: USB does not come up.And the debugger (external ST-Link) becomes flaky with VDD a bit below 1.8V (50% of the tries it does not find the target). So,with "off-the-shelf" LDOs (ordered) for 1.8V, even USBVDD is 3.3V - it does not work (with USB, but MCU seems to be running still).BTW:With a VDD a bit below 1.8V and VDDUSB 3.3V - I can shortcu

if I configure the USART and use HAL_UART_Transmit. The UART to USB bridge is taken care of by the ST-Link chip.Could i use the VCP on the board is on PA9/PA10(pin D14 and pin D15 to rx and tx to arduino) and use digital.read on arduino to get the information of char[] like tipo "%s %.0f%%"?

I have configured the M7 clock to 480 MHz and the M4 clock to 240 MHz using the HSI as input.  In SystemClock_Config routine the statement__HAL_PWR_VOLTAGESCALING_CONFIG(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE1);is crashing the STLINK-V3 with the error messageError in executing 'step' command ...Target is not responding, retrying...I had a breakpoint at that line and activated it with the Step Into (F5).

Hello everyone,I spend hours trying to print the male and female ♂ ♀ symbol on the screen, without success.I tested this code and it works perfectly, when I change the hex to the desired symbol does it print "?" Screen1ViewBase::setupScreen(); Unicode::UnicodeChar buf[2] = {0x2082, 0}; Unicode::strncpy(textArea1Buffer, buf, 5); textArea1.invalidate();any tips pleaseRegards,Rego

Hello,I've been working on editing in expert Mode the MEMS Sensor Fusion function, and I've added to the Bluetooth streaming also the USB streaming. In this way thank to Tera Term I'm able to read not only quaternions but also accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer measurements. Instead via Bluetooth I can only view quaternions. My ultimate goal is to transmit all three measurements (acceleration, gyroscope, magnetometer) as well as the precomputed quaternions via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy). This data have to reach a mobile app. Could someone please provide guidance on how to achieve this?Thank you very much for your assistance.Best regards, Claudio

Hello,I'm using a STM32U5A5VJTXQ MCU and I need to use the 2K BKPSRAM located @0x40036400.I can read and write without problem the BKPSRAM after power up, but a power cycle corrupt all the content. Strangely, the RTC content: time and registers, are all retained.Do I have to make a special setting to ensure that the BKPSRAM retains its contents?ThanksBest RegardsClemente

Hi,I am at the beginning of my STM32F756VGH6 register programming journey. I have already setup everything, and now I am at the led blink (using a logic analyzer for measuring the time intervals). I decided to make a simple blocking delay function out of a basic timer. The reference manual of STM32F756VGH6 describes the basic timers as really simple and beginner friendly peripheral. I did my best to follow the datasheet and common sense. However, the timer is completely unpredictable right now... Increasing or decreasing the counter prescaler results in some 1.5x or 2.3x incremental steps (prescalers can only by round numbers.) I am not sure is my timer 6 primarily fed with 50 MHz or 100 MHz, because APB1 clock have 2 derivatives, one dedicated only to timer peripherals, so I was going out to find it out by experimenting with the delay value. However, giving the delay function variable of only "1" results in some 6.167 us delay, which is orders of magnitude more than it shoul

Hello,How should I make connection to the Tuya gateway with zigbee? I have read zigbee wiki dokumentation about zigbee binding. I have understand that I should use "find and bind" mechanism in that case. I tried to find suitable example from github, but I'm not shure, which one is the closest to my case. The goal is to make some sensor value to be seen on Tuya smart home app.Connectivity:Zigbee Binding - stm32mcuSTM32CubeWB/Projects/P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo/Applications/Zigbee at master · STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeWB · GitHubI understood that I should use method ZbStartupFindBindStart()Esko

I've recently bought a cheap Chinese ST-link v2 clone. It uses a Geehy APM32 MCU. Which is I guess  STM32 clone. I've since replaced it with a genuine STM32 MCU and st-link firmware. I was able to run it on  STM32 ST-link utility. But failed to run it on STM32CubeProgrammer. It wasn't detecting the st-link device. Is there a solution?

I was wondering if an stm32h7 could run open source calculator Firmware epsilon, i would need to rewrite an interface layer, and don't want to work for days so i can find out that the stm32 is not strong enough.

Can we have the Altium project for STM32F0Discovery?Thanks

Hi,There is a typo in in the datasheet of the ILPS22QS datasheet: DS13431 - Rev 3.Table 19 on page 32 states that default value of CTRL_REG2 is 00h.But on page 39, chapter 9.7 CTRL_REG2 bit EN_LPFP has a default value of 1 resulting in 10h  I hope that the page 39 is correct, rather than table 19...Thanks in advance to confirm.Romuald

hi, dear teamI have bought the parts FXLS8967AFR3   from two  franchised distributor, and found their marking label character are different, pls see attached pics, and could you help confirm how to indentify the marking label?

Hi,I'm trying to use usb device of my STM32WB55RG Nucleo board but when I connect my device to computer, I got a "USB Device not recognized" error. I used "LL_HSEM_1StepLock( HSEM, 5 )" function before APPE init. How can i get rid of this error?Best regards.

If i compile the same source code in different pcs using same STMCUBE IDE version , Whether i will get same .ELF file?In my case, If i do a comparison(using beyond compare),its not matching and there are significant difference between the two .ELF files. We need your quick feedback. We are using STM32CubeIDE 1.12.1.

Hi,I currently have a LabVIEW 32 bit application that uses the ST M24LR-DISCOVERY evaluation kit via the CR95HF.dll, and now have a need to update this application to use the ST ST25R3911B DISCO DISCOVERY kit via the ST25R3911DISCOComm.dllIs there and documentation regarding the ST25R3911DISCOComm.dll availableIdeally a xRef document between CR95HF.dll and ST25R3911DISCOComm.dll so that I can match the correct function names.RegardsJohn

"2.1 Software Interface" in the VL53L5CX datasheet states that the driver (C code, reference Linux® driver) is delivered. How can I get this driver? Please let me know if there is a download URL for the source code.

I just purchased the VL53L5CX-SATEL Breakout Boards for VL53L5CXhttps://estore.st.com/en/vl53l5cx-satel-cpn.htmland i have been trying unsuccessfully to get it to work with an Arduino Mega 2560. Does anyone know if it is possible to get it working with the Arduino Mega 2560 ? If not, should it work with an Arduino Due ?

I am trying to use STM32Cube IDE, here is a question that my board is not reseting automatically after programing.I would like to ask is there anything similar to the behavior of "Download and Reset" in Keil? Sincere Thanks.Succi.

I am using STM32 board: STM32H753I-EVAL2 board and wish to turn on/off the 4 color user LEDs by press of a button on the 640 x 480 TFT LCD screen attached to the board. Any tutorials where I can learn how to make the LCD screen and GPIO ports in the board or HW  in the board interact?
