I want to connect B-CAMS-OMV (cam module ) to B-U585-IOT02A ( discovery kit). But there is no info bout that connection. I already read the user guide bout both. Can you give me some information or solution bout Connection with B-CAMS-OMV and B-U585-IOT02A ?

Hello, What is the maximum data transfer rate over the SPI interface for the LIS2DH12 accelometer? The datasheet doesn't say anything about this. About the I2C interface it is said that it can operate in standard mode (up to 100 kHz) and fast mode (up to 400 kHz). But nothing is said about the SPI interface.

I'm trying, unsuccessfully, to get a simplest single-channel single-ended polling-the-ADC example going on the nucleo h723 eval board. At first I started bare-metal in assembler from the datasheet, but couldn't get the second ADC sample to fire no matter what register gymnastics I did (the first ADSTART puts some bits in the DR, I figure that did something to the analog input). Then, figuring I'm still not setting up clocks right or something, I reverted to STM32CubeIDE and followed various HAL tutorials such as this one; same outcome.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uiO68pdjZAThis particular ADC seems more involved than the simple ones usually covered in tutorials. Can anyone point me to an example of repeated single-shot acquisition with polling or interrupts that actually works on the 723ZGT6 part?(Bonus points if it can actually run at the claimed 3.5 MS/s...)

Hello everyone, I hope you are well.I'm working with the STM32WB55. I'm having difficulty getting RTC to work correctly. The VBat is always powered by 3v3, I have an on/off switch that only removes the power from the VDD, however, when I turn it off and on the microcontroller is stuck in the routine: "while (LL_RCC_LSE_IsReady() == 0U)". I noticed that when CFG_HW_RESET_BY_FW is 1, the board continues to function, but it resets the RTC registers and the time is lost and when CFG_HW_RESET_BY_FW = 0, the firmware is stuck in the "while (LL_RCC_LSE_IsReady() == 0U)" routine. Looking through the oscilloscope, the clock is all right. Can anyone help me? Thank you very much!

In the STM32H7 ref manual (RM0433 - Section 51.4.4), the following is said about configuring an SAI block in synchronous mode with the other SAI block in the same SAI peripheralI'm confused about the following statements:Typically, the audio block in synchronous mode can be used to configure the SAI in full duplex modeWhat is meant by full duplex mode above? One of the two audio blocks can be configured as a master and the other as slaveORBoth as slaves with one asynchronous block (corresponding SYNCEN[1:0] bits set to 00 in SAI_xCR1)and one synchronous block (corresponding SYNCEN[1:0] bits set to 01 in the SAI_xCR1).Option A makes sense to me, but for option B, is it valid for a slave block to be Asynchronous ?My SAI implementation on STM32H753 is configured as follows, is this a valid synchronization setup?SAI2-A : Master transmitter, asynchronousSAI2-B : Slave receiver, synchronous with SAI2-ASAI3-A : Slave transmitter, synchronous with SAI2SAI3-B : Slave receiver, synchronous with S

Hi,I am using IMU sensor LSM6DSO set to 100 Hz sampling rate. I am trying to figure out what is the tolerance of the IMU sampling frequency set by it's internal clock. How confident can I be that when I set it to 100 Hz, it will not fluctuate to higher/lower frequencies?

The "Copy to Clipboard" button is good to have, I guess, but in its current implementation you can't see what code is behind the button. Make it smaller, make it stay in the same position on a scroll, or something else so text can be seen. In contrast, the View More button is a great addition. More good features like that please.

To Andrew, SofLi Hy Andrew and SofLi. I well received your last informations posted this week-end. Therefore it was week-end. I test a NUCLEO board without ST-link; my computer is a Mac-mini and the NUCLEO board offers capabilities to be separate in to part, the ST-link microcontroller and the targeted microcontroller, enabling to reduce power consumption on plant. Bootloader offer capability to read and write any address in address space; then I think the simply way to give you understable informations it's to give you an excell file with the list of my search. Hoping this is nice to you, I hope an answer. Best regards. Butterfly.

I'm working on a STM32F469I-DISCO board. My project isn't difficult I think. I want to aquire datas with a radar and display some information on the screen in function (like distance between objects and later draw them at different places on the screen). So now I'm using TouchGFX to configure the screen and I am importing the project in CubeIde to modify it and add my code related to the radar and the different calcul. Then, my objectif is to display information in the screen using "wildcards" that we can parameter in TouchGFX.I've already see many tutorials such as this one https://controllerstech.com/touchgfx-5-data-from-uart-to-ui/ that I thought was exactly what I wanted, but it doesn't work.

"Hello, I'm currently working with the FDCAN module on the STM32H747I-DISCO board. I've successfully configured both FDCAN modules in the M7 core, and they are working as expected. However, when attempting to configure them in the M4 core independently, I encounter issues – the FDCAN modules do not work reliably. Interestingly, if I first call the Init and Start functions for both FDCAN modules in the M7 core, then the modules in the M4 core start working. Nevertheless, this behavior is inconsistent. Can anyone provide insights into what might be causing this issue ? Thank you!"

Hello,The ST25R3916 Discovery GUI has an option for user to set a target amplitude in mV.Question 1What are the important criteria when choosing a target amplitude for the AAT?Question 2Is the lower the target amplitude the better or the higher the target amplitude the better? Thanks in advance! Best Regards,CTee

Hi,Now I am trying to port the rfal library for an ST25R3920B.I have defined all mandatory part of platform.h and rfal_defConfig.h file. And I enabled the flags ST25R_SELFTEST, ST25R_SELFTEST_TIMER to find out issues of initializing. The ST25R_SELFTEST is passed without any error, but for ST25R_SELFTEST_TIMER it fails in st25r3916WaitForInterruptsTimed function  st25r3916EnableInterrupts( ST25R3916_IRQ_MASK_GPE ); st25r3916SetStartGPTimer( (uint16_t)ST25R3916_TEST_TMR_TOUT_8FC, ST25R3916_REG_TIMER_EMV_CONTROL_gptc_no_trigger); if( st25r3916WaitForInterruptsTimed( ST25R3916_IRQ_MASK_GPE, (ST25R3916_TEST_TMR_TOUT - ST25R3916_TEST_TMR_TOUT_DELTA)) != 0U ) { platformErrorHandle(); return RFAL_ERR_SYSTEM; }  And then, I looked closely at the if conditional sentence, and I don't understand it.The return value of st25r3916WaitForInterruptsTimed() function is not 0 when an interrupt occured without a timeout. right? So it means when it's an

The system consists of three modules: a 4G module, a GNSS module, and an STM32 processor, with the modules connected to the STM32 via UART. In terms of program functionality, the STM32 needs to implement data forwarding and saving. It receives data from the GNSS module, forwards it to the 4G module while creating a copy to save on the SD card; it also receives data from the 4G module, forwards it to the GNSS module while creating a copy to save on the SD card as well.To achieve the above logic, I have used UART DMA、Ringbuf and Free-RTOS. UART DMA is set to DMA circular reception mode with HT, TC, and UART IDLE interrupt enabled. Data is first transferred to a fixed DMA Buff through DMA, then manually moved to Ringbuf in the callback function. In the processing function, data from Ringbuf is moved to the SD Ringbuf and to the sending Ringbuf. Corresponding operations, such as SD card writing and DMA sending, are executed in their respective threads. This is roughly the framework of

I have a STM32H755 based board where we use M7 for BareMetal and M4 to run zephyr OS. We enabled IWDG1 in BareMetal and finds that the Flash erase of Bank 1 (M4 bank1, M7 bank 0) from Zephyr cause a reset and reset cause is IWDG1. Couldn't understand what is the dependency. M7 should be able run code from Bank 0 while erase happens on Bank 1.Now I have enabled IWDG1 in hardware and the reload value is 5 msec. It continuously reboots and I am unable to connect the STMCubeIDE to halt the Cores from rebooting due to IWDG1. I have enabled Debugger0>Device Settings to have 'Suspend watchdog counters while halted "Enable", but IDE connects and disconnects immediately due to watchdog reboot which happens right away after boot. Is there a way to recover from this state.. Since I am not able to connect debugger or STMCube programmer, I am not able to flip the OB bit for hardware watchdog for IWDG1. Need help

Can anyone confirm that a new M24M02 eeprom 256kB is 100% filled with 0xFF when first used?im wondering if we have a major bug where there are already settled parameters in our system because of addresses with something else than default 0xFF. thank you very much.

Hello everyone in the community.■What you are having trouble with :→I tried to add a string to a text file saved in "microSD" using "f_write" of "FATFS", but the written content was not saved.■Specific phenomenon:→As shown in the PG below, the result of "f_write" is "FR_OK", and "byteswritten" also returns the number of written bytes, but no data is obtained even if "f_read" is performed. When I checked the contents of the SD card, the written contents were not saved.*The contents of the SD card were checked by stopping debugging after "f_close" processing.*See PG below*When I checked the contents of the file separately using only f_read, I was able to read it.■Environment:・Windows・STM32CubeIDE_1.12.1・nucleo-f207zgt6・C language ■PGstatic const char* filename = "test.txt";FATFS sDFatFs;FIL myFile; if (f_mount(&sDFatFs, "", 0) != FR_OK){return;} if(f_open(&myFile, filename, FA_OPEN_ALWAYS | FA_WRITE | FA_READ) != FR_OK){return;} uint32_t byteswritten, byt

I am writing to an SD card using the Adafruit_Shield BSP library on the STM32L4R5ZI Nucleo board.  I had it writing 10 values, from 0x00 to 0x09 but the second byte (with a value of 0x01) was getting corrupted as set to 0x00.  I changed the array so it was set to start at 0x01 and end with 0x0A and instead of it being the second byte that was corrupted, it was the first byte, which was now 0x01. I reran the same test starting at 0x02 and all the data came through correct.  My takeaway was there's an issue if value 0x01 is used within the first x number of bytes (not sure what that number is or the reason for it).  To test this further, I made the buffer 512 bytes starting with 0x00 but changed the array location 216 (arbitrary) to 0x01 to see if it would be corrupted there as well.  Byte 2 (0x01) was changed to 0x00 but byte 216 was still 0x01.  I was feeling more confident that that might've been the problem and then got confused even

HRTIMe1 Interrupt needs HRTIM-MASTER Interrupt to fire?I saw similar issue in GitHub but it pertains to Source of fault.Anyway, I am using STM32G4 V1.3 on STMcubeIDE V1.5.1 on win10 machines (2 PCs)It seems that HRTIM-E1 will not fire up the interrupt unless I enable HRTIM-MASTER and its interrupt via CubeMX.Here is the setup of HRTIM-E1:in main()HAL_HRTIM_WaveformOutputStart(&hhrtim1, HRTIM_OUTPUT_TE1 ); HAL_HRTIM_WaveformCountStart_IT(&hhrtim1, HRTIM_TIMERID_TIMER_E );in MX_HRTIM1_Init()static void MX_HRTIM1_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN HRTIM1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END HRTIM1_Init 0 */   HRTIM_TimeBaseCfgTypeDef pTimeBaseCfg = {0}; HRTIM_TimerCfgTypeDef pTimerCfg = {0}; HRTIM_CompareCfgTypeDef pCompareCfg = {0}; HRTIM_TimerCtlTypeDef pTimerCtl = {0}; HRTIM_OutputCfgTypeDef pOutputCfg = {0};   /* USER CODE BEGIN HRTIM1_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END HRTIM1_Init 1 */ hhrtim1.Instance = HRTIM1; hhrtim1.Init.HRTIMInterruptResquests = HRTI

I've noticed what seems to be a bug when writing to flash with the '-w32' flag using STM32_Programmer_CLI. My order of operations is:I erase sector 0 of the flashI read the first 8 words of Flash and verified that it's erased.I write some words to flash with the command:stm32_programmer_cli -c port=SWD mode=NORMAL reset=HWrst -q -w32 0x08000000 0x00000001 0x00000002 0x00000003 0x00000004 0x00000005This write fails with the message:Error: Failed to download data! If it's a Flash memory, it may be not erased or protectedI read the first eight words of flash and it has this value:0x08000000 : 00000001 00000002 00000003 FFFFFFFF0x08000010 : FFFFFFFF FFFFFFFF 00000000 00000000So it writes the first three words correctly, skips three words, then fills from 0x0800_000C - 0x0800EC7C with zeros. Certainly not what I expected/hoped!I've attached a file showing all of the commands and the output. For reference, I'm using the STM32WLE5JC and version 2.15 of STM32CubeProgrammer.Next, I'll try the -

I had a board assembled through JLCPCB, which included mounting an STM32L071. When the PCB arrived, I loaded a program with a blinking LED in an infinite loop. Unfortunately, the program didn't behave as expected, and during debugging, I encountered what is shown in the image. However, when I load the same program onto another board with an STM32 from Farnell, everything works as it should. This made me wonder if the MCU might be a clone. How can I tell? What does the error actually mean? Could it have a different vector table? I can step through a few lines, but once the program is running, I can't pause it to see where the program currently is.

I designed a board that uses the STM32G431C6 and is intended to connect in a chain with other similar boards, but I am having problems when powering them up. They turn on and work fine sometimes, but sometimes boards won't turn on. Each board I designed includes a voltage regulator that steps down 5V to 3.3V to power the STM32G4. I added a jumper between the voltage regulator and the STM32G4 for testing purposes. When observing the Vdd traces, they always turn on correctly at 3.3V. When using the benchtop power supply I can observed the voltage rise curve slow down. To avoid that, I turn on the power supply and then short the power wires with the power supply (+ to + and - to -) to jump start it. This seems to work but if I take out the jumper and put it back, the board wont turn on. Also, if I power multiple boards connected in chain, when disconnecting one from the chain and connecting it back the board wont power. The charge time on both of this test seem to be < 20ms while the p

I took the default STM32F101VFTx, enabled PB8 & PB9 as GPIO Output, and then tried to pull the pins low.  I am having an issue that caused me to create this isolated test.   Configurations, code, and scope on the pins below.  Repo for this test case is found at https://github.com/Octochi/GPIO_toggle_testI have checked for shorts to ground, power, and between the pins, all passed.  The MCU is otherwise operating normally on the board. I tried changing mode to open drain.  Shorting the test points to ground pulls them low (observed on waveforms).I'm not sure what I need to look at next to understand why these pins are stuck high.  Any help is appreciated!... /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */while (1){/* USER CODE END WHILE *///HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_8);//HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_9);HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_8, GPIO_PIN_RESET);HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_9, GPIO_PIN_RESET);HAL_Delay(1000);/* USER CODE BEGI

Hello,I have set Timer2 Channel 1 as input capture for STM32F407G-DISC1 board and generated a code with STM32CobeMX.Source code link: stm32-intro/timer2_general_input/Core/Src/main_app.c at 5d95347ebcc34a3142ddb65ea15c5016199e8dca · freecode23/stm32-intro · GitHub1) In generated code, why am I getting HAL_TIM_Base_MspInit instead of HAL_TIM_IC_MspInit ?2) In my main code I have to start the base timer then only IC callback is working.3) Code always remains in callback and never come out of it, even it is not going into the while loop after starting the timer. Thanks!

Hello,I am looking to develop with the STM32 microcontrollers for the first time and was hoping to get some help. I need to create a device capable of outputting 3 separate sawtooth waves that are individually controllable to synthesize audio based on user input. I was looking at the STM32G431K6T6 or something similar, as it has a development board, the NUCLEO-G431KB, and claims to have 4 DACs. I am confused about this however. It says that 2 DACs are external and 2 are internal. Does this mean that only 2 can be sent to external circuitry? Is there any way to get 3 observable and individually controllable waves out of this device? Also from what I've read, it seems that the way to create a sawtooth wave is to increment the DACs output and reset it with a timer. Since these timers are configured in STM32Cube with prescalers etc. is there a way to actually change the frequency of the DACs wave after the code is running?Would this maybe be easier to implement with an exter
