Hello,On nxp website (https://www.nxp.com/webapp/etpu/), i saw than they have developed some function for the eTPU co-processor. But i don't know which "eTPU-equipped device " should i select to program the SPC56 and how to program it .Thank you

Hello.I have developed a module that has an STM32F103ZE controller. This controller has a USB interface. In order to test the modules, this USB interface is to be connected to a Windows PC via a needle bed. Then various test commands are to be sent via the USB interface for testing. However, Windows assigns a new Virtual-ComPort number each time a new module is connected. Is there a way to suppress this so that the same Virtual ComPort number is always assigned? This must only be the case for the test system. Could this be done by adapting the Windows driver? GreetingsRasmus

From the user manual "A Guide for Using the Artificial Intelligence Enabler VL53L7CH and VL53L8CH Multizone Time-of-Flight (ToF) Sensors" -- specifically the "Histogram Configuration" section -- it mentions that we can use 'start_bin', 'num_bins', and 'sub_sample' to configure the CNH data. I've implemented this configuration using the Example_12_cnh_data.c file, and it works well.My first question is, how many bins are there in the device's raw histogram bins?My second question is, how can I get all raw histogram bins?     Currently, I find that in 4x4 mode, I can obtain a maximum of 75 bins, and in 8x8 mode, a maximum of 18 bins. Is it possible to access all raw histogram bins by editing the API's source code? In other words, assuming the device's raw histogram bins number is 100, how can I obtain 4x4x100 CNH in 4x4 mode, and how to get 8x8x100 CNH in 8x8 mode?Thanks- Jian

Hello I'm developing a self-powered device with "fast charge" feature, which assumes that USB VBUS pin can supply up to 20V. In this case, a simple voltage divider will not be able to provide an acceptable logic level within the range of 5–20 V. Additional voltage comparators, suppressors are not an option as I want to keep things simple. What if calculate a simple resistor divider for 20V, pass the lowered voltage to ADC, measure it and set the state of a VBUS sensing pin programmatically?

We are working with the STM32H745I-DISCO and a custom daughter board we designed that interfaces with the Arduino Style Connectors on the DISCO Board.  We believe that there are errors on both the Altium Source Schematics and the UM2488 (Page 16) for the labels and documentation of CN6 Pins 1 and 2.  I am attaching copies of a page from both sources showing the original labels and our redline corrections.  We traced these signals on the PCB route to verify our corrections are accurate.  ST should really correct this as we spent a good deal of time incorrectly assuming the documentation for these signals was accurate!  This will help save others from going down the wrong path!

Hello,I'm trying to run the X-CUBE-IOTA1 v3.0 on the B-U585I-IOT02A board, but after following the tutorial in UM2606 I get the following error when trying to send L2Sec Stream:What can be the reason of the pairing_stsafe result failing, please?Best regards,@Jocelyn RICARD @Benjamin BARATTE

I created TouchGFX Demo7 by selecting the STM32F769I Discovery Kit.After generating code, I ran the run simulator to check that it was running on the PC, and then downloaded the program to the STM32F769I Discovery Kit through Run target. In the photo above, you can no longer move on to the next step.I also tried converting the file using ffmpeg-2023-06-04-git-b1c3d81e71-full_build, but the result was the same. How do I get the Kit to work properly?

Hi We are using product STM32H56 series , I am encountering problem while building my project .I am STM32cubeIDE , trust zone enabled .I enabled X-CUBE-FREERTOS  M33non secureIn software package I installed   -STm X-CUBE-FREERTOS  -CMSIS RTOS2-TZ_non_secure and desired Heap configuartion .I am getting the error as below .Please help me to resolve this issue.

Hi,I am working on a project with an STSPIN32G4 motor controller and using MCSDK 6.2.1. The motor I am working with has a quadrature encoder with 1024 cycles per rotation. It's not clear to me in MC Workbench whether I should enter in this value, or multiply by 2 or 4, to get "pulses per mechanical revolution."Thanks,Aaron

Hi, can anybody tell me what type of diode I see here?Marking is:GAAGP 843 Thanks.

Hello, I am developing an AI classification model based on LSM6DSOX sensor data. Before adding the X-CUBE-AI software pack to Cube IDE, I was firstly developing the data acquisition code with the driver from X-CUBE-MEMS1, which I managed to do. After adding the Cube AI software pack, I uploaded my .h5 file, analyzed and validated the model (both on desktop & target) and I didn't get any errors, so everything was fine. However, after the generated code was integrated into the project, I started to get several build errors. I didn't change anything in my main.c or in any generated file, so I don't understand why this is happening. For further information, my MCU is a STM32U585CIU6, and I attached a .txt file with the errors I had.Could anyone help me, please? Thank you!

Hello,I am developing a CAN bus application.I am new to the FDCAN peripheral and I haven't understood the difference between nominal bit time parameters and data bit time parameters.Which of these two groups of parameters should I configure to obtain the desired baud-rate and sample point?Regards,Carlo

Hello Team,I want to add external memory to NUCLEO-H745ZI board. In that board i have configured 2SPI, Ethernet (without RTIOS) and Timmer for that I need huge memory. This there any configuration or steps to add external memory to board. Best Regards,Gagan Gowda

I am using CANFD with an STM32H7 and a transceiver that is compatible with CANFD and CAN 2.0 (ISO1044BDR).I can see that in the configuration the CANFD can be used as a CAN 2.0. What I want to know is what is the easiest way to integrate the flexibility between choosing of using CANFD or CAN 2.0 in my project. I'm planning on using a DIP switch to signal the MCU what I'm using. Or is there a way to keep the CANFD code and communicate with other CAN 2.0 devices - probably not as the packet is not the same and other parameters... The second question here is can I include both functionalities (CAN 2.0 and CANFD) and choose it at run time which one I want to use? Thanks

I'm facing difficulties bootloading or upgrading firmware on an STM32F405 MCU from an SD card.Could anyone recommend a library or resource for achieving this? I've already tried a few methods but haven't had any success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,I'm trying to download the STSW-IMG043 software package for VL53L7CH and VL53L8CH.https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-img043.html# It fails every time that I try to download. All other packages from the imaging software section are available but this STSW-IMG043 one. We need it for  x-Nucleo-53l7a1 development.https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/imaging-software/products.htmlCould you please let me know how I can download STSW-IMG043?Thanks.

Is it necessary to enable Free Fall detection in order to detect orientation changes? What role does Free Fall (FF) play in this context? Additionally, is there a way to set a threshold force for detecting orientation changes, such as when the IMU is rotated left or right with a certain force, triggering an interrupt? And also can you share the code of 6d detection for lsm6dso

I want to use OTA for update, but there is no instruction. I don’t know how to update to sr6g7_evbc6000p_b through OTA.

Hello,   I am new to STM world. I am trying to make an array of GPIO pin in this format {{PIN1_GPIO_PORT, PIN1_PIN}..... This would then be used in custom function so I can dynamically access this pins. How should I declare such array and how would i use them with HAL_GPIO_WRITEPIN function. Main use of this is to select SPI slave to communicate with.   Thanks in advance

Hi,please can somebody give me a hint how to flash OpenSTLinux onto SD card on board STM32MP135F-DK ?i'm under specific condition, currently i can't download Starter package (some unknown technical problem) which includes utility : STM32_Programmer_CLI,and i just built Distribution package using bitbake after 6 hours ...i'm reading howto :https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32MP13_Discovery_kits_-_Starter_Package#Flash_microSD_card

This is not a discussion on the 'U0 as such (that'd need some time to sink in); just comment on the 'L0->'U0 migration document, AN6091. It's a very detailed and extensive document, and following items are just relatively insignificant minor issues/typos: - after an optimistic introduction in Pin compatibility chapter (The STM32U0 and STM32L0 series share a high level of pin compatibility.) the subsequent subchapters basically say "nah, forget about it". The TSSOP-20 package is entirely different. On the QFN packages, 'U0 does not have VSS on the exposed pad, so two pins are simply used as VSS, making drop-in impossible. These make the optimistic intro somewhat less substantiated. - pity that the consumption - which is supposed to be the main selling point of 'U0 - is not presented side-by-side with 'L0, making it hard to compare - Tab.16 description of reset state of GPIOs is incorrect as 'L0 has Analog as defaults too;  instead of 'L0 mentions 'L1 , clearly a fossil (see also

Hello Developers,I am currently testing Sigfox AT slave example from STM32Cube_FW_WL_V1.3.0 on STM32WL nucleo board. I already have 5 set of ID,KEY,PAC values from sigfox  build for testing purpose.   But when i am running sgfox at slave example, i am uunable to set id and pac values usinthe AT command. So can anyone please tell how can i set ID, PAC info in STM32WL using AT Slave.
