Hello!This is written that Touchgfx widget 'Text Area' if has enabled the action 'WIDE_TEXT_WORDWRAP' then the call 'getTextWidth()' will return the width of the widest line but it returns the width of the total text area.Can you please check how to improve this?Thanks in advance!Best RegardsHafsa

 Hi ! I am using MT25Q128 on LCD screen with stm32f746 and the image comes out fine.If I use MT25Q128 instead of MT25Q256 in memory, the image is not displayed.The program modification is modified for MT25Q256 in Driver->BSP->stm32746g_discovery_qspi in cubelde.Please help me if I need to modify it in touchgfx as well.

Hi I am trying to run freeRTOS on STM32f407 so I want to know at what frequency my clock will run let me share you my clocking diagram too. another doubt how to enable SysTick_Handler. other external interrupt I have enabled like this  NVIC_SetPriority(TIM2_IRQn, 0x00); NVIC_EnableIRQ(TIM2_IRQn); NVIC_SetVector(TIM2_IRQn, (uint32_t)&TIM2_IRQ_Handler); Note : #define configSYSTICK_CLOCK_HZ ( configCPU_CLOCK_HZ ) #define configCPU_CLOCK_HZ ( ( unsigned long ) 16000000 ) is it correct B.R Ashish

Hi all, Just a question, I have one stm32wl RAK3172 chip, on this chip I have a stm32f4 connected via UART like thatSTM32F4 UART2             RAK3172 UART1 PD6               ---->            PB6.   PD5              ----->           PB7   I'm trying to communicate with ST UART bootloader without success. I've put my RAK in bootloader mode (I'm sure because I'm able to detect it with stm32cubeprogrammer mode uart connected to PA2PA3) My question is can I use PB6 and PB7 on my RAK to use uart bootloader or should I write custom bootloader to use it because basiclly stm seems to only use PA2 and PA3

Hello,I am trying to use PC15 as GPIO input on the STEVAL-PTOOL4A. I configured it using CubeMX with pull-down resistor however the pin status is not changing in the software. I am sure my switch works well (checked on oscilloscope) and the LSE is disabled. Just I generated the code using MC Workbench and configured the PC15 as input mode. Normally it should be configured for DIR signal as per the datasheet. In addition, I have found that the J13-5 (which normally should be connected to PC15) is always at 3.3VIs there any additional configuration that should be made?Thank you for your support

Currently there is no appropriate documentation regarding the SPE module in the GTM. Is it discontinued? If anyone has a any good example regarding the SPE implementation or any application note regarding SPE. It would be helpful.

Hi,A small but annoying bug with STM32CubeMX 6.14.0 with H7 package 1.12.1.  Every time I change anything in the LWIP general settings (e.g. DHCP enable/disable), the PHY setting changes by itself from USER_PHY to undefined. This is a nuisance as if you generate code without realizing, some files are deleted meaning you lose user defined code blocks.Example file attached.On a side note, ST please add a KSZ8081 PHY option.  Seems to be commonly asked for.  The code is 95% the same as the LAN8742 option.  I have attached a KSZ8081 example to show how similar it is.  Or at least abstract the PHY function call names so that just the part number specific function definitions need to be changed (as is done in the EthPHY.h example attached.The USER_DEFINED code template that is generated is not much use.  It does not allow returning error for init failure.  It also does not have access to the netif or PHY register read/write functions.Thanks

Hello, I'm working with the AEK-MCU-C4MLIT1 board, which features the SPC58EC80E5 MCU. While using UDE STK 5.2, I noticed that the JTAG connection is always successful, regardless of the password set to unlock it. This suggests that the JTAG password lock is not yet enabled. What would I have to do to enable the JTAG password lock? Thanks!

Hi ST Community,Are the NC pins completely isolated from the device. Wishing to know if there would be a problem with them being driven, pulled to VCC or to VSS. Thanks!

Does the STM32H743XGH6 have a pull-up/pulldown resistor built into the JTAG pin?Is it necessary to add external resistors?We ask this question because the AN4488 application note does not cover this product.

Hello ST experts, i need help about using STM32H747i-discoI'm testing Uart Tx(DMA)-Rx(Interrupt). My goal is 10Mhz uart tx-rx.The problem is that i success 750khz, but fail to Rx when baudrate 1Mhz~10Mhz. I set the disco 480Mhz setting (hw SB setting done for SMPS -> LDO).Uart8 peripheral clock is 120Mhz(Max). Uart8 Oversampling changed 16 -> 8 sample.So i can set uart8 baudrate up to 15Mbps. I connect STM32H747i-disco CN6-D0(PJ9 uart8-rx) to CN6-D1(PJ8 uart8-tx).So if i run uart8_tx -> uart8_rx will catch.I have testing uart gpio speed low to very high but it is not work for my case.Success at 750khz. Fail at >1Mhz. Need some advise.Thank you.

Hi,What could be wrong with BLE_p2pServer example project import here? Happens with other example projects as well. Images should have all needed information like steps to reproduce, board version, CubeIDE version etc. Operating system is MacOS Sequoia 15.3.2.

Hello! This is my first post here. I'm currently designing a DIY loop pedal for guitar, which basically records samples of audio and plays them in loop.I'll be using a STM32H743VIT6, embedded on a WeActStudio dev board. The audio CODEC is the PCM3060. I'm aiming for 24bits resolution with 44.1kHz sample rate, 256Fs.I don't know much about I2S in general, so this is what I've pictured: I should setup the ST as master full-duplex, so it can receive from the CODEC and transmit to the CODEC at the same time (the looped audio, when it has finished recording). This is what I've setup so far on CubeIDE:(both DMA requests' data width are set to Word)What's confusing me is the "Error between Selected and Real". Will it cause significant distortion/noise? I tried looking at the clock tree for some kind of configuration, but I didn't find something like a PLLI2SCLK (which I've found on a STM32F411).

I'm trying to make genuine STLINK-V3MINIE to work, but without success.The target device is STM32F103C8T6.VCC is connected to T_VCC (pin 3 of STDC14)SWCLK is connected to T_SWCLK (pin 6 of STDC14)SWDIO is connected to T_SWDIO (pin 4 of STDC14)RESET is connected to T_NRST (pin 12 of STDC14)GND is connected to GND and GNDDetect (pins 5, 7, 11 of STDC14)STM32CubeProgrammer is properly detecting STLINK-V3MINIE, even shows voltage of the target.But when I try to connect to target, it gives message:Error: No STM32 target found! Hello, I'm using an STM32C011J6M6 with the Arduino IDE to register with theST25DV64KC-IE6S3 's EEPROM. I previously used the ATTiny85 and would like to replace it with the STM32C0 to maintain the entire solution with ST components. I made some changes to the code but I can't register with the SDA/SCL of the STM32C0. According to the datasheet, I should use pin 8 as SCL and pin 1 as SDA, but the registration with the EEPROM isn't working, I tested the eeprom address with ATTiny85 and it is 0x53In the project with the ATTiny85, I didn't need to declare the terminal to perform this registration. Does anyone have a programming example that communicates via I2C?#include <Wire.h> #include <EEPROM.h> #define EEPROM_ADDRESS 0x53 #define START_ADDRESS 0 int currentAddress = START_ADDRESS; int counter = 0; void setup() { Wire.begin(); } void loop() { writeToEEPROM(currentAddress, currentAddress); currentAddress++; counter = (counter > 499) ? 0 : counter + 1; cur

Hi,I'm using STM32G071RBT6 microcontroller where I need the fastest ADC time sampling as possible. I'm sampling 12 ADC channels. One of them is Vbat.According microcontroller datasheet "5.3.22 Vbat monitoring characteristics", the minimum ADC sampling time when reading the VBAT should be ts_vbat = 12us. This is a limitation for my application and I would like to reduce this time. My questions are:1. What is the technical reason for this minimum ts_vbat = 12us, while others like "ts_temp" or "ts_vrefint" have much lower values?2. Are there any workaround to reduce this time?3. Which could be the impact in the "Error on Q" if we configure in our application the ts_vbat = 10us? Thanks in advance,Marco.

I started working successfully with MC_SDK 6.3.2. I am doing position control application with BLDC motor. In "ST Motor Pilot v1.2.12-PositionControlApp" I want to set "Terget Position" value to values bigger than the set max value. From which file can I do this? And I want to change the variable type from "radian" to pulse etc.

I just submitted my first topic to the technical forum and had it immediately flagged as spam. I have no idea why this occurred and I'd just like to be able to post my topic. Thanks.

Hi We are using STEVAL -TTM001V1 Kit which consists of L9907 driver and trying to interface it with STEVAL-TTM002V1 Controller board (SPC560P50L3)  to run the O-Drive 5312 Motor.   We are using the sample program SPC560P50L3_MotorControl_STEVAL-TTM001V1  from application library to run the motor. We have changed the motor parameters according to O-Drive 5312 motor in the motor settings of the motor control component. Then generated the application code in Observer + PLL ( Sensorless ) mode to run the motor. We are not getting any waveform in the PWM pin when checked with an oscilloscope. We tried to debug the code generated but the variables are showing not found. We also tried by enabling the Demo Mode but still it doesn't work. Do we need to set anything other than motor parameters ? Are we missing out anything else ?

Hi,   Refer to NUCLEO-H753ZI's schematics - mb1364-h753zi-c01_schematic.pdf  1.  About 8 ADC channels go to CN11 and CN12 on this schematics without the pin numbers denoted..     Do all pins on the connectors CN11 and CN12 accessible since there are no physical connectors?   2. PA0_C, PA1_C, PC2_C, PC3_C, PH2, PH3, PH4, PH5  are all ADC channels, but they are missing in the schematics. Why? Below is what I found - ADC1/2.ADC12_INP0   PA0_C.ADC12_INP1   PA1_C.ADC1_INP2    PF11      CN9-11 PF10 DNF?.ADC12_INP3   PA6 CN7-8.ADC12_INP4   PC4* CN12 DNF MORPHO CONNECTOR RIGHT SIDE                       OPAMP1_VOUT, COMP1_INM.ADC12_INP5   PB1       CN9-7                        COMP1_INM.ADC1_INP6    PF12 CN10-7 DNF PF4.ADC12_INP7 &nb

HiIn the reference manual, RM0481 rev1, for analog watchdog window it mentions SQRi and JSQRi registers. I can not find any descriptions about these registers.Can someone help me clarifying this?BrImre

Hi,    I do not use PD8/PD9/PB0 pins in my design. Therefore I did not configure them in CubeMax.    Why NECLEO-H753ZI CUBEMX Pinout View PD8/PD9/PB0 pins are in RED? Thanks, Peter

I connected a external button on my PCB board and am trying to use it to toggle another GPIO Pin (PA8) with HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback()I connected the button to PC4 on my NUCLEO board and is configured as follow: /*Configure GPIO pin : PC4 */ GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_4; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_IT_RISING; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_PULLDOWN; HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOC, &GPIO_InitStruct); In the User Code 4 Section: void HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback(uint16_t GPIO_Pin) { if(GPIO_Pin == GPIO_PIN_4){ HAL_GPIO_TogglePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_8); } } In stm32g0xx_it.c: void EXTI4_15_IRQHandler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN EXTI4_15_IRQn 0 */ /* USER CODE END EXTI4_15_IRQn 0 */ HAL_GPIO_EXTI_IRQHandler(GPIO_PIN_4); // PC4 HAL_GPIO_EXTI_IRQHandler(B1_Pin); /* USER CODE BEGIN EXTI4_15_IRQn 1 */ /* USER CODE END EXTI4_15_IRQn 1 */ }What I dont understand is when I push the button using this configuration it works:In main while-loop: if(triggerDetected==1) { if((HAL_GetTick()-trigge

I want to confirm if the below 3 commands 1,2,3 can be given sequentially or any delay required between them. These 3 commands i am giving when a key is pressed. if(IDLE == MC_GetSTMStateMotor1()) { g_qdreference_s.q = 1000; MC_SetCurrentReferenceMotor1(g_qdreference_s); - command 1 MC_ProgramTorqueRampMotor1(g_qdreference_s.q ,1000); - command 2 (void)MC_StartMotor1(); - command 3 }

I've been trying to create a mesh for 2 weeks now and even just send data from a card to a pc via bluetooth but I'm completely stuck and I really need help. I have 3 sensortile cards. box (STEVAL-MKSBOX1V1) I saw that it had v5.2 BlueNRG-M2 and so normally I could make a mesh using function pack or even the application ios st ble mesh. but I'm totally blocked I wonder if this is even possible.Can anyone give me some pointers, particularly on how to integrate the function pack or something else?
