Where can I find 'Getting Started' documentation for Stellar Studio - which is listed as SW dev tool for SR5E1E570C30F00X? For STM32 products, I was using STM32 Cube IDE which had Cube MX integrated (To generate driver code). I believe similar should be there for Stellar Studio. But I am not able to find any relevant documentation.

I am trying to send GPS data using B-L072Z-LRWAN1. I use PingPong project and changed the PingPong_Process as follows.static void PingPong_Process(void) { Radio.Sleep(); memcpy(BufferTx, tempBuffer, sizeof(tempBuffer) - 1); Radio.Send(BufferTx, PAYLOAD_LEN); }  "tempBuffer" contains a portion of the GPS data. When I receive data on another B-L072Z-LRWAN1 and view it in TeraTerm, it appears to be capturing GPS data. However, data reception stops after a few minutes. Sometimes it stops after one minute, while other times it continues for about 20 minutes. I can send text data using same B-L072Z-LRWAN1 without problem. However, errors occur when sending and receiving GPS data.Edited to apply source code formatting - please see How to insert source code for future reference.

Hi ST Support,A few datasheets for the BrightSense series, eg. um3224, show an option under CFG: Streaming readout mode control which is not precisely described in the documentation."-0x06: = XY binning x2"How does this differ from "-0x01: = digital binning x2"?The documentation says that digital binning is vertical+horizontal."Digital binning digitally combines every two pixels in horizontal and vertical directions to create the pixel output. This solution averages the pixel photoshot noise and improves the SNR without impacting the frame rate."Thank you!

Dear all， I'm trying to control ST67W611M1 wifi module by using a linux host chip. After flashing the newest firmware I reset the module to SPI mode. Some logs can be received through the uart interface and the SPY_RDY pin is drived to high level. But I just receive 0xAA 0x55 0x09 through SPI, it seems not a 'Ready' signal. I am sure that the SPI is configured as requested, which is confirmed by using a oscilloscope. What should I do to solve this problem? Besides, That would be great if a linux-based SDK can be provided. Thanks

Hi! We have designed a custom board using STWLC38 but its not working. We also have the Evaluation kit of STWLC38 and Im using the same coil to test my custom board. Im getting roughly 0.6V at VRECT pins after nearly every second.  I aslo have attached my schematics. Please help me out with this. Regards,

Hi,I’m trying to confirm the supported year range for the built-in hardware calendar in the STM32L452RE.Since the RTC year register is two digits (00–99), does this mean the calendar supports dates from the year 2000 to 2099?I’d appreciate it if anyone could clarify up to which date the RTC can correctly calculate. Thanks,

Regarding the statement in the ASM330LHH datasheet “Embedded compensation for high stability over temperature”, does this mean that each output is temperature compensated? Does the compensation value correspond to the memory contents loaded when the BOOT bit is set? What output behavior is expected if this read/boot operation fails?

Hi , I am using STM32CubeIDE version 1.17.0 & I am getting "Failed to parse WMIC output" in the error log and It is not stopping even when the kit is connected. Attaching screenshot.

If I have a bootloader that resides at 0x8000000 and the main program starts at 0x8008000 I can load it with the debugger and all is fine. I can run it in standa alone mode with the bootloader jumping to it as well. However, if I try to restart and rerun the program with the debugger it doesn't work and I have to reprogram. Is there a way to set up the debugger so that I don't have reprogram each time please? FWIW doing this on a L476.Thanks!

Hi everybody, i am using stm32f4 i2c. First, I execute the program successfully, then I execute it again and the Oled screen appears like this. What is this error? Can you help me fix it?

Hello, I am working on a project using an AVR64DB32 MCU and the VL53L1 time-of-flight sensor over I2C.I downloaded the official API from ST (STSW-IMG007) and adapted vl53l1_platform.c to my environment.Since my I2C communication library is written in C++, I converted it into vl53l1_platform.cpp. I also wrote a simple distance measurement test program (main.cpp).My custom I2C driver (I2cDriver.cpp) is already used in other projects and seems reliable, so I assume the issue is not primarily there. I have attached these files for reference. The issue: Inside the while loop, I repeatedly call VL53L1_WaitMeasurementDataReady. If successful, I call VL53L1_GetRangingMeasurementData and then VL53L1_ClearInterruptAndStartMeasurement. In this case, I blink an LED once. If it fails with VL53L1_ERROR_TIME_OUT, I blink the LED twice. For any other error, I blink three times. After each loop iteration, whether success or failure, I wait one second before retrying. When running the program, I

Hi, I use 2 VL53L1 Sensoren via I2C for measuring distance. At first I used a raspberry pi and the provided API and it seems to work properly and all fine. Since I need to reduce my power consumption I migrated my Code to an atmega644 and therfore I use Atmel Studio for developing Code.Using this Controller I observe some strange behavior. Using the default setting, it takes around 30 seconds for a measurement to provide data, the interrupt show the same time frame. If I start a measurement immediately (continuous mode) it again takes ~30 seconds. If I start waiting 10 seconds delayed it takes around 20 seconds. So it seems the interrupt show measurment time is 30seconds. I tried to configure it, as well as time budget to 200ms. I also set long range mode explicitly and preset mode to autonomously. What i saw is the same behavior but with about 19 seconds not 30. So i started debugging and comparing. The lib seems to read some values from the Sensor at start up. Thes

Hello everyone! My problem is that if I flash the BLE_DataThroughput_Client and Server projects to the boards and follow the ReadME step by step to connect two boards, the boards are seemingly doing nothing. On the terminals I can see that after pushing the reset button, the programs are initialized correctly, but no matter how I'm pushing the joystick, nothing happens (no blue led, nothing on the terminal). I tried implementing the joystick in the project in a similar way that the BLE_Audio_PBP_Sink does but it did not work, and manually toggling GPIOC PIN 13 did not work either. It seems like to me that the buttons are not correctly implemented in the projects for this discovery kit. That being said, in the ST BLE Toolbox android app I can connect to the server board and measure upload speeds. Anyone else had this issue or am I doing something wrong? Thank you in advance!

Hello, I have a FUNDAMENTAL question: TOF VL53 series  sensors report a depth map. Is the depth the "Euclidean distance from the origin (0, 0, 0) to the point (X,Y,Z)" ? or is the orthogonal distance from the camera chip plane to the measured point along the optical axis?? if we use, x y, z  ( z is the sensor chip surface normal direction, i.e., the optical axis) to represent the measured point, the first case is depth^2= x^2+y^2+z^2, The second case is depth=z.Anyone can give me a concrete proved answer? Many Thanks to you in advance!!

Hi everybody,I used a STM32F446 to communicate on NMEA2000 (CAN bus). The two pins (RX/TX) of my µc are connected to an isolator SI8621 (https://www.skyworksinc.com/-/media/Skyworks/SL/documents/public/data-sheets/si861x-2x-datasheet.pdf) and then, a can transceiver is connected MCP2542 (https://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/aemDocuments/documents/APID/ProductDocuments/DataSheets/MCP2542FD-MCP2542WFD-4WFD-Data-Sheet-DS20005514C.pdf)My board doesn't supply the NMEA2000 (the +12V is provided by T-bone of CAN bus - (I have a voltage regulator 12V to 5V on my board). When I supplied the NMEA2000, it works fine. But, NMEA2000 is an option, and by default nothing will be connected on the connector, so no there is no supply on the CAN bus transceiver, so the initialization of CAN bus doesn't work (timeout error). It's no use to put a pull-up resistor on RX or a end of line resistor because there is no voltage. For me the only solution that I see, is that the user (I've a screen) says if NMEA2000 is

Hello,  I have two channels on ADC1 and I want to trigger a s ample separately, every two seconds from first channel and every 10th second from second channel. I am using interrupts so after the adc trigger I get an interrupt when conversion is done. But it seems i only get a sample or read it from the first channel. I am new to stm32 microcontroller so i am not sure what can be wrong. I am configering everything and using an interrupt handler for reading the ready sample. I get the interrupt after each trigger but it seems i am getting the value from the first channel.  __HAL_RCC_VREF_CLK_ENABLE(); // enable the internal voltage reference hadc1.Instance = ADC1; hadc1.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_ASYNC_DIV1; hadc1.Init.Resolution = ADC_RESOLUTION_12B; hadc1.Init.GainCompensation = 0; hadc1.Init.ScanConvMode = ADC_SCAN_DISABLE; hadc1.Init.EOCSelection = ADC_EOC_SINGLE_CONV; hadc1.Init.LowPowerAutoWait = DISABLE; hadc1.Init.ContinuousConvMode = DISABLE; hadc1.Init.N

Hi,I am working with a battery pack and the BMS. I have connected everything correctly to the board and after a first run everything seemed to work properly, the board was receiving commands from the MCU through the translator ISOSPI, and the green led blinked and remained on, signaling to be successfully in the 'normal' state. Later though, I had to disconnect the BMS from the battery pack. Therefore, I unplugged everything safely and separated the BMS from the batteries. Though, upon reconnecting the board to the batteries, the green led remained on for some seconds, and then went off, something that looked strange to me. Indeed, when I plugged everything back, MCU, translator and BMS, the BMS seemed to not respond anymore to the communication, and the green led D2 was always complitely off. I started to wonder why, and by looking on the datasheet I came to the conclusion that I might have entered the reset mode. Is it possible? I thought that could be either a sleep state or a reset

I am working on a project to replace a legacy ST62 IC in a industrial charger 24V/45A charger with an STM32 microcontroller (STM32F0 series). The main issue is with the PWM signal generation using TIM1 and TIM3. Both timers have 16-bit prescalers (value 0 to 65535), and I need to generate a PWM at 1 kHz with about 1000 steps of resolution. My timer clock is 8 MHz. Based on calculations, prescaler and ARR values can generate correct frequencies, but the PWM output voltage is only around 2.7V instead of the expected 5V, and there is no effective voltage output for charging.I suspect this issue is linked to the STM32CubeMX pinout or timer configuration:Correct PA6 pin configuration for TIM3 PWM output.Proper timer frequency setup: prescaler around 725 with ARR 0 tested, but PWM not as expected.Possible problem in software initialization or timer start sequence affecting PWM output.Relay control pins and PWM outputs may not be correctly activated or sequenced.I have tested a new STM32 board

Hello, I recently integrated LSM6DSOX on a testing PCB which contains an MCU and some other peripherals. The problem is that I have been trying to reduce power consumption without success, and I thought maybe you could help me find the problem. First, the application also uses BLE, and I measure power consumption during advertising, connecting and other states. Before the LSM6DSOX, the consumption was around 45-60 uA during these states. After integrating it, the consumption rose up to ~97-140 uA, which is unexpected as I have confirmed it to be low power mode. I also confirmed that the previous code with the current board with LSM6DSOX also consumes around 45 uA, so I assume there is something wrong in the code, handling, configuration etc. Hardware details: 1. I have connected a MOSFET as a switch before the power pins of LSM6DSOX. Meaning, I set high/low the gate of the mosfet to give power to VDD and VDDIO pins. I thought this was something t

Hello!I am trying to provision a DA certificate on STM32H563 through CANFD Bootloader in system memory.I am calling special function 0x83 as described in AN2606 and AN5405. As I can understand, this is an RSSLIB_PFUNC->DataProvisioning.I am filling the structure and place it to the SRAM3. See the picture/hex.typedef struct { uint32_t *pSource; uint32_t *pDestination; uint32_t Size; uint32_t DoEncryption; uint32_t Crc; } RSSLIB_DataProvisioningConf_t;The structure is placed in 0x2005C000The 0x60 bytes of the obk payload is placed in 0x2005C000.The fuction returns Error code 0xF5F58080 (CRC Error).I've tried several algorythms, byte-reversal, but could not get it worked.I tried to find an example of using this function, but without success. So, I am asking for some code example showing this function.Maybe I need to prepare data somehow. Or add another data in crc calculations. Thanks!

Hello, I am designing a PCB board using LSM6DSO and STM32f1xx, this PCB design will be only an experimental design for a bigger project, so I need both SPI and I2C to be available for testing (not at the same time).I'm wondering if there will be any issues regarding having both of them, espcially from the HW side, and is there any considerations or something to keep in mind when designing the PCB.Thanks! "Design schematic, typical connection for mode 1"

Hi everyone. Can someone from ST please provide information about when the STEVAL-MKI248KA will be available for testing? We are currently designing a new device that could really benefit from ISM6HG256XTR but we are tight on time and already in the integration phase, so it would be great if we could test this new product as soon as possible.  Thanks  Tiziano

Hello everyone!I tried to explore TouchGFX for the first time to discover the advantages of it.So in TouchGFX 26.0, I started a project for the STM32N6570-DK.What I did: "Create new", then selected "STM32N6570 Discovery Kit".Before doing anything, this problem appears: "Cannot Run Target" and the "Program and Run Target" button appears disabled.I noticed the "STM32U5G9J DK2 has the "Program and Run Target" button enabled. Is the STM32N6570-DK not supported in TouchGFX?Or what did I do wrong?Thank you in advance for your help.
